I was visiting Dallas for the week and the Frisch location definitely made me feel at home. They already knew me by name, had a welcome sign with my name on it, and gave me kudos for the accomplishments I hit during class. I will definitely be visiting again the next time I am in the Dallas area.

The family environment here is amazing. Everyone pulls together and cheers each other on. It is an amazing environment and the owner, Ruben, is phenomenal. All of the coaches are so encouraging and even check in on social media to keep the momentum going! Highly recommend this if you want results and encouragement.

Row House in West Frisco is hands down the best! The price is very comparable to other class based facilities in the area but the staff is what makes this place feel like home. The owner is very interactive and the front office ladies are always super friendly. THE COACHES are my favorite! They make the experience feel like you are apart of a team and the more effort we put in individually helps the team get further. The app that comes with your membership is fun to play around with and track your accomplishments. I have brought several friends and they have all signed up for different types of memberships to fit their schedule.

Great, welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed my workout. Low impact on the joints, but as high of intensity as you desire. Pushed me. A good mix of ages and genders. I felt at home.

I tried Row House because I had rowed throughout high school. After the first class, I knew I had to come back. The workouts are great. The place is very opening to anyone and everyone. The coaches are very motivating and want to push the crew as a whole. After your workout, you will get an overview of how you did and how close you are to the next goal. If you’re competitive like me, you’ll want to reach that goal ASAP! I have done 2 classes in a row and while my body was tired, I did not feel impact on my joints. I highly encourage you to come check it out!

The staff here is fantastic- I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. Started class and felt like special consideration was made to get me oriented and make me feel included. This one of the friendliest/upbeat gyms I have ever entered. And the workout was no joke. GET THERE!

I love Row House! I usually don’t like to work out but tried rowing and I’m hooked! The workout is challenging but goes by quick and you feel great after. You truly get a whole body workout. The staff and coaches are great at keeping you motivated and energized through the workout as well as diligent at making sure you row with proper form. I would recommend anyone try it at least once to see if you get hooked too!

Beware of cancellation and hold policies. Make sure you give 30 days notice even when account is on hold. I was given wrong information from one of their employees and it cost me 2 months worth of membership fees. I could slam them for it- give 1 star rating, because I was that mad at the situation however after calming down. The facility was awesome, so were the staff and classes. I have nothing against the place other then I feel like I was ripped off due to lack of knowledge by an employee that gave me the info and performed the hold . Basically all I request if the owner is reading this is, that all your employees are aware of your policy and can explain it. I was told that after I paid for the upcoming month and she put it on hold as long as I called in before my hold date ended and said to cancel I would be ok. That wasn’t the case.

This is a great place to get a workout. Its not like gyms that are open exercise time -- the only option is classes. The classes are just the right length of time. They are also structured well to provide a good mix of different types of exercise.I cant run because of back and knee problems, and even riding an exercise bike makes my knees ache. But the rowing machines here havent given me any pain at all (except for sore muscles because rowing works muscles that I dont usually work). In spite of the pictures in their marketing materials, this is not a beautiful people only atmosphere -- the other students in my classes have included a variety of shapes and sizes (and Im not on the end of shape and size that I want to be yet 😉).Their app is very helpful for registering for classes and tracking your workout. So why only 4 stars? My only complaints are:1. At first the structure of the class made me feel pressured to push harder than is appropriate for my current fitness level. I have since learned that Im not the only one in that position, and there are multiple people in the class who are doing a scaled back version of things. In the best case the instructor even specifically described the alternate version (for example, putting one knee down during a certain stretch). I really appreciated that because it made me feel less awkward.2. Because they only offer classes, and they have 7 or so different types of classes, I find that the classes I want most arent offered at the times that are most convenient for me. I cant think of any solution to that, since they have limitations of space and time and obviously everybody has different schedules -- but its something to keep in mind. (For my part I happen to have a flexible enough work schedule that Im able to take classes at acceptable-but-not-ideal times.)3. The cost 🙁. Admittedly I havent taken classes at a gym before, or ever had a regular gym membership, so I cant really say how the cost compares to other offerings. The introductory price of $13 per class is great for me, but the regular prices work out to $20 - $30 per class for me and the frequency Im able to go. And to get the lower end of the price range I have to sign up for auto-pay that has to be cancelled 30 days in advance. Again, Im not qualified to say if this is a reasonable price relative to other options -- but its a non-trivial price for me personally.
