This is not a place which welcomes everyone. The host and the stylists were very rude. They gave my spot to some who just walked in and I clarified with that guy - he did not had an appointment. Once I clarified the stylist was pretty rude and he gave me a 4 min long haircut. Avoid this place - go to high end salon or just go to great clips.

Simply put: they will probably do a good job at taking care of your hair styling needs. I always ask for a barber because they are generally very consistent in quality for a good price. On my last visit, I had made an appointment that was not written down, resulting in an hour of my time wasted with nothing to show for it. I will use this company again, but will try out other options before attempting Floyds on Main.

Overall a great place with a great vibe. Some of the stylist seem frazzled, but it is frantically busy and Im sure the stylist feel rushed, despite their enthusiastic attitudes.My son likes this one barber that does a remarkable job when he feels like it. When my son had 15 of spiral curly hair chopped off, he was in a rush and left the top in an awkward dinner plate on the head look. Too much, detail, I know...but it was a monumental moment with a huge let down because the stylist just blew it off.

This is the place to get boys haircuts! We love Sara and Jason. Sara cuts my autistic sons hair and she does a great job (on the hair and with him). Highly recommend. Reasonably priced for a GOOD cut.

I have been into this Floyd’s several times and it is very hit or miss for me. When I can get a cut, its usually a good cut, but I have been called for my turn several times in the past just to be sat back in the waiting area because the stylist can’t give a close fade. I am usually able to get my hair cut after some additional waiting, but most recently I couldn’t even get a cut after an hour wait because they “didn’t have a barber in.” Number one, if you work at a barber shop, you should know how to give a fade. Number two, what kind of barber shop has no barbers on shift? Maybe you should ask what someone needs done before they wait an hour to find out they can’t even be helped.

Had a ton of hair and needed a good cut since today was my graduation ceremony. Was a bit scared because I really could not get a bad cut today. However, Phillip F. delivered perfectly. Had a great chat with him while getting my cut and was out in 30 mins. My parents relatives and friends were complimenting me on how the haircut suits me. Thank you Phillip!!!

Went here after the last placeade my hair look like a female bob cut. The guy who cut my hair did a good job of making it look less girlish. He said if I do not like it there nuave a 7 day guarantee to get a free re-cut.

Sting was an amazing barber. Took care of my special needs brother with no issue. He was so caring and attentive. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who ask. Will definitely come back and continue requesting him personally.

I used to go to Floyds all the time for a head shave and beard trim. Unfortunately the service I got just started to go downhill over the years. People werent as friendly, the service wasnt as thorough. I also would have to keep finding a new guy because they kept leaving. As a guy who really tries to take care of his beard I really only want another guy with a beard touching mine. But in a female dominated industry that can be hard to find. Especially at Floyds. So Id given the ladies an opportunity a time or two only to walk away with a lot less beard than I wanted and/or mediocre service. This last visit was a chance at redemption but unfortunately the gentleman I got to take care of my beard was not very friendly, didnt do what I expected, didnt cover my whole beard, was the fastest (not in a good way), and charged me more than Id been charged in the past for the same service. I wont be returning again.

Ive been going to Floyds on and off for a few years now and I can honestly say that I just now got the BEST haircut of my life. Someday Ill learn my lesson. Stop letting females touch my hair. It doesnt end well for my hair, ever. Now I gotta let it grow out till I can ask another barber to fix it. To be clear, it wasnt horrible it just very definitely wasnt what I asked for.

Floyds 99 on Main Street is one of the best out there! Front of house staff are ALWAYS welcoming and professional. If you are looking for any type of fade/skin-fade I highly recommend seeing Sting, he pays close attention to detail and does amazing work every time. I’ve gone here for a few years now after a horrible experience at a sports clips, I realize now it’s much better to pay a little more and go to a barber. I’ve gotten haircuts from lots of the barbers, every single haircut has been great, they’re very good and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a good priced amazing haircut then this is definitely the place to go.

After recommendation from a friend, went with Sid and he was on point for the Fade for me and my 4 yr old. It was my sons first grown up haircut and Sid was comforting and friendly to make him feel comfortable. Very down to earth. The place was clean and getting cleaned continuously. Highly recommend the place but even more so, Sid.

Really great place to get your haircut. Here are two tips to getting through the sometimes long lines ( Worth the wait). Do a call ahead if you can, that way when you walk in your wait is minimal. The best days to come are in the Middle of the week is best in my opinion. I love the atmosphere the music and the smell of the different Floyds hair products. They have many folks that are great at trimming beards and facial hair but its best to set an appointment for that.

Sid has been doing my sons haircut for months and always does a GREAT job. Very attentive to him and makes him feel like a grown up. I also love that Sid really understands different hair types. My son has extremely fine hair and every other stylist before had never cut his hair right.Great price, fun atmosphere, but truly I come back for the amazing job done on my kids hair.

Floyds is always consistent kind and top-notch service! I am picky with my hair as it doesnt like to cooperate and with little instruction, they kill it every time and go above and beyond, finishing with a nice single razor trim - very refreshing!! I asked for a fade then one if the employees gave me a all around same length haircut with no fade. My head now looks like a bean. 100% would not recommend if your looking for a solid haircut.

Floyd’s 99 barber shop is a GREAT barber shop! Everyone is so friendly and kind. They take requests for haircuts and after your hair is cut they wash it, use a warm towel to put on your face to relax you and then after that, a mini massage. They do child haircuts and even give your child a little treat before they leave. (Adults can take some too, no one is judging😜) The place is full of decorations and barbers who keep you entertained while they cut your hair! You can call up to 7 days ahead to schedule an appoint enemy with a certain person otherwise you can walk right in and get a haircut relatively quickly. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because of the SUPER LOUD music that they play which makes talking in the phone to schedule an appointment INCREDIBLY HARD! And just being in the building makes it hard to talk to one another. I would recommend this to others because even though there is loud music, it is worth the GREAT haircut!

I got one of the word haircuts I’ve ever gotten a couple days ago. The fade is definitely not a fade, my hair looks more like a lego cap now and border line resembles a bowl hair cut. My first hair cut after quarantine and it looks like my 10 year old could have done it. Rushed. Not styled after cut to ensure cut was right. Disappointing

Got the worst haircut EVER -- Literally ever. I dont expect much when I go to these franchise shops but this one certainly takes the cake. Within a few hours after I left, my hair looked worse than before I came in.The cut lacked any real form, style or anything. All the hairs started getting out of place, it was all uneven. Even the back wasnt properly done. I wont be going back to this location and likely will not be going to any Floyds again.

JD was GREAT! My son is almost 10, and has super thick, straight hair that wants to do nothing but fall forward into his eyes. We’ve been trying for years to find a haircut that will work for him. In seconds, JD looked at the shape of his head and face, and his crazy cow-licks, and knew what haircut he needed. And he was RIGHT! Best haircut for him EVER! And the best part is that it takes like 30 seconds to style, and he showed my son how to do it all himself. I am a forever fan now!

So this is my third time visiting since I moved to the litrle elm area. It will also be my last. I always get the exact sMe haircut, medium skin fade and the top cleaned up.We today following my cut I went to pay too which I was charged $30. Before I paid I asked why it was more. The girl with rainbow colored hair replied, thats the price. I said that I had been here few times now and before that I frequented the mckinney location and everytime before I was charged $25. I always tip the additional 5 so it wasnt a big deal. Until a stylist walked up and said a skin fade takes more skill so we charge more.Everytime befoee the stylist used a straight razor to skin fade the cut. The gentleman today used a electric trimmer. Pardon me here but that took less skill. 9 secs of trimmer=$5. But fine, I paid and left.Got home and the first thing my girlfriend points out is uneven hairs and my sides are uneven. SKILL.I wont be back. And thats a shame because I loved this place.

After getting my haircut, I quickly realized that a whole inch of my hair above my part was shaven off. Also, my hair is not faded correctly. Although the barber was nice, the outcome was terrible. This haircut is a nightmare. I would not recommend this location or chain to anyone.

First off, this is the 3rd Floyds Ive been to due to following my stylist around. I have never had a complaint at any of them. I am so glad I can book an appointment now as a male. I have a beard and I dont do a normal hair style, and they allow me to book an hour. I drive 45 minutes OUT of my way just to get a great haircut and beard trim. I have referred friends and family and will continue to do so! Thank you Kelsey for being so awesome!

If you want a super cuts with a hipster/rock flair, this is your place. You’d expect a “barber shop” with “barbers” to know what a mid fade is at the bare minimum, but when prompted with what I wanted, the man was confused as to what I asked for. Hair cut was less than 10 minutes and that’s a damn shame. It seemed like he was more focused on turning chairs than actually paying attention to detail. I’m very detail oriented, especially if I’m paying $25 for some mediocre fade. For all my guys who take pride in their fades take your business elsewhere because this is not your spot.

This is the last time I will get a haircut here. I paid $65 for two botched haircuts and a beard trim. My brother had to go get another haircut because his hair looked that awful. I also paid $15 for a beard trim, which is a complete rip-off, as he spent a total of 3 minutes lining it up. I couldve easily done it myself if I knew it was going to be that much for basically no work at all. This place worries more about cutting as much hair as possible rather than actually making it look good.

The prices are affordable, but completely messed up my hair cut. I asked for something, but ended up getting some BS! It usually take 10 to 15 to do my hair, but the guy at this place just did it in 5 minutes. I wouldnt recommend going to this place.

I like most of my haircuts there, but the last 4 times I’ve been they give me an undercut when I ask for my hair to be straight cut. Store is trying to fix the issue I’m having and they are open during a terrible time. Thought I’d update this.

I go here every 2 weeks even though it’s not the closest location to my house because Tanya is by far the most amassing hair stylist I’ve ever had. She’s laid back, cool, very good at what she does and does and is extremely funny. I have a blast every time I go to get my hair cut.

Ive had a lot of good experiences at other Floyds locations, but when I went to this location, I sat down and the barber was inattentive and rushing. He ran the razor so quick through my hair that it snagged three different times, didnt ask how I liked my sideburns or neck, and didnt thin my hair out, despite my asking for it three times. All in all, I was in and out in 9 minutes, but still had to pay the $25 for a full haircut service. Id advise anyone to look at the location on Floyds, they do much better.

They are pretty systematic. You first have to make an appointment (well, its preferred). I say this because I just showed up for a cut and kind of threw them off. The have 3 in-house Barbers and thats the main reason for appointments. My African hair is special, so i wanted a specific cut with an outline but, having no appointment the barbers were already gone. They were pretty straight up with me and i really appreciated their courtesy. Its a really cool looking place.

I went in as walk-in today. I saw a dozen ankle biters running around and they looked swamped. (I walked in at 12:45ish). I told them I’d prefer to get a haircut today if possible. They scheduled me at 2:00 pm with Mandy. I ran a couple of errands and then came back at 2:00 pm. I waited maybe 8-10 minutes and then Mandy took me to her chair. I’m fairly easy going with haircuts and just told her what I wanted and needed. (Mainly I needed my hair to stop resembling Netflix Jessica Jones mother but I didn’t tell her that) She was easy going and laid back. I loved how she knew how and what needed. I’ll definitely be a regular client of Mandy. I also really dug the decor as it’s completely music driven and I loved seeing punk music as part of it! Super happy with this place and Mandy...

Ive been here 3 times simply because my normal stylist was unavailable and I needed to get a cut somewhere convenient. Ive tried 3 different stylists & havent really been impressed with any of them. It looks & costs like a premium place, but Ive felt like I was at a discount spot every time.. Im rushed through like cattle & no real attempt to make me a regular customer. Its also usually quite loud inside even when not that busy.I kept trying because now my stylist is a 45min drive and this is only 20min, but nothing here has impressed me except that it looks cool.
