Sabrina has been doing my husband and sons hair for years. They wont go anywhere else. She knows exactly how they want their haircuts.

She always closes at least an hour early so dont pay attention to what the hours of operation are on Google. And when she is available, she does a so-so job. Just go somewhere else, this place isnt exactly proper.

I’ve been to Proper Cuts twice and both times have been on a Sunday afternoon. The first time there was a bit of wait and I needed cash, so I left. When I came back, there was no wait. The second time I had to wait a little under 10 minutes. Haircuts are $9! Really satisfied with the price and the quality of the cut so I will be going back.

Worst haircut I have had. First of all I went here because its close to where I live and it had good ratings.So I go in with a picture of what I wanted. I have been getting this hair cut for years. A fade on the sides and leave the top untouched. The older guy said he understood. He didnt know what he was doing. He cut the middle of the top of my hair and He left the fade line detached it looked bad. I tried to explain what I wanted, but he kept moving my fade line up higher and not blending. I finally said enough. Luckily the woman stylist was there and told me she could fix it which she did what she could after what he did. Not going back there

With all the competing shops around, Proper Cuts is by far my favorite. No need to explain myself every single section.

I dont mean to bomb the rating but this lady obviously doesnt know how to cut Asian guys hair. I definitely told her to cut off 1.5 inch from my top and front of my hair, but she just ended up cutting almost all of my hair. The place also requires cash only. Sorry but not going back again........

I had been using this place since 2002. Very small place, personal service, Not very crowded friendly place. Does not look high end but a great service. even my teen daughters were hesitant in the beginning - but were impressed by the service

Great place for a no-frills hair cut with no waiting and at possibly the cheapest place for a good hair cut in the Bay area. I have very simple needs for a hair cut and the friendly lady owner was efficient and proficient. Was done in 10 minutes and was charged $8.95 which I paid $11 in total including tips.Chatted briefly with her and she said that they have been there at this location for over 10 years. Was previously in a more central Fremont location. Definitely will be back and glad to have found a good, dependable barber shop for my hair cuts.

She cuts my hair exactly as I ask at a price below the chains, My kids also prefer Proper cuts.

We called and were told they dont do kids haircut?? Feels discriminatory to me when their sign posts kids hair cut fee. The person literally hanged up after not being able to explain why she is refusing service....

Cheap? I wouldnt call it cheap, but it is a very low cost for a haircut.Id call it a good value. Yes, it is cheap.Plenty of parking in parking lot across the street.
