I visit Fremont often for work and typically try to get a haircut before a work trip. This past March I ran out of time and found this place and gave it a tryI was pleasantly pleased. The people are nice and they were able to seat me right away on a Wednesday at 1pm. There shop looks old but comfortable and prices are high (compared to my East coast place) but aligned to the area.

Just got my hair cut here like 30mins ago. The guy who cut my hairs name is also Steve. Very cool guy. My hair came out great. Im happy. Came here cause a co-worker recommended it to me. Everyone seemed real cool. Ill definitely recommend this place and be back myself.

These gents are courteous and have taken care of me for a few years now. I felt it was time to leave a review to show them appreciation. If you want a local barber shop with a Fremont Vibe this is the place to go. No Frills nothing fancy just a good haircut at a good price.

Moved to the bay area a year ago and have been to 6 + barbershops for the right high and tight. All shops in Fremont and Newark failed consistently. Finally find a shop that does it right every time. Cool bunch of guys too.

If you are looking for a great Fade Cut, this is the place to go. Most barbershops fail to do even a simple fade. You can tell them specific of what you want and they do it and perform well. The scenery inside the shop is also really classic and if you like that its great. There are people in there often so you just have to wait for like an hour for a cut. Thats all. Overall its a 5 star for people who really cares about their hair.

I went there for the first time not too long ago,. I should have started going here years ago! This is a old school barber shop that actually knows how to give a good fade/ haircut. The prices may be a little higher than others but its worth it if you want a great cut. Stop messing around with places like sports cuts, Schroeders and super cuts your just wasting your time and money go to Ricks.

Great people very talented & specific which I appreciate greatly. After years of going from one barber to the next in the Fremont/Newark area I finally found a great reliable place to cut my sons hair. They take their time and ask questions while they cut to make sure its how you expect & they remember the details. Anyway, great friendly group of guys. Hands down clean cuts everytime.

I am new to Fremont and the Bay Area so I am not sure what to expect as far as products and services costing more than the rest of California. I was shocked that a regular haircut costs $21. No shave, no shampoo, just a quick haircut. The shop is a little run down and the chairs are gray and dirty.

Great place for a haircut.The place is clean, open and has a nice feel to it. More importantly, people are experienced and patient and will give you exactly what is needed.

Place sucked hair cut was like going to cost cutter or great clips. Alex barber shop or fastliners way better.
