I wrecked my vehicle on the weekend, after the wreck happened, the tow truck driver wanted me to clean up my scene from my accident. I was in shock and wanted to be a good civilian. Two days pass by before i could get my belongs from the vehicle. As i looked at the receipt, they charged me $250 clean up fee when I was the one that did the cleaning on the highway. I also asked the lady in the front if I could have someone take the car. She told me that they don’t work with anyone unless they have verified insurance from another towing company. They told me they would take the car without any payment. This is a big scam that they are running. With a pandemic going on they don’t care about anything but money. If you wreck in the area, do not contact this towing company. They just want your money and wrecked car.

Absolute Highway Robbery. This company charged me nearly $700 to tow my wrecked car 4 miles and store for two days since they are closed weekends. I am so disgusted at the gross exploitation Of drivers in need. I amLodging a complaint with the State police as well since they chose to contact them. Avoid them at all costs!

Great family owned facility. Highway Garage tows & repairs Heavy Commercial (semis) equipment and buses. They have specialized in accident and breakdown recovery and repair for decades. They are a 24/7/365 operation.

Great customer service!! The police impounded my car from the side of 95 when it broke down on me. It was several days before I could get back to the area with a trailer to pick it up. I explained the situation and they reduced my bill and helped us get it on the trailer because it wouldn’t start. Top notch crew! Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and helpful! Turned my situation into a better one.

Highway garage overcharges horribly because they think the insurance companies paying the bill my bill should have been around $700 total talking to the other professional wrecker companies, highway garage charged me $2,823 do not use this company they are a ripoff, my bill had another vehicle on it that didnt even belong to me but they wouldnt straighten the bill out.

I hate ordering to go and getting home and the order is messed up. The chips I ordered were beyond stale. I was so disappointed because I was looking forward to them.

Allie, the receptionist, was so helpful and Justin and his team are fantastic. Justin is what I call a Second Miler. He always goes the Second Mile to explain everything and was very helpful in reviewing everything that had to be done on my car. A very professional staff that does great work!

Dont remember going here but these guys are great,they take care of the big rigs when they need a tow

GREAT SERVICE! I work for a large company that used this shop for a major breakdown. They were very friendly and got us the information we needed. Couldnt have gotten through the night without them!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. This company charged us $1600 for towing and $150 per day (2) days for storage. They towed less than 8 miles which I couldn’t understand why the bill was so high. I asked the lady at the front desk for a detailed receipt/statement of charges and the owner told her to tell me it was none of my da** business. Very rude and unprofessional. They intentionally waited until near close of business to allow us to get our vehicle hoping we weren’t able to get it towed out so they could charge us an additional day for storage. Please take my advice and dont do business with this company.

The work is done fast and right the first time

They charged us over $900 to tow a totalled vechile and store it protected under a tarp. Said they would sue us if we didnt pay. The car wasnt even worth a fraction of what they charged us. I asked for them to work with us, lower the ridiculously high costs, have compassion on our son who is a full time student and makes only 3k/yr. Even asked for a payment plan so our son could pay bill. Was told the bill would teach him a lesson. I understand paying bills, paying for a service but $900+ is highway robbery.

Highway garage is a great family owned business I have dealt with them for many years and always go above and beyond to make sure when you leave you vehicle is safe and reliable the road service and wrecker service guys are very nice and do everything they can to help you out of every situation.

15 May 2014 - we needed a tow truck to recover my wifes vehicle from a ravine w/water. I called and was greeted with the most courteous operator and received the same courteous treatment from the tow truck driver. Cant say anything but WODERFUL things about this company. They also are taking her car to the body shop today. The Hodge Team is great!!!!!!

Very nasty staff guy was driving a large blue rig 376wt hf121260 and couldnt back up his rig with the load. He became very frustrated and irate throwing his hands up and blocking traffic.Than made an opening and pulled forward (we had been waiting for him to complete his manuver) when we tried to go around him (he was traveling foward) he blared the horn and yelled obsineties slammed on the breaks and decided to reverse, and made us wait.Unprofessional

This place is a real joke and I dont understand why they are still in business. I had a motorcycle accident and my bike was towed by them. 49 days later I received a letter in the mail from the D.M.V. advising me that a lien was going on my bike for non payment. I called the insurance company (Geico) who has been fantastic, the assured me the bill was paid and they were right. These people think they can go under the radar saying this is standard procedure and it must have taken 48 days for the mail to get to me then she hung up on me. The driver was polite and courteous and worked fairly quickly to assist me late at night in crappy conditions. The company, however, is crap. They charged me $575 to yank a car that still had two wheels on pavement out of a tiny ditch and tow it 3.8 miles. Their name should be Highway Robbery Garage.I had no choice but to take the tow and spend the money as the car was blocking traffic on what was already a horrible mess due to the snow. But they knew I had no choice and they really took advantage of me.I was told by other people on the scene that I need to call and complain to the sheriffs department as they arent supposed to charge over $450.If you need a tow and the police ask you if you have a preference of which company they call - tell them that your preference is anybody but these people.

Dont use this place the tow truck driver told me that I would be a $150 I go to pick up the vehicle and it $440 they are crooks and liars

Worst towing company ever!!!!!!! rude to the driver & want to take advantage of the situation, didnt want to charge my credit card because I wasnt there & didnt want to charge my drivers card because the truck isnt on his name. Gave me such a hard time to get my truck back! YOU GUYS SUCK!

This advice and message is for my truckers friends; read careful .. If you break down or have an accident near stafford, va ..DO NOT call Highway Garage tow service, .. They are robbers, will ripped you off and you are going to lose your truck .. They charged me $ 2800 only for 10 miles and $ 150 for each day of keeping my truck there .. Stay away from them. / This warning is for my truck driver friends, if you have mechanical problems or an accident with your truck near Stafford, go .. Dont even think of calling Highway Garage Tow Service, they are thieves, and cheeky. They charged me $ 2800 just for moving 10 miles to their garage and $ 150 for one day. Get away from them and pass the warning to whoever you can.
