This place was recommended by a friend for a mani/pedi. I made a 12:15 appointment. I arrived at 12:00 but my service didnt begin until 12:45. In their defense, it was very busy but I had hoped as an appointment holder I would have preferential status. My basic pedicure was fine. I was then passed on to another technician for my full acrylic set with gel polish. It was also okay as you can tell by my photos. Some of my nail shapes are off center (like my middle finger).It was an okay experience but I was hoping for much more - customer/employee interaction, recommendations, and an overall more appealing atmosphere.

This is definitely not a spa, more like a typical nail place. The quality of the service was good but not sure it was equal to the cost

Its been 48 hours since i got my nails done here and they still have not dried!!! the nail stuff they used to cut my nails or even apply the nails was dirty as hell and they didn’t clean it at all. she got mad because i didn’t tip although the quality of the nails was not worth the $40 acrylics. i have never had nails so ugly before and even had to go waste more money to get a clear coat to fix the nails she couldnt do. 0/10 #terrible!!!!!!!

Recently got a manicure and spa pedicure from Teresa and they turned out great!! She had great attention to detail and everything was very clean. This will definitely be my new salon can’t wait to go back!

I went for a spa pedicure today and it was amazing. Nice professional staff and very clean salon. I will say the two times I have been there they ran a bit behind on time. Well worth the wait and look forward to going back.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The unprofessionalism is truly appalling. I wanted an acrylic set and when I called the woman lied about the price then in the middle of doing my nails she asked me to pay early and it was twice the price that she initially told me. The shape was done poorly and she didn’t push back or cut my cuticles before starting so the base looks unnatural. Lastly, and this is my biggest problem, the nail tech I had placed me under the dryer and left while I was there! She didn’t communicate to me or anyone else that she was leaving she just packed her things and left. I know she didn’t just forget about me either because she made eye contact with me as she was walking out the door and to her car. I’m beyond disgusted and completely frustrated by this ordeal. I was looking to have a good fresh set but it’s the total opposite.

Nice people, good service, but the waxing did not get all the hair off, probably the least complete out of any place I have gone for Brazilian and I have been getting waxed for years. Had to ask for tweezing. I appreciate not wanting me to burn with too many wax applications, but for the price I expect a complete job. Pedicure was good until the work on the cuticles, ended up getting a big cut along the edge of one of my nail beds which started stinging afterwards. I didn’t actually notice it right away because the massage felt good. It got really inflamed for 3 days and calmed down by day 5 afterwards. They have great reviews and a lot of staff, the place looks amazing and has an adorable kids area, so I am sure they are doing a good job, but I wish I had a better experience for the price.

I messaged Rose Nails on Facebook and was able to make an appt on Sunday (even though they were closed) for first thing Monday morning.They were so kind and patient and listened - and then confirmed back to me - what I was looking for.Ive been coming here for about a year and have never had a bad experience!

We were last minute walk in for 2 pedicures and they squeezed us in. Definently make an appointment because they get booked! The pedicures were amazing! I almost fell asleep 10 times it was so relaxing. Saving this place as my new go to.

What I like best about this nail salon is the atmosphere. For pedicures the bowls that you put your feet in are beautiful and you don’t face other pedicure stations. Lights aren’t too bright. Two pedicure stations for girls that my daughters have loved... Everyone has always been kind and done a great job here whenever I’ve visited.

Reliably relaxing, competent and pleasant experience. All of the staff know their stuff. Just had a pedicure--it was heavenly. Plus they have a private room for mens pedicures. Now if I could only convince my husband! Fair pricing as well.

Best nail salon in Frederick! Was pleasantly surprised when walked in, it’s very beautiful and clean inside. Everyone has been friendly and they are great with kids also (including Hello Kitty pedicure chairs). It’s best to have an appointment which stinks if just want to drop in, but also means they are good and everyone loves them = busy.

Worth every penny! Gel nails last 2-3 weeks, the techs are all wonderful and the inside is beautiful. PS, they have a great selection of nail colors.

I found this place online and was seriously glad I tried it!!!:) I took my twin 5-year-old girls and they had the cutest pink kitty spa chairs, and the staff was absolutely amazing with them:) We will definitely be regulars at Rose’s Spa!!!

While this nail salon is ok, I would NOT recommend Marley. Like another post mentioned, she is very unprofessional and arrogant.

I made an appointment but had to wait 20 minutes before I was seen. On top of that, I got a get manicure and they didn’t do a very good job of painting my nails near the cuticle or on the side. I felt like the lady was not very attentive to making sure my nails looked their best. I will probably not be back. Also, you cannot tip from your card. So make sure you have cash if you’re going to tip...

This is my absolute favorite of all the salons Ive tried in the Frederick & Urbana area. The technicians are friendly, the selections of scrubs is wonderful, and the tools are always clean - a very important fact in my book! They can recommend the perfect color for an occasion just from a picture of an outfit. Im completely sold, and will make the 20 minute drive to come here, passing other salons on my way.

Very nice staff. I got gel nails and my nail tech did a horrible job getting it to my cuticles and getting the right size of my nails. They look horrible. Now I have to come back and get all of my nails fixed because literally all of them have flaws.

Now I can’t find another nail salon like it & honestly will drive a few hours just to be around these ladies! I had rosemary recently and she did an amazing job on my nails!We also came for a group session for my sister in laws wedding for nails and every tech did amazing.I have no idea how anyone could review them negatively!Go here and you won’t regret it!

I had a WONDERFUL experience here today.I called to see if they accepted walk-ins (which they do) But instead of just saying yes and hanging up, the person who answered the phone made sure I had an appointment before we reached the end of my call! That’s some really smart thinking, that way upon arrival you have your technician and you’re not waiting and things rolls really smooth after that.I am so happy I did make the appointment bc Jenny did an amazing job! I have been dealing with Teresa for over 6 years. She was my go to person. I have tried several salons over the years. This is my last visit with them. Time to move on. She is late for appointments. She is constantly answering phones while doing my nails. This makes her work sloppy. I am really sad that After this visit that I wont be back. I have had to have a seat and wait 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Your time is not more important than mine. Your prices keep going up, every time I go its a different amount. Dont get suckered into the 5% off for cash. The amount is different every time. They took away the incentive card but didnt lower any prices. Parking is a nightmare. The plus side is that it is a very clean salon.

Two stars for decor and atmosphere. Worst pedicure I’ve ever received. I tried telling my tech my feet were still rough after paying extra for the callous to be removed (which I’ve never heard of when you get a “spa pedicure” from other salons) but she didn’t understand me and laughed at me. I also told her I was prone to ingrown toenails and she cut my toenails so poorly that I got the worst ingrown toenail of my life which then got infected. I am so disappointed in this place as I’ve read so many great reviews and have been trying to get an appointment for months. The person I was with said the same - her feet were so rough after the pedicure. If it was just me I would figure the tech had an off day, but for two of us?! Maybe this is a place just for nails and not pedicures.

I came I today for the first time, and Trang did my eyebrows. Holy oh my God not only was she super sweet and gave me a great experience, but this is the best my brows have ever looked, hands down. No ones ever worked this kind of brow magic for me before, and I cant reccomend her enough. Thanks again!

I made an appointment to get my nails done before my bachelorette party. I got there a few minutes early and they asked me to take a seat. 20 minutes went by and no one acknowledged me, but they were taking other customers. I have other things planned and couldnt wait any longer and had to walk out. The salon looks very nice and Im sure they do great work, but I am very disappointed in their customer service. Ive never had to wait so long to get my nails done, especially with an appointment :(

A little pricey but worth it when you consider the time they take on your nails, and the excellent shape my nails stay in for weeks after. I work with young kids and my manicure still stays in tact!

Went in today without an appointment and was automatically greeted very pleasantly, and told to pick a color for my acrylic set. As soon as I was done picking my color I was sat with Chi. Such a very sweet woman. I like to think of myself as shy and awkward but she made me feel so comfortable, referring to me by my name, asking questions to get to know me, and just having small talk.I know some people are turned off by salons that the nail technicians pretty much ignores you and talks to the other nail techs in a language you cant understand (something that has never bothered me, but I know its an issue) This salon is not like that. From what I could see the other nail techs were in full conversation with their clients.Also during my drying time I was offered water, and Chi even brought my stuff over for me to ensure that my nail polish would not be damaged.I will be going back in a few weeks! Love this place, and loved the outcome of my nails :]

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!! DONT GO THERE! I had my nails done the night before a wedding that I was in. The next morning I woke up and the white from my french manicure had chipped off completely on 4 of my nails. When I went in Vanessa (who claims she is not the owner) told me she could fix it AFTER the wedding. She would not give me even a portion of my money back. Horrible, Horrible service, dont waste your money!!!!!
