I only had to wait 5ish minutes to get started on my nails. I originally called the day before and asked for an appointment for just full set acrylics which were 32. But later when i got there he asked me to choose a color and i guess i chose a gel nail color?? I dont really know but when I went to pay it was 42 because apparently it was gel acrylics. im not too mad about it because the nails turned out really good but i wish they told me it was 42 before. other than that it wasnt as professional but the end result was really good. i feel like on some nails he couldve used more glue because it feels like it couldve been stronger.

I have been going to Gorgeous Nails for about 20 yrs now, at least since I moved within a mile from this salon (its hard to believe that Ive lived in this home for that amount of time)! I have always been happy with how they are able to keep their professionalism all the while treating you like family! Im always surprised how much they know about my family. If your looking for a long-term salon where you treated like a family member then this is the salon you want to be at! Recently remodeled to keep up with the changing times and the nail tools are ALWAYS sterilized between each of the customers. As long as I live in this area I will continue going to Gorgeous Nails!!! ❤️

Stopped here on Saturday bc I was out of town and needed a fill. Originally, I liked my nails. They have good bones here but technique must be off because I later noticed that one of my nails had a lump of nail polish. By the yesterday morning, a good piece of it had come off. Gel nail polish at my regular salon lasts me at least 3 weeks and hardly even chips or peels at all, even when I push it to 3 weeks. I think they layered way too much and dont use enough top gel coat. 😫 When I go back to my normal nail guy in PA, Im never gonna hear the end of this one!

I heard from this place from a friend and they are awesome! My daughter and I got our nails done and they were super nice, professional, and clean! Definitely would recommend this place!

So far, I think Ive cycled through trying all the nail artists and they are good, including the two gentlemen that work there. Gentle, friendly and clean luxurious space. Big flat screen tvs and my favorite are the massage chairs for when you have pedis.

I just moved to Frederick and checked out Gorgeous Nails today and Anh did a great job! I got a dip mani and a regular pedi. I will definitely be returning!

My daughter comes to this salon and she loves it! The guy that does her nails is alway very nice and he take his time and alway does an amazing job. Definitely will continue to come here!

This place is wonderful! The staff are nice and personable and truly care that youre getting what you want. The price might seem high but it is on point for the level of service and care that you receive. I will definitely be coming back!!

This place is amazing! 3 of us went getting manicures and pedicures. They scheduled us for an appointment for 4:30pm on a Sunday even though they close at 5. We were worried about the quality being rushed but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations! Although they had to stay late, they were professional, kind, and very funny! The place was clean, the atmosphere was inviting, their work is fantastic, and I cannot stress enough how lovely the nail techs are. This is definitely our new nail spot!

New Clients are not welcomed!! I scheduled an appt at 2:15pm for 6/21. I arrived at 2:10pm and was vaguely greeted. At 2:30pm I was not seated but an established customer with her daughter and grand daughter were greeted and chatted by staff. At 2:40pm a gentleman asked if I had picked out my colors yet and that he would get the water ready. At 2:45pm I was told that they couldn’t do a pedicure and manicure because they had other clients. Please note, I have never gone to this place before or gotten my nails done in Frederick since I moved here. I was trying to establish a go to nail place but I guess they don’t want new customers. Don’t go if your a new potential client. You and your time is not valued here.

Vu was very pleasant. Very gentle. And attentive to the exact color I requested. The service ended with a very nice moisturized hand massage.

I haven’t had a manicure in years since I’ve always worked retail, and done merchandising and shipment receiving, and I always ended up breaking a nail or chipping the polish, etc. BUT, i FINALLY got out of retail and start a new job working as an intake specialist in an office, so i decided to get a fresh look for my fresh start! I couldn’t have asked for a place with better customer service, and quality work! Gorgeous nails is the perfect name for this salon, because my manicure is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!Thank you so much to the staff! You all are amazing! I’ll be back soon! You have a customer for life!

This was my first time there. They were very nice and clean however I have gotten a full set and not even a week and the acrylic is lifting off my nails and I have air bubbles. I almost never write a bad review to any place. Like I said they were very nice but the quality of my nails are not worth the price they charged and I probably will not be going back.

I never write reviews but I don’t want you to waste your time and money!! I have given them numerous chances to see if they were a good nail salon. Very few days I walked out with decent nails most of the time, however, I walked out with nails I didn’t even want to pay for. It’s as if they don’t know what they are doing. The nails are always bumpy and never the length I want. In addition, they have increased their prices since reopening. Full sets have went from starting at $25 to $32. I understand the need to increase price, but my experience was not worth $32 at all!! I’m never going back.

I have been going there for over 10 years and Lynn is who does my manicure and pedicure. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. Lynn does a beautiful job and I wont go anywhere else.

I’ve visited this salon twice. The first time, (French with one red nail) I got a pedicure and a full set. I made an appointment and they got me in right away for my trip to Florida. Can I just say how amazing and friendly the staff was. I sat down & they offered me a drink, and my tech talked to me about my trip for Christmas. The TV was playing the news and one of the male techs asked me if I was watching it before he changed it to something different. It was very polite of him to ask before just doing it. I can’t remember the name of the tech who did my feet but she was amazing, very attentive to detail and my feet have never felt better. My nails were done by one of the male techs and he also did a great job. My nails looked so beautiful and they held up for over 2 weeks, being in the water and sand in Florida.I visited again (pink nails) on Thursday for a fill. I did not make an appointment but again, they took me right away. The tech was asking me who did my nails the first time. (there was some slight lifting of the acrylic on some of the nails) she was genuinely concerned and wanted to know if I was upset about how my nails held up. I reassured her that I’m very hard on my hands & the lifting didn’t bother me, I thought he did a great job. I have never had a nail tech at any salon be concerned about that. It seriously just made me love this place even more.So to end this lengthy review I will be a long time customer of this business. They are doing everything right.

I have been going to Gorgeous Nails for about 3 years now. I absolutely love the environment and the customer service!! The decor is top notch and the technicians are very skillful and super nice. I see Lynn majority of the time. She pays very close attention to detail and she cares about her clients. Lynn is also very hardworking and will come in early and stay late to insure she can accommodate a clients schedule. She is a very hard working, dedicated and talented technician/owner; to the point that she often misses lunch breaks in order to make sure clients are taken care of. I went in this past Friday for a dip manicure. I got someone that seemed new and that all of the employees were watching closely. I get people need to learn but this made me feel uneasy throughout the entire manicure esp when you notice it happening. Halfway through I had another employee tell me that since I got an actual manicure (cuticle cut and all) that my total was going to be $55 for a manicure and dip.. not sure why its called a dip manicure if you are going to pay more. And $55 is the most I have ever paid for a manicure esp because I didnt get tips! Very overpriced. Most places are $30-$40 that Ive gone to. The lady then dipped half of my nail in powder and I said something and she goes Ill coat the rest second round! with very great attitude. Again, feeling very uneasy again. She then proceeded to do the rest of my nails with a lot of frustration. Anyways, 5 days later and my manicure is already chipping and coming off. You can see the difference in the polish where the coats were put and it doesnt look professional at all. I paid a lot of money for this to already be coming off like that.I am not one to write reviews often but this experience was just awful!! I have always gone here for pedicures and eyebrows when I moved to the area but I will most likely never ever get my nails done again. And will never recommend if someone asks me where to go.Very very unhappy, especially for the cost.

I’ve been coming here on and off for years. I followed Nail tech Victor here from another shop(he has now relocated) but I continued to come here because of the cleanliness and selection of colors. The techs also work very hard and try to keep a positive aura in the shop. They offer water and are very attentive to your conversation (depending on the time of the day since they do work 7 days a week). Like any shop there’s room for improvement when it comes to customer interaction but not anything worth mentioning here. Overall my nails always look good when I leave. First off let me try to justify the poor nail job I just got by saying I was a walk in. Maybe their game was off because of this and they felt overwhelmed with the work. Even though it says walk ins welcome. I waited for 50 minutes before being seen. I RARELY get my nails done. Maybe twice a year. I wanted French powder dip and glitter on my ring fingers. I wanted them slightly longer then my natural Nails... slightly. I even showed a picture multiple times. After 2.5 hours I left with nails from early 2000’s. They were lumpy, uneven and THICK! They were at least as thick as two penny’s! Since I had to get home to my three young kids I just paid and went on my way. I tried to file them down on my own, but my file could not hold up. I ended up having to use a METAL callus remover (finger nail file on steroids) to trim and thin these! I am not one to write reviews. But I i was just so unhappy with this service.

New to the area and my daughter recommended them because she went the week prior to me coming. Very professional and warming as soon as you walk through the door. I met one of the ladies her name is Hang, Im getting a pedicure and manicure, shes amazing. The massage she did on my pedicure was amazing (and she didnt even know that I broke both my ankles a few yrs ago) not to rough or too soft like. Im giving you the best advice here: Ask for Hang! She will forever have a dedicated customer.

Salon and nail tech were very nice, however when I left the salon I realized my nails on one hand were shaped totally different than the nails on my other hand. My pinky toe was also missing half the polish. Within 2 days, one of my nails chipped. Probably because the tech kept filing them AFTER the polish was on. Guess they are not interested in obtaining new clients.

I have been to many different nail salons around Frederick but I believe I have finally found a salon I will go to regularly. I have went twice and both times all the employees have been so generous and kind. This time I had an apt with Lee. She was so kind and sweet. She took her time didnt rush like some and made sure I was always happy from asking me if I wanted a drink to asking me if the color was ok and if I likes it. She even gave me a hug when I left. I definitely recommend going to this salon. You will not leave unhappy.

I went to Gorgeous Nails for the first time last night and I couldnt be happier. My sister in law has been coming here for 15 years, ever since they opened, to see her wonderful Kim. I didnt have an appointment and they fit me in anyway so I could spend time with my new sister. Lynn gave me a manicure, she is amazing! So clean and gentle, no scraping, cutting or pinching my skin like other salons do. I am beyond pleased and will continue my nail care here.

Gorgeous nails is my go-to. The shop is clean, the staff is lovely, and they always do a great job! Very attentive to details and they carry a lot of options, especially with their pedicure that I usually can’t find at other places.

The pedi was awesome the lady cut my nails a little crooked but it didn’t bother me. The nails were a disaster. The guy that started mine has an appointment come in while he was putting on my tips so he started rushing through putting on my tips he hit my finger with the electric file and cut my hand he also cut the tips different lengths then sent me off to a seat to wait for someone to finish mine. The second guy followed the picture exactly which was pleasing but he also ended up hitting the same finger with the electric file cutting it even more he also filled the nails down messing up the shape and didn’t paint the nails evenly he also didn’t do a good job painting over the gems that were put on once again crooked and it’s been two days and 5 gems. I saw the great reviews for this place and wanted to try it out but sadly I don’t see what everyone loved.

Great reviews, but I never got a chance to use them because of horrible customer service. I called ahead and set up an appointment, the woman on the phone said to come in 10 minutes so I rushed to get there - showing up on time. I was asked to pick my color and wait just a minute. I asked if I could soak my feet since I was having a pedicure and was abruptly told no - there were five chairs empty. Thirty-five minutes go buy and I still wasnt sat for my appointment. Plus, others who were just sat for manicures where sat for their pedicures before me. I left. understand them wanting to cram as many people in as possible, but dont take an appointment you cannot make - its just a waste of my time.

This place is very clean, friendly environment. Vu did a tremendous job on my ombré nails. Hang did an excellent job on Vegan pedicure, I was so relaxed and comfortable,. Ann did an amazing job dipping powder nails for my teenage daughter and she was VERY pleased with her nails. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

Peeled off my gel nail polish with the edge of an acrylic nail. My nails are ruined....they’re thin, broken and peeling in places now. I don’t know how many months it’ll be before they recover to their original condition.

This was my first time in, I got dip powder I was told it was supposed to last 3 weeks. I had a nail fall off within 4 days which was fixed. Then 2 days later I lost 3 more nails. The guy that fixed them said the lady probably put the wrong coat on my nails but still didn’t fix them to make them last.

Old: We called same day and got fitted in for two pedicures. We had Lee and Vu they both were amazing. They were ready for us and offered drinks to us! Great pedicure and took good care in detail! We decided during pedicure to do eyebrows and they were more than flexible! Our toes look great as well as eyebrows!New: Okay I have been going here for awhile now and didn’t go to my normal tech. This lady tried to peel my acrylic nails off when I sat down and I told her they were arcrylic she got frustrated and started looking for her tools. I made an appointment for my seat and still was put in at 4th chair after people that got there after me were seated.Now I sat through my fill patiently and figured she must have an idea of what she is doing and ignored all of the extra stuff. When she was done I left kind of satisfied. When I looked down in the car I saw how bad it was. My nails look really really bad. You can see old layers of my nails from the previous fill with fade and grit, I have had 2 nails crack in half just days later, both down to my actual nail where the flesh is now exposed. These are the worst nails I have ever gotten and I am so frustrated and disappointed. I don’t think she does arcrylic and I wish they didn’t have me sit a her station. I have to have my full set removed and start over, On half since my nails are damaged so bad.

I came home for the holidays and had a sisters pampering day... Being obsessed with shellac mani/pedi, I was looking for the best price and good reviews. We stopped by another place and they wanted to charge $50 (theyd didnt even have it in their price list which leaves me to believe she made that up). I live in NYC and I pay less than that and sure not going to pay that much for a random place in Maryland especially being of petite size my toenails are actually smaller than my fingers (except the thumb toe). Anyways we left and decided to try this place out. The technicians here were so friendly, we talked the whole time. All their customers were known in a personal basis and they gave special attention to the older women. The had so many color options for the Shellac and it was done proper! If I am ever home again and need nail services, this will be the first place to come to!
