I had received a gift card here to this business so i tried it out i called around 2 to make an appointment for 5. Got there 4:45 to sit around and wait. While i was waiting the put walk ins in chairs before me . Around 5:30 i got in a chair the lady was very rough with me and had got mad when i asked her to be a little bit easier . I’ve been getting my nails done same length and style for year so when she finished some of the nails felt funny to the point the acrylic wasn’t completely on my nail . Not even a week later an entire nail popped off and took my actual nail off with it. So now i have to wait 6 months to even see if my nail actual nail will ever grow back

Its okay. In my opinion, this nail salon only caters to folks they know and who seem to be the right skin color. I arrived there after calling to inquire as to whether or not they could take a walk-in for a gel fill, of which they said yes. I arrived, no one acknowledged me until I spoke up and told them that I had phoned in earlier. They had a young lady remove my gel polish then told me that a tech was on his way to the shop to do my nails. I waited for approximately 30 minutes while ladies came in, with and without appointments, and were immediately acknowledged and serviced. When the tech arrived, he was courteous enough and did a decent job but he appeared bothered that my tip was small. I will not visit the shop again. And, I guess it doesnt even matter.

Pence and Lin gave me and my daughter the best pedicures ever! He did an awesome job getting the trash out from under my big toe and relief of the nail growing under with the clippers. The basic pedicure included a leg sugar scrub, good long soak and un- rushed massage and hot towels. I will return!

Would not go again. I made an appointment and was in early so that was good but then halfway through my manicure the lady left me to do a walkin eyebrow. I went in wanting a specific style and when I asked about it three different workers seemed confused by it so I ended up just getting a basic manicure instead.

Over all my experience is pretty great I’ve gotten 4 manicures and 2 pedicures, they’ve done a great job who I think is the owner has done my nails twice or 3 times, and has done an amazing job.

My friend and I made appointments at 11 on a Sunday for pedicures and I also wanted a manicure for myself. They took us back at 11 and we sat in the chairs only to wait for about 30 minutes before someone started working on our feet.After the pedicure, the guy wrapped my finger nails (I had gel on my fingers) and I said I just wanted regular polish this time like my toes. They ended up swapping people mid way through and someone else took over. I asked her if the polish she had was gel or regular and she said gel (this was a different bottle than what I picked out for my toes since someone else apparently wanted that color too...even though I was there before her and had an appointment). She told me it was gel and I let her know I wanted regular, not gel. She was very annoyed and tried to convince me to get gel - to which I said no, I just wanted regular.More people were showing up so she rushed through my nails to start working on them. Here we are the next day and 4 of my nails have already chipped. The woman who did my friends toes went too far, too, and now her big toe is red and throbbing.I have been going here for years, and the quality and service has really gone downhill in my opinion. I gave them one more chance this time, but this was my last time going here.They get really busy and I can totally understand wanting to see as many people as possible. But if that means you make people wait upwards of an hour and then just rush through their time to see someone else, then that just isnt worth my time or money. Maybe stop accepting every walk-in if you cant see them in a timely manner AND give quality service to everyone.

My daughter and I had an 11am appt for pedicures and fill ins. They sent us back to pedicure and I asked if it was going to be a wait and male owner said no the technicians are almost done. Well we sat in pedicure chairs for 30 min and then techs became avail, however, three other ladies were waiting in pedicure chairs for their services. What’s the point of having an appt? Won’t go back. Went to Lee nails instead and they were amazing and so meticulous.

First time here as a recommendation from a friend.I would not recommend this place for multiple reasons.**4/10 nails are chipped the day after receiving service**** friend received a counterfeit $10 as change**1) we had appointments for 2 gel manicures at 5. ONE was not started until 5:35.2) while the Ming was doing my nails I told her twice to please file & round the edges which she did not (still not)3) at one point during my French manicure there was white on the clear nail bed that I asked her to fix at least 4 times. I had to be. Little more stern on the 5th or so time & she fixed it & was clearly not pleased about it.NOT TO MENTION that they didn’t clean the skin around the nails. There was white all over my finger tips that I had to scrub off when I got home.4) no massage. No hot towel. No wrap up. Put oil on my hands at the end & just told me to wash my hands. I’ve never experienced that in my life.10/10 would not recommend.

I should have known it was going to be bad when I made the appointment. The guy answered the phone and said “Yes?” Didn’t say the name of the business...I wasn’t sure I was on the phone with the right place! Then I get there for my appointment and they have me sit down to pick a color. Then 3 other people walk in that say they also have an appointment and the lady helping me walked away and started doing their pedicures while I sat and waited. Didn’t say a word to me, just left. I would have walked out if it wasn’t a Saturday as I know everywhere else will be busy. That being said, my nails did turn out good in the end.

The tech was rude and made me wait 20 minutes before she started the pedicure. Three times I said the water too hot and she kept trying to put my feet into it. At the end, I decided to tip and she stayed in the back room yelling out thanks until someone told her to come out. I will never go there again. Also, my daughter had her tech leave the building for 30 minutes while she was at her station. This is so unprofessional!!

My appointment was at 1, and I didnt get taken back till 130, my tech was very rough, and cut me with the file several times. Everything felt rushed, she was very kind but I wont be returning.

This review is based solely on the manicure I received. The young gentleman that did my pedicure did a fabulous job and I would come back again to receive his service. However, the manicure I received was horrible. I went in requesting a French ombré with dipping powder and well, received this. If you’re unable to do it correctly, I would suggest not offering the service. I keep going here for convenience sake, but I rather take my money elsewhere.

I would give zero stars if i could. I don’t leave negative reviews, but I would hate to have someone waste their money here:( I’ve been getting acrylics for years and i’ve never had a worse experience than I did the other day! my nail tech was so aggressive while buffing my nails, she burned me and cut me many times. I asked for a specific shape that she unfortunately didn’t do after asking if she could fix them twice. They turned out to be all different sizes as well as being uneven and lumpy. I was told it would be $50 but my bill ended up being $60... wondering where that extra $10 came from. I had high hopes of this salon based on the reviews, so this is very unfortunate.

The lady who did my acrylic nails was too rough I left so sore and bleeding, not to mention the whole time she was doing my nails she was on the phone, it was very unprofessional and rude and I’mPretty sure my nails are infected. Don’t recommend.

Lynn is THE BEST! When Ive gone to other places, I am rushed through and most often find myself having to tell the tech to fix something or do something. Lynn is so professional and thorough. Shes so nice and does an amazing job every.single.time. I travel from hagerstown and it is beyond worth it and I will do it every time!

The woman as soon as I walked in was incredibly rude to me. Couldn’t tell me where the gel colors were. I asked if they had time right now to do a pedicure, she says yes, then proceeds to tell me they are very busy…unreal. How rude take your business elsewhere

John has done my mani 2 times before but this time I think he was in a rush and botched my gel mani and had to re-do it while I was still at the salon and when I went home they all started peeling in 3 days. Thats a waste of $45 especially since I was saving and hadnt done my nails in 3 months. The young lady that had done before did such an excellent job that my gel mani-nails were still looking fresh 3 weeks in and this was in September.

They had me and my friends wait over an hour for service even with an appointment. Dont go here. Horrible service.

First and last time. I wanted a spa pedicure and their brochure had a detailed description with a price of $45.00. When I got in the chair the nail tech whispered it would be $63.00. I balked and said the brochure said $45.00. The owner came over and said this was a new type not in the brochure. It turned out to be basically what’s in the brochure but they charged me $18.00 more. Never again.

I’m new to the area, so I was a little nervous about going somewhere new. some of the reviews had me second guessing, But I also know people love to find reasons to complain. John did my nails and Timmy did my pedicure and I look forward to returning, they were flawless!! I was very pleased as this was also my first time getting dipped nails. I walked in at 4:30 on a Monday and they got to me right away!! Definitely recommend them.

Came on 5/22 to get a full set with gel French tip with a basic pedicure with French gel tip. The guy doing my nails had to redo them as he left them full of bubbles that were extremely visible. My mom also got a manicure with a French tip gel with a pedicure with a gel solid color. The way they painted my moms Toes seemed like amateur work as her toe was not fully painted. They have NO COST ANYWHERE NOT ON WEBSITE so they charge you whatever they like. My receipt was as follows;Full set gel: $50 by JohnPedicure: $30 (after being told that a basic pedicure was $25) by JessieFrench gel: $23 (this was just my toes)My mom was:Manicure/pedicure: $68 (all basic) by Lynn1 color gel: $15.00 by Lynn.Total: $186Not satisfied at all! Will never return. Will never recommend. Don’t be fooled by the clean appearance of the place. Completely disappointed. This is THEFT at its best.

My nails always look great when I leave the salon. The nail techs are very sweet and are always concentrated. They nail techs are very nice and funny. Best salon ever ☺️

First time getting a french tip manicure! Ann did such a wonderful job. And first time dipping my hands in wax which felt really amazing! Its a small place but everyone is so friendly and patient. Highly recommend to others!

I went on Memorial Day weekend. They was busy, had to wait an hour to get my nails done. I was a little upset with that but said I would try it since I didn’t like the last place I went to. These people take their time and the wait was well worth how my nails turned out. Will def be going back however next time I’m going to make an appointment. This is more the relaxing type nail place the spa type. Prices was reasonable compared to other places I went. Just make an appointment and this place is awesome.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever experienced getting my nails done. I wish I knew the guys name that did my nails. He was SO inappropriate!! Making sexual comments and gestures the entire time to the point where I was actually fearful of being left alone with him when everyone else left. Ive never written a review in my life but I want other women to be aware of this place. I will never return to that place! He also didnt use the Polish I picked, he replaced it with a gel Polish that I didnt want.. I tried to stay on my phone until he was dont because I just wouldnt handle the things he was saying goes anymore.. asking if I wanted to taste him or if I use my tongue on my boyfriend. It was incredibly way over the line.

This was about the eighth nail salon I’ve tried since moving to the area a few years ago, each one more disappointing than the next. I came here on a Friday afternoon around lunchtime and was quickly taken back for my pedicure by Jessie which was awesome! I have a hard time with calluses on my feet even after regular pedicures, and she was able to make my feet nice and smooth without being aggressive on them. I got the SNS on my hands and a manicure and she did beautifully! This is the first time since I’ve come to the Frederick area that I was able to get my nails done and not have to show the technician things they missed or that needed to be fixed. I was a little nervous coming here due to some of the reviews that I saw posted but I’m so glad that I decided to give it a shot! I’ll be coming back and asking for Jessie because she is amazing!

Members of my group were skipped over. I requested a coffin shaped nail and received an inconsistent shape with rounded and globby edges. They were crooked and no two angles were the same. I know a coffin shape is hard to perfect but the ends werent even straight. They were also all different lengths and the guy did not check once that they were the same. You really have to do all the work of making sure things are right yourself. My nails were not smooth after they were polished and had had drip marks around the edge of the nail.

Paid a lot of money for crappy inconsistent service. Then got argued with about the cost of their services. I checked online and even called to confirm the price of a gel manicure and pedicure. I was told $60. However, when I get there, halfway through my pedicure, they tell me....No, its $75!. PLUS, my friend and i were getting the exact same package but she got more things done than the lady did for me? So confused. The service was crappy, salon was not very nice and apparently just because you pay for a pedicure doesnt mean you are getting the same treatment as everyone else. The lady working on my friend also hurt her 3 times. Never going here again.

Every time I come into soft touch I always feel welcome and taken care of. Thumb is the absolute best technician, he does a great job every time with a smile on his face. Great customer service, I wish I could give him more stars!!

About 2 Fridays ago I decided to treat myself and leave work early for a fill in. I had heard great things about soft touch so I made an appointment upon arriving it was PACKED it was clearly prom season I checked in and waited 45 minutes, asked for an estimated time and was told to hold on, after 30 more minutes someone came over and asked me if I would leave because they were too busy after taking numerous walk ins when they knew i had an appointment and had waited for over an hour. I was astonished by the way I was treated and livid that I left work early to be told to go elsewhere when I had an appointment and wasted my time.

John is Amazing! I work a lot with my hands. He always seems to bring my hands back to life. He is a Master at SNS powder dip. I receive daily compliments about my nails and am proud to refer John each and every time. A nice atmosphere and professional staff. 💅🏻❤️

We love this spa. I was looking online for their hours when I saw the opportunity to review. The staff here are fantastic, especially Mae and Lisa. They do a wonderful job with difficult, calloused and sensitive feet. This is a great spa. Highly recommended.

Went to Salon on Saturday, 27Apr19 and the techs were horrible. Rubbed off the skin on my toe trying to remove nail polish off my toe nail. How did that happen ; Ill tell ...he was young and not qualifies and he was talking gibberish to another young not so experience girl trying to do my nail with nail filling and dust everywhere. Horrible service and was not worth a dime. It is a nice shop and not well managed and the young people do not do their job. Paid $100 for pedi and manicure and not once did I get my hand massage or lotion and the boy tried to beat one foot to death and never massage the other foot. They need to be reported.

The products used were nice antd the slace is clean. But I was ignored for about 30 mins after coming in. The staff was not very helpful about explaining the check in process. Prices were not advertised and I left paying way more than anticipated and much longer too. My first and last visit 5/25.

I love coming here! I always make my apointments with Thumb he is the absolute best! He always takes his time to make sure my nails are shaped to perfection, and that Im completely satisfied with my nails! Hes especially amazing with acrylics, I highly recommend this salon and even highler recommend seeing Thumb while youre there!

I went to Soft Touch for the first time with an appointment for a pedi, mani, and lip & eyebrow waxing on 3/28. They were prompt with my appointment. The pedi was great and worth every penny. The tech sliced my finger while filing during the mani (not a soft touch). She apologized and stopped the bleeding but offered no compensation. One nail has a dip in the center. The rest of the nails look great.The waxing was last, and soon after I left the salon my lip looked as if it was blistering. The inflammation went down by the next day, after aloe and cold press treatments, but the skin was still damaged. A week later, the skin began flaking and peeling from my lip. Ive never experienced this after a lip waxing before. I wont be back, which is disappointing as I was really hoping to find a safe salon with good service after horrible past experience. Still looking.

I have always had quality service from this nail salon.

I called in ahead for a fill in and was seen with no problem. They did a really good shape up however I was ignored the while time. The gentleman that did them did not look at me or say one word pretty much the while time. I asked for him to just paint the tips of my nails and he looked at me like it was a huge bother. And then he randomly switched with another nail tech and left without saying anything! I was kicked out before my nails were completely dry so now I have a few imperfections which is no big deal but upon further inspection the next day I was really dissatisfied with the results. I can see the air bubbles from the previous job I had done, the acrylic is all along my cuticles, and my nails are uneven.I intend to go back once more to give them a second chance but I would currently not recommend them.

I gave this place three different opportunities to prove their abilities. The customer service and attitude is severely lacking. The only reason I would recommend someone to come here is if they need a repair, and arent bothered by being treated like crap. Prices are decent, atmosphere is overall decent, but the way the employees provide service and their attitudes matters most to me and that it is just dreadful. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I come in to just get my eye brows done and I have to stand up front for 10 mins while saying hello nobody came out. When someone did come out and asked how they could help. I said yes I just need my eye brows done she said well can you wait no I cant why would your doors be unlocked and your open sign turned on if you cant help a customer

I had a 12:30 appointment for a pedicure. A little after 1:00 they put me in a chair. At 1:30 I asked for a towel to dry off my feet and walked out without my pedicure. Worst experience ever! I have never been so ignored in a salon.

This place was ok. I tried pink and whites for the first time (over regular acrylic). I thought the staff was nice but would frequently stop to gossip with one another. No nicks or pain and I havent worn nails in awhile. But I noticed each nail is slightly flawed in terms of shaping. I expect 1 or 2 flaws but every nail? Overall its not very noticeable to anyone except myself but Im undecided if I will go again.

Very bad quality, the nail tech insisted she was using gel instead of acrylic (but after having gel nails for over 10 years and having acrylics as well, I know the difference... I never put my nails under a UV to set them...)When I asked her to remove the balls of HARD ACRYLIC (again, I asked for gel and gel polish, NOT acrylic), she said “why do you care about that?” Well.. I don’t like having my nails with balls of hard acrylic under them. It’s uncomfortable and it looks bad? Ugh! The shape is absolutely horrible. They’re crooked, stubby, and I’m embarrassed to have my nails like this. I will not go back. This was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. Buyer beware!

Have been coming to this salon since they opened and every single time we go it gets worse ! The customer service is awful ! The owner doesn’t care how long you wait but just to get an extra $20 in his pocket ! I waited 30 mins in the waiting for room a pedicure and then another 30 mins as my toes are pruning in the water ! I will never ever come to this nail salon again
