Always friendly place to get good value haicut. Folks are skillful and pay attention to detail. I have seen some folks chat away, others just silent like a mouse. Been going here for over a decade every 6-8 weeks. Never disappointed. Family-owned, which I like.

The only place in the country who can cut my hair. When I travel for long periods of time I will try and get a haircut at other shops. Somehow every other barber makes me look like Gumby or Kid and Play.

Ive been coming here for years. My barbers have come and gone but Ive come to trust in the whole family. Sr., Jr. and their 3rd generation girl Taylor all do a wonderful job. They all 3 cut my hair perfect and have even started taking my 3 year old for his cuts. Great family atmosphere and fair pricing. Love it!

Hands down the worst haircut ive had in years. The barber was rather old, which would be fine, if it werent for the fact that his hands were constantly shaking and i literally couldnt understand anything he said because he was t mumbling. During the cut i had to have him fix it twice, after the third time he just took of the smock so I couldn´t ask again. I left with a uneven and choppy cut that i had to immediately pay another barber shop to fix. The one compliment I have is that they seemed like nice people.

A true local barbershop. I moved out of the Frederick area years ago. Ive have searched for a similar place in the Pasadena area, but found none as of yet. Its worth the trip if you want a good experience.

Been going here since I was a kid. Best hair cut in frederick now my son goes there and he loves it. Sr. Is great and great with kids I would recommend this barber to anyone that asked me. 17years of getting my hair cut there that I could remember and have always loved it.

Ive been going to this barber for near a decade now and can highly recommend it. In my opinion, they excel in mens short hair and trimming beards, but are also proficient in dealing with children as well. Theyve great hours, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. Very relaxed, old school atmosphere for those who want a change of pace from the Supercuts of the world.

Ive been all over the Frederick area trying to find a good place to get a nice cut, and this is the one! The first two seats is where to go. John and Jr. are the main guys and have been cutting hair forever... i mean with a beard like that you have to trust him with your hair :) Good people, good conversation, and a great hair cut for a good price. I couldnt say a bad thing about them!

Excellent hours, service, price...never had a bad haircut here and at least 2 master barbers at each locationThey talk to you and make you feel like family.

Traditional 10 minute old fashioned haircut complete with neck shave. Could have taken more care as result was asymetrical. Ill keep looking for my Bshop of choice.

Asked for simple haircut with a fade on the sides and back. Fade was lopsided but glued down with gel so I couldnt see the bad cut until after a shower.

Clipper cut that unevenly lopped off hair after asking for a scissor cut. They do not do shaves. Place looked a mess as they were refinishing cabinetry with dust flying in my face as I got a haircut 3 feet away from where the guy was sanding. 3rd time there with similar experiences for haircut.

Well, I have to say that I think a lot of people miss John Senior, particularly those of us who are early risers 😊
