Unacceptable communication and follow up. Getting a call or email back was non existent. It took a week before move in and I had to show up at the office to find out I wouldnt be able to get the apartment because of my pet while all the info was in the application. Considering this was state to state relocation it was a complete waste of time.Interestingly, while I was at the office a tenant was complaining about lack of service that had to do with maintenance.

Horrible place to live. Management is rude and incompetent.

So far not feeling it. I applied and paid for application fee. But now I cant reach or get in touch with anyone. Im tryna move & all Im getting is the voicemail whenever I call. Ive left messages but no one has yet to call back. What kinda leasing office doesnt pick up their phones? I will be calling my bank to file a report & get my money back. I AM GOING TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE. I CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT I WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH IF I HAVENT MOVED YET AND YALL NOT TAKING CALLS.

This is my first apartment and I have been living here for almost 2 years. My experience has been amazing here. Westwinds has affordable rent for Frederick. Even more so having a great employees helping you along the way like Gabby. She goes above and beyond her job title and my experience here has gotten so much better since. Lisa is amazing as the new leasing manager. Both ladies have been an amazing addition to the Westwinds. They make sure any problems I may have is handled right away. And Fredy does a great job with maintenance. I had an amazing summer at their pool and with the new upgrades at Westwinds is becoming a better place to live at. Westwinds crew keep up the amazing work!

Everyone I spoke to so far has been super nice and helpful.

Living for for 2yrs has been great. Extremely professional maintenance crew and professional employees at the rental office. I would recommend this community to anyone and everyone.

Seems a bit prejudice, lied to me about the availability of one of the apartments. Id definitely steer clear.

Dont ever move here,nothing ever gets done here.My air conditioner is old and bad,it got blown and yet nothing was done about it. Before I moved in i was shown a different apartment from what I was given and they promised to fix it up but they never did.When its time to pay rent they will never be in the office so you will pay late and they will charge you for late payment.The old and new managers are nothing to write home about.They have only one maintenance guy,I feel bad for him.Old building with lots of insects. Dont come here,you will regret it like Im doing.

My sister lives here, the apartment had all these things wrong with it and it took weeks to fix it .Neighbors are ghetto as hell. the apartment smells like weed and We have complained nothing has been done . There is loud music and arguing at all hours . my sister and I can not wait until the lease is up. Dont do it!

Moved in about 3 months ago. The rent for a updated 1 bedroom is about close to 1200. Under new management. Things were rocky when first moving in. But got better over time.

Terrible. 3 property management companies in as many years, each one more incompetent than the last. Every year my HVAC is broken and it takes several request before they actually fix it. This years saga....they lied and said that all units had been serviced as of May 1st. Made a service request on the 11th, had to go back on the 14th and ask about the status, they said they were unaware there was an issue. Someone finally came out on the 15th, stated my circuit board was fried and will take 2 to 3 days to get the part. Told me today, the 20th that the part would be in tomorrow, but said they would have someone come check out my unit again. AC has been working all evening. So it would appear that I have been miserable in my over priced apartment for no good reason for the last 3 weeks. I even requested for them to put in a window unit on the 15th which they ignored.In the winter they do not clear the parking lot well or in a timely fashion. Most of the time they do not plow (and I use that term loosely) until 10-11am. So good luck getting to work on time, that’s if you don’t break your neck or back on the unsalted steps.There is a gym but it’s only open when the leasing office is open so if you have a regular 9-5 job you can’t even use it except for Saturday’s from 10-4.0/10 would recommend. Each Property Manager I have dealt with has been rude. The current one hung up the phone on me when I had to call her back and request the corporate number when she didn’t email it to me like she said she would.

They promise heaven before moving in, Gaby is good convincing people, they dont inpect the apartments before you move in .they say you tell them what is wrong then they will fix it but it takes weeks before they fix something like this guy Freddy is not a prefessional before he fixes something it takes days and most of the time He can not fix anything but He wastes your time then He says I gets a professional to fix it. in a few words westwinds dont want to pay personel They are cheap, only Lisa,Gabby and Freddy. three people todo all the work, seriously? Gabby needs a Helper She is overwhelmed with the work here. She is the Wonder Woman and Freddy Superman.

I used to live there from May of 24th 1985 to October 3rd 1988.

Moved in and within a month we had bed bugs everywhere. Management did nothing after several complaints, we had to move out and burn all our things. Do NOT move here if you can avoid it. Horrible place to live.

This place sucks.
