Fidel the manager, has been an excellent point of contact and runs an excellent leasing company!I have rented a house in Frederick for 2 years. His diligence with house maintenance and ability to fix problems, like a sewer backup, and fix floors, has been way above average!I would continue to rent from this company, but moved because of work.Fidel is the best! Dont think twice, if you want to avoid headaches, rent from them and ask for Fidel to be your point of contact.
We have been tenants with Noah’s FMC for a few years now. From the early days of turning in the application to putting in requests, we have had zero issues. The staff are very professional and we have never had to wait more than a couple of hours, if that, to speak with someone regarding a request. Huge shout out to Greg, for his knowledge, patience and always following up with us. He has made our experience with Noah’s FMC 5+ stars! Highly recommended!
Noahs FMC is a great place to rent from. We were originally set up to rent an apartment but it fell through 2 weeks before our move in date. We stumbled across a wonderfully well kept townhouse through Noahs and we were immediately taken care of. Throughout the three years that we rented through Noahs, like any house or apartment, there were issues that required a maintenance technician to come to the property. They worked with us around our busy schedules and promptly took care of any and all issues that surfaced. The staff and property managers (especially Noah the cat) were all extremely helpful whenever we called with any questions. If youre in search of a new home or apartment to rent, we highly recommend stopping by Noahs!
I am very found of this team of professionals. I have always been treated with respect and the team responses in a timely manner. This team works for both the homeowners interest while keeping the tenants informed speaks on both parties to keep the property maintained and rented. Happy Tenant, Happy Homeowner.
FMC has managed my rental property for the past five years and have provided excellent and professional service.
We have worked with NOAH’s since 2007 and are thoroughly satisfied with their comprehensive property management services. They have helped us with everything from market searches for procurement of rental properties, finding and managing great renters, renovations and repairs, etc. There is nothing they won’t do for us.! This is very important as we are out of state property owners. They provide excellent professional services at competitive price points via personal relationships. The staff at NOAH’s are good people, fun to work with, work hard, and know their stuff.!! They have been a true business partner as we have acquired five rental properties through NOAH’s. You will not go wrong by hiring NOAH’s….!!!”
Fidel always responds to my concerns and addresses them timely and appropriately. He is pleasant, patient and knowledgeable and it a pleasure to deal with
FMC has done a fine job for me. I live in South Carolina now and they have been on top of my Frederick rental property for many years. They know their profession. I definitely recommend them.
We have used them to manage our 2 properties (4 rental units) since 1981... They are the best. 40 years with them, through numerous repairs as the houses are in the historical area. They have provided us with excellent tenants, a few of which have stayed for over 20 years.
We have used Noahs FMC Property Management to rent our townhouse for 9 years. The rental process has always gone smoothly making the renting experience care free and at a good price. Dee Perry and Fidel Gomez are very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to our needs. We lost our renter last month and decided to sell. Dee and Fidel are handling all the arrangements for the cleaning, repairs and the upgrades needed to get the best price, and they did all the market research. Their regular communication has kept us in the loop all the way. I visited the property recently to see the progress and it is wonderful! Noahs FMC is definitely a plus 10.
Excellent & timely service. You will always hear back from NOAHS FMC quickly and they are a great help in managing potential renting hazards like leaks, backups, etc.
The quality of service Noahs FMC has to offer you will not find anywhere else! Moving out and packing is stressful enough and having the pleasure of working with FMC made it worth it. I am beyond content with how smooth and fast the process in renting out my home went. Greg, Dee and Leesa were so professional and were there to answer ALL my questions and trust me I had a lot! Greg took AMAZING pictures and my home was leased quick and I now I have amazing tenants thanks to there leasing process. I could not be happier with the excellent service I received.
Iid not have a good experience at all during my time with them. From day one, it was as if I was inconveniencing the agent in wanting to look at the space and take a few days to think about it. Once I did, I received my keys and walked in- and the condo was completely trashed and infested with roaches. A week later they finally had it “cleaned” (not professionally) and I was able to move in. I do not recommend doing business with this company, they are unprofessional in their correspondences, talk down to you, and will try to take your security deposit- it seems they don’t like to follow their own lease agreements. If you do decide to go with them make sure you take pictures of everything (absolutely everything) and keep your copy of the move in inspection.
I viewed an apartment a couple of weeks ago on Water Street and was so put off by the entire experience. First and foremost, the agent was extremely rude and unfriendly. She made me feel like I was majorly inconveniencing her. She was also pushy and forceful about how many other appointments she had. She complained the entire time about her work schedule and how many calls she gets and so on. She was much nicer to the tenant who was moving out than to me and my mother who came along. Second, the place was FILTHY. Of course the person had not yet moved, but it was a disaster, it reeked, and there was just stuff everywhere. When my mother asked if it would be thoroughly cleaned, the agent said well it will be clean. She was snarky and condescending. She said the tenant leaving would clean but it would not be professionally cleaned and acted as if that were normal. I knew that the apartment above was vacant because it had just been taken, but she absolutely refused to show it to me so I could have an idea of what the empty space would look like--her reasoning was that it was slightly different layout and I didnt need to see it. Just lazy. Third, utilities were not included and she could not give me the approximate cost because she literally did not know. Fourth, I had inquired about another apartment through this company a week or more earlier and never ever got a response. When I asked about it that day she nearly yelled at me that it was taken. She took all of her stress and anger and dislike for her job out on us. I would never ever want her or this company for a landlord. I was extremely taken aback by this behavior. I have never had such a horrible experience seeing an apartment.
Great customer service. Staff Does a great job of communicating with my wife and I. They are very fast in contacting companies to fix repairs. Negotiated lease agreement with owner to facilitate two year lease with minimum increase in rent. Mrs. Dee and Mr. Gomez and the other staff members are always professionally and courteous. Thanks for all your help and support.
This is the worst place I have ever done business with. If I could rate it lower I would. Greg and Dee are absolutely the worst people there when it comes to returning calls or contacting anyone back. After being a homeowner and then having to rent while transitioning it was the worst experience we have ever had. I will be telling all of friends and family never to have anything to do with them. If your a homeowner looking for someone to represent you please don’t choose them. John Fitzgerald would be ashamed if he truly knew how this company was representing him.
Dee was very kind and had fantastic customer service. She was very responsive throughout the entire signing process. I would highly recommend working with Noah’s, specifically Dee when looking for a place to call home.
Noahs FMC has been the most responsive property management company I have ever had dealings with. They do a fantastic job of communicating between the property owner and tenants!
I highly recommend Noahs FMC for property management in the Frederick area. They are very responsive and provide quality service to the property owners and tenants alike. They also do a fine job managing repairs and leases.
We live out of state and needed a property manager.I am very happy that i am able to find Noahs FMC.Dee and Fidel are very helpful. Communication is great.Fidel has a good network of handyman/vendors.He is fabulous and responsive! Definitely recommend.
Very prompt responding to any email and very professional. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better management company. We just re-signed our lease for the 3rd time!
Ive been renting from Noahs FMC for 5 years and have never had an issue. They are courteous, helpful and always handle maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
My experience with Noahs has been great. From talking with the agents, the walk through of the house, signing my lease and getting things repair has been very good. Agents and staff has been very helpful and nice!
Highly recommend this company and staff. Ms. Dee Perry helped me find a good tenant within only one week! They are really professional!!
Very professional staff, from the minute they answer the phone. They know there stuff and have handled all issues during my occupancy. If you are looking for flop house or party pad, DONT BOTHER, they dont tolerate it!
We rented a home from Noahs. Dog poop was found in the home a week after we moved in and a terrible smell in the basement. the basement ceiling broken, bathroom broken tiles. Washer blew up. Just a terrible experience all around. When we decided to leave they kept our security deposit and the lady that checks over your home when you leave acted as if all of the broken things in the house were our doing even though we notified them of all of the issues prior to leaving. We got the rugs professionally cleaned like they asked. We had a cleaning service clean the house spotless. They still kept our security deposit. I wouldnt have gotten any of that done if I knew they were going to blame us for their negligence. The actual home owners visited the home throughout the 2 years were there and told us what needed fixing and they would take care of it. Nothing ever happened and our money was stolen from us. Sincerely middle class citizen who would never ever do business with this company again.
I facilitated my senior moms rental through Noahs FMC and my experience was excellent. The staff was courteous, professional and very responsive. When there was a maintenance issue their response time was excellent. My mom rented for over 2-1/2 years and was planning to renew the lease but unfortunately she passed. Bottom line--I highly recommend this company and staff.
Have used this company for 5 years+. Very helpful and makes owning rentals a breeze. Dee is great !!
Great communication and willing to help. Much better than the service provided by the previous management team in my experience.
I rented an apartment managed by Noah’s in summer 2018. Within a month I’d notified them of a leak in the bathroom window. For the last 8 months I have called, emailed, texted and stopped by the office in person, begging them and the property owner to deal with the problem and the ensuing mold issue. The only thing anyone has ever done is come in while I was out of town in November and strip the framing from around the window, exposing the apartment to the mold inside the studs and wall. I’ve gotten a lot of excuses and apologies, with the owner and Noah’s both saying the other is ultimately responsible. The only follow up I ever get is responses to *my* follow up that contain further promises that go unfulfilled. I am breaking my lease and moving out and will be hiring a lawyer.
My roommates and I moved in to a home managed by FMC March 1st and have been extremely pleased so far. The house has been reasonably well maintained (its not perfect but its a rental and its better than most I would say). There were a few issues when we moved in, but all I had to do was email Teresa and she handled everything to our expectations promptly and was very kind about it. Dee, who handled our lease, is extremely friendly and always a pleasure to see. Five stars without a doubt, we already feel confident recommending FMC as good people to rent from
I have always had a great experience with Noahs FMC. If you respect the people that you rent from (the property management team *and* the owner) and you respect the property that youre living in you should not have any problems. This year I had a leaky shower with some floor dampness and in less than a week I had a brand new shower, tub, walls, floor, and a repainted bathroom. You get what you give, people. You are not the only property or tenant that they work with or for. I highly recommend Noahs and would rent from them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Emily, Dee, and Betty for a fantastic renting experience!
If you can avoid renting for them, then AVOID it at all costs (figuratively and literally speaking). Example 1, in the 365 days I rented a town home, the average length of UNFINISHED repairs was 183 days, the longest of which was 313 days....unfinished. Document EVERYTHING and trust no one in the company. I am sure they would have taken more of my security deposit but I documented everything. I took pictures/videos when I moved in and out, did as much communication as I could in email for documentation, and I logged about 80% of our phone and in-person conversations. During move-out they (Dee) tried to say I was responsible for some items but I was able to show that it was like that when I moved in (I requested that they do a walk-through move-in inspection but they didnt) so I wasnt charged. If you have to rent from them, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS A TENANT! For me, there was a courtesy inspection for the nine months into my lease and the assistant manager pointed out that there was paint on some of the sprinklers and it should be fixed and gave me a vague answer as to if it can be fixed. Before my lease was up, I learned that was illegal to have any paint on the sprinklers. That was an item I could have taken action on as a tenant. There were electrical issues (unresolved for 133 days)....as a tenant, I learned towards the end of my lease that I probably could have taken action, besides continually asking them to fix it.For me, knowing what I know now and if I had to rent the same place, I would have at least attempted to renegotiate the lease agreement and asked for verification on their end. For example, our lease stated that we had to have a chimney inspection. We never used it but we had to do it because it was in the lease. Fortunately, when we had the inspection, there were no issues so I only paid for the inspection. But looking back, I would have first requested them to show me that the chimney was inspected and in good working order...and if it wasnt then then I would have them fix the chimney or amend the lease on that issue.Although we were willing to stay in the place we were renting because we moved a lot, we decided to look for other options because our lease stated that we had to give at least 60 days notice. Well, around 80 days before our lease was done (about 20 days before our 60 day notice), we were sent a vague intent to stay notice, which just asked if we intended to stay or not for another year. Because they demonstrated to me that I couldnt trust them and the fact the this intent notice didnt state if the unit was available or if the rent was going to stay the same or raise, we decided to explore other housing options as we approached our 60 day notice. As the deadline approached and we did not hear anything from Noahs that the unit would still be available or about the rent cost, we sent a certified letter (and made a copy of it) that we will exercise Maryland State Law that we can give 30 days notices about staying or leaving a unit because they failed to let us know about the cost/availability of the unit we were in. Eventually, they let us know that rent was going to stay the same but we still exercised our 30 days notice and then told them that we will move out....which for us was the best thing, especially for me and my stress levels as I did not have to deal with them anymore.I would trust them as a viper trapped in a corner by someone. I can go on and on. If you can avoid them, do so. If you need to use them, do EVERYTHING to protect yourself and document everything. If you need to get a lawyer to help you with your rights, do so. Personally, I will never do business with them again and I will not recommend them. I am glad to be done with them. Protect yourself from them.
WOW, they make it happen…I was in a bind and looking for a place to rent they made sure I was shown all my price point options and made it happen once I found the right place. I think that’s a key statement there, you must check out the properties, all properties are independently owned and professionally managed by FMC, understanding that the owners have full charge, makes it a great transaction for quick approval and negotiating leasing terms, which I loved.I wanted an older house, with older homes come older issues and problems, but with the help of FMC and the owners, all issues were handled quickly and professionally and at my convenience.I have never rented from property management company before, it had always been from apartment developments, and this is quite different more personal, less commercial. I have felt like I was welcomed “home” when I rented my home. The leasing transaction was handled privately and professionally, they supplied me with all the information I needed to get my home up and running. They went through the entire lease and made sure I understood all that was expected of me and what I could expect of the management team.I would recommend this management company for your family’s needs, from a renter stand point they are tops!!
If I could give them less than 1 I would. I am continuing to document my experience with this business in order to prevent others from having the same nightmares I had to endure.WORST LANDLORDS EVER!!!! Upon moving in in September (when it was 104 degrees on move in day) We went 22 days without AC! It was broken when we moved in. I had to have someone available 4 different times for 4 different companies to do estimates AND have someone their for the installation. On top of all of that, the house looked like a dump when I moved in and had to ask them to have someone come out and clean it. They told me it had been vacant for 2 months...neighbors said closer to 10. EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY! Floors, bathrooms, kitchen, spray paint on closet and garage walls, stains in kitchen drawers and cabinets, etc. Filthy! I made sure to take over 150 pictures that went right to my ICloud. I also made sure to fill out the inspection well within the 15 days in detail! Made sure to take them a copy AND email! The problems went on the entire 18 months I rented with them (had to extend my lease bc I couldn’t find another rental in late August and they refused a month to month!).Things that were broken when I moved and noted (leaky tubs, running toilets, drilling sink) went unfixed for 4 months...not until a $1200 water bill came in. I didn’t end up paying it all because my attempts to get things fixed went unanswered and I even threatened to get a lawyer involved. They came out that day with a plumber to fix the leaks.Upon moving out, the move out inspection was a joke, they never provided copies of the walk through I did with them. They waited 43 days before sending me charges and even after giving them several copies of the move in inspections, providing pictures and documentation, resending the emails I had sent them, I was still charged $115 for stains that were clearly there before I moved in. SCAM ARTISTS!!! I hope the Better Business Bureau looks into them and their horrible practices!!!STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE!!!!
My wife and I have been tenants of Noahs FMC for almost 3 years now and have never had any major issues. Over the past 3 years, the only problem we came across had to do with a miscommunication between the owner and Noahs. Everyone was extremely helpful and we ultimately resolved the issue, which we genuinely appreciated. Whenever we sent in a maintenance request we received a call from their vendor within 24 hours and they have all been great. We have had a HORRIBLE experience with a previous property management company, Guardian Properties, but this company has reinstated my faith in property management companies because of their strong care for their tenants.I would highly recommend this company.
Going on our third year renting a private residence through FMC and weve had nothing but a great experience. Ive worked in property management for over ten years and know how strickly regulated it is under federal fair housing laws. Dont be upset because you arent familiar with the process. Understand the liability involved and youll appreciate the service youve been provided.
I have been in the real estate industry over 15 years (nonagent) and dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences I have had. Not friendly or personable which is a requirement when working with people. I wish our tenants had told us how bad they were also treated. When we told them we were taking over the property again as owners every one of them had nothing nice to say. They will bill you, and then over bill again, to get every dollar they can. I recommend anyone else but these ladies. We had to hire a lawyer too help us and its still going on.
As of the time of this writing, Ive been a tenant of Noahs for 7 years. The ladies at Noahs FMC have always been responsive to every call and email Ive sent in these 7 years, and every issue (even the accidents that were my own fault) has been handled within days, not weeks like some other landlords from my past. Theres no hounding, no harassing calls from them, ever. They communicate better than every apartment complex Ive lived in. Theyve even defended us from the local HOA when the HOA decided to start sending us letters with false accusations.Betty, Dee, Tami, and all the other ladies who Im forgetting their names... theyve always gone the extra mile for us in the past 7 years, and if all goes well, I intend to buy a home with their assistance. If you ever stop in their office, make sure to ask for Noah personally. He runs the place, loves all his visitors, and appreciates everyones company. (Hes the resident cat. Seriously, he loves the attention.)
Mr. Fidel Gomez is a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and professional and addresses our needs and concerns immediately - glad to be working with him!
Their rental listings go unrented for many months due to their unprofessionalism.Their agent Dee Perry is extremely unprofessional with a Jekyl & Hyde personality. She appears cordial one day and the next day she will burn bridges being nasty and unprofessional if things dont go exactly her way. Their receptionist is also very gruff & unprofessional, acting as if she is moving mountains to answer phones. My family will never use them again.
If I could give zero stars I would. This company shows little concern for the properties they handle and even less for tenants in the property. Never have we dealt with a more unprofessional group of people. They have repeatedly shown negligance to the property, open aggression to calls for service, and continual excuses for their inability to address concerns raised. If you are a property owner, find another management company; if you are a renter, RUN!
Thieves! I echo that of other review posts... If I could give Noahs FMC a zero I most certainly would. The short story...I found my own tenant, all Noah had to do is have the tenant sign the lease. Somehow this cost me $1162.50. Noah also gave the tenant a walk thru. They gave me a $387.00 in an attempt to justify the remaining fee (which they cant). This is the 2nd time that they have assigned bogus charges. They will not get a chance for a 3rd. Companies like this should be shutdown!!!!
DO NOT RENT--Avoid this management co at all cost DO NOT RENT HERE!!! They are very rude and money hungry. They will nickel and dime you and try and get every cent they can. I wish we never signed the lease. Problem after problems. And try to get them to do things that a management co dose is ridiculous.AGAIN SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!! OH PS AVOID DEE AT ALL COST
This company does not treat tenants as human beings. They are very rude and inflexible. I am a landlord myself as well and I would never want my tenants to be treated this way. They have tried to charge us for problems that existed prior to us moving in. Please keep all documentation from this company you will need it, they are not savory people, unfortunately.
Awful and untrustworthy. They are there for themselves and not for the property owner or the renter.
Remember, if the place youre looking at is a Noahs FMC property, keep looking.
Crappy service. Took them twn years to fix our fence in Carroll park manor
Did not have a good experience at all, I will never do business with this compan again, unprofessional and will try to take your security deposit, very dishonest, just make sure you take pictures of everything if you decide to go to this company, my experience was horrible horrible horrible!!!
Ignorant employees.
