Bill was an extremely huge help for getting our truck. We were having some availability issues and Bill went above and beyond and made sure we got a truck that day. Even later on we had to exchange the truck out with another and he was able to provide us with a newer and better truck that was more suited for the safety of my family in our move from Tennessee to Washington. Bill has shown he upholds the standard of the highest integrity and is also very knowledgeable and cultured. 10/10 would recommend anyone go through him for a budget truck rental. Thanks again Bill!

Truly terrible experience. Do not rent from here if you can avoid it.- I reserved a cargo van, and the morning I received the rental, they had no vans in stock, so they gave me a 16-ft truck. I had no warning previously that my reservation was not available, and I had specifically gone to this location for the cargo van.- The cabin was extremely dirty. The steering wheel was sticky, there were crumbs in the crevices. Not something I want to spend 18 hours driving in.- When I got the truck to the location to load, the gas cap was gone. So I had to call customer service. They asked me to either drive without the cap (there was no safety, the gas was open to the air!) or go buy one myself. Eventually I convinced them to come bring me one, because I lived in a small town that didnt even have any truck gas cap in stock.- I had to pay $55 in tolls because of the truck, instead of the $25 I would have had to pay in the van. Because the truck didnt have a toll pass inside it, I had to pay cash at the tolls which means Budget Customer Service refused to pay the difference in tolls.I did get some money refunded from customer service for the difference in gas and the dirty cabin, but the inconvenience of having to call customer service 4 different times for the gas cap, incorrect rental, etc., plus the inconvenience of driving an (almost empty!) 16 foot truck around NYC was not worth it. Moving across the country is stressful enough without having to deal with this. I highly suggest you go to another rental company (Penske, U-haul, Enterprise, etc.) if youre moving.

I have used this location multiple times with ease. The staff is always friendly and exceptionally helpful. The owner is quite a nice gentleman and always quite communicative and understanding. I would recommend this location every time you need a truck.

This place needs to be shut down. Unprofessionally managed. You dont call people the day before they need to move cross country to tell them you cant give them a truck when you clearly have trucks in your parking lot. Also change your hours if you arent going to be open.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Made a reservation over a week in advance and they called me NOT EVEN 24 hours before I am suppose to pick my truck up to say they don’t have a truck for me and I should call uhaul or pensky to find my own truck. Absolutely horrible service. 10/10 do not recommend.

We had a great experience renting our Budget truck from this location! Bill is thoughtful, kind and really cares about his customers. The process was very smooth and even when one of the pieces of equipment we had reserved wasn’t available, Bill went out of his way to make sure we had an even better replacement. We highly recommend using this locations’ services!

David was more than helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. He was extremely patient while we tried to figure our insurance with my insurance company. In addition, he helped me find ways to save money as a struggling student. I would definitely use them again.

AVOID these people AT. ALL. COST.My fiancé and I have had a truck and car tow trailer booked for weeks for a cross country move. On arrival to pick up said rentals, they were prepared with NONE of what we booked. Literally told my fiancé that “last time this happened the person had to drive to Indiana to pick his own car tow up”... what????? He was sent away with the moving truck with a promise he would be contacted shortly about the tow. It’s now nearly 10 hours later and we have heard from no one. Everytime we call we get the run around and no answers other than “a manager will call you back”. We are supposed to be leaving in 24 hours and are now having to make other arrangements and go out of our way. They also offered no refunds or anything to rectify their lack of good business or inconvenience. Ridiculous.

I dropped my truck off here after I had rented it. David was a friendly guy. Hes very outgoing and easy to work with. He didnt waste my time. I will be coming back to this location for my next Budget truck :)

This was the worst Tuck Rental experience i have ever had. We were forced to get the insurance (we have our own and its covered via our Credit Card). Then when we went to see the truck, we were given a truck that was way larger than requested and had a crack in the windshield. After all of this, we found out, while we were driving, that their was a whole in the roof over the cab. My husband was rained on the entire way from Nashville to Memphis. HORRIBLE!!! Then we went confronted Customer Service they thought $40.00 was enough of a credit...RIDICULOUS!! I will never rent a truck from here again. Worst Rental Experience Ever!!!!!!

I called them to ensure I had a great truck for my 1600 mile move from Tennessee to Arizona, requesting good cruise control and air conditioning and they mentioned they would ensure I received the best truck they had! Will definitely rent from them again for the second half of my move in several months.

You know, I love giving second chances but Budget truck has done it again. Dont bother making an online reservation, you can reserve anything and everything you want but that does not mean they have it it stock. Show up, dont have the truck. Oops sorry, oh well. Sucks to be you. is how they treat customers. Im sick of this poor customer service, I will never use budget again and I will convince anyone and everyone not to use them.

Unfortunately we were rented the same 26 diesel truck referred to in the last review which had a leak in the roof and unfortunately the leak wasnt fixed and unfortunately for us, it rained while our stuff was in the back. Dont expect any speedy communication or electronic efficiency. Bill only uses a fax machine. UHaul emails all receipts and contracts and communications. They might be more expensive but definitely worth the expense!

Absolutely horrible customer service and they overcharge you for gas by 400-500%. I waited in line 30 minutes just to pick up the truck. I called the Manager after the return, and he would do absolutely nothing to fix this and verbally told me he would choose a bad review over crediting me the $30 he charged me for 1 gallon of gas. Horrible, Horrible, experience. They wont stay in business long treating customers this way.

On 4/19/17 I received a quote from Budget Truck Rental for a 26 DIESEL RAMP Truck for 3 days & 352 miles with Estimated Rental Charges of $401.32 & Estimated Taxes & Fees of $40.11 to Pickup 08:00 AM FRIDAY 05/26/17 from BUDGET OF INDIANAPOLIS 8225 W WASHINGTON ST, INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46231 (317) 248-6998 & Drop Off by 08:00 AM MONDAY 05/29/17 to AA 5TH AVE TRUCK RENTAL 234 5TH AVE NORTH, FRANKLIN, TN 37064 (615) 790-6170 for a Personal move.I had paid movers to assist loading the truck scheduled for 08:30 AM on 5/26/17. On the afternoon of 5/25/17 I called the Pickup location to confirm that my truck would be ready & available on-time, and they stated Yes. After leaving my home I received a call shortly before 08:00 on 5/26/17 from Nathan at the Pickup location to advise that my truck was unavailable due to a dysfunctional A/C unit & that it wouldnt be ready for a couple of hours. I called back a couple of hours later to check the status of the truck & no one answered, so my call diverted to the national customer service line. The representative I spoke to did not know the status of my truck & was also unable to reach anyone at the Pickup location. The representative advised that I go to the Pickup location to check, which I then did arriving shortly after 10:00. Nathan then advised me the truck was still not ready due to a hole being patched in the roof. Nathan then proceeded to hurriedly complete the contract signing & payment, which turned out to be $471.34 ($401.32 rental, $30.84 in taxes, plus a $10.50 Cost Recovery Fee, a $4.68 Energy Recovery Fee, and $24 simply due to the fact that I was renting the truck but my father was the driver). We then proceeded to watch the employee slowly complete the maintenance of the truck & did not receive it until approx 11:00 (3 hours after agreed time). I did not get home until approx 11:30 for the movers to begin the loading process.On 5/27/17 at 3:16 PM the fuel tank was filled 4.4 miles from the Drop Off location & then returned the truck 2 days early. Bill at the Drop Off location received the keys, inspected the truck & opened the fuel tank to confirm full without comment.Without authorization or notification my card was charged by Budget $30 on 6/5/17 & then $16.85 on 6/8/17. On 6/11/17 I called the customer service line to inquire & was told that the $30 charge was to fill the fuel tank, but that they didnt know what the other charge was for & to contact the Drop Off location directly. I did so on 6/12/17, but it was after hours & my call was again diverted to the national customer service line. This time the representative guessed the $16.85 was for tolls & gave me a phone number for PlatePass to inquire. I called that number & was advised that was correct ($5 for Toll Charge: Kennedy Bridge Riverlink & $11.85 for Administrative Fee: 3 days @ $3.95/day). On 6/16/17 I went to the Drop Off location & spoke with Bill. He provided me with a receipt showing he purchased fuel 0.4 miles from the Drop Off location on 6/2/17 at 5:54 PM (a full 6 days after return) totaling 6 gallons even, for $13.98, but I was charged the $30 Fuel Top Off Fee. I asked him how this was possible since I purchased 5.772 gallons for $15 before returning. He stated that we didnt pull the nozzle out far enough to completely fill it. I asked him why he didnt say anything when we dropped off the truck & why it took 6 days, to which he responded that there is a sign in the window that describes the fuel fee & that it took 6 days due to maintenance needed first. I asked him to prove this & he said he couldnt, but that its been policy for 30 years.There was also a piece of paper under the glass counter top depicting the current US President as a swindler & I commented on its irony considering the situation.Moral of the story: NEVER use BUDGET!!!

Was very disappointed with this service. The owner was not present during business hours and complained when we called within business hours to rent a truck. He called the branch and lied and said he had an emergency when he was in fact just wanting to be done early for the day. He also added additional charges to our bill without our consent or approval for not filling up the gas when the tank was on full. It was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this truck company to anyone.
