Well I went into town to buy records and came out with a new used car. So yeah that happens. Great service. Very patient, and to me most important didnt sell me a car. I own a 2020 Forester and since moving to Franklin I have been using Waltrips Service Dept. It is great. My service has been on time or completed early. I had the pleasure of working with Will Allen at Darrell Waltrip Subaru over the last two weeks. My Subaru had some strange nose develop from the tire, and I took it into this dealership to get checked out. The first mechanic who looked at it couldnt figure it out, and I was sent out with the reassurance that it was certainly nothing major or serious. However, when the noise returned, I came back right away, and the case was escalated to Will, as the service manager.He was incredibly friendly and helpful, and validated my concerns. He personally took an interest in the problem, and promised to get it figured out. He even got me an Uber to go home (likely cost over $40) while they kept my Subaru and figured out the problem. I just got the car back and looks like the problem is fixed. Will was the perfect example of decency and kindness, and went the extra mile to be courteous and kind. I will always return to this service center to get their help, with particular request to have Will help! Thanks guys!

Although Darrell Waltrip is a further drive for me it was worth it and glad I did! I had some bad experiences with my last Subaru service in Nashville and wanted to try somewhere else. Downtown Subaru needs to take notes and lessons from these guys on delivering exceptional customer service. I was assigned Harold Brien as my service advisor at Darrell Waltrip Subaru. This guy was fantastic absolutely fantastic to deal with. He set the expectations and kept them. He did not try to pressure me into any additional services. There was a slight delay due to it being Memorial Day, but I was expecting it and I was just glad they were open to service my car but Harold went out of his way to locate me to apologize for the delay. Although they were very busy he still took his time and sat with me to thoroughly go over the service invoice and “report card “ and what was done to the vehicle and what to expect down the line for future repairs and services. They gave me a complementary car wash and Harold Brien took it upon himself to find me some coupons that he applied to my bill. That is what I call that going above and beyond. Darrell Waltrip is very customer service oriented. Own a Subaru go see these guys for your service and purchase needs. Wow! Just wow! A huge thank you to Harold Brien and the Darrell Waltrip staff for a very very pleasant experience.

This was the first time I have used Daryl Waltrip in Franklin to service my Subaru Outback. I normally go Downtown where I purchased the vehicle but they did not have any manageable service times for what looked like weeks. Bryan, who is as nice and genuine as they come, and his crew took excellent care of me and my Outback. They were very Covid conscious which is important to me having a wife with MS. Plenty of places to sit outside and spread out during this unfortunate time. Thank you Bryan for all of your help in getting me in and out quick and easy. See you in 5K miles.

Great day in the mornin let me just say these guys really know how to hook a brotha up. I came into the dealership needing my moms Outback to be fixed (weird knocking coming from the drivers side of the engine bay) because she had a work trip she needed to attend the next day and Wes really got it going for me. They really live up to the Darrell Waltrip name over there with how fast I was in and out. Felt like I was under the Daytona lights because it was like a pit crew!!! I was traveling on vacation when my car started backfiring, cruising in my 2007 Subaru outback sounded like a casual stroll through Fallujah on December 23, 2004. Fearing my husbands PTSD was going to trigger, I found respite in the local subaru dealership. I hopped on out of my subaru to see the smiling face of my soon to be savior, Mr. Taylor Bones. Mr. Bones listened to my blight, and helped me understand a few common reasons for the issue. After some paperwork he settled me into a rental car to continue our vacation just in time to make it to the final tour time Opry. His recommendation to visit the hermitage actually turned into the best attraction we visited on our vacation. The next morning Mr. Bones called me, saying they fixed my outback early. Once I arrived he was able to explain my car had developed an exhaust leak and that the engine was perfectly fine. I wish my local subaru dealership was as timely and polite as my experience at Darrel Waltrip Subaru, especially with service advisors like Mr. Bones.
I took my car here for an oil change and had them check my fluids and air filters. Wes took care of me and advised me to change out my cabin air filter. He was awesome and really looked out by letting me know how disgusting the cabin air filter is and how bad it is for our lungs. 10/10 really honest guy. Will definitely be returning for further maintenance!
Bought a certified pre owned car from them a few months ago and am still extremely satisfied with the purchase! I drove 500 miles to come here and I’m glad I did. They gave me exactly what I wanted on trade in and the price of the car was the best I saw in months of searching. Radek made the long distance deal go super smooth. Well they made it right. Had to have front grill assembly replaced on my 2020 outback and after a couple of months the paint was peeling from the new part that was replaced. Took it back to Bryan and he set up a time to bring it in and have them repaint that new grill. Hoping this time it will stick but for now I remain impressed with Bryan’s follow thru and commitment to make it right.

My wife and I bought a new Subaru approximately two months ago. We have made two payments thus far. And to this date we have not received papers to tag our car. We are on our second temporary license which expires this week. I called Mike our sales rep yesterday to explain our problem and he blamed it on COVID. After we purchased the car we were off to finance with Craig. His main concern was to strong armed us into buying the extended warranty for around $4900. When we declined he was done explaining anymore about our new car. When we got back to Arkansas we bought the same warranty plus an extra year for $1900. My wife was told numerous times that the papers were sent but obviously somebody is not telling the truth. I called Andy one of the managers two Saturday’s ago. Never received a call back. So I called Andy again yesterday, and again no call back. What I would like to do is sell the car back to them and go to another dealer that at least would make an effort to give quality service. By the way, we have bought 9 Subaru’s. Great vehicle bad dealership…All I can say is buyer beware if you buy from Darrell Waltrip Subaru…Please no automated response.Well I did get a response. The response was if I don’t hear from them then I should call them. I’ve been in business along time, and one thing that I learned is that if you don’t have customers you don’t have a business. I’m a customer and I expect to be treated as such. I do believe the managers should be held accountable. But I’m sure that won’t happen because they make the rules. Just another reason maybe you should buy elsewhere…
I had some issues with my Forrester last week as I was on a trip back from visiting in laws. Experiencing car problems away from home is extremely scary, but thankfully Robert Selph in the service department was able to not only help ease my concerns and anxiety, but was able to fit my car in for repair on the same day! Robert was very knowledgeable and kind. He explained how a seemingly insignificant part caused the aggressive behavior my car was exhibiting. Thanks to Mr. Selph I was able to complete my drive back home the next day. Highly recommend working with this gentleman.

There are not enough stars for the excellent service that I have received each time I have visited this Waltrip Subaru service center. This is about a 3 hour round trip for me, but I would drive even further in the pursuit of the peace of mind and confidence I gain from working with Bryan Bock when servicing and repairing my vehicle. I have never had to ask for further explanation or detail, as Bryan always prepares me and explains exactly what is necessary at the moment, and what can be done at a later visit. In my book, that is rare, and I feel a genuine honesty there. I can say the same for my experience with Rob Selph. In Bryans absence, Rob stepped in and provided me with the same honesty and integrity I have come to expect. I think this may be the first time that I can say that I trust the advice I get when it comes to the maintenance and repair of my vehicle!

I was scheduled for a test drive on a new Forester and unfortunately when I showed up the car had sold the day before. I was a little disappointed but Kristin Kerrigan and Steve Powell worked really hard to locate another one for me from another dealership. We were able come to an agreement for my trade-in and the new Forester and they both made the process extremely easy and streamlined. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and I know that Ill be back in future!

I would like you to know that Colton Revard at Subaru Darrell Waltrip is a fantastic sales person. He sold us a crosstrek a few years ago, which we had bought for our daughter. After that sale we were so pleased with how it all went and have loved owning a Suburu. We were in the market this year for a new car again and were interested in the Ascent. Never coming back. If my subaru crosstrek needed work as and I had missed 30k service would have liked to know earlier. On a previous oil change service advisor had said 30k not needed and didnt need to worry. Overzealous and dominating service advisor footed a 1000 dollar 60k plus 30k service bill with useless extra items when car was at 53k miles. Engine and cabin air filter is a scam job price wise. Loaner was dirty. Car wash wasnt working. Tried to sell me 500 dollar brake job which I had to forcefully decline. Not coming back.
I took my 2017 Forrester in for a recall for the A/C condenser and was helped right away. The service was excellent and my car was repaired for free in about an hour. Ellis Roberts was very friendly and kind when checking me in and out. I would recommend this dealership to anyone with a Subaru!

We were traveling through Nashville when we discovered a repair emergency. They so kindly fit us in. We were there for six hours and everyone was so nice. In the end the problem was fixed.

It took 2 hours for my oil change, which was fine, however after I was asked if I wanted my headlights changed and refusing I found that later that same night, all the bulbs had been removed out of my headlights which forced me to drive home at midnight without lights. This is completely unacceptable. When I called to complain (nicely) I was gaslit by the employees and asked to bring in my car so they “could make sure”
I brought in my Forester for regular service a few weeks ago. Alan Mickinack provided great customer service from my entry to the service center through the final checkout. The service was efficient and addressed all of my needs. I was able to work in their lounge area while waiting with no issues. Always a good experience and I will definitely return here in the future.

Purchased my Forester Sport in Grapevine,TX but moved to Tennessee and just had it serviced at Darrell Waldrip Subaru. Allan was gracious and got me in and out quickly. So happy to have found such a terrific dealership.
I brought my car for a standard alignment after getting new tires out on. My car drove perfectly straight before however after the alignment, my car began pulling to the right and my rear driver side tire was wobbling significantly. Turns out my lug nuts had not been torqued down and I easily could’ve been killed along with other drivers around me. When I returned for a second time, the lug nuts were tightened however the service tech didn’t seem all that concerned that they almost killed me. I was told my cars alignment was corrected but when I began driving home again my car was pulling to the right. Finally, I returned for a third time and the service technician is now telling me that my tires are he issue not the alignment, but when I pointed out to him the my car was not pulling left or right before I brought it in for that initial alignment he decided he would switch my front two tires and informed me that if the pull switched side it meant it was the tires. After that was done I was called and told that the pull had completely gone away and that the car was fixed. That also was a lie, not only did the car pull right but also it pulled left at highway speeds. I then realized that my car was now making a squeezing sound. I checked the lug nuts and AGAIN they were NOT torqued down on the drivers front side tire, potentially almost ending my life again. I was fed up and called to inform the dealership that this had happened again. The technician simply said to bring in the car so they can torque the lug nuts not even acknowledging the fact that they had endangered my life again and lied to me about my car being fixed when it was not. I told them I wanted my money back and I was told a service manager would call me to discuss my refund. I was called and told the manager the situation, and although he was understanding I still didn’t feel like they grasped the magnitude of the mistake that they had made twice now. I told him I did not feel safe with anyone there working on my car ever again after he said I could bring the car in to try and be fixed again. I am extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience as it wasted my time and endangered the lives of my self and my loved ones. Completely unacceptable and I will never return nor recommend this deal ship to anyone I come into contact with.

I was looking to replace my Subaru with a newer one. I had some idea what I wanted already by browsing online.I swung by the dealership and test drove an Outback. My salesperson mentioned a Legacy they had. I was short on time so didnt drive it.After a week or so of looking elsewhere, I kept coming back to the Legacy. My salesperson was never pushy but gave his card. I communicated with him and finally made my way back to drive it. I feel very bad that I couldnt come on the day my first salesman was working, but I appreciate the help that he and everyone there gave us.Im loving my new Subie. The whole experience was friendly and easy.If you love Subaru, you have to go where there is a wide selection and many are certified. Plus they know their cars!

This is my first Subaru and Im sad I hadnt discovered Subaru or Darrell Waltrip in my first 35 years of buying and having cars serviced. I wont go anywhere else.
