Bob has been fixing my wife’s families cars for over 30 years. He is an honest man and he will tell you how it is. He won’t sugar coat it either, so you’ll know exactly what’s wrong, if it’s worth fixing, and how much it will cost to fix it. Which is always within reason. Bobs is the real old time service station. Its where locals go to get your car fixed at a decent price. They will fix whats wrong and let you know if something needs attention without gouging you on a bunch of add ons.I needed work done on my 2003 Ford truck. I asked around and got the same answer from three friends Bobs was the place. I dropped it off they work on 1st come so it may take a few days and only charged me a few hundred bucks. They also let me know about some potential problems that I may need to watch out for.If your looking for good honest workthen Bobs is your place.

These guys are as honest as you will find. My 22 yr old daughter was having issues with her car while driving to Alabama for a wedding. I had her go to the local Auto Zone to have her alternator checked. This turned out to be the issue. My daughter asked where there was a reliable/honest shop that could fix this. The AZ manager told her to go to Bobs. Unfortunately, AZ did not have the part but a Napa down the road did. I had called Bobs and spoke to Ray. Ray said they could get to it the next day and it would save time if she picked up the part. My daughter did just that then went to Bobs. These poor guys had no idea that walking in would be an emotionally wrecked young woman in tears. Taking pity on her, Micky got to work on the car with the promise that he would try to get the part on but since hed never worked on a car like hers it could roll over to the next day. Ray was left to play psychologist with my daughter, have a feeling he was wishing he was dealing with the car. Within 1 hour Micky had her car up and running and her back on the road to Alabama. The price was extremely fair. These gentleman took care of her as if she were their own. As a father I cant thank them enough, they helped a young lady that was in a pretty tight spot. While Ive yet to meet these two I can highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Micky and Ray!

These guys are great AND honest! Worked on my F-250 brake issue and went above and beyond when supplier sent the wrong part - all at a fair price. My buddy recommended me based on his servicing his Ford Explorer there and Im so glad he did.

After waiting on Crutchers down the street for 2 weeks and getting an outrageous 950$ quote I called Bobs and got a 570$ quote. I spent 50$ on getting it towed there and they called about 4 hrs later saying it was done. So far Im happy with my experience

I was recommended Bob’s by a coworker of mine and I initially had high hopes but those went away rather quickly. I was pulling into the shop and someone that works there was sitting in a large white vehicle with hazard lights on, then proceeds to pull out and almost hit me from the side. 10/10 would not recommend. I found a better mechanic in Brentwood.

We have used Bob’s Auto for years and they have always shown themselves to be honest and reasonably priced. They have sent our cars home many times for next to nothing if they discover the issue to be an easy fix. Mickey is a great mechanic and all around nice guy. The front office is old and usually smells of cigarettes, but you don’t hang out in there for long, so it’s not a big deal.

Mickey is genuinely a great human being. He is fast, knowledgeable, and fair in pricing to say the least. Ray provides great customer service as well. All around terrific experience and I will continue bringing my repair needs to Bobs!! Dont get haggled somewhere else! #04stratusphere

These guys are awesome. My AC went out so I called seeing when they could bring me in. They told me I could come in whenever, and they started working on it immediately! Fast service. Fair prices. Funny guys. Ill be back for sure.

Normally they do a good job and are reasonable. However I had my truck repaired there and they called me and said it was ready. I told them I was at work and would pick it up later. They said fine but they would be closing at 5. Rushed home after work and drove 30 miles to get the truck. Got there at 4:30 and they were gone. My truck was sitting on the lot, unlocked,. Not happy.

I have been taking my vehicles to these guys for 30 years. YEP! 30 years. Im 48 now. You just dont find people like this around every corner. Old school all the way and they just tell you like it is good or bad. My kind of people. See you Monday Ray and Mickey. Blue is in need of some TLC. Ill bring you a cell phone Ray if you keep your minion mechanics hidden in the drain to make people think no one works there. Mickey can hide them in the drums because rear brakes are on the agenda. I also want to make sure all your customers can read signs. LOL! Chimney? READ people!

Bobs they are wonderful honest I would not use anyone else for car care

The guys at Bobs are great. They saved me over $100 on a repair from another shops quote, plus, they showed my friends daughter--a female college student, mind you--how she could do a quick repair HERSELF to save money. Even sent her across the street to Auto Zone with a list of the parts she would need, and they didnt charge her a penny. Thats integrity, friends. Ill be back.

Straight forward pricing and great service done professionally and done right the first time

I have been to this automotive repair shop many times and generally their quality of service is very good and reasonably priced. Their only problem is that there is only 1 mechanic (I dont know the gentlemans name) who does all the job and you have to be lucky in order to speak with him.The service requests are generally taken by an some other person in the office and he doesnt show lot of patience in listening to your complaint. Last time, I went in with a sound coming from my dashboard and he was very unprofessional and wouldnt take my vehicle for inspection even though I was sure there was a problem.The next door Lexpro of Franklin was quickly able to diagnose the problem with a coolant leak and fixed the problem.

Ray shoots it to you straight. Quality auto repair at a reasonable price. Ray and his team did a great job on my car, quickly.

After knowing Bob for years I am surprised he is still in business. Honesty is not his strongest asset. Buyer beware.

Had a whole rack n pinion replaced in our Honda Civic in October of 2016 for the cost of $896.40. Cost is understandable if the part would last. The new rack n pinion started leaking 8 months later. Bobs said the part was warranted for a year, but the labor warranty was only 6 months. Bobs told me the rack n pinion from NAPA was a re-manufactured part and that I probably would not have opted for the brand new one. Maybe hes right, but I wouldve appreciated the option for a new one the first go around. After arguing with them to get NAPA to reimburse the labor, they agreed to put another rack n pinion on the Civic. After installing the second rack n pinion, Bobs told me they would not warranty the second one. Sure enough the second one didnt last a month before leaking. Im beginning to wonder if they even actually bothered to replace it and just told me they did. Will never use them again. Now, less than a year later, Im having to take the Civic to another service center to get a brand new rack n pinion thats not from NAPA. If you want inferior parts that you have to argue for warranty, and then they still dont work, feel free to take your car to Bobs, but if youre like most people, Im sure youd stay away.

My daughter took her car to bobs because she needed brakes. mickey told her she needed pads and rotors a calipar and brake hose because her brakes was grinding. I live in florida ive been a mechanic for 29 years so I called to check on her car and to ask what was all needed he told me what she needed and I asked him why she neeed a brake hose and he told me he always changes then when he changes a caliper. That was not needed to be changed. He charged her $20.00 for the part and 145.00 for labor just to change the calipar and brake hose that only took him 10 min to change. then when we went to pay the bill he told her that we could not pay over the phone with a credit card that she had to pay cash and that she could not come back because I had called aout him putting parts on that she didnt need. She had to walk up and down the street to differant banks because he would not let the bill be paid over the phone.

Fast service, fair prices, no typical auto shop run around. Very Pleased :)

Been using Bobs for six years now. Theyre fast, affordable, and extremely honest. We refer all our friends and family (when visiting from out of town and needing repairs) here.

Is willing to do what the customer wants but is honest enough to say that it if it is needed or not and is very honest tonight just take your money.

First time customer and they didnt install a part correctly... Left me stranded on the interstate for 3 hours waiting for a tow truck and had to put a new motor in my truck with only 56k miles! It was a horrible experience and they wont pay for the motor either. Besides all this, their rates are too high at $95 per hour.

They are a little expensive but they saved me a lot of money on a part and they got the job done fast and I havent had any problems! It was worth it!
