I dont think they know how to dip here.. it took almost two hours, and all my nails chipped INCLUDING the actual nail... within a day.. my nails are ruined and stubbed.

I have gone to this place twice in the last two months. The first time, I was very pleased with their higiene protocols and service . The second time, I was not as impressed. The person I was working with didn’t seem very experienced and rushed the service. I had to go somewhere else for another manicure a week later because they didn’t do a good job. I guess depending on who you get, you or may not like this place.

Under new ownership- Very positive experience!I remember going to Tokyo Nails when they first opened many years ago. It was a nice place, but as time went on I found them to be extremely unfriendly and an overall negative environment. I remember the sign when you first walked in said that they had the right not to service anyone they chose. I stopped going for many years. Today I took off work and the only thing I could not fit into my day was getting my nails done. I called my regular place and they didnt have any openings for me in the evening. After I fed my children I decided to call Tokyo nails at 6:50pm to see what time they closed. They told me they closed at 7pm but they would stay open until I got there! I headed right over and I am glad I did. It is under new ownership and the owner is so nice and accommodating. She was there with her husband who made sure to put on a kid friendly movie so my son would have something to watch while I got my nails done. I think she arrives at 7:30am and in the summer she plans on staying open until 8pm. It sounds like they are trying to build up their clientele and I hope they are able! I definitely plan on going back!

The couple that runs this place are very sweet and accommodating. I’ve been many times and I’m always happy with the experience. When I needed to get a fast manicure they had me done in 30min and my nails looked perfect. When I’ve wanted to take my time, they’ve never rushed me. I love that they have evening hours, too

This place is awful! To start, they weren’t welcoming when my friend and I came in; they were rushing us to pick our color and just rushed through the whole process. Once I sat down, I had A LITTLE gel left on my nails and she didn’t take it off fully and painted over it. When she was painting she didn’t paint the full nail, she missed so many spots. When I was done, my gel nails were still sticky and wet and my nails were not even in length. It was also a $3 charge to take off the gel that I had on. Overall, terrible service and unwelcoming environment.

If i pay $35 for a gel, I want it to last more than three days. The first time i went, a man did my gels and did a great job, so i went back. The second time i went a girl did my gel. She was so lazy or tired or something that when she was cutting my cuticles, one of my fingers started bleeding incessantly because she was so brutal with the clipper tool. When she started putting on the base coat & and the polish she didnt even fill the whole nail, just did not pay attention to detail. within three days i had multiple nails peeling, like large scale peeling. i could tell it was because she did a sloppy job. I went back and asked her to redo my nails. She did redo them for me and didnt charge, which is why they get three stars instead of 1. That was the right thing to do. Now, the next day, i already can see one of my gels starting to peeil Its just sloppy work. I would recommend to pay $5 more and go somewhere better.

I love JN. She makes you feel welcomed and does a fantastic job on my dip. They last longer than when I go somewhere else. Great prices. Very clean salon. I will never go anywhere else ever again!

Its okay not friendly

Being new to the area I thought I would give them a try seeing how nice their salon looks.The customer service was excellent, however my nails came out horribly. I alwaysvery acrylic nails and have never had them done so badly. The paint started to fade after only 3 days.Now, not even 2 weeks later and the acrylic nails are already falling off.I will never go here again.

Tony did a great job! It was new and very challenging to him but he insisted that he gets it right! He is happy, engages in a conversation with you and always has a smile on his face! Super satisfied!

The best and taking care of there clientes

I have been going to Tokyo Nails since I was in Middle School. I’ve been there with my friends and family several times for different occasions. The last experience I had at the salon has convinced me to never come back. I had gotten a gel manicure for the holidays, that was supposed to last me until the new year. The nails started chipping the same day. They would get caught in my clothes and other fabrics and chipped even more. I spent Christmas out of the country so I couldn’t get them fixed until after. When I came back to get them fixed, the top layer of the gel was filed off and a new layer was repainted on top of it. They didn’t even bother to clean the nail and remove the filed off gel debris. The original layer was still not attached to my nail, but they thought painting over that would do the job. I took a shower that same day and the nails had bubbles in them. The second layer was peeling off. I couldn’t believe how terrible my experience at Tokyo nails had been. I’ve been a loyal customers for years, as well as my family and friends. We will not be doing business here again.

Im fairly certain they were kind. Im a regular. I think maybe people feel entitled and above them and they need to fix there own attitudes. Tim is the best!

These guys have NO IDEA how to do nails. If you’re willing to pay a fortune and have chipped rough and cracked nails after 3 days, by all means give them a call.

Took my manicurist 3 tries to remove my old gel manicure. Ended up taking an hour and a half. Decent resulting manicure but would not go back.

Arrived for a 9:30 scheduled appointment with JN, was told she wad running late, but she would be there shortly after 10:00. I decided to run some errands and come back at 10:30 and they confirmed she would be there.Arrived back at 10:30, still no JN and now they cannot get a hold of her via phone. They wanted me to wait, but had no idea his long I would be waiting for? Disappointed with their lack of customer service. Won’t be going back.

JN is very good at mani pedi. Very sweet girl & friendly

Made an appointment for me and my girls (9&16) today around 10:30 for 5:30 when we arrived we were greated rudely and told that they only had time to do the 9 yr old and only a mani fullest no pedi and only mani pedi for me....I explained I told them what we were getting on the phone and she said repeated we dont have time. So sacrificing myself so the girls could get what they wanted I proceed. The woman begin to run the water for my 9 yr Olds pedi and did not rinse the tub out and then was going to use a used scrub. I told her I want a new one she responded she cleaned it. I repeated my request and she said no. I then had to tell my daughter she could only get polish for her own safety and had to leave completely unsatisfied!!!

I went there years ago when they first opened. Once was enough. Long wait. Poor job.I didnt care for the giggling and whispering and glaring at me. Yeah Im plus size. I know I must look like Godzilla compared to you skinny Asian biatches. But deal with it.Shut up. Do your job. Take my money. Oh and can you hire people that actually know how to file?? Its not rocket science. (Ive been thru the manicuring course myself when I became a hairstylist. I hated doing nails in school but it was mandatory that I took it to get a Cosmo license.)It would take a very cold day for me to go back. Buyer Beware!

Tim and Connie do an amazing job, and for a great price! The pedicure chairs are super comfy and they always have something good playing on the TVs. I moved a few towns away, but I will still come back to Tokyo Nails for my mani/pedis.

Technician was kind but my acrylic nails were not done very well, and the surface of the nail is not smooth. There are some noticable uneven spots.

Was going for YEARS and loved the place now I just recently had a horrible experience they were extremely understaffed and it’s been NOT even a week and my acrylic set is already falling apart she rushed and was very rude
