The vehicle had a lot of dust and dirt on it. The car wash is a much needed service here. We visit it frequently and is does a great jump cleaning at a very reasonable price.

Would you pay $230 for this?We are from out of town, so we googled a detail car wash place with deliver service. This location had a 4.4 stars and good reviews, I even gave the bad reviews a chance. We have a 2015 Dodge Dart we try to keep maintained and even more now as we our expecting our first child, my husband called in and spoke with Janet the Manager/Owner/ Mother. So I joined in the call because my husband put the call on speaker. He asked Janet if they had sanitary package. She said they had medical grade sanitation, that they would be able to shampoo and sanitize all the cloth seats, wipe down and polish the leather/panels with shine and all the interior, do a clay bar so we we’re very excited to hear, that it would be professionally done and sanitized. She said that we should come after 1 o’clock for the clay bar professional to come in. He also asked if they would be able to come out to us and she said we could or you could drop it off here so we decided to drop it off at their location for convenience to them. My husband is taking a course, I am currently eight months pregnant drove the car to their location since this is our only means of transportation, I kindly asked if we could get a ride back to our hotel which is 3.9 miles away. As I pulled up, it looks like a regular quick car wash place but offers detail service even has signs for sanitation. I pull up to the window and Janet says oh you must be Miguel‘s wife I said yes thank you she said to pull up to the cones which I did. After I parked her son Mark then comes to tell her that he has no clay and would have to go to the barn she said to take me back to the hotel and he immediately said well give me your car Janet asked in the meantime what she should do, Mark very quickly replied run it through a five dollar wash and put the chemical on it Janet didn’t know which chemical it was. By the way I was directly in front of them. Was I invisible man? I mean a five dollar car wash when we clearly asked for a full service detail which they quoted us for $140-$200. I was already skeptical and I should’ve walked away at this point but I chose to trust them. Janet who’s vehicle is a blue Corvette spotless tells Mark to fill up the tank and to put it on the business account since they are taking me 3.9 miles to fill it up with premium again her car is in better condition than what my car was turned in at the end.I took a total of 87 photos just to show how dirty the car was returned back to us.(only showing 14 worst photos) I mean back at our local car wash a $40 car wash where that’s the top of the line was in way better condition than what we received. I was truly disappointed from the moment I got it back, Mark said that the mud in the wheel wells was from the 3.9 miles he drove it to our hotel which it hasn’t been raining and this is caked on not something that was wet and just happened it wasn’t even tire shine and the rims not polished but I was too kind it was close to 8 o’clock when I received the vehicle even when they said it would be delivered sooner. I was just scared that I wasn’t getting my car back at all. After the next morning which the car was sitting away from trees and just outside where it wouldn’t have gotten as dirty, myself and my husband did another walk around the vehicle we were truly, truly disappointed my husband called her back and she said “I knew since the moment you called you wanted a free car wash” we never asked for a free car wash we paid you cash which we never received a form of receipt. This place is very dishonest and very unprofessional this is my personal opinion but I’ll leave it up to you to decide if you want to take your vehicle to them I guess the color of my skin or maybe my lack of having a range rover was a reason! I would rate negative stars if it was allowed she was sweet as a peach in the beginning and turn into a nasty toward the end!Update-We took the car to a near by detailer and asked him he said wasn’t clayed, he did it correctly, shampooed it correctly, and sanitized it with the mint & shined tires

Challenging morals! Volume One mix tape.First things first, how did I come upon Texas Star car wash express well long story short for that answer I say Google. My Wife Found them on Google. So I gave them a call, Janet answered the phone she is the owner of the detail shop which at the time I did not know so I had no pre-judgment to make. Now I asked Janet if they offered sanitation services. She promptly informed me. My wife and I we’re having our baby being born and wanting the vehicle detailed and sanitized. Adding to that I commented to Janet that we had dogs and there was dog hair but it was dark hair. Also stating that the door panels had marks on them and the cloth seats I wanted them shampooed. She said yea and we have medical grade sanitation services. Then came to conversation about price, she said that for all those services including a Clay-bar and polish with an exterior detail would be around $140-$200. I said OK no problem the only thing was scheduling. We spoke about how they could come to us to detail the vehicle, or on how we could drop off the vehicle. My wife and I decided to drop off the vehicle for their convenience. Another reasoning behind dropping off the vehicle there was to give them the time needed for those services that we had agreed on. As it would take an excruciating amount of time, we understood. Our life experiences had taught both of us professionally since we both had experience in our lives. So we expected a very good job or at least an OK job because well we have the human being factor right. So we drop off the vehicle, after dropping off the vehicle I came back from my break a seminar course I am taking in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. My wife tells me that the vehicle is still not ready and mind you guys the time we dropped off the vehicle was at 1:10 PM. By the time they delivered the car it was 8:02pm so I viewed the vehicle the next day in clear day light. I was not at the delivery of the vehicle because of my classes. So i called Janet back the next morning at 8:10am she remembered me immediately. I mentioned to her if she had seen the vehicle she had sent me back.I had looked at the vehicle earlier and I mentioned to Janet that the center armrest where we store things we had cleared out and had left nothing in there besides the residual dust and crumbs I asked her if she had cleaned it, she said that she had cleaned it herself. So I asked Janet do the right thing, not ounce did i want the money back it’s just not me. Adding to that I mentioned the floor mats on how they still have dust and grime on them that there was no armor all polish on them. The response was quick and short saying that our customers do not want armor all on there floor mats because their feet slide everywhere. I did what any person would do not mattering, race, color, heritage, I challenged her by the moral human belief system. Janet I also own a small business and I use morals to run my business, do the right thing. She went on a rant and goes on to say” I should of known that you wanted a free car wash when you called.” Btw we paid these immoral beings $230 for a $5 car wash and quick vacuum and wipe down. Ask yourself do you do the right thing when you do business? Would you like to be treated like you don’t matter? Yeah never going back to this place or would ever in any life recommend this overpriced dishonest business to any one.

These guys are great! They got me in, even with a time crunch, and they were able to knock out a car that I was selling. The guy who bought it was thrilled as well! Will definitely return.

I go out of my way to visit this car wash. They have someone manning the booth taking your car wash order....yes a real person not a machine. Never had anything broken. Just all around great experience

I stopped by their today to get a full service wash. By that I mean cleaning of the exterior and a vacuuming of the interior. Nothing major, I wasnt looking for wax job or full on detail. The lady at the ordering counter tells me its too late in the day to have that service even though they are still open for another 2.5 hours. The service I was looking for usually takes all of 20 minutes. Im new to the area and they just lost several vehicles as customers.

The service I received was great. And my car looked excellent. I just felt bad for the young lady in the pay station. She was giving me her sales pitch and I don’t know if it was her boss or not, but an older man was in the background talking all over her and she was offering me products and he was yelling in the background. She was a sweet girl. And I appreciate the Towel Dry and Tire shine service she sold me.

Ive had the monthly pass for a few years now. Great service, great wash, cant beat the price. Ive lost a license plate and antenna (my poor install) and theyve always stopped everything and have them back. Even bought my wife the monthly pass I was so impressed!

I love this car wash and have a monthly membership with them but I dont understand why they do not use brushes to clean the back windows of cars prior to entering the wash. My back window is always dirty and the quick spray they do does not help. Taking the extra step to use brushes before the wash like all the other car washes around would put them a step above.

I wasnt satisfied with the way my car looked afterwards am going to stick to the car wash on jacksboro hwy.

Good wash for the money. Water has no smell. Vacuums have good suction (replaced nozzles) . Machines are sound insulated therefore no irritating noises. Clean and well kept premises. No public restroom.

One of the best automatic car washes in the area! With other car washes, my car (GMC Acadia) is often left with spots on the back that are still dirty. Ive never had this issue with this location. The staff is always super friendly and the property is kept clean as well.

Terrible Customer Service. On October 29, 2017, I took my truck through their car wash and about 90 minutes later I noticed that there was damage to the paint on the front of my truck. I reported my damage to the assistant manager, Mark, who reviewed the surveillance footage and told me that the power sprayers did cause the damage to my vehicle. Mark signed the general managers business card and referred me to a shop they use in situation like this and advised that the car wash would be billed directly for the repairs.Fast forward to November 8, 2017. The repair shop informed me that they have been in contact with the Car Wash and my repairs were scheduled to start the next day. I called the car wash to ask about a rental while my vehicle is in the shop and spoke with Landry, the general manager, who advised he would call me back. About 30 minutes later, Mark, the assistant manager calls me and informs me that they will be unable to pay for my repairs because they believe the damage was mostly caused by a bad paint job at some point in my trucks history.My truck has never been in an accident and has never had a paint job other then when the manufacturer originally painted it. The car wash is also ignoring the fact that they have video showing when the damage occurred. I would also like to point out that until I moved to this area, I used to consistently wash my truck at a car wash in Lewisville with out any issues. It was not until only my second time through this car wash that damage occurred. I pointed all of this information out to the car wash management however they have still not stepped and paid for damages they already promised to cover. I have requested their insurance information and surveillance and have yet to receive it.

Excellant drive through car wash!!!

Took my truck though the wash and I was surprised by how great it turned out. The staff was very helpful and expedient. Prices for the wash were good for the amazing results I got with a great shiny wax that even looked fresh even after a rain. This is the only car wash I will go to from now on. Also I was having trouble with reaching some hard spots when I was vacuuming my truck and the manager was walking by and was helpful showing me some tricks to get it clean. Hands down the best car wash I have even been to.

Very friendly employees. The owner came out and greeted me and shook my hand. The wash is amazing. My Tahoe was fairly muddy and it came out shining. Not to mention the 50 hp vacuums! Unlike no other in the area! Facility is clean and well maintained, the wash gets my truck sparking clean and the vacuums are super powerful and make it a breeze to clean the interior. Every time Ive been in an employee has come up to check on me and assure Im happy and have everything I need. This is the best of the best!

Great value! Ive never been through a wash where my wheels were so clean afterwards! I loved they offered an Armor All so I can wipe my interior as I go through and I bought a towel too so that I can dry the exterior before I vacuumed (but really didnt need it like other wash facilities). Truly is clean and dry the first time!

Car was staff was friendly, car wash was quick, although it didn’t clean some things off and left soap on vehicle the staff was willing to accommodate a free rewash. Vacuums actually have good suction. The site is clean and updated.

Great wash. Car comes out cleaner than any other express I have used. Their tire cleaner really works and the wax puts on an unbelievable shine. Just as if you had done it by hand.

Just went. Met owner, lovely lady! Excellent outside wash. Free self vacuum, good suction. Only thing I suggested to her was having detailers; however they cant at that location.

Good clean wash, a new building opened in the later part of 2017. The Manager is very attentive and accommodating. Hell the whole staff is friendly. Love this place.

Very happy with the way my vehicle turned out. Having an SUV, I determined if the back side gets clean its a good place.

I use the vacuums, they work great, the facility is always clean and has plenty of employees available for help.

Strong vacuum cleaners mechanism works well to clean vehicle some employees just going thru the motions though.

Owners are very nice and service oriented. Car washing cleans great. Purchase monthly packages for unlimited washes.

Im new to the area. Been here about 2 months. Just recently got a membership to come here. Im super satisfied with this place. I typically wash my car about 4 to 5 times a week. The location is perfect. Never to busy. Vacuums actually work very well. Very well maintained. Im going to be sad when i have to relocate again for work and have to lose this place.

Worse $12 Ive ever spent, the guy that prepped my car sprayed the front a little and then sent me through the tunnel and I still have bugs on the front of my car, I didnt even waste my time by saying anything.
