This company offers people great incentives for unlimited earning potential, a chance to grow and expand your recruiting experience to open doors that were previously not possible. Contractors are well cared for, positions are high-paying (most of the time), and the recruitment team strives to keep people happy and working, whatever it takes! Some of the reviews on this company are completely inaccurate and have nothing to do with an aviation staffing company. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking a rewarding career or to a contractor looking for a great contract position in aviation!
I used to work for this company and was encouraged to review the company to boost public image. As a recruiter, I was laid off due to COVID. Within about six weeks, I was brought back to work as a salaried position with no title, no specific job description, and no clear vision or purpose, other than pushing to get people hired for jobs for future openings. Because of COVID, I was desperate. One day, I had to leave as my wife was being admitted to the hospital in labor with our first child. The next day, while we were in the hospital, APA called me to let me know that they were making cuts and I was one of those cuts. I wouldn’t recommend working here by any means. A few good employees within what could be the best agency but poor management makes that impossible. Others may have a different opinion but I felt this company could care less about me or my family.
My daughter is taking classes here. They keep prolonging her flight test. First, it took forever to just get cleared to take the test. The instructor would tell her that she did well and he could sign off right now, but would recommend another practice. She would come in the next day and after the the practice he told her he couldnt sign off. They are all about the money. They will schedule you to take your flight test on a day that is rainy or windy. Then ask that you come back to take your flight. By the time its all over, you will be out of $3k. Stay away from this school!!!
At first I was excited to have this recruiting team work with me. But after 4 attempts to get me on a position, not a single one came through. Wether it be that the recruiter never followed up or the posistion was filled and not taken down. No one likes to get their hopes up 4 times for nothing. You might as well do it the old fashioned way and go hand your resume into the employer.
