I have lived here for a year now and I recently transferred from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom and my experience has been great! It was a smooth transition. The leasing office had everything ready for me and the manager, Rachel, has been super helpful as well. Any questions I had she answered. The communication between tenant and office is outstanding. The service team has been nothing but good to me for the past year as well. 5/5 for me.
The most rude, worthless, and despicable office staff I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. There is one in particular (I wish I remembered her name, hopefully shes gone by now) but she was a complete monster. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Including myself, I have had many friends and family who lived here and they can all tell you the same story with how awful staff is here. Parking is also a joke.
So many issues since moving in last year. Flooding on not just the bottom floor but third floor on down, due to poor maintenance on roofing. I get that not everything can be routinely maintained, but when there is an emergency the resolution of sandbag it yourself is not acceptable.Then the issues of a leak from the third floor coming to the bottom floor. Emergency maintenance call later and took 24 hours to respond, not just to come look but for a response. Plumbers not called until 2 days later to repair, then they leave a huge hole in the bathroom and said they dont fix holes....THAT THEY CAUSED. No repair to that until 2 days later when it was a surprise visit.Now the AC is out. Call into after hours emergency again and no call back. None at all btw. Two calls and 18 hours later and we will try and get someone out there. It is 90+ outside and 85 in the apartment and you will try!Now they want everyone to go online and leave a positive review for a chance to win a gift card. So they are trying to bribe people for good reviews. I know this is a grey area with the FTC and TAA, but not sure I can trust a company that uses that tactic in any way.This is my warning. They are cheap but do not offer any kind of help once they get you in. When you are renting them, you are taking all the risk that comes along with it.
Ive had a good experience at Lofts on Hulen so far. My unit is a 2 bedroom with a loft upstairs & I am so in love with the layout. The community is quiet & I rarely hear my neighbors. If it werent for me having to relocate for my job, I would renew my lease and stay at Lofts. I love the events that the have each month. Theyve really been a nice change of pace & scenery since the pandemic has started & I enjoy meeting the people.
Parking here is horrible at night, get prepared to park you car on the other side of the complex. Other than that I love it here. Yes 3 stars the parking is that bad. Ask to not be by any corners and in the back where visitor parking is plenty. Has 3 times the parking for 3 building and 15 parking spots for 3 buildings in the front corner.
They look so nice on line.scheduled an appointment and went out to see them. They were. Nothing at all as shown.It was just nasty.
They are horrible. They dont fix anything and the parking is horrible. Horrible customer service. If you have any problems they do not care and will take forever you fix it IF they even fix it. Shame!
Save your self a headache and money do not move here . They recently changed management and the new management is worst then the old management . I have a leak in my bathroom reported over 5 times and no one still has came to even check it . Outlets are loose in apartments reported that to and still nothing .The pool is never opened but when you ask what’s going on with the pool they say they cleaning it well they been cleaning it all summer and it’s still closed . Gym is closed so all the amenities they advertise is lies because you never have access to it . Definitely would not be renewing my lease in April !!!!!!!!!!!!! Beware of this place and do not move here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RUN!!! Please run. There’s bugs everywhere and my air goes out every week. The parking sucks and I seriously would not recommend this place to a homeless person. Spending too much on rent to not have a fully functioning air conditioner.UPDATE: it’s been 6 days.......it’s still not working.
Worst place to apply to. It is absolute hell. I have never seen worse attitude from management. Would not recommend even APPLYING.
This will be my first year staying in the Lofts of Hulen. I must say its has been a pleasant experience. The staff in the office are aways there to help and solve any issue that arise In and outside of you your apartment. If you have kids Lofts on Hulen always keep them in the loop by providing fun events, to ensure everyones included. I appreciate being able to call this place home!
Where to start. I am on my second lease with Lofts on Hulen. They have requested residents to provide a good review multiple times for the chance to receive a gift card. I didnt leave my review at that time. I dont care about a gift card, I want a good place to live.So now I will leave my good review of this complex.To begin the apartments are pretty cool, the high ceilings and open floor plans are very nice. The kitchens are small and out dated, no ice maker and cheap appliances. They do the job and I guess and Im getting what I pay for as the rent is inexpensive for the area. I believe this to be the case since my electric bill can hit almost $400 in the summer to keep the apartment at a balmy 78+ degrees. Make sure you budget for this. They could fix this but it would require new AC units. I know because when they replaced one of the units, (my apartment has two and they cant cool the small bedroom I have) the side of the apartment that got the new unit stays nice and cool.Over 8 months ago I had issues with a neighbor and the noise. After requesting something to be done over and over and over (this started prior to covid) I was told that I should move. When asking who was going to cover the expense I was informed that they were waving the transfer fee of $300 but moving was to be out of my pocket. Interesting because the neighbor was violating the terms of the lease but I had to pay.On to the next, the office staff are amazing, until you sign the lease. Do not expect any communication from them no matter how much you call (no one answers you get an answering service that no one replies to) or if you use their resident app they just close the ticket with no communication and you are left wondering if anything was done. My favorite part is that you can request to be contacted prior to service done, you wont hear anything from them before or after. They will show up at their convenience and enter with a minor in the house with out your knowledge. Its all good your kids will let you know they were there. You can request to speak to management, but they will not get back to you. I dont know how many times they have asked for my phone number. It hasnt changed in years and was provided at the time of signing the lease, I guess they dont keep any records.Currently I have requested pest control due to roaches, once again they showed up unannounced and treated the kitchen, that is all. I get the pleasure of having the random roach crawl across my feet in the living room. I have personally hired a cleaning service to come in and clean and treat since the management is not concerned with my living conditions.If you like to watch the TV show COPS I highly recommend Lofts on Hulen, you will get to see the show live as the police department is here on the regular. Late nights everyone is out and running rampant, so if that is your style the Lofts are for you!This is my good review of the Lofts on Hulen. I encourage their management or corporate office to reach out to me. I doubt anyone will. I really only wanted to leave one star but the apartments really are pretty cool.Question is, what are you willing to tolerate?Update......I replied to the owner via the email left here and no response. I guess I shouldnt be surprised, the communication here is horrible. Right now I am locked out of my home due to the privacy lock catching on the door jam and cannot get in. Multiple phone calls and requests through the app and 0 response. It has been 2 1/2 hours. Nothing. I have a locksmith on the way. The administration here is horrendous. I dropped my rating from 2 stars to 1. I wish I could give 0.

Lofts on Hulen is awesome! I have been a resident here since July of 2019 and it has been nothing short of a pleasant experience. I love how spacious my apartment is! I honestly felt like the pictures online didnt do fair justice, because my unit far exceeded my expectations in person! My move-in experience was smooth and my apartment was in immaculate condition upon move-in. The maintenance staff has been not only hard-working, but they are quick to fix things that are out of place and are integrable, which is important! I have seen a noticeable difference in the morale of the office staff since the beginning of my stay here. The staff has been more than accommodating in addressing any areas of concern and the manager Sheila is great! Very sweet and professional. Oh, and the community events are a blast as well! I would recommend staying here.
So far we have had an awesome experience with applying for the lofts! Super respectable ladies in the office and very understanding, we will hear something by Monday if we get approved or not! But even if we dont they are definitely really amazing looking apartments with very professional staff.

Whatever you do, DO NOT MOVE HERE. The staff is rude and lack work ethics, they tell you one thing then do another. Apartments are not worth the price you pay for them. You have to call to have pest control come out but they charge you monthly for them when they suppose to come every month. You can go the portal and sign up for a maintenance request and it takes weeks for them to get to you. My 2bdroom bathe tub was clogged up for exactly 2 weeks and they finally came out and oh I had to sit in an HOT apartment for 3 days, they didn’t bring any fans or nothing, each day they told me someone was coming out. I’ve lived here for 2 years and they are on the 2nd set of management, being the old ones back at least they got things done . BE AWARE !!
Had to change my Original review.. I am a Guide on Google, therefore expected to tell the truth. I currently live here. When I moved in it was going thru renovations. Well it looks good, I have not had issues that were not handled in a good time span. That being said. This place is going thru some changes.. Dont want to say too much because we have new management again. So I will come back here soon to give you a better idea of what is going on.
Been living at this apartments for two years now.Recently the whole complex was purchased my a new managing company.My family and I have been living here paying rent consistently on time, take care of our unit.My wife and I have been expanding our family and are now on our 3rd child.We were working with the previous management company on upgrading our unit to fit with our family.A one bedroom unit is not suitable for 4 people. With on on the way.It has now been 4 weeks since I emailed leasing as well as the property manager. And no reaponse.I spoke with the assistant manager and she was wonderful.However upon calling this morning I ran into someone new apparently but the name of Tammie.Absolutely useless information.She knew nothing about what we needed to do, instead told me to do what I’ve already been doing for the past 2 months.Asked for her to let me speak with someone who has been there longer and knew what they were doing. In which she responded by hanging up.In the entire two years I’ve lived here this never happened.
Stopped by for a tour a couple days ago and absolutely fell in love! Just from walking in the office i knew i would have a good experience here. The office and model were clean and smelled so good. Everyone was so friendly. i would recommended these to anyone looking for a nice place to live.
These are beautiful apartments and the staff is excellent. They also communicate changes effectively and in a timely manner so you’re not surprised. One of the major things I love are the monthly events. The events are always unique and ladies that put these together are absolutely phenomenal! During a difficult time of my life Marlena and Rae prayed for me and my family (unforcefully) and were the sweetest and loving individuals I’d ever met. This is key reason why I’ve even opted to renew my lease! I can’t say enough how fantastic they are and how much of a positive impression they’ve left on my life.

This community is absolutely amazing!! My Loft has two bedrooms with a den I have so much space, and two separate bathrooms, one on one side and the other in my guest bedroom. Beautiful pond in the middle of the community. The office has been so amazing, I couldnt be happier staying here, so close to so many shopping centers and amazing eating spots. Must view, so many great renovations has been happening, its just evolving!!! Keep it up :)
Renter beware !!!!!!! WORST place I have ever lived at out of all my years of living. Office management Is negligent, unresponsive, very rude and unprofessional. Apartment was roach infected and when I called to put a order in and it took 4 weeks for them to spray. Neighbors left trash all in front of my house. My front door broke and it took 2 days for them to come out and fix it. Refrigerator leaks. I would not recommend one with a FAMILY to live in this terrible community. I just really regret giving them a penny out of my pocket and to save y’all some STRESS. Please avoid this commmunty.
I stay at lofts my apartment is so beautiful my daughters LOVE their area upstairs and the rest of the apartment is so big! When we moved in it wasn’t ready and that can be frustrating but Omega in maintenance made all the right calls and got people on it right away! The staff is friendly and the new manager Shelia is very helpful. Will upload pictures once everything is clean but trust me it’s a beautiful oh and QUIET apartment literally feels like you live next to no one! Love it! And I’m sure my neighbors love it too seeing how I have two little ones! Lol they have some bad reviews but it’s actually a really great place!
Lofts on Hulen may have alot of bad reviews, BUT it is what you make of it. There is always going to be something wrong in someone eyes. Since I have been here the staff have been very professional with me. Any time that I have a question they are always available to answer my question. I am really happy with the fact that I receive text and emails about anything, that i need to know about the property or in the community. Especially during this pandemic, they have done several different things on the property to uplift the tenants spirits. It may not mean alot to other people, but for me it makes me feels good to know that the staff cares about its tenants. And in my book management means alot.
So far its looking real good, they attending to all issues. the pond looks real good and the pool looking great.I hope its a start of big things to come. Better get in now when the get is cheaper than later when its all done. just saying. I will keep you posted
I would like to say that I truly enjoyed my visit today the front office staff greeted me as soon as I came in with a smile, she offered me something to drink and they even had cookies! She took her time and went over everything in detail and the property was so nice and clean I really appreciated that.

I am new to Texas and coming from out of state I was looking for a new home. I was told to look in Hulen area of Fort Worth because of the affordability. After visiting the apartments across the street, who wouldn’t even show me an apartment, I came to the Lofts on Hulen and was immediately greeted warmly when entering the leasing office. They also had cookies and water! Nice.I was shown a room and it was nice and spacious with high ceilings. I was given an choice classic and renovated apt. The renovated was nice with new appliances and AFFORDABLE!! It’s obvious which one I went with. This place is awesome and I get helluva great experience everytime I visit the leasing office. The apartments overall are clean and homely. I’m thankful for finding the Lofts and making them my home.
AC hasn’t worked since moving in 4 months ago. I’ve requested maintenance several times. Different management has recently taken over and seems to have a better handle on things and actually appears to be making an effort to fix things
My husband and I have lived at Lofts on Hulen for 2 years. We’re actually sad to go, but we chose to move closer to my husband’s job, cutting his drive from 37 minutes to 7 minutes.Our experience there started and ended very well, and I can’t speak highly enough of Sarah Covington. When we were first looking for apartments, she was very informative and the apartment model was pretty nice that the decision to choose the Lofts was an easy one.The maintenance staff has always been prompt and helpful, and weve never had a single instance of any kind of pest. If access was ever needed to our apartment, they always worked well with our schedule so we could be there. Theres also a nice fenced in dog park and a playground for kids.Throughout the past 2 years, my husband and I have faced a lot of ups and downs. Our daughter was born prematurely towards the end of our first year at the Lofts. Everyone has been so accommodating to some of our needs. There has been some work needed specifically to our model that they have postponed until our move so she is not exposed to any chemicals.Im going to be frank. If you pay your bills on time and treat the staff well, this is a good place to live. I had so many great conversations with Sarah, and I would wholeheartedly trust her to watch my daughter. She made the experience moving there a breeze, she made living there a dream, and shes made moving from there easy. Its bittersweet to leave because it has been our home and I am going to miss seeing all the familiar faces.If I could provide any advice to the Lofts itself, I would say the gate probably needs to be fixed again. For some reason the exit gate gets stuck a lot. Some more visitor parking closer to the mailboxes would be nice since our guests typically had to park at the back of the complex and walk a good distance.Overall, fantastic experience. If it was closer to my husbands work, we would not have moved.
No response to calls about repairs and non functioning A/C. We have a newborn or his can be very dangerous. Kathy in the office hung up on me when I called about this. Super unprofessional! Do not move here! It’s a dump and the service is disgraceful. I’m a very fair person but honestly I find nothing good to say about The Lofts on Hulen. My fault I suppose for believing in their lies.
I know I already posted a review but I just want people to know that I am so proud of my apartment and the maintenance is absolutely awesome! We have a new manager who is really trying to change! We even had a manager mixer to meet her! Sarah the assistant really does help anyway she can with rent and is there for her residents. Shonda and Harris are also very helpful! I love my home!
Roaches. Warped ceilings and walls. Roaches. Leaking toilet. Roaches. CARS getting STOLEN out of the lot. If you don’t have a washer/dryer, and the closets are too small to fit regular sized w/d, you have to pay to use the laundry facility. Specifically asked for wood floors, and changed my move in date to assure I got them, still ended up with carpet. A/C doesn’t really work. Nowhere to store anything, especially kitchen. Did I mention roaches? This place is a total and complete dump & they’ll lie to you in order to get you to move in. Can’t wait to move out. Very disappointed.

My son and daughter-in-law lived in this complex. They moved out on December 7, 2018 to move in with us while he goes to Navy Boot Camp and School. They received a letter stating that they were due back a portion of their deposit totaling $592.92. To this date (February 26, 2019) they have not received their deposit. Every time my daughter in law calls over there, she gets the run around. There is no corporate office to call and there is no one to give her an answer on when she can expect payment for what they are owed. This is getting beyond ridiculous. This is a young couple who needs this money, particularly while my son is off in boot camp preparing to serve our country. I want a number for my daughter in law to call so she can get her money. HER money. Not the apartment complexs money. You owe this money to her. Stop stalling and pay them what they are owed!
I have been a faithful payer for paying my rent for a year this month I fell victim to fraud on my account as I was charged twice for rent so both was declined and also someone transferred money out my account I explain to the office I was told they will be putting a 3 day notice on my door didn’t care about my good payment history wouldn’t give me to the end of the month to get the rent In but it’s okay I wonder what they’ll do when they have to be in my position one day !!!!

At first I had some issues w the place but now that Ive been here a year, I appreciate the maintenance. And the pool was nice and clean all season although it didnt open until the end of june. The area is a little sketchy. Good location as far as stores and doctors offices go. people are rude and play their music for the whole complex to hear at all hours.

When I first moved here the management was iffy. I had an electrical issue with my apt that did not get taken care of for over 48 hours causing me to lose almost all the food in my apt. After speaking with the manager and eventually corporate Madera I finally got reimbursed for the miscommunication leading to me losing my refrigerated goods I had just loaded up from Costco and the 2 days I did not spend in my apt.The very next month the apt above me had a water pipe burst due to the on and off freezing weather we had here in Fort Worth. At this point I was ready to just call it quits since I had essentially a Niagara Falls flood in my apt and had dealt with a blown electric meter the month before.Im giving this apt complex a 5 star review because of the new manager Anne A. She made a very conscious effort to right everything wrong and really cared about my experience. She got me into a brand new unit within days of the accidental flooding. Paid for moving expenses and even checked in periodically to make sure everything was going okay.Under previous management this place would get 2 stars but I believe the current manager here can and will raise the standard of living at the Lofts on Hulen. So if youre looking for an affordable place to live with a good team at your disposal I would recommend the Lofts on Hulen. Its close to my current job here in Cleafork shopping center and there are other amenities that make it worth it.
This place was quite awful. I moved in and the blinds wouldnt slide on the track and took them a month to get it fixed. I had a rat problem and roach problem for months before they took care of it. A fire happened outside of my house because the neighbors set their trash next to the apartment siding. I went overseas and when I can back someone had sat on the hood of my car and damaged it. In the year that I lived there I never used the pool because it was unsafe and closed the entire time. And then after I left they only gave me a portion of my deposit with no actual reason why after I called and went it after a few weeks I just moved on.Its in quite disarray. They try to repaint to make the aesthetics pretty but its overpriced for what you actually get.
Worst place ever to live! If you’re thinking about moving here - don’t! The apartments are disgusting and look nothing like the online photos. The people at the office are RUDE - especially Diana. She has the personality of a dead snail. They are not helpful. Maintenance is loud and always in the way. Trash is inconvenient, everything needs repaired, and it’s just a trashy place all around. Wish I could have given it ZERO stars. And wish I could have seen my ACTUAL apartment instead of a fake setup that looks nothing like the real thing before signing lease. Save yourself the trouble!
This place if full of noisy, agressive chihuahuas that bark day & night. People blasting music. Walls are paper thin. The other tenants have nasty smells that leak into my unit. Infested with feral cats. Little to no grass. The sprinkler schedule is dumb. They water the side of the buildings and cause mudslides. Cheap carpets, old walls and paint. My dishwasher and stove barely work has a 70s woody package. My fridge stinks but they didnt care when I moved in. Maintenance is fairly prompt, though.
Seems like no one on staff knows what theyre doing, especially management. My neighbors and I have had certain issues and concerns for a while, most of which are left unanswered or unaddressed. Its simple really, you expect to get what you pay for and not what management wants to eventually get around to.

I love it here, the lay outs are beautiful. And the maintenance team respond very quickly when a work order is placed. The only thing I would like to see happen is the appliances be upgraded, and the security actually be on duty. I cant tell you how many times my car has been vandoliced since Ive been here. I wasnt at all surprised to find out I wasnt the only one, I almost feel unsafe living her by myself.

The worst apartments I’ve ever lived in I don’t even know where to start, the lofts use to be so much better. Now the apartment people don’t even care enough to clean up the surroundings it’s so disgusting over here, and oh let’s hope you don’t need anything fixed because they won’t answer the phone you’ll always get a voicemail. They charge way too much for what the residents have to go through. And at this point it seems like they’re just letting any and everybody move over here. For some odd reason there is always broken glass in my bridgeway again that’s from moving any and everybody over here.. they don’t even care enough to keep their own bridgeway clean. So if you’re thinking about moving here DONT!

Where do I start with this train wreck of a community? My cousin took me to the rental office(as a referral) to check the availability & get an application. I wasnt shown a model because my cousins apartment was the exact same floor plan. After asking the leasing consultant 3x to see a model, she wouldnt show it to me due to my cousin having the same type of unit. Fast forward to me returning the application, I was told I needed a co-signer because I didnt make enough money. Fine. I returned the next morning with my Mother who co-signed for me. A few days later, I was contacted & told that an apt complex that I leased from 3.5 years ago said I owed them a balance & I needed to provide something showing my balance was $0 because the property was being uncooperative with giving information to Lofts on Hulen. Not even 2 hours after being contacted, I provided my receipt that I didnt owe any money to the previous property. I was then called the next day, asking if I was able to bring proof of my balance(the employees have horrible communication among each other). I assume after the receipt I brought in was retrieved, I was contacted again telling me I was approved. Maybe 2 hours later I was called by the property manager telling me I was denied because the former property notified them that my receipt was falsified. Yet, I was told they were being uncooperative. So, after getting my paperwork, they continued to call the former property asking for information even after telling me I was approved. Altogether Im out $280 for nothing. Dont waste your time or money! There are people living there with verifiable evictions on their rental history but I was denied for allegedly owing a rental property. Complete BS!
These apartments are the worst! I am currently a resident and I cannot wait for my lease to be up! When I first signed my lease they did not have my apartment ready they had to put me in a semi clean apartment with stained carpet. There was paint on the toilet and bathtub and the kitchen light did not work (going on a year and they still have not fixed) when it started getting hot the ac did not work I had to threaten them and say I was hiring an attorney so they could finally fixed it and it still doesn’t work it’s stay at 75 and when it’s really hot it’s almost 80 in the apartment. Not to mention the trail of glass that is constantly in the halls stairs and entrance!! I CAN NEVER GET A HOLD OF THEM! Never! If I want anything done I have to physically go to the office but it’s hard for me since I work the hours they are open. I have been calling for days now all day literally just to get a few questions answered even sent an email and nothing. My lease is up in oct and I am counting the days!
Horrible complex the back exit gate screeches and makes extremely loud noise everytime it opens. You can hear it from inside your apartment has kept me up all night.
Office staff are all horrible. Rudest people I have ever dealt with! They dont care about tenants at all. In fact, the manager, Shannon, is actually posting like she is a tenant to try and make it sound like she care! Shes ridiculous!!!Do yourself a favor and save yourself the stress and bs. Cant wait for my lease to expire and get outta this dump!
When I moved out they tried to charge me for removing couches out of my apartment. I only had two couches and they went with me. When I asked for proof they had none. It took me threatening them with legal action to take the charges off. The girls up front were always cool, but management lacks real people skills. Roaches were a problem coming from my neighbors and all the apartments did was put poison in my apartment instead of kicking out the neighbors. These apartments are super outdated. One positive, they are super cheap.
My husband and I cannot wait untill we move in. Anne used to be our property manager. We know we maintenance work will be done in a timely fashion.Update... We move in on Auf 9 and we do not have access to the closet on our patio to hook up our washer and dryer. Air filter needs to be changed and the patio door doesnt lock very well. We have put in work orders and nothing is being completed. Anne moved to another property and now nothing is being completed. I am asthmatic and need the AC to be functional. It is hotter in my apartment than what it is outside. We need clean clothes and cant wash landry because our washer and dryer is in our living room not able to be used.Update. AC is repaired and laundry closet also is repaired. Things are looking up for us here.
Worse place to live!!! The late fees are ridiculously high for no reason because the apartments are not worth all the money. They have no events for residents. Only notice that are put on people doors are for late fees, evictions, or towing. As long as they get their money at the beginning of the month. Nothing else even matters. I recommend them to NO ONE. They are not caring at all or try to work with you. I put a maintenance request in on November 3rd, but what I put my request for was not fixed until the 21st. But, that next day they had been inside my apartment and put a notice on the inside of my door to make sure they get their money!!!! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY!!! How about yall start doing inspections. I dont pay my high rent every month to live with ROACHES and BED BUGS! All they tell me is well put you on the list for pest control! Ill be so glad when my lease is up because I REFUSE to renew @ the Lofts on Hulen! TERRIBLE living conditions especially if you have little kids!!!!
I would NOT recommend these apartments to ANYONE.Our AIR CONDITIONING has gone out 8 times within 6 months!
Worst place to live. Sure its cheap but its not even worth the little you do pay. The manager Charles doesnt want to deal with any of the problems that go on around here. There is dog poop all over the place and they dont care. Have injured myself several times on the walkways because they are so slippery after it rains, even trying to be careful. They just dont want to deal with any complaints you may have. Promised us to install ceiling fans if we bought them and they refused after we signed the lease. Tried grilling far from the building but wont let us. Only allowed to grill in the park where you cant walk even one foot without stepping in dog poop. This isnt even good enough to be a homeless shelter. I wouldnt recommend this place even to my worst enemy. The apartment looked decent before we moved in but things start falling apart. Barely touched the corner of a wall and the paint fell off. By the way, there are no installations on the ceiling to even put a fan. Had to run wire up the wall myself. If you rent from here then Im sorry. I myself am trying to find reasons to break my lease.
If i could post with NO STARS I would. This complex is by far the WORST place for you to live. The people in the office are never there when you need them. The buildings have structural issues that they havent fixed and are covering up with new siding and a paint job. The apartments itself were built i know in the 60s because there are no lights in the bedrooms. The renovations cost the resident when they fix an issue. The office staff creates more stress on the resident when it comes to aid animals and out right refused my psychiatrist prescribed and professionally trained support animal. Only allowing her when i threatened to sue for violation of tenant rights. Oh and to top it off they have an untreated mosquito breeding cesspool by the office they refuse to take care of.
My husband and I were in 2 weeks ago looking at apartments as it turned out a B2 (2 bed 2 bath) wasn’t able to view for a few days... I literally called and left 5 voice mails to see if it was ready to view I GOT NO RESPONSE! So I went in today to ask about it turns out they have already leased it out and the “manager” was out on site without her phone for the employee who took down my name and number for when her “manager” came back so she could find out if she could show me a B2 that would be coming up for lease soon... did I get a call??? HAHA NO! This place is a joke... I went around the corner to Ridgecrest which they will have a 2 bed 2 bath for us to move into in a week that is 200 more sq ft and $100 less than The Lofts... not to mention Ridgecrest ACTUALLY ANSWERED THEIR PHONES EVERY TIME I CALLED AND ARE PLEASANT TO WORK WITH! Which is why we put a deposit down TODAY when we walked in... so if the Lofts flat out ignore someone who is eager to be a tenant it makes me question on how they treat their actual tenants....
Its ok but needs better and efficient maintenance personnel.
Would not recommend going there. Tried signing up for an apartment had the worse experience trying to set up the paper work. Recommended finding a nother place too much hassle. The apartment across the street nicer to me.

Hello I DO NOT ADVICE NOBODY TO MOVE INTO THESE APTS, I moved out of these APTS Sept 30th turned in the keys and did a walk thru with the so called assistant manager, went back to the office she asked me to write my address and date it so that they could send me my deposit so I did. Three weeks later I get a letter saying I owe over $2,000 which is q lie because if I owed why did I get a notice at all before I moved out, she told me everything was fine so now I have to go to corporate and take legal action because these people messed up my rental history, hung up on me more than once when we tried to get some answers and they kept my deposit after f**king me out of money, they are not luxury APTS at all we just needed something at the last minute, everything is outdated and the people in the office have no idea what they are doing except f**king people out their hard earned money mind you you we cleaned the whole apt when we moved and the manger Sarah said it was fine. They are liars and con artists so I would advise nobody to ever move into these APTS I promise you will definitely regret it.
The staff is very sweet! The new management is doing great things to better this place!

If I could rate these apartments 0 stars I would. I currently live here & am counting down the days till my lease is up. The office NEVER answers the phone, & they never listen to any sort of maintenance request. Pest control has came atleast 5 times and seems like the roaches just get worse. But they sure are quick to leave a note on the inside of my door when my rent is posted THE MORNING AFTER BEING DUE for a $100 late fee. A couple months ago I had a leak in my ceiling and they didnt listen until water was pouring into my apartment. I wouldnt recommend these apartments to my worst enemy.

You can call at all times of the day and still wont be able to get ahold of someone. You get the same message our community team is busy right now and it doesnt matter what time at all.
I lived here for a short while an holy jesus ! Like so many others the fees are all over the place ! When I got behind on my first month they made it impossible to come back from ! They told me I couldnt pay my rent because on the 5th of the month they put you in eviction if you havent paid and once in eviction I would not be able to pay ! Then I was told I could 3 days before court an the end of the month ! When I told them I would pay the $1600 but obviously I would need a minute on the next month because we were already about to start the next month .. I was told that was fine and low an behold they turned around on the 5th and put me back in eviction lol ! They didnt give any time ! They dont care about the residents ! The Maintenance guys were awesome but they went through quite a few in the short time I was there ! An then when I moved I stayed with a friend who lives there too ! This man has been a resident for a long time ! But when the office got wind i was there they called me a liar, threatened to throw me in jail, tow my cars, and the manger shannon, she made it very clear that she owned all the apartments..ALLLLL of them ! An if she doesnt like your guest, she will make them leave an if you dont make them leave because she doesnt like them (tantrum), she will try an get them arrested ! I have her recorded acting like she really owns these apartments ! This is not a staff ! Diane has some experience in what shes doing but Shannon has no idea on how to control herself more less a apartment complex ! Diane should be the manger of this complex..no doubt ! Yes she is straight to the point but you can tell she has a heart ! Shes not out to try and embarrass her tenants ! She doesnt act extra like Miss Shannon ! But until then my advice is Steer clear of these apartments !
A friend of mine lives in these apts. They look nice on the outside. But the inside is garbage. Its like they tried to make something old look new. They just made it look ragged & older. Glad my friend is moving out. The swimming pool was hardly ever open this summer. The residents had to go to other places to swim. You use to could pay your rent online. But not anymore, the apts. cancelled their contract. So they dont make it convient to pay your rent anymore. They didnt even send a written notice to let their tenants know. Some tenants didnt even know til they tried to pay their rent online. It wasnt letting the transaction go thru.
Staff were helpful. Environment us nice. Affordable.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! If you have any other possible option, maybe even a van down by the river, then live there instead.MANAGEMENT: Lofts on Hulen are absolute thieves. It comes from corporate. They are not helpful and take their sweet time to get any maintenance done. They do not warn you or provide notice if there will be an outage. They even went into my apartment when I was not there without any warning ahead of time. Of course they will deny this and say that they posted something on the door and it mustve flew off or something....right because that happens multiple times. They will gouge you for every single penny possible. Besides rent they will tack stuff on constantly and state that it is in the contract. Their RENT DUE DATE CHANGES MONTH TO MONTH and if you do not have autopay setup, get ready to pay fines.RESIDENTS: There is NOISE at all times of the night. People playing loud music. It is impossible for any Professional to sleep and go to work. When I complained, their response was just to call the cops or try to work it out myself with the neighbors down the street instead of management trying to work it out with the people residing there. THEY HAVE A SECURITY GUARD that would not even ask the neighbors to keep it down at when the music went past midnight. They were NOT HELPFUL at all. I noticed this in the first week and I asked them if I could get out of my contract because I have a very demanding job and I need proper rest, they told me I would have to pay 3 months of rent and find another tenant! I knew it was downhill from there. I had to sleep with earplugs in every night.UTILITIES: My ELECTRICITY BILL on average was $170/month and I am not there from majority of the day and I only have a laptop and TV which I barely use. They were of no help when I tried to ask them for help. While the utility company is different entity Lofts on Hulen is tied in with them and only offer a few companies. While I cant blame them for this, there is definetly something shady occuring.EXTRA FEES: They have renters insurance sewage and maintenance fees which is easily $40-50 on top and they do not even treat for bugs around the complex. They do the bare minimum and pocket the money from hundreds of residents. I have had bugs in my apartment and I only had a TV and 2 couches with literally the bare essentials. My place was extremely clean to say the least.I am not bitter or just want to provide a negative review I am just stating the facts. If you dont believe me live there and you will be posting similar messages afterwards. I am extremely upset because they sold this place as an amazing place to live but as soon as you sign that lease management is nowhere to be found. If I ever needed to speak with someone they always told me to come to the office and they could never help over the phone. PEOPLE HAVE 9-5 JOBS and dont always have the luxury to take a day off to come talk to management. Factoring how much my rent was and how unhelpful management is THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE AND I WISH THERE WAS A NEGATIVE NUMBER OF STARS I COULD PROVIDE THEM. Pay more money but live elsewhere! Because in the end the price will end up being the same but atleast you will have peace of mind.
These are some of the worst apartments Ive ever lived in. They are supposed to be gated yet they arent. Ive almost gotten into several head on collisions from idiots going out the entrance while Im coming in and complaining to management doesnt do any good. People openly sell drugs. Residence are being fined for not picking up after their dogs which is great except that they fined me for someone elses dog. I tried to dispute it telling them that I wasnt even home at the time it supposedly happened but they said one of their staff saw me not clean up after my dog. If I could afford to break my lease I would. This place is a joke and definitely not worth the money I spend for staying here.
Worse experience Ive ever had with apartments and management wish I could give them negative stars..lived there 4 months they had 3 murders, 2 rapes and countless burglary. Gate was never fixed as promised and then when I moved and paid all fees to get out early they still tried to charge extras. Let neighbors leave trash out for days in front of their doors and rodents and bugs get in it and drag it all over and the drug element there is awful! Charge you each month for pest control in 4 months I lived there guy came one time and sprayed the base of the front door didnt even spray apartment I have it on security video which you better have if you live there. Management doesnt wanna hear about pest just want you to pay fees. The parking is awful and they say you cant have pit bulls there but everyone does and lets them crap everywhere even on side walks. Never felt safe living there so glad I got out! Save yourself some time, money and hassle! Rent somewhere else!
Every time I needed something fix they came right out just a few people in the office are nice and its some that are very rude dont know how to talk to people its a alright place to live U have to give respect in order to get respect I think it should be one sent rate for the rent but over all I like it here
I have waited so long for my lease to end to write this review! THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!! First off with the old management the neighbor next to me passed away and they didnt find him until a week later after everyone noticed a nasty smell and I was gone on vacation and didnt know anything until I got home a I called to figure out what the smell was and it took a nieghbors to tell me and the office said they couldnt do anything about it and they were rude, they were just going to clean out that apt so I had to get a hotel for almost 2 weeks because the smell was unbearable especially since he was literally on the other side of the wall. Second off the new management is remodeling the outside but the plumbing SUCKS alteast 2 times a month the water comes out black, pitch black! I dont know what but I keep catching its either the maintenance man or the land scalper going they my trash!!!!! The office even charged me an addition charge because they said I didnt take out my trash which I did and I told her it couldnt have been me and she said that they had some go thru my trash and found my mail! Its all bs just living here! My upstairs toilet leaked so bad it left a nasty whole in my ceiling that you can see from downstairs and even water spots on the wall, this is my second summer living here and the pool is still not opened ! So dont move in thinking youll have pool access ! Honestly just dont move on here its a waste of money and a joke as apartment
I chose not to lease from this property. While sitting in the lobby I overheard one of the leasing agents on the phone loudly say, Oh, Lord, these damn black people dont understand a thing you say to them. I provided my name and contact information to the leasing agent sitting in the front and shared what I CLEARLY heard. Admittedly she was working with 2 other potential new residents and perhaps did not hear the vile comments as a consequence of her involvement with them. In driving up to the property there are persons of color present. So, it would seem this property has no problems with the green cash, just the black and brown skin. I did speak with Ashleigh, the leasing manager, who called me back and stated she was African American and would look into the matter. No apology was offered. I also doubt that anything was done to the staff person making such inflammatory remarks.
WORST apartment Ive EVER lived in!Ive lived in several apartment communities. Ive never encountered the amount of disrespect or lack of professionalism that Ive experienced since moving into the Lofts on Hulen. Its been an absolute nightmare since the very fist day I moved in. I would never recommend this community to anyone.After each of the many attempts Ive made to reach some type of solution with management, the result is always the same...sorry for the inconvenience, wish I could help, rent is due on the first.
Awful place! I try to apply here I thought hey their cheap apartments I can try to save up for a house while renting here. Well they try to tell me I have to give them a bigger deposit beacuse I have supposedly have no credit or bad credit. So I got scared I tought oh no someone stold my identity. I cant have bad credit so I checked my credit online and my credit was good. So I called to talk them and ask for my deposit back because I have good credit and I dont want to pay more for a deposit just to rent there. So they said they were not going to give me my money back. Then they called the day after leaving me a voice mail saying they were going to return me my money. When I called back to confirm this they said they called the wrong person and they were Not going to return my money. Seriously, It got me thinking that they might have got my info mixed up with someone else and thats why they said I had bad credit. Please dont even try to apply here they give you problems from the start. Is not worth it, read the other comments at the bottom as well. They had almost the same problems as me. I wish I had listen to those comment I would have still had my $200. And would have had a place to leave at cause I need to move out in 2 weeks and have no apt lined up now.
This complex is the definition of a slumlord. I would advise against this place. The staff is unprofessional and tacky.
Update: still havent gotten back money orders they wont return them to you for anything like I said Absolutley horrible apts all they want is money and they will take all your money and then tell you you cant remt here then its gonna be aha ssle getting back all of your money orders they will say we have to mail it and no you dont you save the money orders ubtil application comes back and if you cant rent they should hand you back all of your hard earned money no quequestions. Find anywhere else im telling you anywhere else is better motel 6 is better than the lofts on hulen bend
Horrible apartments. Their main office staff are temps, so if you go in expect to be told that they dont know. They have limited office hours, making it hard to go in. I think management tries but are completely handcuffed by their bosses. Worst place I have ever lived and all my friends agree its the worst they have ever seen
I literally HATE the fact that I have to come here everyday. The worst decision I made this year was to lease here, and I so desperately wish I wouldve broken it already. I have never been so stressed out dealing with a place of business before, and it really sucks. The ONLY good thing about these apartments are the high ceilings, and I really mean ONLY! The maintenance staff is friendly and they at least attempt to do their jobs, however the work is fairly poor. Poor meaning after they come to fix something, youll most likely have to put in another work order so they can fix what they already fixed. Make sense? But they are hardly the problem; the whole establishment needs major maintenance, inside and out. Also, the grass is a free for all for any animals living in the community. The owners are too lazy to clean after their pets, and the staff apparently doesnt care either way. Just like they dont care about the safety of the residents, considering the fact that the front gate, and sometimes the side gate, are ALWAYS open. Itll be fixed in a few weeks they said. Youll get your gate key soon. I doubt itll ever get fixed. However, they do have a security officer on site, then again hes absolutely pointless. Lastly, and most importantly, the front office staff is terrible. Not all, but half, and half is too much. If not for the uncaring attitudes, most problems wouldnt seem as bad, but when you have to deal with rude people who could care less about your living conditions (because none of them stay in the apartments) it gets extremely frustrating. No accountability for anything; all theyre good for is fake smiles and subpar customer service. Oh yeah, I simply can not forget the BED BUGS!!! And flooding issues (fortunately not in mine though). And the reoccurring towing problems. Like the list just goes on and on and on and on and on and.....on and on and on. Its just ridiculous because they can drag their feet about things, but let us not pay rent on time. When I first got here, it seemed like someone was getting evicted everyday. I wish we could evict the staff and get some people who actually care in there. But like I mentioned, its not everyone, but you know what they say about bad apples. Anyway, I cant wait until March when my lease is up. Moral of the story, reconsider. JUST SAY NO! Trust me. Itll save you a years worth of stress, time, and trouble.
The absolute worse recently got approved for a 2bdrm and was shown a model. On the day of moving I got the key and previewed the apt and it was horrible, filthy and smelly. They had more than week to clean it and nothing was done refused to give the deposit back so that was a loss will not recommend this complex.
This place is a damn joke. I been telling them over and over about the ac. “Fixed it” four times. It’s been going on for three months and still not working.

We were told that we were moving into a newly renovated apartment with new appliances when we moved in which we moved in a few days later from what we were told we did not moved into a newly renovated apartment there was cracks in the walls and in the ceiling the apartment was falling apart and on top of it there was no brand new appliances when we talked to the front office about all of it the first thing they did was catch a attitude I wouldnt recommend it to anyone
The manager is rude !!!!! when you need to fix something that maintaining go take days to fix the problem and every month is more expensive not recommend
One last thing, i do not understand how some people could ever rate this place higher than a 1 star. If I could give negative stars than I would. ✌
