I hired a company to ship my bike. Well it turns out that company must of been a brokerage company because the company that delivered my bike was CRST Specialized Transportation. My bike showed up damaged, covered in dust and grime. It was delivered on a straight truck (furniture delivery type truck) simply strapped down to the floor. Not covered, no soft straps used. There was a pallet jack not strapped down rolling free in the back of the truck. This company has no business shipping a motorcycle.

CRST picked my Harley shipment up via Montway... CRST had my bike to its destination earlier than anticipated... Northville, MI to New Orleans, LA.... The pick driver was professional and put my mind at ease... Bike arrived 5 days after pickup, unscathed.

Buyer Beware! Shipping through Federal (an agent of CRST STI) was one on my worst experiences ever. I shipped my bike from Nashville to Salt Lake and decided to go through them because they had the lowest quote around. At first everything seemed great. Pickup occurred in a very timely manner and the bike moved across country very quickly. The bike moved really fast until it hit Salt Lake where it sat for five days. I called Federal to see if I could go pick it up and they referred me to a different third party. This made my stomach sink. The number was for a local moving company. I called over five times and got an answering machine every time. I never got a call back, or a call that the bike was going to be delivered, and the Harley shop never got the call until the truck was in their parking lot. Communication was very unprofessional. When the bike did show up, it wasnt in a motorcycle semi, it was in the back of a rented box truck. When I asked what theyre affiliation to Federal was, they had no idea what I was talking about. The back of the truck was full of cardboard, plastic, and other loose materials. That wasn’t what I thought I was paying for. I was under the impression that it would be a dedicated motorcycle trailer like the orange ones on the Federal website, or the ones haulbikes uses. The bike wasnt even on the wooden pallet pictured on their website.When the bike finally came off the truck, the guys seemed very rushed and a little anxious. Something felt fishy, but I inspected it on the loading dock and everything looked good so I signed for it. The guys drove off in a hurry and I wheeled the bike out into the sun to find that the tank was full of scratches. This really frustrated me, but they were already gone, and I already signed off on it, so there was nothing I could do. I feel sick to my stomach every time I look at it. If you care about your bike at all, save yourself some heartache and avoid these dishonest amateurs at all cost. Theyre not at all transparent, and theyll hand your bike off to multiple third parties that wont take care of it.Edit: After seeing my negative review, a representative told me to get a quote for repair and submit it to their claims department. I spent my day off running around town to different body shops to get quotes, and then waited two weeks just to find out that my claim was denied. Thanks for getting my hopes up for no reason!

They were the designated delivery company for a replacement Whirlpool washing machine. They called on a Tuesday and said they would deliver Wednesday (not much notice!). They said we needed to disassemble the old stacking washer in advance.We did that and also booked a service elevator for the building. Waited around all day and no one showed up. We reassembled the washer (tenanted unit). They called again Thursday and said they would deliver Friday. Again, we disassembled the washer and booked an elevator.They showed up on Friday and when the drivers went to look in the truck, they were shocked that they didnt have our washer! They said they would check with the head office and call us back - no one called us back.We have been calling them all day Friday and today (Saturday) and only get directed to a voice mailbox after 30 minutes of waiting on hold.We now have a washer and dryer sitting in the middle of our tenants apartment as we have no idea what is going on and if/when the new washer is coming.What a disaster. Wish I could give this company negative stars.

So far my experience has been similar to all other negative reviews. If they actually complete the pickup today and delivery within a reasonable amount of time (5-7 days to West Coast from MA) I will adjust my rating/review. So far they have rolled the pickup appointment twice. We scheduled with them for 5/8/18 and they were unresponsive/did not pickup. They then made an appointment for 5/9/18 for pickup at 10:30am. They failed to make that appointment and ended up not being able to show up until after 5pm when nobody would be available. They are supposed to pickup today anytime from 12pm-3pm and have been unresponsive. They have 30min left to complete this pickup within the appointment time THEY requested. Part of the reason they are not great is use of agent carriers. They are essentially outsourcing/brokering your freight to smaller carriers while claiming to be asset based. At least true brokers are transparent about their business models. 5/17/2018 update. After many service failures this company offered to move the freight in question free of charge. To me this shows that they are trying to provide an adequate level of service. In many cases carriers would just say sorry but not offer a discount of any kind. Updating from 1 to 3 stars.

This company doesnt understand customer service at all. Called 8 times and was on hold one time for 29 minutes. One time they picked up the phone and hung up after 23 minutes hold. Called few more time with no success. Called after 8 time and a person name Aron finally answered her phone but was very short and rushed. Very disappointing when their excuses are we are very busy and short staff. The customer doesnt need their excuses but answer to their questions. I just needed to know where are our bedroom set after 6 weeks. I am in business and understand an occasion problem but this experience was disappointing. Thanks,

Worse company ever. Paid for freight with this company. They gave the freight to someone else. The shipment was a Harley from Washington to Alaska. They have NO idea who they allowed to do the freight without our permission. And hung up on us when we ate obviously upset! We are reporting it as stolen. Horrible Horrible place. Rude and disgusting customer service!!

So far off to a bad start, Waiting for our Tempur-Pedic mattress, waited for them to call, they didnt. I called and some guy answered the phone, although I couldnt see him he must have looked like a Deer caught in the Headlights . He knew who I was but couldnt give me a time or date said he would call back. In short he seemed lost...Im still waiting on a call. Update as to what the results are.

If there is a 0 star I would definitely put it. We were waiting for our Tempur Pedic mattress for two weeks and when it finally came, there were BIG HOLES in both of the box springs where the forklift went through. No words to describe their service right now. You guys should close shop. Jeez.

If I could give this place a minus I would!! When I called in for a job application, the manager Gary asked what color I was and explained how he didnt hire people that werent white...he literally said g*d damn every other word. He also told me perks of the job...such as being able to buy supplies on company money and turning around and returning them for the cash and keeping the money for himself.

Worst Experience EVER! Scheduled an appliance delivery with Homedepot and they subcontracted to this crooked company. They were supposed to haul away my old washer and dryer and install the new ones as I paid for the services. Guess what? The two drivers/installers refused to do it and left us with uninstalled washer & dryer now just because they were not willing to untighten the two hoses connected to my old machines!!!!! They could have easily untighten them by hand within 30 seconds (which I did when I got home later that day)! At the time of delivery it was just my girlfriend there who were unable to disconnect the hoses because shes not strong enough. NO customer service and worst attitude! Theyve made every step in a simple delivery & installation service extremely complicated. Not to mention that they put a SCRATCH on the new dryer.Ridiculous company, not surprising to see these other reviews.

Horrible! Driver had the worst unprofessional attitude you could possibly have. He and some other rookie were delivering a video game. Well the guy said there is no way a video game could go through door. And to my apt. ( I have 3 in there I moved myself w a friend) so the guy said at one point he was just going to leave it in the backyard. (A 1980 antique electronic game he wanted to leave outside???) Then he called his supervisor about maybe repacking it and hauling it back where it came? Guy should be fired and never to work for a business again. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

I would give it 0 stars if I could.First of all, for home deliveries, its near impossible to reach these guys. If youre on hold for more than 10 minutes, which is almost every time, it connects you to the voicemail. Youll be able to reach a human on the other line 1 out of 7 or 8 attempts, perhaps.Heres my story: washer was scheduled to be delivered. They called the day before, said tomorrow at 8am to 12pm. Great. Woke up at 7am on a Saturday expecting the 30-min call beforehand. Nothing. At 12pm, I start calling them, but of course its not so easy to reach them. Spent hours. Finally around 2pm they tell me theyre delayed, will be there before 3. Great, couldnt you just let me f**** know? 3pm passes, 3.30pm, nothing. Now I have to go, sorry. I push the dryer back where it was. Then they finally show up while Im gone an hour later. They deliver the washer but refuse to haulaway the old one because the dryer is in the way. Im talking to the delivery person over the phone now bcz Im not home anymore. I ask him to just push the dryer a few inches to the left. Nope. Call and schedule the haul away, he says. Fine.So I call. Same situation as before. Hard to reach. Finally schedule for Friday and they tell me theyll call the day before to give the window of time. No such call came. On the day of pick up, I call them. Again, spend hours just to reach someone. Oh, itll be today between 2pm to 6pm. Well, now my calendar is full since you dindt call me the day before. So I reschedule for the next week on Tuesday.Again, Monday comes, no calls. I call them Monday evening, finally get a hold of someone, they say theyll come between 11am to 3pm. The next day, nothing. No calls, nada. Between 10am to 5pm I mustve spent 3 hours calling these incompetent people. Dont get me wrong, when they pick up theyre really nice and its not the reps fault. Anyways, they tell me itll be delivered, itll be delievered, itll be delivered, we have 5 more to deliver then you, etc. Now its 3pm, then 4pm, then 5pm, then 6pm... nothing at all.Today I called and they say oh sorry, we werent aware your delivery (pickup) wasnt made. Would you like to reschedule for Friday?Are you serious?Get your act together. This isnt fair or right. Have a sense of decency, for crying out loud.

They were delivering an item to my neighbor across the streets house. They blocked my driveway, gave me attitude when I had them move so I could take my kids to school. I asked them to make sure when the garbage truck came they moved so my garbage would be taken. They said they would move when they are done not before..

If I could give 0 stars I would. On May 22nd I had two pieces of medical equipment picked up from Sterling Virginia to be shipped to El Paso Texas. On June 21st the two items were finally received in El Paso. I dont understand why it takes over three weeks to go from Sterling Virginia to El Paso Texas. The items were picked up and sent to Dallas within a few days then they went to Albuquerque New Mexico where they sat for weeks. Then they were shipped to El Paso. Many people said I dont know when asked why it was taking almost a month but nobody could give me any real answers. Seems like the stuff was being shipped by wagon train. My ticket number is WI7342. I would never recommend CRST.

Poor service all around. We placed an order with IKEA that had to go through this company for shipping. Although part of the blame is on IKEA for slow processing, the customer service at STI has been generally poor and the delivery services are incredibly slow. I have had to call them on 5 different occasions over the past week due to them giving me the run around on every aspect of my order. Their dispatcher was conveniently absent for all of the calls (more run arounds), and we eventually got reassigned to a third party shipper that will delay our order further. We placed the order over a month ago and we still dont even know when it will arrive, which is more than inconvenient.An earlier order was also slowed, but not to this extent, and the driver called saying that they didnt want to go all the way out to our address and set up to meet further in town. If we could carry what we ordered, we would just go there and get it ourselves. And that is definitely what we are doing in the future. We will not order large orders again from IKEA purely because they have to go through STI and we have never had a good experience with them.

This is the worst company. They shipped one item and damaged it.. will not take responsibility and refused to pay for repairs; even though the warehouse has said it was turned over to them with no damage... Never use this outfit if you care about your possessions.. I give them a -100.

Drivers need more training on how to deal with people. Horrible customer service and the worst thing is I payed $350 for S&H, for what to get treated like a dog. There is not a word in the English language to use to explain how bad these f@#k heads treated us.

Hreat company to work for. Need two year driving to start and on driving test be on a game or you fail and get sent home.4 day orientation with meals provided. If you do not mind working and staying out 6 to 8 weeks great company. You cannot make money and also pay for a truck going home every two weeks.Best company I have been with. In second lease truck with 12 more weeks to compete then planning on third lease- purchase.There is a plan to their dispatch and you work with them you wil succeed.The only issue I have is the e-logs system. Before their was some le-way, now their is none, you release clutch in drive, or breaks in drive with automatic you are put on driving line. No split sleeper.FMCSA has some tolerances and allows split sleeper time and working to help drivers reviewing some of the changes they may implement next year. Nature of the work some of us do we could use the split time to go get showers and decent food instead of a parking lot with no facilities, including no toilet.CRST you can call me and give me ideas to address these issues and stay off the clock. Im up for suggestions.

Specialized Transportation Inc. Transported my 2016 Limited Harley Davidson CVO from Butte Mt. to Washington. It was only 680 miles, it took 6 days and still I had to go get it myself from the warehouse or wait 5 more days for it to go 2 hrs, north to my address. Once I got to the ware house to pick it up, I was brought in the warehouse where it was dark and not well lighted, and told to look it over and sign z papers. Well the first problem was the battery was dead, which indicated that someone had been tampering with it in transit because the dealership put it in transport mode so the alarm would not constantly go off and the start switch was on when I got to it so someone was messing with it. This problem distracted me from the bike inspection somewhat, I did sign one of the forms in the warehouse so I could get it outside and try to charge the battery to start it. Once it was started it had another issue which was nothing to do with STI. but still distracted me from getting a good look over the bike. It had to be taken to the dealership for service before I could take it home that day. Once I got it home and then looked it over good I did find a small dent in the front fender, I noted it and called the dealership, the dealership said it never left with any dent, it was in perfect flawless condition. So I had also spent the extra money on $10,000.00 extra insurance coverage for the shipping so I filled a claim for the damage, which was around $1200.00, this is a $ 40,000.00 motorcycle. Well needless to say STI instantly denied the claim on the technicality that I signed Z papers. This company is all about the money. Crappy service Zero customer service, they will not take care of your property or you if something goes wrong during shipping. In their own words from a BBB statement-- ( BUSINESS RESPONSE:Mr. McNeil’s verified signature is seen on the Copper Canyon Harley Davidson bill of sale. This signature matches the signature on our inventory and bill of lading. See appendix A. We vehemently deny accusations of forgery.If this damage had just been noted at delivery we would not be having this conversation. We do not “know” we damaged this motorcycle as the consumer alleges; claims here are honored rourtinely when a change in condition is noted on the shipping documents. Mr. McNeil failed to do this. We are not going to issue any settlement on this claim. There is absolutely ZERO evidence that the claimed damage occurred in our custody. )STI, damaged my motorcycle and treated me like a the motorcycle they shipped - damaged. I will never use nor recommend this company to anyone for any type of shipping anywhere. I have and know people in the trucking industry and had I talked to them before hand and know who the company was going to ship with I would have never let this happen, Knowbody I have talked to that knows STI in the trucking business has anything good to say about their shipping ability or the way they treat customers.Troy McNeil totally dissatisfied customer.

JUST AWFUL!GE, subcontracted this company for delivery of my appliances. Why? I have no idea.The Delivery driver left delivery slip on a tree branch at the end of my driveway.Did not even make it to my door.Kinda funny but also unreal how bad customer service is.Impossible to find someone to talk to over the phone, if you get lucky guessing an extension like I did a few times, their mailbox will be full.So you cant even leave a message.
