Great outdoor scene to stroll, sit on a bench and see the view feed the fish (fish food available) or feed yourself at a selection of eateries available on the waterfront. On select days you can catch live music playing outside, on others just enjoy the beautiful setting. A cool spot to hang and bring guests visiting from out of town.
First time into the Marina and was easy to communicate and navigate with dock masters guidance. Great slip and great people around us. Easy on and off for taking the dogs for a walk (including a grassy area right outside gates. Security for gate access might need to be improved. If you forget your key to get back in, you can easily access the docks from a side entrance with no gate. But think they are fixing this with all the new construction. Anne was great and the guys on the dock handling lines were great as well! Right in the heart of downtown and had a great stay! Even saw some manatees!
Great marina for stop over .been here twice in a month and had great food and Jay the dock hand made entry and exit a breeze! Hes a great asset to the marina.
Is nice place to visit and enjoy with family, in this Night 🌙too is so romantic
We spent two nights at Fort Pierce City Marina. The staff was very friendly, particularly Kenny, who helped us situate the boat upon arrival. He was very accommodating to the Captains requests. The onsite gift/snack shop is handy to have access to. You can get very large bags of ice - 25lbs and 50lbs which is very helpful when boating. The marina is very secure with gated access to the docks, special codes to gain access and keys for showers and laundry facilties. The docks are very well maintained by the staff. It is very convenient to be so close to Cobbs Landing bar/restaurant (see my other review) and if youre staying at the Marina, you will get a voucher off one full bill INCLUDING drinks. Also, if you are a member of Tow Boat USA, you can get a discount on nightly dockage fees. While overall the stay was good, there are a few things you should know. There is construction going on which means there is no pump out sevice available. We were not made aware of this in the reservation process or by staff members upon arrival. We discovered it by signage hanging on the shower doors. The price per night is pretty hefty at over $100 per night so I would say that having every amenity promised for the price be available or until the construction is done, pricing needs to change. Also, the bathroom/showers are not that clean. Perhaps they get cleaned once a week and I wasnt here for it, but you mainly use a marina for the bathroom and showers so I expect these locations to be very clean. Fort Piece City Marina needs to step up their cleaning game in these areas. It is nice that there is a laundry facility on site but the detergent machine gave me the wrong detergent and then when I went to buy a second box, it stole my 75 cents. The washing machines and dryers arent very expensive to use, but the dryers arent very efficient. The sunrises at Fort Pierce Marina are breathtaking. The marina is pet friendly and the downtown area adjacent to the Marina is quiet but clean and great for taking a stroll. I would recommend staying here but be advised about the pump out issues. Ships Ahoy!!Updated a couple hours later: Before departure I wanted to buy a couple gallons of drinking water. Because the Marina Store is closed due to construction, the gift shop should probably consider reducing gift inventory temporarily and stocking with some basic supplies for the Marina tentants. I think once construction is over, the Marina will be a great spot however some tjings need re-working for the time being. Still overall a good stay.
This is one of the gems on the east coast of Florida. The inlet water is clear blue for much of the tide cycle. Due to the current, he marina itself is tough to manoever in if you dont have bow thrusters but the staff makes up for it by being exceptionally competent handling your lines and guiding you in. Speaking of staff, you wont find a nicer bunch than the crew at this marina. Sometimes government run places get a little stodgy but not here. The folks are genuinely friendly and helpful. We stayed here a month last year and another this year and I plan to be back here on the way back north again as well.
Great facility, excellent customer service.
I was on my little electric bike & heard live music so I went down to the marina & the cover band was great...actually the sound system they use for when the band was in intermission & the song list was superb. Everyone was having fun. The sky & breeze were phenomenal. Im sorry I dont know the name of the band. Youll see once I was able to get up front they disbanded. I heard one hand member say they come & play here once a year so they get around.I got a kick out of the atm machine beer-money guys
The best, great people,!!Great service! None better!!
Brenda, Melissa, and Jay were awesome. Great marina with great service. Jay is super helpful and all are so very friendly. The marina is clean and the area lively. Ill definitely be back.
Getting any information from this place regarding storage availability is a joke. The woman I spoke to was not listening to what I was saying, asking questions I already answered. First impression, can already tell customer service is lacking.
In the Marina of Fort Pierce, I use to had my sailboat. The same day I sold it I wanted to talk to Dean in person but he was not there, I went to speak in person with Anne Bowen and explained to she that I had sold my boat and when I making the discount to the new owner he would pay the marina, as we had agreed. This woman charged me the marine when I legally no longer have a boat, she did it without my consent knowing that my husband was undergoing chemotherapy !!!!!!!and that he needed the money. They never gave me the parking sticker for my car or the bathroom marine keys!!!. Every time I called her to give Dean my messages, the messages did not get to him either !!!. I am very angry, very betrayed, They know that I am with my husband in treatment but they do not care about the pandemic or anything. Im not talking about Dean, Im talking about Anne.I am very disappointed, because she used my visa card behind my back, without knowing how much I was needing that money. PlusI also add that it is very disparaging and discriminatory because of my Argentine accent, even though I am American citizen. Thats what i had to put up with. I wish her %&*#@!@!!!! no heart ! Nunca escupas al cielo, que nadie esta libre .... mala gente ! Traidora . Sacarme el dinero a mis espaldas ! shame on you!
The People there are the best tab what they do. Anne and Brenda inside can handle anything you throw at them. The docks are clean and services are impeccable. If you are traveling through or need a longer slip try here first you wont regret it.
Ft. Pierce Marina and also Jetty Park are top notch places to walk around or to go fishing and swimming.
We where unable to get or boat to the marine because of the bridge high restrictions. We dinged in and ask if we could Possibly use their laundry services also offered to let us use their residence showers ! They said yes and also allowed us to fill our water cans for the boat extremely pleasant and helpful told us we could leave our dingy there as long as we needed to and enjoy the town. Beautiful marina nicely kept very safe highly recommended only wish we could’ve gotten our Helia 44 in
We very recently spent just under a month there and found the dock hands and office staff to be most helpful as well as engaging. The location is very convenient to food and entertainment. Randy, Matt and Carl were the dock hands we came to know and rely on for assistance docking in uncooperative winds and current. Each service request was met with an eager effort to help. Thanks guys.
Stayed over night last December 2018. Very friendly staff. Great location with two great restaurants. Farmers market was going on while we were there that was a nice plus. My husband loves that its right there at the inlet to go out fishing.
I enjoy going to the jetty to watch the sunrise on the beach. There are plenty of things to do, biking, walking, fishing. There is a Farmers market on Saturdays with fresh produce and lots of vendors selling a wide variety of food. There are plenty of arts and craft booths as well. A great way to spend a morning.
This marina is NICE. I took a tour with a group through a class I was taking at the local college. It was totally rebuilt in the early 00s from hurricane damage... Boy, did they do it right. The rebuild was environmentally conscious and the incorporated man-made islands as wave breaks and wildlife sanctuaries. If I owned a boat, this is where I would keep it.
Visited for the famers market. Always enjoy the marina with all the boats, since the marina has been completely rebuilt it now has space for approximately 6 times as many boats and is thriving. First class facilities, nearby stores and restaurants.
This is a great place to hang out - with an awesome view. Local brewery, great restaurants, cafes and library all in walking distance. Gets packed on Saturdays at the farmers market here (but check it out because its awesome) and they decorate nicely during the holidays.
Made us a promise for a seasonal slip and refused to honor their promise. Dirty restroom. Docks are floating and in great condition. Wide fairways for easy access. Our stay was less than a week due to the broken promise
Nice place to spend some time with family and friends.... 1st friday of the month they have Friday fest *weather permitting* and on Saturdays they have the Farmers Market. These events are free to attend, are family and pet friendly. Array of vendors.. arts, soaps, clothing and food be sure to checkout Lip Ripper apparel and Tonys Gyros!
Victoria and I went to see Narnia play last night and when we got out went down by the water to see all the boats lit up and the the trees were lit to dance with the music wow what a beautiful site. We had a great time. And the night before she went to see the nutcracker play 😁😁🌃
This marina is nice and the staff is very friendly, we love the location to downtown and the manatee center; however, the negative, not enough staff. Both times we have stayed here we have had to sit in their basin and wait for 30+ minutes for the one, sometimes two, dock hands to get free. It is frustrating when you have called ahead to reserve a slip, and called again so they know you’re 30 minutes out (entering the jetties) to not be prepared to help dock. Case and point: one dockhand for running the fuel dock and helping dock boats. That’s just not enough, the city needs to hire more help.
Very disappointed in the amount of trash around the marina & surrounding public parking lots. So close to the river... where do you think its going to end up? Of course in our eco system. As nice & fun the area is to bad the clean up is obviously not as important to the county as the fun $.Still giving a good rating because the vibe is great. But I did leave with a bag of garbage that I cleaned up from public parking lot.
Beautiful boats, beautiful view and friendly staff. Clean facilities and very user freindly! Parking is kind of a hassle but other than that? Wonderful
Love this place! This was the second time we come and the little gift shop where we buy the little fish food bags was closed. :( but we still love this place.
THE VIEWS ARE BEAUTIFUL DAY AND NIGHT GOOD FOOD VERY RELAXING
Be ready to park far away on any event day. Even the parking garage is a little walk. Its worth it. They host many awesome events throughout the year including Farmers Market and Friday Fest. The holiday lights are very cool especially for kids. The food stops in the area are pricey but have great food and drinks. The view is pretty decent and its fun to feed the cat fish near the Original Tiki Bar. When its open (not often) the souvenir shop has some pretty cool things in it.
Brought my little girl to sea the marina. Such a beautiful place and well kept. Please bring the family.. it will be worth it. And it at the tiki bar...amazing food.
I love how its lit up at nite ..And its relaxing to just walk and feed the catfish
FPCM is a state of the art marina with floating docks, electric, water, and pump out at every slip. Staff is great and very helpful. Its a great location with lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Farmers market every Saturday and lots of events every month.
No better place for transient dockage in Ft Pierce. Kind staff, excellent facilities and plenty of room. Hard to beat! Ill be back!
Very pretty place. Lots of fish, birds and pigeons. Nice restaurants and stores.
We had the worst experience with this marina on Saturday 7/7. I called at 16:15 and asked what time the fuel dock closes as we were deciding if we needed to leave before MOST marinas stop fueling. The staff (female) giggles and said 4:30, I questioned her and she states we close at 4:30am. Needless to say we were excited and stayed out longer only to arrive at there fuel dock to be told they have NO gas! Don’t you think she should have been smart enough to tell us that when we called? Our mistake by not asking her do you HAVE fuel to pump.
Nice quiet evening walk along the rivers edge. Well lit and plenty to see.
My family and I were there for the festival of bands had a great time, lots of people but my family made it even more special to me. Thanks for the visit.
We had a great time in Fort Pierce. The Farmers Market and Friday Fest were worth the trip up from Miami.
Great spot to hang out and take in the views while people watching.
Marina is well protected, i cannot deny that. However, management is terrible. I stayed for approximately 6+ weeks and was rightly charged a months rate for the first month, then after the first 30 days, i was charged a daily rate which totaled more than twice the amount for the first month. $3600 for 14 days. I called them several times, and did speak to Dean and after some time he sent me a spreadsheet that was poorly formatted. They were adament about not simply giving me the monthly rate for the entire duration of my stay at first. Correct me if im wrong; If a marina offers a monthly rate, it should remain a monthly rate regardless if you do not meet the next 30 days. Monthly rate in most marinas is define as staying for more than 30 days. My first 30 days was approx $1700, the extra 15 days cost $3400 not including a $800+ power bill for the first 30 only. I told them i would jast pay for 2 months even though i didnt need that much time. They should have prorated it, but i was happy to settle paying for 2 full months. This fiasco went on over two weeks after i departed. One representative (i wont say a name) told me that i would likely have trouble getting money back which i did. Still never recieved what i should have.Secondly, the nught dock master was a complete jerk. Not the smaller guy, the one who wears camo pants nightly. We were nothing but respectful to everyone at this facility and did not get the same in return. Also, due to the hurricane im guessing, upon departing the T head, my prop hit a hard object very near the dock face, so there should have been no shoaling or shallow water in that particular area, but whatever it was destroyed my wheel and cost $4100. Overall our stay at this marina was terrible. I suppose you live and learn. This was my first and last visit. Any vessels transiting there drafting 6 or more, beware. One last thing. Their entrance channel markers were taking out by the hurricane so they put dark red balls on one side only, which one sind isnt an issue, but why dark red You cannot see them at night.i suppose that is neither here nor there Just beware.Dont be alerted if the night dicksman takes picture of anything you should leave on the dock by your boat even with intentions of disposing it or reloading it. He is an extremely zealous control hungary docks man. Even fussed at my deckhamd for having a dock cart at the boat while we were using it. As much as we paid them, if we wanted to even leave it at the boat, we shouldve. I would not be disrespectful to other boaters that may need the use of one. Well ive said enough. I could continue however, that wasnt all. Except for the well protected docks, i highly do not recomend unless you are under 45 LOA.
Great place to go. Either to walk around or eat or shop. There is so much to do downtown now.
Saturday morning Farmers market is great with live music and vendor tents. Good outdoor eateries and the Marina views.
Reasonable charter fishing opportunities available. Fun to watch the fish at the piers but no fishing from them.
Great Marina, terrific staff and the perfect spot for a layover before and after that trip to the Bahamas.
VERY DISAPOINTING. WHAT WAS A NICE AREA TO GO TO IS NOW A DISCUSTING URINE SMELLING DIRTY PLACE. HOMELESS HANG OUT AT. THEY USED TO HAVE HOLIDAY MUSIC PLAYING LIGHTS IN THE PALM TREES THAT WOULD GO TO THE MUSIC. NO MORE... SINCE THEY PUT THE EXPANSION IN OF THE MARINA... NOW YOU HAVE BOATS FENCED IN AND ALL QUIET... CANT DISTURB THEM...
Beautiful views. Great Saturday farmers market nearby. Wonderful walking.
Great marina. Plenty of entertainment..parking absolutely sucks
Lovely town center with great restaurants! The holiday displays are pretty with lights synchronised with the music.
Great facility: beautifully designed breakwaters with superb wildlife viewing opportunities, walking distance to great restaurants- and most of all: a very helpful and friendly staff. Add to this its proximity to a manatee center, art museum and recreation center, PLUS an easy walk to a bridge -with stunning views of the Intracoastal, and ending at a fascinating history museum, aquarium and a beach. AND the regular Saturday morning green market/craft fair and music, the frequent Friday night bands and get togethers, AND the Holiday music and lighting are all just steps from your dock. One of the best facilities around!
I Love
Its a great place to take your Family and theres a lot of restaurant To choose from
Nice clean and secure marina. The restaurant on site is a nice plus.
Friday Fest first Friday of the month. Incredible Farmers Market every Saturday morning. Unbelievably beautiful location.😎
Terrific walk around area.
Nice quiet place and some times they have open market with live 🎶. Great restaurants
A small, yet beautiful, and exciting place to be! Love the marine life and all the birds! Lovely place, would visit again!
In general this friendly multi-cultural city is sophisticated yet unpretentious. After an extensive search I chose to live here.
Impressive newly refurbished marina just off the ICW. Easy place for a quick stop or a long stay.Be wary of the fast currents on approach, but once in the breakwaters it is safe and easy to manoeuvre.
Great farmers and craft & art markets every Saturday!
Right at Ft Pierce inlet. Several newly man made Islands to offer improved storm protection. Several new floating docks. Marina is the hub of events in Ft Pierce. Two restaurant/bars on site. Parking lot onsite; but, very popular and often at near capacity. Dockage is reasonable. Liveaboard slips available. Often full. Plan ahead.
Farmers market Sat mornings. Live music. Good food. Craft show.
Very beautiful people ♥️
Omg the lights were beautiful, I sit an enjoy the the Christmas songs.
Farmers market Sat. Great local products. Produce and bakery are my favorite stops. Live music too.
One of our Favorite Places. Staff is so Helpful. Merry Christmas!!
Great visit to the Marina Park, lights in the trees set to music, lots of little vendors. Picked up a couple last minute gifts.
Theres almost always something going on over there and the view is great
This is a tranquil and peaceful place!!!Also every Wednesday there is a green market with amazing vendors and products!!!
Very Nice. VENDORS AND A BAND, EVERY SATURDAY MORNING, DOWNTOWN FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, WORTH VISITING
Nice marina. Home to Freedom Boat Club
Fine marina for visitors. Secure, locked bathrooms. Unaware of repair facility however.
I ate at the Tiki Hut in Ft Pierce and the fish tacos were really good!
The atmosphere is energetic and the music was awesome, the jazz band was terrific and the highlight of the night.
Farmers market was great! .. As was the fish watching.. mullet, catfish, parrotfish, Snook, sheep head and jacks...
Called on the phone and went in person to talk about getting a slip here and told everything was good to go once I have the insureance add them. Went to bring the paperwork in and was treated rudely by the manager, the office ladys and dockmaster were very nice and welcoming. Ended up not being able to get the slip with no real explanation from the manager. Even though everyone else confirmed it was good to go before.
Always a great fun weekend farmers and artzie market
Carl and crew do a great job of managing the docks!
Always fun with great food, music and people watching.
