We live in an imperfect world. Things go wrong. 20 years in industrial sales has provided too many instances when things dont go right with a clients experience either with my company, my product or myself. But Ive found that those instances are opportunities to solidify strong, loyal relationships by make what went wrong right. Tonight, I had the privilege of being on the other side of the table - the customer who had a bad experience who was won over with the above-and-beyond service of Josh, the manager.I brought my VW Atlas in for an oil change late in the day. It ended up being that I was the last customer to leave the shop after 6:00. The oil change itself was a little delayed because they didnt have the synthetic oil I needed. Instead of turning me away, they had some brought in from another shop. The techs were friendly, honest, and professional.On my way home, however, a massive oil leak developed 10 min. from the shop, leaving me stranded. Hoping against hope, I tried calling the shop which I knew was already closed. Thankfully, Josh answered and immediately apologized, got a tow truck to me in less than 15 minutes and had me on my way back to the shop. Being that Ive been in Joshs shoes before with an upset customer, I remained calm and said if he took care of me and made this right, Id come back again.Turns out, there was an o-ring that got pinched in the oil canister, and a rev test wasnt performed, which wouldve caught the problem before I left. Josh worked quickly, explaining everything along the way. He went through another filter and found the 2nd o-ring to not fit well. It was leaking a bit as well. Josh called his wife, who then sprung into action and got a better filter at an auto store and brought it in for us - and did so happily! This did the trick. No more leaks!When it was all said and done, Josh cleaned up all the spilt oil in the engine compartment, refunded me for the oil change, and compensated me further beyond what even I wouldve expected. He obviously believes and lives up to the 2 phrases posted on the shop walls:1.) Integrity standard with every service2.) Trust, Honesty, Respect - its who we areBoth of us gave up our evening at home to make sure all was done right, leaving around 8:30 p.m. Josh and his wife gave me an unforgettable customer service I have not experienced in years. If things would go perfectly every single time I would go there, I would not have had the chance to see the integrity, trust, honesty and respect that is to be realized when something doesnt go right.Well done, Josh. You have gained a life-time customer as long as youre there running the show. I hope Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers know what a gem they have in you. If not, I will not be surprised if another company quickly offers you an opportunity on their team - if they havent already.

Went to then them and found out someones had tampered with my brake fluid they were supportive and informative Even had a sample of theadditive analyzed

Got oil change, they overfilled the oil and spilled oil all over my engine. They cleaned my engine but smells like burnt oil everytime I drive it.

I went to get my fluids & oil topped off & my engine light was on it came on when it was 20 degrees outside. I ask to talk to the Toyota man I didnt get his name i explained what codes was showing on my car he found what was wrong with it in one minute & he fixed it.. a animal was trying to find a warm place to stay it chewed a hole. Thanks to Toyota man & a roll of duct tape ..lol..thanks !!!

Been going to Valvoline (VIOC) for years. I have a 4 wheel drive with a skid plate that has to be removed for oil changes. Last several changes Ive noticed Valvoline took short cuts bypassing skid plate which led to old oil being leaked onto the plate and onto my driveway for 2 days. Told Express Oil this is why Im giving them my business. They took off my skid plate, took it outside and washed the oil off of it while my oil change was being done. All staff were top-notch. Ill be back.

Took my grandmothers car in for a oil change and the service was 2nd to none! Nathaniel was very honest. He informed me of my options but didn’t push any products or services on me at all. He was very thorough and kept me informed of the status of my vehicle the whole time. He also let me know Express Oil Change is a full service mechanical shop and they would be happy to take care of any needs I might have. HIGHLY RECOMMEND but they were pricey, especially for an oil change, thats why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I was driving from Atlanta to Indiana with our two pets....lt was bumper to bumper traffic from the start of Atlanta all the way to Ringgold.....my brakes smelled like they were on fire. Upon arriving at my motel knowing my next trek would be crossing Mont eagle...l needed help...l went on the internet and found this shop...the technician personally came and took my car to the shop...My thought was this is going to cost me a fortune.....,was l ever wrong....here is a shop that does only what one needs and that is it...the technician returned my car later and told me a thorough check was made of the brakes and he felt the long long stretch of stop and go traffic had made the brakes warm but they would be safe for the rest of the trip making sure that they had ample time to recuperate the next day l finished my trip....the total charge for his services? free.....l promised l would.write a deserving review when l arrived home....That trip took place a year ago...l could not remember this mans name or the name of his company.....well today i found my receipt......this review is a year late but no less deserving...thank you.

Great service. Fast and thorough. JR Ellington was my tech. He explained things he was checking and made certain I understood. I needed a transmission flush. He gave me cost and got my approval before continuing. Nothing was done that wasnt needed or approved. I highly recommend.

Make sure if you ever go to this place and they tell you you need some work done to a certain part of your car always go to a second or third mechanic to get a different opinion because the last time that I was here they told me I needed a new hose for my radiator when in reality it was just a clamp and T plastic piece that Connected everything to the engine and what not plus their price was extremely high and I found a better mechanic that did it for a fraction of the cost and correctly. I will not be going to this place ever again due to their incompetence

These guys definitely deserve 5 stars. Every time I go, I’m in and out quick. SUPER friendly and informative. They made sure I had all my questions answered before I left, and never made me feel pressured to buy any extra things. I never felt rushed through either. One of the best customer service I have received. I’m always happy when I leave here.

Absolutely great and cheapest In town

I have used this location for several years now, and not just for oil changes. I have not once had bad or inconsistent service there. And if they refuse to add a fluid or perform a particular service, there has always been a good reason and it was always explained to me. I would recommend these guys any day of the week. They have kept my 2003 car running without problem with a minimum of maintenance and repair needs.

I am very loyal to this specific one. Everytime I go there, I am treated more than an equal but someone who is borderline pampered. They dont belittle me for being a woman like some places do and they inform me when I need something urgent. However for as long as I have been going there Nathaniel Jackson was the more sincere and sweetest man who went beyond their already high expectations of serving me. I appreciate hin greatly and I recommend you request him if available.

It was fantastic Nate (Nathaniel) and Dakota helped me out tremendously the did everything super quick and also let me know what I would possibly need to change in the next 1000 miles or so which gives me a great heads up . Instead of when the engine light comes on I wont freak out and know what it is and just go back and let them handle it as always.

I would not trust my car to anyone else. The crew at Express in Fort O helped me get my clunker running smoothly. The manager, Josh, took time to make sure all the boxes were checked so I can feel safe on my 2 hr daily commute. Theyre the best!

Went in for a quick oil change and to get my tire pressure checked. They quickly started doing the oil change, but couldnt find my name and information in their system. They never asked me what kind of oil or to make a decision on service.I told them that my dash had a display that was showing low pressure in my tires and that my brakes were shaking. They said they did the oil change and I could leave....I asked about my tire pressure, the attendant told me he had put air in, but he would check it again. (If he had. ..WHY did he quickly say he would check again! !?) Also--my display still showed low. He went around my vehicle with the air tool....it was making noise like air was coming out, BUT MY DISPLAY NEVER CHANGED.He motions me to leave, I asked why my display didnt change? ? He said I have to drive several miles for it to register, weird. I never had to before. So I drove off not happy at all with the service.Several miles down the road, my display is still reading low and no change. I drive back and ask them to please check again.A different man says he will recheck my tire pressure. The first man asked him WHY ARE YOU HELPING HER...I just added air in her tires. He said, she asked me to check Sir.The second man went to the 1st tire and I could hear air, but not as LOUD as the 1st time AND IT REGISTERED IMMEDIATELY on my display! ! He went to all 4 tires and I watched as all 4 tires filled up to the recommended level!WOW!!! The first guy NEVER ADDED AIR in my tires---HE JUST PRESSED THE TOOL AND MADE AIR COME OUT!!!Im not even sure the first guy changed my oil.....MY OIL CHANGE LIGHT IS ON EVER SINCE.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.I wouldve given them no stars, if that wouldve been possible.

During my visit they were slammed and short handed. The gentleman that greeted me and changed my oil was very nice and kept apologizing. He was very professional and helpful. I was very please and told him he did a great job. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I dont remember his name but he did a great job and handled the pressure amazingly.

The Fort Oglethorpe Georgia location. I was very impressed. Had my oil changed and it had to be the full synthetic oil. So i wanted to see if he would say anything about it. And the mechanic told me my car had to have the synthetic oil in it. That impressed me. After the oil change was done he showed me the dipstick that impressed me also. He was very courteous and did a great job. And he also washed my windshield did not expect that. I will definitely go back. Keep treating customers like that and they will keep coming back. Thanks for the great service.
