Seemed a little shady so I left and went to chevy. He gave me the codes that he had read then deleted, on my receipt. Chevy was unable to find anything wrong with any of those codes. Man was upset when I decided not to get the $2200 worth of repairs done that he suggested. It was just a really weird visit. Ill be staying away, I dont trust these guys.

Have you ever heard the phrase the numbers dont add up? I took in a car to have it diagnosed and the quote was three times what I paid to have the exact job done elsewhere. If there is a labor shortage due to Covid it is not at Maxi because apparently labor is their top priority. Cost of labor that is.

I had a wheel almost come off and they let me know what was wrong with my car, even took me into the garage to show me. They were willing to work with me on the price, only doing enough to get my car safe.

Was going to charge me 980 dollars for a master cylinder and to put it in. I ordered one from AutoZone for 100 dollars and got express oil to put it on for 200 dollars. Ladies, stay away from Maxi. They must have thought I was stupid. We have goggle now to tell us where to buy and recommendations from people like me.

Person who answered the phone was very dry and short when i asked him a question, i personally wouldnt do business with them based on the conversation i had with them. As if i was bothering him by calling and inquiring about a problem with my muffler..Smh

Honest good ppl and really good service...

I have used them multiple times for oil (my mistake) one time I had my truck parked a certain way where I could tell it had not been touched. They called me to get my truck and I questioned it. Took it another time to fix my air, it did fix but they said it would not work on 4. So had somebody do it right, and it works 100%. He took the wiring harness out and all they did was bandaid it. Rip offs!

My experience both times were great! A wonderful group of gentlemen work here and they do great work for reasonable rate!

They did an amazing job! We had two bolts that wouldn’t budge causing an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold. It could’ve been a really costly repair but they fixed it without having to replace costly parts!

If I could I would give a negative 5 stars. The staff was rude. Had our automobile from the time they opened until close and didnt even start work on it after telling us it would only take 2 maybe 3 hours to complete.

Theyve taken care of my cars for 20 years. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I just had my PRNDL module fixed for hundreds less than at a dealer AND they fixed my broken ashtray without being asked! They stand by their work, fix whats needed at a fair price, and keep me safe on the road. Thanks to Allen and all the guys.

When my car broke down, my roadside assistance insurance paid for a tow, and I had my car taken to Maxi. I didnt have the money to pay for the repairs, and Maxi kept my parked there at no charge for several weeks until I was able to afford having it towed to my home. They are super nice and very professional. Its where I will always go in the future for car repairs and maintenance.

I usually do my own repairs, but there are some that I just cant pull off at the house. Ive used them three times now for my truck for diagnosis and repairs and all three times I had my truck back and running well within 24 hours. Pricing is pretty average but they do pretty good work. Customer service varies with the person (and its never been bad), but this is an autoshop, not a bank or a Walmart. The quality of work and time turn-around is whats important, and so far theyve done more than solid.

Excellent mechanics and a no BS attitude. If I need brakes or just about any other Auto service this is my first choice. Also they are an ASE Blue Seal certified shop.

After a sudden incident with my sons tire. He needed air. This place was open and let him have air. Very nice and friendly people. Helped my son get his tire off so he could go get it fixed. Then helped him put it back on and charged him nothing.

I have used the Fort Oglethorpe location for several years. They always do an excellent job. You don’t have to worry about them replacing/repairing anything that is not needed or over charging.

Ive used Maxi for quite a long time and have always been happy with their service and prices. Allen runs an efficient operation, and usually gets you in and out quicker than expected, with the problem fully resolved. Ive recommended this shop to friends and will do so in the future.

Very nice people. I couldn’t get my gas cap door open and was on a quarter tank. I called several places but no one could get me in today except for them. They got my gas cap door open in less than 15 minutes.

Very rude and extremely over priced. Charged over $260 for a $50 dollar part and what it got sent there for wasnt even fixed. If I couldve had my vahicle towed somewhere else to be fixed I would have.

Weve been using Maxi Auto for 17 years and theyve been great. They work to get to the bottom of a problem. They usually have our vehicles back up to snuff in less than a day. You can leave vehicles after-hours and put your key in the night-drop (weve done it numerous times). Theyre always willing to explain the details of what they find wrong and the options for dealing with it. After years of searching for reliable mechanics every time something went wrong with a vehicle, its a huge relief to have one we trust and just go to automatically. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Theyve treated us right and then some.

Had a conversation this morning with Maxi. Decided my review was too hard. So I will change it and say well done. My car is running again. Nice to be able to not worry about the alternator stranding me and my family .

If you are looking for a mechanic that excels with customers service, or a mechanic that is very through. Then my advice would be keep looking!!! If you want a company that has no customer service whatsoever and does shoddy work on your vehicle then you found the right place. These machincs are the worst while charging prices that would make them seem the best! Something as simple as putting plain water in your raidiator in Jaunuary causing me to take my vehicle to a real mechanic to have the raidiator flushed. Stay away!! Save money and your motor and find a company where theyre customer service matches theyre work which will reflect the price.

Allen has always taken care of myself and family. He got my Dodge dually Cummins in and out in just a few hours for a full service and brake job. Prices have always been more than fair as well. Thank you guys and i will definitely be back when my next service us due

I originally went here because my dad always did before he passed away. They over charge for parts. Needed a blower Motor on one of our vehicles. Was charged$179 for the part, online the part is $97. When my husband asked why we were charged so much for the part, the manager said they make money off of the parts as well as the labor. We had to bring our car back again because it wasnt fixed the first time. Now Im starting to wonder if they screwed my dad over too. I will never ever use this place again and will ..make sure my friends and family dont either.

I am pleased with this location of Maxi I had to bring my trailblazer in 2 days in a row not because of Maxi but because my car warranty would only cover the misfire but I left and it done it again so I brought it back and he made it right Im grateful for these guys

I had an issue with their customer service, but after I brought it to Maxi Mufflers attention they addressed it to my complete satisfaction.

Older Maxi..Technicians are a good group of guys..Work is a little pricey..Would suggest gettung there early or you may be in for a bit of a wait..

Had a oil changed. They did an awesome job I only take my car there. It depends on what you are having done on the price.

Lady at the front desk was yelling and was so rude to my boyfriends brother when we came in to pick up his car. Like i understand that you found different problems than we did but doesnt mean you yell at us about it.

Allan,Mark and their group of mechanics always do top notch work. I have brought my cars to them many times over the years and for the most part always get me going again.That being said I was a little let down on my new (used) VW beetle. It had several issues going on they fixed my exhaust leak fairly quickly and with a resonable price. The other issues with the engine reving up and down they seemed to just lose interest in helping me out.I paid them and took it down the road to Good Year. In about 3 hours they had diagnosed my problem and had me out running smooth again. A little more costly then Maxi probably could have done it but I guess VW Beetles arent their thing.I still trust the work at Maxi all the good things they have done for me and my family over the years they will still get all my work on my domestic cars but eh.. foreign cars will probably end up at Good Year.

Website said free estimate and upon calling I was told that that was indeed not the case and that it costs to have my vehicle looked at thus, no free estimate.

Took my car in for check engine light. Just a few minutes after leaving the light was on again. Went back and they connected a vacuum hose that they missed the first time. Was this the problem to begin with? A week later the problem was back.😧

Over priced will never use again quoted one price and it was another.
