I had a “slab leak” and engaged Leak Locators to identify the leak location. Using the sound equipment and pushing air through the system, the technician identified two possible location. (Leak Locators will not move or expose the exact leak location.)The contracted plumber was “uncomfortable “ with the Leak Locators Report. So, we engaged Leak Surgeons, for a second opinion. They conducted their services, including a gas in the pipes along with the appropriate gas detection technologies, to “pinpoint “ the exact location. They jack hammered through the slab and exposed the leak, for the plumber to repair.This service saved us time and more importantly the need of sawing through cabinets.

Shane knows his stuff. Extremely professional and well trained in his work. He used advanced tools/techniques to locate leaks that were otherwise impossible to find. Saved me so much time and money. Definitely go with Leak Locators!!!

I live in Venice, Florida. Wish I paid more attention to the previous post.I called at 9:00 a.m.; I was advised the cost was $300 for a technician to show up and said he would definitely find the leak. Andrew was at my home at 11:00; arrived with a neat, professional persona and several thou$and$ of equipment including Bose listening devices and began the tour outside my home tending to the outside water faucets. Seemed like a good start.Upon conclusion (two hours later), Andrew said the leak was in the master bath below the slab in an outside wall, most likely in an elbow joint delivering water to the toilet. He marked the floor with blue tape and advised his pin-point location could be off by 4 inches ... but it was definitely there.Paid Andrew $300.00; called the plumber.Plumber arrived the following day; cut 4 inch hole in the slab and exposed the elbow joint in the wall by breaking the outside cinder block. Everything in sight was bone dry. Plumber advised another Leak Specialist instead of the one I used. I opted to call Leak-Locators back and advised Shane that the area Andrew indicated was bone dry ... Shane of Leak-Locators Inc advised complete homeowner satisfaction and sent Andrew back.Andrew arrived ...opened up more electronic devices and an hour later confirmed the same place he said it was the first time. Further, Andrew said the plumber did not make the hole large enough to find the leak. Andrew left; plumber returned - cut slab two feet square; no leak and all the ground area was still dry; Paid plumber $350.00.Called Florida Leak Pros which was recommended by the plumber. Jerry arrived at 7:00p.m, and worked with ear buds and a stethoscope and at 10:00p.m. advised where the leak was and suggested that if I gave him permission to cut the wall, he would repair the leak before he left. I agreed. He cut the wall free of sheetrock about 1 foot square and cut the leaking pipe and sealed it off thereby repairing the leak.After Jerry left, I was then responsible for restoring the area that did NOT need to be destroyed because the actual leak was SIX FEET away from where andrew confirmed.All totaled, I am out nearly $1,200; so I asked Leak-Locators to refund the $300. I got no reply.I gave them one star because Andrew had clean shoes and arrived on-time.

Terrible! Heinous! Technician Andrew arrived at my home three hours after he was scheduled to be there.. Smelled horribly of B.O. and his shoes looked like he had just sprinted through a muddy war-zone. Stated he had found the leak after two hours of walking around aimlessly, singing with headphones in. He marked it and left. Plumber came, exposed said leak. No leak was found. The plumber called a friend and the actual leak was located and fixed same-day. I would NOT recommend this SHAM of a company. FRAUDS!

Came, claimed found leak, plummer says no, not the correct leak, Leak Locators will not return to correctly identify problem. LL does not repair, only locates. Spent 30 minutes, said it was a surface leak (plummer says not) charged $300, will not return. Beware!
