Lost my old barbershop, closed. I enjoy a good old fashioned barbershop. Found Daves on Google. I cant tell you how pleased I am with the choice. Dave, and his son Joshua, both welcomed me and Josh was my barber. Not only was the haircut terrific but, Josh was sociable and made me feel like I had been coming there for years. In my opinion, this place is a diamond in the rough. Ill be back for sure. Thanks to Josh and Dave.

I had Stephanie and she did a great job - I just showed her a picture on my phone of what I normally get with a haircut, and she did it. She was friendly and also diligent! Ive been coming here for about 3 years now and each and every time the cuts never disappoint, Im always satisfied. Dave, Josh and John are amazing barbers who like to get to know their clients and exceed their expectations plus the brief buffer massage you get at the end of each cut is my one of my favorite additions they do for their customers.

This is a great barber shop, the barbers were welcoming and I left with a great hair cut. The shop was clean and had a laid back atmosphere. The hockey stuff marking the walls and the display was cool. Swede gave me a good fade when I asked for short clippers on the sides and a short style on top and he finished it up with a clean neck shave using a straight razor.

This is a great place! Gives you that small town kinda feel and attention that you dont really get with the comercial guys. Shaped up the back of my neck nicely with a straight razer, and used a vibrating massager on my neck and shoulders at the end to top it off. Definitely coming back and telling my friends and family.

Best shop in Fort Myers hands down! Do not waste your time going anywhere else... TRUST ME!!! Dave is very meticulous when it comes to cutting your hair and he always strives to ensure you leave his shop happier then when you arrived. He always takes his time when cutting your hair to make sure it is cut just how you like it, and if for some reason you get home and realize there is something wrong, he encourages you to come back as soon as possible for him to make you happy! Honestly, most barbers are out there to just cut as many heads as possible to collect as much money as they can, but thats not Dave, he is there to establish a satisfying relationship with his customers in order for them to keep wanting to come back time and time again. Go to Daves one time and I bet you go back again just like I have been. However, make sure you call to make an appointment with Dave himself since he only cuts by appointment. He is that good! Nonetheless, his shop does allow walk-ins, but you will not be able to get Dave. Be smart, go here, and do not waste your time going from barber to barber until you eventually end up at Daves anyways since he is the best in town.. Not just professionally, but personally as well!

I got a great haircut from Josh yesterday. I asked him to use his best judgement, and I ended up with something a little different than usual for me, which it looks great on me, and my girlfriend loves it. Last time, John cut my hair and did a pretty good job. Its a really good value for only $15. Both times the cuts were even all over and flawless (unlike some other places that charge even more). Im going back and I highly recommend them.

I came across Daves Barber when i first moved down here and chose it based off all the great reviews he had. Let me tell you, it not only lived up to my expectation but surpassed it. If you are looking for a great, old school kind of barber than Daves is for you!!Dave takes his time and pay attention to every detail which i love. Dave take about 30 minutes per cut and he is in high demand so CALL AHEAD. Generally a day or so before! I love the atmosphere of Daves Barber and most importantly the cut. He always finishes off with a straight edge shave with warm shaving cream on the back of your neck and then a nice massage with this vibrating leather pad that just feels amazing.I always feel like a million bucks after I walk out of Daves and you will too!

Ive been going to Daves for years to have my hair cut, theres no other place to get your hair cut and be in a warm comfortable environment where you instantly feel like part of the family. Recently his son also works at the barber shop, making it three generations cutting hair under the same roof (Dave, John and Josh). I have been going to Daves barber shop since he opened in 2009. I just get a regular haircut, nothing fancy. Daves always fits the bill. Now that he has both his father and his son with him, it really feels like a down home place. These guys know their stuff. I usually walk in, I never wait very long. Usually grandpa, as I call him, cuts my hair. Occasionally grand son Josh cuts my hair, hes a good kid. There is also 2 other barbers, Ray and Swede, both good guys. you cant go wrong going here.

On a scale from 1-10 Dave deserves a 20. Im in my mid 40s, somewhat picky about my haircut. Dave became a friend of the family since we met him 3 years ago at his location on 41 and College Pkwy. Hes been doing my hair and my sons ever since. Dave pays close attention to detail, especially to what my wife has to say about how sharp she likes her guys to look. He is very peculiar about that and will always ask if she had anything to say about the previous visit. Dave is very professional, very respectful and very friendly. Hope to have him around for years to come. By the way the haircut is topped off with a shoulder massage, outstanding service I may say.

After nearly 4 years of wondering aimlessly from barber chair to barber chair...I knew the second I sat Down I had found my home. The chairs are comfortable. The place is decorated with lots of cool vintage decorations. The staff is friendly, experienced and an overall joy to deal with. My experiences at Daves are always enjoyable. I have tried many barber shops around ft. Myers and I was not happy until I found Daves. This could be one of the most friendly places I have ever been to. The workers are ALWAYS happy and very talkative. Simply put, Dave is the man. Just as the other reviews describe, the setting is relaxing and Im able to forget about work, the baby, and everything else (Unless Dave asks how things are going which he normally does). I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for an airline layover, and looked on google for a place nearby for a haircut. I found Daves, and the awesome reviews dont lie. Short walk to Daves. Swede cut my hair and did an excellent job. The place is an old school barber shop with lots of sports memorabilia and classic rock music. I felt like one of the family after I met Dave, his father John, his son Josh, and Swede. You cant go wrong coming here for a cut. Dont forget to bring cash as its cash only, but very reasonably priced.

Dave is the best barber around and quite literally the best Ive ever been to. His shop is filled with awesome memorabilia. The environment is so relaxed and you wont be treated as a dog like some of the chains in the area. I work next to a best cuts and refuse to go there even with a discount. To sum it up, Dave is a classy guy and doesnt mind taking the extra time to make sure your hair is perfect, he even goes as far as using a straight razor to get into the harder spots. He also finished off with an electronic back massage just to make my day that much better. This was my first time there, and not the last.

When a previous owner, Del, passed away four years ago, I thought I would have to find a new barber or maybe even one those clips salons (yikes). Those customers who stuck around were blessed about one year later when Dave bought the business. Earlier this year when the shop moved, I followed even though it meant my days of walking there were over.I appreciate being able to make an appointment, so I don’t have to spend time waiting for Dave. However, if appointments don’t suit you, just show up and Mose will be able to seat you soon.Dave remembers you and how to cut your hair. He treats you like a member of the family, including the good nature ribbing. This is everything a barber shop should be. I came in ten minutes before the shop closed and came out ten minutes later with a great haircut for a good price of $15. John did a great job on cutting the top a bit shorter and touching up around my ears. He also cleaned up the back of my neck and gave me a free massage. Definitely coming back for my next cut!

I found this place and have not looked to another. I have had my hair cut by all but Dave himself and have been pleased everytime. Just met Swede yesterday. Good guy. He cut all my hairs! I like that you can just drop in or you can also call and schedule and appointment when you are pressed for time.They have been very patient working with our son who is autistic and does not like haircuts or shampoos.It is a family owned business and it seems to me that they take pride in their work.

Best barber in town! Josh does a great job every time. Dave, Johnny, Swede all are lengendary!Between the three generations of coiffeurs, there must be at least 200 years of experience. I’m sure they’ve seen and done any style you can imagine.Interesting fact about Dave is that he actually invented the “comb-over”. But back before it was stolen he’d named it the “side-saddle”. I tried supercuts, great clips, hairmasters, you name it. Then I found Daves barber shop.Josh is the guy I go to regularly. Swede is very talented as well.
