Used to bounce from super clips to sports clips and anywhere in between. I figured a cut was a cut, Im not getting anything fancy so it doesnt really matter. Happened to stop in here one time about a year ago and havent gone anywhere since. They are great to talk to, style awesome, styles, and they do an amazing beard trim! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Valerie for about a year now and I’m going to miss her so much when I move. She is one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. She’s super friendly and I consider her a good friend. She has been cutting my hair for a year and has dyed/bleached it multiple times tho I mainly do it on my own time. In fact she is the one that encouraged me to start dyeing and bleaching it myself rather than spending hundreds of dollars at a salon like I was doing before I met her. My boyfriend has had his hair dyed and cut by her several times which is how I found. Valerie is also super supportive of the lgbt community and has cheered me on during my transition. That being said everyone that works here as a barber is super talented and I’m thinking about going to cosmetology because of the positive experiences and encouragement I have gotten from going there as multiple people including Valerie told me I have potential. I’m still in high school so we shall see I’m graduating this year and have a million careers I want to do that I haven’t been able to narrow down yet.

Having just relocated to Fort Myers, FL from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!) I was in need of a new barber! I spent a whole month looking around before committing to a place. My mom is a hair stylist and has cut my hair my entire life so it was a big decision for me! I ended up booking a haircut with Valerie and I am ecstatic over the haircut, and experience. The chairs up front are just a luxurious as the barber chairs.For the cut, I walked in and was set up with a newer barber. He took his time (I was in no rush) and made sure he cut with care and precision. The store manager and the owner both performed a quality check on his work and then suggested a few tweaks, which he did with no problem! HQ has great staff, theyre always friendly, and make sure your experience there is a good one. I have been going to Corey for 6 years, and wont let anyone else cut my hair. And have also turned my girlfriend into a HQ customer due to Coreys ability to cut/color both men, and womens hair.

I’m not here to bash anyone; just an honest review. I haven’t been to a barber in 20 plus years and I decided I don’t want to trim myself anymore. I was looking for a barber to shave my head and shape my beard. After searching the area and reading reviews; I chose this store and called and made an appointment. The girl on the phone was pleasant and answered all of my questions. When I arrived for my appointment; my barber was just finishing up his lunch break so I sat down and waited for just a few minutes. The overall appearance and the staff were very inviting. Although I didn’t play pool or grab a beer; they are options you have. When I met my barber he was just as friendly and inviting as everyone else. It did seem to take some time gathering himself as he fumbled all around his station and at one point dropped his clippers and broke them (now I’m a little nervous). Once he was ready I showed him pictures of what I wanted and we were off! I had great conversation throughout which was pleasant. It was like talking with an old friend. When he was finished and showed me the mirror; we had to discuss quite a bit that was off and he went back to it. After the second round I decided to stop there before it couldn’t be fixed. It didn’t look like a horrible job (we’ll get back to that), but absolutely nothing like what I had asked for. I paid my bill which was on the lower end of what I was given and was ushered out like a king. When I got home I noticed bad lines under my neck that I had to straighten and I discovered my barber does a much better job working on the left side of my face. The right side was not as nicely trimmed of shaped. I also noticed quite a bit of spots missed on my head that I had to shave off as well. It took a bit of time to work out the discrepancies and honestly, I couldn’t wait for it to grow out. Overall it was a great experience until the actual cut (which was the reason I went). Maybe I caught my barber on a bad day. Because my head was being shaved I had to have a barber. Otherwise, I had another person originally picked for the job. I wouldn’t mind giving it another go with the girl I originally wanted. I’ll do the head shave myself (it’s the beard I really don’t want to do anyway). I have a two star because of the end outcome not as a reflection of the store or staff. I hope this review helps to further the success of this store in the future.

I walked in on a whim yesterday and my wait was not long at all. I was greeted by Jenna and I couldnt even get through half the beer she offered me. The staff was curtious, friendly, professional and the place has a great vibe. My stylist was Shannon and although he was an apprentice he had great back up by Valerie and Corey the entire time. New to the area, stopped in for the first time after looking at the reviews online and they do have free beer. never seen that before. i sat with a dude think his name was sean, he had big hair. told him i wanted a bald head and a crispy beard. i thought i would have to try a few shops before i got some one i liked but he was it... saved me a headache. watched a crazy movie on the big screen while the barber did my beard it was dope. will be back.

Went with my wife to get my son a cut. Valerie did an amazing job on my son hair. I noticed there was another person there. I asked him if he was able to do a quick tape that would have only taken 10 minutes. Sean is his name I ask him if he could do it. His response was he would if his girlfriend did not come in the next couple of minutes. Well she did not I was there for 25 minutes he was in the back the whole time and never came out. I guess this dude makes a lot of cash that he is willing to turn down money. Good to know for me don’t know what it is about this town but there are tons of lazy people living in Southwest Florida.

Wow! This place was awesome! I arrived and Valerie greeted my right away and asked if I wanted a cold beer. What? A cold beer? Free? Absolutely! And I sat in a leather recliner waiting my turn. I watched some TV, there was a pool table too. Valerie was awesome and took her time and did everything right. Shaved my head clean and shaped and trimmed my beard. And I got a hot towel on my face. Went here for the first time after growing out my hair for two years and wanted to get it cut short. I was very worried because I had a bad haircut last time my hair was cut very short. They exceeded my expectations and made my hair cut better than I could ever expected!! They were extremely friendly and they make sure they get it perfect for you!!! Love this place just after one visit and I highly recommend it to everyone!

For a clipper haircut not a bad place. However, for a hot towel straight razor shave find another place. Started with clippers to remove stubble. During that process barber nicked my neck. Then barber started using an electric razor, which true to electric razor form burnt my neck. I challenged this and was informed will be getting to real shave. Not even a good shave. All other straight razor shaves from multiple barbers included hot towels and lather. This was a hot, mildewed towel and paste wax type shave product.Will not go back.

I tried them out today and yes the reviews were spot on. Valerie did an AWESOME JOB! She asked me what I wanted and she delivered. She pays attention to detail to get it right. She is also a very nice young lady and likes to talk which is great. Theres nothing more boring than sitting there quite and not having any kind of conversation. I TOTALLY recommend. New to area and finally forced to find a place to get a haircut. Had been going to the same lady up north for the past 30 years. This place is great. People are nice and do a good cut (I chose Teresa). Really nice to get the free beer and chair massage.Facilities is in a bit of an old 2 store strip mall and looks a bit sketchy. Dont let that scare you away. It almost scared me off.Absolute best is the masseuse Yuseli. She is wonderful. Started with the included-with-haircut 5 min chair massage and now Im up to weekly 60 min massages. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Jenna was great, my hair was cut exactly as I wanted it.

I usually end up with a good hair cut. But this time my beard is uneven, Shawn seemed like he was in a hurry just to be done. When I went to wash my hair at home I found long uncut pieces in the back on my head, behind my ears. The top of my head wasn’t even cut to the proper length. My girlfriend and I had to go back through and attempt to fix it. Wish I could get my $30 back because it was defiantly not worth it.
