GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! This place is a scam. When they rent the car to and upgrade you to unlimited miles you pay for it right then. The people in the office a very nice at rental. At the return they wanted to charge me again, but when I went inside things changed again and at that point I was even supposed to get money back which I found odd. HOWEVER, a few days later they hit you with an email and charge you for the unlimited miles once again on the backside with a huge markup. The customer service us terrible once you have dropped off the car and get that email. Only machines and hang ups. You have to physically go back to the location to talk to anyone and then the rental agreement has suddenly changed AGAIN in their system and their hands are tied. It is ridiculous!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Worst car rental experience I have ever had. I travel a significant amount and always get rentals. In the past 10 years I have never experienced anything like this. We landed and had to shuttle to this car rental, the original listing said the facility was at the airport, it was not. Then when we got there the AC was broken in the facility. The staff was slow and not so friendly. We had to lay down a $250 deposit only to get charged $300. When it came to returning the car they said the deposit would take 3-5 business days to go back into our account. We still have yet to receive the deposit back! They claim that the deposit has been returned but it wasnt. They also said they would never overcharge us but my bank statement reflects the $300 charge, not $250 like they said and what our contract said. Either way, save yourself time and headache and book with a more well established car rental agency.

Both cars we requested were scratched, smelled awful, and the seat was soiled and had blood stains. We requested a new car after the initial one was given to us dirty and they gave us an even dirtier one.The workers were on their phones And threw random prices at you . The workers and manager (joao) Changed the prices frequently and gave different deposits when we didnt agree to the initial 500 security deposit (yes they can lower or remove it). The manager (joao) instead of waiving the trade in fee (that was initially 45 then later 95 )in Miami -since they didnt have more cars and gave us awful service - told us to go to a different company instead.Do not let them fool you and please choose a different company because they would have most likely found any reason to charge you.

Worst place to rent a car ever waited in line for over an hour then canceled my reservation even tho we called multiple times even though where outside. Said wait was because of the car wash but then all the cars pull up dirty and filled with people. They don’t clean the cars. Jesus is cool very nice front desk terrible they know the scam they are running as they know patrons need the cars forcing extra charges or they can go somewhere else but their is no other places with booking

Last minute surprises and charges at the counter. They either charge you $7/ day off you want to use your own insurance or $10/ day to use theirs. That was in addition to the supplemental insurance I already purchased from them online. I felt a “let’s rip off tourist vibe.” Also, even worse was the car tire pressure light was on when I picked it up. I had to go get air in the tire every day on my trip. I don’t mind malfunctions but this confirms that they don’t check the vehicle before renting it out.

Never ever come here regardless of how much money you save. First of all they had me wait like 40 minutes for a shuttle then I get here and the representative have a complete attitude. Didnt they give me a vehicle with the entire windshield shattered.This place is a disgrace just pay the extra $50 or $100 to go to a reputable car rental place

A wonderful service and 100% recommendable. The shuttle picked us up at the airport punctually at the time we arrived, in fact when we landed I already had a message from them to tell me where they were. They dropped me off at my house. For the return trip they were just as professional, they were waiting for us 10 minutes before the agreed time. Thank you for such an excellent service!

This place is the worse...stay away and dont be fooled by the fake good reviews.(look carefully, all new accounts) They charge you a $10 per day claims management fee, make you $300k in liability coverage not just full coverage. If you dont, they charge you $20+ a day for insurance. They make you use a credit card. Debit cards get surcharged $15. If you opt out of using there daily toll charge of $20. They will charge you $25 for each unauthorized toll used. Locals can only use the car 50 miles a day. Im sure that Im forgetting a couple more things too. Again, best advise is just too stay far, far away

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I returned my car just how I got it and did not get my deposit back. No one answers the phone or email. Also they make you pay to carry 300k in liability. So your own insurance will never be enough. Added fees for everything. Go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!

I would never rent a car from this place again. When I rented a car, they charged me $7.99 a day for adding my own AAA insurance on to the rental vehicle. I have never seen Rental Companies do that nor I was given any heads up about it.January 1 2021 was when I returned the car at this location around 8.20 AM. Nobody was there on site to accept it back. I understand it was a holiday but there was no room in their parking lot so I had to park the vehicle in a slightly odd spot.I am attaching pictures of where I have parked the vehicle.Upon calling their helpline number, they didnt respond so I had to call an UBER to take me to the Airport.

I had the worse experience with this rental company. DO NOT rent from this place. There are lots of hidden fees from the original quote. They don’t rent to Fl residents unless you pay extra for unlimited miles, they rip you off with an activation daily fee for the subpar. DAILY!!!! I ended up paying a lot more than quoted. I usually rent from enterprise for all my trips. Unfortunately this time they didn’t have 7 passages van. And now almost a month later I find another charge in my card.One good thing was the vehicle was in excellent conditionsI will never rent from this place and Do not recommend.

This place is absolutely horrible. My family was there for over an hour and a half just trying to get our car. Everywhere else Ive rented a car it takes 15 minutes max to get the car. The reason is theyll tell you that you can use your own insurance but once you get there suddenly therell be a problem and theyll try to get you to pay for their insurance. Every person in line just happened to have the same insurance problem. And one at a time every customer had to call their insurance company and have documents faxed over. On top of that they would only help one person at a time. Pay the extra money and just go to a reputable car rental company. Finally, the car was clean (except for a stain that they were already aware of) and it was in good working order.

Only gave this business 3 stars because of the employees and price. But remember you get what you paid for. Shuttle from airport to business location was a quick ride but Shuttle was filthy. Seat were stained and dirty and so was the rental car. Stain seats, crumbs all over the floors, in between the gears.

I advise Florida residents to not rent a car from this place! The rental company does not rent to Florida residents although they are located in Florida. The only way they will rent to you if you have your own insurance policy with a limit 300k-500k with certain insurance companies. There are a lot of hidden fees-they charge for everything because they are a small company. The customer service is really poor. Do not be fooled at the advertised price online. Thank God I was able to rent a SUV from Hertz and they had what we needed on such short notice at a better price. Hertz put me in a brandnew Nissan Rougue 2021. Stick with the major rental companies.

Worse car rental experience ever. Had a customer service agent change my reservation from miami to fort lauderdale. Agent reserved time after they were closed. Called to confirm reservation and they said they would not be open and offered no refund. Stay away.

Never rent at this place!!!! They never keep the price they give at first. At the end you will end up paying double of what they had said. After you pay they just send you an email of what you paid extra. Rent at the airport it’s a lot better and they will not steal your money like this place does. They steal your money and expect to fix everything with an “ I’m sorry, but we can’t to anything”

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Their website is not updated and my family arrived unable to use their debit card. This is something you should let people know before or you know FIX YOUR WEBSITE. I used this car rental company 4 months ago and they took my debit card with no problem, now theyre saying they havent used debit cards for years lol really? My family had to go to another car rental company and obviously pay more because it is a same day reservation. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate. I would not recommend this company.

Yes, I booked a car the night before on Expedia. When I arrived at the location. The rude lady in the front told me, I couldnt pick up the car cause they needed a credit card. Even do Expedia charge my debit card. She said to call Expedia to get my refund. THEY DONT TAKE DEBIT CARD. I TOLD HER THEY ALREADY CHARGE ME. CALL BOTH EXPEDIA N NEXT CARD. THEY DONT EANT TO REFUND MY MONEY. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I HAD TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER RENTAL CAR AT THE TIME. MIND YOU IT WAS 6AM.

Future renters BEWARE!!! I booked through priceline as I figured priceline would have reputable car rental agencies they worked with. I was under the impression that this place would be at the airport and it wasnt so we hopped on a shuttle and were taken to this shack. From the moment we arrived there was a long wait. The guy asked for insurance and told us our 100,000 damage coverage was not enough for there 25,000 car so he said we would have to pay for insurance. Then told us there was a $500 deposit so at this point i started to look at their reviews online and noticed the 2.3 star ratings which I should have done before I ever came to pick up the car. Thats on me. After the horrible customer service and hidden fees I ended up canceling my reservation and took a shuttle back to the airport and booked through a PROFESSIONAL car agency. Although I wasted time and money, I will never support a business who takes advantage of people like this. I will also put in a complaint to priceline.

You will be charge for hidden fees, plus they will find a way to charge for anything, if you are coming from Canadá do not rent a car, as per the clerk Alberto they don’t take Canadian, Mexican or Puerto Rican insurance. They speak Spanish, so do I still got the worst service. You better off with Enterprise.

8/19/21 EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL !!! I booked through PRICELINE so they are at fault also. Their representation was completely false. Had to take 2 shuttles to car Next car Next car shuttle smell horrible & filthy during a pandemic. Surprise extra charges not charged what PRICELINE quoted. I had to call my car insurance company and had to have them email a copy of declaration of coverage. Lucky it wasn’t a weekend!!!! Took over an hour arguing about extra charges. Then to top it off the rental Car was filthy inside. I went back in and asked for bleach wipes and cleaned the inside of car. Now will have to make extra time to take 2 shuttles for flight home. I tried canceling rental all together but PRICELINE non refundable!! Beware of low cost daily rental hidden fees!!! Stay away!!

AWFUL!!!I couldnt believe how unprofessional these people are. They took an hour to pick us up from the airport, due to lack of drivers; then had to wait another hour to be surprised with a deposit fee, and other fees because I didnt have a credit card on me. The place was full of flying bugs, too!!I was told I was going to get my deposit back in 7-10 days. Its being 45 days and nothing!!The car was great. Thats the star.

Customer service was horrible, not to mention they never refunded my money back.We flew into FLL June 30 and decided to rent a car with NextCar through Expedia. We waited at the pick up location for over 30 minutes despite the sign saying they pick up sooner than that. We ended up cancelling this reservation and when I called the company, the guy who picked up was rude and had no tact.Today, August 10, 2021, I am still fighting Expedia and NextCar for my refund. Unfortunately, my bank is requiring further information (cancellation email), which I was not given.Please do not use this company!!!!!!!! They will scam you.

They also charge you for an activation fee, they say is mandatory per the State of Florida for the Tolls even though I didn’t go through ANY tolls. So when you get a quote with your FINAL price including taxes and fees, you MUST add at least another $50..‼️ Terrible TERRIBLE customer service they NEVER... EVER answer the phone. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN and TURNED INTO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU...I will NEVER use them again.

Stay away,, they’re running a scam with a license,So first I got one of their cars online for really good price, went ahead and rented and paid for it online, upon my arrival to pickup the car, I was asked to have an insurance for 300K property damage!! Can you believe it ? Then they charged me 4 times what the car rent was for their property damage policy, the car was dirty and very smelly with body damage, well some people where turned away claiming their reservation was canceled, my 2 cents stay away, if you’re paying you better pay someone else for better service

Wouldn’t recommend. The service was less than subpar. The advertised price was doubled once I was here to pick up my vehicle bc of all kind of excess fees. They didn’t honor the insurance I purchased through the booking website and told me that I needed to call the company bc it wasn’t their problem to fix. The agent I worked with was rude and condescending when I asked about the specific extra fees. Then upon returning, I had to wait for the shuttle to the airport (the place is not even in the airport) for at least half an hour. I had to go inside to remind them that I was still waiting. Overall poor service.

Rented a car for the weekend…..arrived to pick it up in what seemed like the back slums of Tijuana, Mexico. My all in reservation was 300 by the time I went to pay it jumped to close to 450.00 plus they needed a deposit of 500.00. And they wanted to force me to pay for their insurance. I personally think even 1 star is a stretch. Stay clear!!!! Went to budget and boom in an out in 15mins.

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with in my life. The employees were rude and blatantly did not stand by their reservations. Words cannot even do justice to how this so called company treats people. They get you to an offsite seedy office where they try to charge people hundreds of dollars in extra fees even after giving you rental fees, taxes and other miscellaneous fees at your time of reservation. I watched them try to take advantage of people who were so shocked at the information this company was giving them. I read and reread the fine print of their operation and could not find any printed information to support the fees they were charging. RUN FROM THIS PLACE THEY ARE PRIVATELY OWNED.

The excessive added fess will cost you more then the actual cost to rent the car. You will wait for almost an hour to be picked up from the airport to the offsite location. And, if you have an early flight, no one is at the office to either return the car or to get a ride back to the airport. It appears cheap at first but in the end it cost more than if you were to just get a car at the airport. You don’t need the headache.

Horrible customer service!! Very shady staff!! Person that picked us up at the airport was rude, when got into the office all the staff was with rude faces! The car I rented was so scratched up! They tried to blame me for one of their scratches telling me they are going to charge me 200$! So of course I am lawering up! And definitely this business should be shut down!! The is a girl who to best described looks all fixed up with surgeries all in black you wont miss her because she so obviously not natural, she “took” pictures of the car and when i asked to show me the pictures it was obviously not the pictures, they show me a photoshoped picture that you can tell they ADD the time and date! So WATCH OUT!! I know exactly what went on that day and the picture was not what she took when we were taken the car off the place. They should all be shut down and sued!!

Worst experience for renting cars ever.Very small shuttle that doesnt fit family or luggage so you have to leave everyone at the terminal. Customers waiting for their cars for more than 4 hours after spending more than 3 hours in line to finish paper work and at the end the reserved car is not available.Stay away from this place.And at the end they didnt want to refund my deposit money.

I called the company 1800# from the website asked about hidden fees and see exactly how much I would pay with deposit and rental then I booked for one price online and I got there it was something different! First no I didn’t wanna use a credit card so I had a debit bank card which they take. Whatever you do please DONT use Nextcar! They are THEIVES!!! They are unresponsive. I tried calling them & Expedia tried calling them. They were unresponsive until after the date of my rental. I got no car & no option of at least modifying my rental dates because of their unresponsive. They are trying to keep the money I paid although they DIDNT provide any service or vehicle.My Expedia itinerary number was72104263057430.

Absolutely terrible! Rates are not what advertised, came up 40% higher than advertised. You have to take shuttle there and return at same location not at airport as advertised. They gave me nasty dirty old car and only after I asked to cancel and refund whole thing they gave me option to choose cleaner and newer car. Good thing I took pictures because upon return I was blamed for scratches that were there. I showed pictures and was blamed that I just took pictures after damage, good thing that I had time stamp on it. They don’t care about customers.

I will never rent from Next Car ever again. Upon arrival they made us wait nearly 2 1/2 hours to get our car. Then once the wait was over the rental cost went from $178.00 for 5 days to $418.00 because my own car insurance only covered damages up to $150k. They require your car insurance to cover $300k. Thats ridiculous considering I was only renting the economy car. When I said to the guy Budget didnt do this he said Well, maybe you should book again with Budget I asked him to repeat that again because I didnt/couldnt believe what I heard. He said clearing his throat Maybe you should book with Budget if their price is so much better!I said Okay! I will! I grabbed my stuff, turned around and announced to the over crowded lobby of frustrated renters what he had said. Others in my party left as well and cancelled reservations. His comment to me cost the business $1600.00 that day in reservations that walked out the door. We left and went to Lesters diner to reconsider our options where a uber met us and took us back to the airport. I DID BOOK with Budget by the way. And 10% back after returning it safely, plus the Fast Break is amazing! On the Flip side they did not charge me anything for canceling this reservation and Lesters had wonderful food. The guy probably didnt charge us because the guy knew he messed up. Its a scam service. Shuttled us 3 times before arriving to the off site of air port destination, then .ade us wait again, to call me up for rental to charge almost double. Lesters diner is within walking distance and has amazing service and food! Our Flight arrived in Florida at 9:40am and we finally got into our Tacoma Truck from Budget at 2:00pm. I feel that this company did not rob me of my $ but they did rob my entire family of our time and this wasnt the best way to start our sunny Florida trip!! Peace Out!
