Really great staff. The check out lady was so happy & friendly and all smiles. There turned out to be an issue with the car I rented and had to come back for a different car. The young man at returns was so apologetic and helped me with my bags back to the car selection. I was bummed because I had a really good car! He asked if I wouldnt mind waiting a few minutes. He then came back with the same type of vehicle and said they took care of the gas too. Everyone went above & beyond & were so friendly! That doesnt happen often at car rental pick up. Wish I would have got everyones names. They deserve to be recognized.

Online security deposit fees werent listed, so I hopped on the shuttle & wallah!!! Plenty of cars available at affordable rates. Secured a Vehicle w/a $200. Deposit and drove away a Happy Camper! Next day we drove to the Miami Cruise Port drop-off location with Free Shuttle to Port Miami- #CruiseControl 🥂

Im adding the comment if I could give them a minus two stars I would.. if youve ever been here you already know ...but how can picking up a rental car take longer than the flight if possible try to get the VIP or some type of pass where you go to the front of the line or to a special desk otherwise stop at the food court and get your dinner lunch or breakfast before you head over to get your rental car... pay this Post close attention or you will be very upset at the beginning of your trip.. pay the extra 10 or 15 dollars to the rental car company in advance to move to the front of the line or get VIP treatment

Horrible take to long to check you in. Also car I paid for wasnt available. Then they give me a car that the smart key wasnt working. I had to lock the car with the actual key. It was a bad experience.

UPDATE: Shuttle bus drivers are still on strike! They are still passing waiting areas without picking up people! AVOID! TAKE A CAB!Terrible! Good luck getting a shuttle here...the drivers won’t pick you up! The drivers need to be fired...how can one run an airport this poorly?! The building is in disrepair...broken escalators, broken elevators, nonfunctional departure and announcement boards, and broken doors that won’t open! Lines are just bad...save yourself some time and get a cab to an off site place. Absolutely ridiculous and appalling! This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

Dude they rock! Talk about awesome. Not only did we get the exact car we asked for, but the gentleman that helped us was beyond helpful, friendly, personable and helped make the experience memorable.We have never been to the area before so he not only gave us helpful directions OUT OF the airport, but the easiest and safest way to head towards our destination. Freaking amazing!

Alamo rental was friendly and efficient. The quantity /variety of standard SUVs was more limited than preferred. The Chevy traverse was nice, clean and roomy for our needs.

A beautiful new facility, but a bit of a hassle compared to in terminal rental counters since you have to take a tram, which stops at the economy parking garage first.On the way back into the airport to return the vehicle the signage is not the best, and you have to go thru 3 traffic signals (at least) to reach the drop off. Once in the drop off if there is no one to guide you, good luck finding the tram as the signage is once again lacking. You will be in the terminal about 7 min later if you just miss the tram.

Enterprise need to have 1 rental systems for airports and branches. If got a rate in the branches with a reservation and they dont have my vehicle and send me to the airport guaranteeing the same rate the airport should allow the customer the same rate and not penalizing us the customer with the going rate. Especially if I reserved a month ago.

Nice center but the last 2 times I rented (Hertz and Budget) I have been over charged. One time because there was no one to take my car and they checked it in late from Hertz. And the other time because they gave me three quarters of a tank and said it was full. So after I returned it I was charged $37 for a quarter tank from Budget.

Great customer service we had went through and paid for a car at zezgo and failed to tell us that they closed at 9:00 but over at Fox car rental they immediately helped us and we ran a vehicle in less than 10 minutes

I wish I could give zero stars. I rented from here twice and wait time was 2 hours or longer. The time when there was one person moved faster than the time there were 6 people. I cant fathom what the problem is but this will never again be an option for car rentals for me.

Talk about convenience. Shuttle to and from airport terminals, all rental companies in 1 spot. Terminal 1 for united is right on the lower level so I didnt have far to go.

The wait for the car at Thrifty/Dollar was over an hour. Only two guys actively working the front and every other party seemed to have extensive problems with whatever which made the line take forever. It was a cf. I have a blue chip with thrifty, but they dont have the bypass the counter option or didnt that day.

Slowest place ever! They didnt have enough people working. The line was an hour long! Places like that should get paid by how many customers they service each day and lines would move faster. Only 4 folks at the counter with 9 stations just taking their time as the line grew longer and longer.

Easy to navigate. Just hop the shuttle, we went to Hertz and then selected car and drove out. Easy return, also. Shuttle to airport and flight.

Fraud. This company has taken more than $1000 from a card when the rental was only $199. I have spoken to an AVIS representative regarding the issue and was informed the issue had been resolved and was given a case number. Yet, they have continued to charge the account. As a result, I opened up a fraud case at the bank and closed the account and opened another. All of this just to enjoy a weekend, I would never recommend renting a vehicle from this company. This practice is similar to Wells Fargo and why they had to shut down so many bank branches because they were taking money from peoples accounts and setting up fake accounts. This establishment needs to be shutdown for shady business practices. I filed a complaint with the BBB and FTC; next step I will be hiring an attorney.

Rented from Hertz. Easy to get to within the airport. Chelsea. Not sure of spelling. She checked me out with a car. I got confused and took the wrong car. She was extremely nice and helpful. Im old and suffer with several conditions. She really went above and beyond her job to be helpful. Wish more workers were like her. Great attitude. Made a stressful situation for me calm. The facility is right across from the terminals. Easy walk to get there

Avis was really Great on Tuesday!!! Felt bad for the staff working, with 10 counter spots and only 4 workers it was rough. The young lady said they had 3 to 4 call in sick. Took awhile in line, but at least they had cars!!!Thanks Again,

The Rental car agency Sixt. Rude, rude, rude, rude. Especially the manager who must have been bullied as a child. Not professional at all.Thank goodness I paid for my car in advance, she thought she was going to punish me and not rent me a car. How evil is that? It didnt work. Shame on her. I even completed the survery, dont seem like upper management gives a hoot. As they say it always start at the top. Speaks volume on the attitude of whose running the show.

A nightmare Budge rent in fort Lauderdale airport they charge $118 dolls for the insurance when he was clear with them that we dont need their insurance and when were being return the car we try to spoke with 1 of the representatives at the budge window and he was rude with us and he said that he can do nothing at respect so in other words they still our money in front of us be careful with them they charge you extra for their insurance without your authorization and later they dont return your money or give you any satisfaction or consideration like a costumer. 😡Totally disrespectful

Once you are close to airport, follow the signs and marked lanes( basically keep left ). Easy! Check in and dropping off the car was simple, fast . Friendly staff all around. If you fly Southwest Air dont take a shuttle back just go to level 2 and walk a bridge to Terminal 1

Budget car rental took me 2 and half hours to get rental car. They assigned me a Chevrolet Malibu and couldnt find it and then a Nissan Altima and finally a Toyota Camry. It took me 90mins to get there on fight and 150 mins at rentals places. I called customer service.... no help at all they kept transferring me to a recording after 60 minutes on hold i gave up... i would like to tell them my whole experience but cant get a hold of anybody... maybe this will work?

Fox rental insurance for foadside assistance is a scam, they never answered the phone and they never returned my call .Actually they did return the call at 7pm 10 hours after the first call and said the oil change needed to be done causing the icon to light up on the dashboard.This was not an acceptable time frame for emergency road service.Newer hybrid cars do not require frequent oil changes and implies the car service was neglected.

Very long line. After coming off a flight you would hope it would stream line. Part of their sales is trying to upgrade you on everything. Even though I said No on a upgrade for the Mailbu, I was still charged! Then had to go out of my way to make sure it was corrected. Make sure you are aware of looking at your contact before walking away.

Very convenient to terminal 1, no shuttle required. Easy enough to navigate. Hertz gold reservation, so getting the car was very quick. Return was easy and simple. Signs clearly marked entrance to rental return.

We used Dollar. Pick up was great, which is why I gave them 2 stars. But when we went to drop off, the area to drop off was blocked so we parked in front of the sign they used to block it off. When we went inside, no one was there. There was a sign thay said they were closed with an 800 number to call for assistance. We called and it just had a message stating their office was closed. We left our key in a little folder, along with the the gas receipt, on one of the computer keyboards at the return counter. Im not sure what they expect people to do that have early flights?? They could, at least, give people a heads up when they pick up and have a drop box for keys.

The communication from the staff was very poor. It was my first time renting a car, I waited in line for more than 30 minutes to return the car. It was cutting close to my flight the lady at the counter stated I didnt have to wait that I could leave after standing in line that long. There should be signs stating if you didnt get a receipt from the guy that took your car keys you dont have to stop at the counter.

Pretty fast and convenient place to rent a car. My choice was Alamo because they had a good deal for me with Costco membership. The return was okay too but the guy pointed out 2 big scratches on the car I had no idea of. They didnt have a process to inspect the car its driven out which sucked because I forgot to check it as we were in a rush to get to a rental house.

Not a very customer friendly environment at 1 am when you get stuck there waiting for a car you prepaid for from AVIS for 4 hours. Very few places to sit, no vending machines with drinks or snacks for people. No hand sanitizer, people standing right up next to each other, only 1 car agency open 24 hours and they were dreadful! Never going to fly through Ft. Lauderdale again and certainly wont rent a car from AVIS!
