I am so pleased to have chosen this complex to live in. After months looking and had relocated from Nyc we found this place. Rene was great from the get,he helped us with every step. Thoroughly explained everything,professional and made the move easy to understand how to set ourselves with utilities etc. Phil is very sweet,he comes in with a smile and gets the work done. So far no issues in waiting on anything. Clean grounds,super cute apartment,very quiet and nice tenants. Pool area is always clean as well. Thank you. We love our home...

I just wanted to reach out and send a HUGE THANK YOU to the Blu team for providing us with such an amazing experience at Blu. We had lived there for 4 years and have nothing but positive things to say about everyone and the community. Nicole was outstanding. Very hardworking, quick to respond to any requests, and making sure that we were always happy while always making sure she stayed within company guidelines. Rene was very sweet and also quick to respond and caring. Phil, from a residents standpoint, is such a great new addition to the team. He would always go above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and he genuinely cared. He genuinely cares about that property and the maintenance and it is clear to see. Keep up the great work! We will make sure to recommend Blu to anyone looking for a rental community!

Thank you to service tech Andrew for promptly completing my maintenance requests. He called ahead before arriving to ensure the time was convenient for me. Although I received a denial for a previous arrest with no conviction. I appreciated the call and realness and opportunity to hear me out with a chance of a reversal. Great staff and very supportive. They could of beat around the bush but instead were upfront and 100 percent honest.

Nice quiet complex. Clean and updated. Private balcony’s sliding glass doors. Gated entry’s and private swimming pool with private outdoor grilling area great for hosting parties. Workout room next to swimming pool.

He resolved the situation quickly, as he promised he would. He is a great addition to the Blu on Marina team.

Excellent maintenance service! I placed a maintenance request and in less than two hours, Phil arrived to service my apartment. Phil provided superior service; my request was for the kitchen sink, and he noticed my clock on the microwave, and stove was not set right and took the initiative to correct it.Thats when you know someone is passionate about the work they do. Phil you ROCK!!!!

We have lived at the Blu for about two years and just renewed our lease. The grounds are kept clean and tidy. We enjoy the pool and gym facilities. The club room is up-to-date TV sets & complementary Italian coffee.The true heart of Blu is Phil, our maintenance supervisor. We have had to put in several small maintenance requests such as air filter changes for our AC and light bulb replacements. Phil is exactly the kind of technician you want entering your apartment and helping you with maintaining your unit. He is kind, friendly and professional.My husband and I had an unwanted iguana visiting our balcony almost daily. We mentioned the pest in passing to Phil, (supervisor) and he not only took initiative to help us resolve the problem but also kept an eye out during his daily rounds to ensure the pest did not return. We found this gesture touching and above and beyond usual role responsibilities.Phil has also given us a hand with small repairs and early hour or irregular requests (off-duty or weekend help with small things e.g - grill pilot, door stuck etc).It is this type of service that you can expect from the Blu. Full service, “community centric” individuals who care about keeping where we live a clean and desirable.The property manager Nicole, is also friendly with an energetic personality while maintaining patience for any concerns we bring to her. She reviews requests carefully and resolves issues promptly.If you are looking for a place that has a community feel with people who care, the Blu is the place.

Service here is horrible, the maintenance manager is the only one who had any kind of customer service, this place goes through management so much. I WILL NOT be renewing here. If you’re looking for a place to live, choose anywhere else!

Love living at Blu! I have been here for about 3 years and couldnt be more happy! The grounds and amenities are kept clean. Nicole (the property manager) and the staff are on top anything you need. I have been here for 3 years, and I do want to mention that the property manager that we currently have is exceptional. She takes care of her tenants very well and is a problem solver at all cost. I also want to say that our maintenance crew is also very good and they never fail me. I absolutely love them all. excellent staff. Upper management should take notice of this.

I have been living here for 30 months already. We LOVE our apartment. It’s in perfect conditions. We take care of it, of course. We are the exact enough people who can live in the apartment.kids have their space and if we have people over it’s perfect too!Thank you to the manager and everyone working in the condo.It’s a shame that some people still don’t know how to live in a community and break the gates or don’t respect the normal rules for living in a condo with many apartments such as leaving trash wherever or smoking or exceeding people in apartments but that’s the way they choose their way of living. Thanks for all your help every time I needed help and also my kids.happy to be here. Wish I would never have to leave this place

They tow without warning even they ARE NOT ANY TOW AWAY SIGNS!!! Second from the first week i moved in my car was keyed over at blu. There was absolutely no help from the leasing office they said that not my problem and even told me it sound domestic. As if that wasn’t bad enough they towed my guest car with no warnings! There is NOT EVEN a tow away sign ! RIDICULOUS!!! Stay away . They are NO help we had to call around to find the car because they are zero signs! Save your self the stress!

I have been to all parts of the world and every high-end store and luxury hotel and the key item that makes a difference for anyone is customer service. Kelsi and property manager Kenny have mastered this on so many levels. They make everyone feel like they are not renting,, that they are at home. My leasing experience was with Kelsi she explained everything, gave full details of the property, the application and leasing process. Everyone hates apartment hunting, but she made it so easy and simple, I actually enjoyed it. Kelsi is awesome!!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. DO NOT MOVE HERE.Negative stars if possible. Maintenance doesnt speak English, and will close your service request without fixing, due to not being able to properly communicate. Management changes every few months.Office staff is unresponsive when you stop in the office and let them know of your actual issues. Office Manager actually tried to yell at me, citing to me that they dont know my issues if I dont report them.I report them and they are closed. I stop in the office and report them and I am ignored. Complex manager wont say hello or even introduce herself to residents. When I asked Gina (office), she cited that Joanne was in training and unavailable to meet residents.DO NOT MOVE HERE.

We lived here for over two years and very much enjoyed it. One thing that stands out was the staff. We always had a great experience with them. It was easy to apply, prompt with maintenance and most of all when moving out. Some issues arrived while we were moving and they were always helpful with us on more than one occasion! The only reason we moved is because of a job opportunity out of state.

The space is great and the quality assets of the pool and club house are top of the line. The staff leasing agents and maintenance men are always helpful and friendly. Parking is not the best seems to be more apartments than parking spaces especially if you own more than one car. The noise level of outside is my biggest concern its not the tenants I think its poor design. Everything that happens on the hallway you can heat through your front door even the cars driving down Marina Mile. If the front doors could keep the sound of Fort Lauderdale outside I would stay forever.

Terrible apartment complex since the new leasing manager took over. Loved Suzanne. She’s was truly amazing. I was sad to see her go. It’s a nice complex but some shady individuals up in there.I had a roommate who was looking for another roommate as i was moving back to my hometown. The lease was up in less than 60 days but he wanted to stay and renew but i did not. The new leasing manager assured us that it was an easy process to do a “roommate release” to release me from the contract so he could add someone else on. Oh boy did she lie.First, she assured me that i would get my half of the deposit back. That never happened. On top of that, the guy that was my roommate instead just moved when the contract was up and took the whole deposit and these CRIMINALS allowed that to happen. Then the leasing manager had the nerve to tell me that because i signed that paper, that i had no rights to the deposit. STOP LYING TO YOUR GOOD RESIDENTS. I lived there for 2 years and you allowed him to take my money that i paid and then had the nerve to tell me it’s not mine.Save yourself the trouble people and stay far far away from these crooks.

I was a renter at Blu for over a year and recently moved out due to purchasing a condo. I moved in this building mainly due to the location, size, ease, and safety of the environment. I remained through manager change and can definitely say that the current residential manager is the best the Blu has had. They never failed to respond quickly and efficiently to all requests I made. It was very important for me to be present when any repair persons entered my apartment, and on every occasion, the staff successfully worked within the day/time windows I provided to schedule service. Sure, the building has growing pains and requires fixes big & small on a regular basis, but I always felt the best was being done to create a clean, safe living space. I would not have remained in the building for so long otherwise. I would recommend Blu to anyone.

I lived here with my roommate and I can attest to some of the reviews here. Our apartment was always warm, despite having the A/C at 69 degrees, there was never parking. I emailed management about illegal parking activity from non residents and how it prevents us “residents” the ability to find parking- Their response: “ there are reserved garage spaces available for rent if you’d like?” Really? Instead of looking into it and enforce towing? Blu is a joke. If you’re interested in looking for parking after a long day at work, not finding a space, and having to park your car out of the community on the street? This is the place for you!

Used to be a great place but now is a dissaster. High water bills, no parking at all, loud neighboors, a/c does not cool bedrooms properly. I have to set my ac to 67 degree every night and have the fan on in order to be comfortable( I was told by previous maintenance crew that the ac units that were installed, were too small for the apartments).. We lived here since the complex open 2 years ago. The new manager does not care about residents at all. The property is nice, maintenance is friendly but if you actually want a relaxing place to come home to after a long day at work, Blu is not it.

When I first moved in I thought this place was awesome. The place had a 5 star review, but as Im writing this, it already has gone down to a 3. So, slowly the flaws started to show.One of the grills by the pool has been broken for months, this is just the start. As an engineer I can say that whoever did the HVAC in these apartments did an awful job. I live in an Aloft II and the upstairs is about 5-10 degrees warmer constantly so we have to pay more to keep the upstairs cooler. Ice cream melts in the freezer even though we leave it on the coldest setting. The place has already been sued due to sewage problems. You arent allowed to wash your own car here because its not the tennants water apparently. My roommate fixed one of the burners on the stove because when we moved in, it was broken. There is not enough parking. The structure of the building isnt that great for a brand new buildings. The walls are thins super thin and I can hear my neighbors.Safe to say, I will NOT be renewing my lease. There are far better options for the same price.

Lived at the semi-gated (when they were in working order) Blu for nearly two years. Ive highlighted a few significant experiences during my time living there below.There is a community message board on the online portal. Monitored by the front office, posts are heavily filtered... if they even get approved. I made a heads-up post to the community that the bikes belonging to my girlfriend and I (that were locked right outside our door) were stolen. In the message I simply warned that anyone who had anything outside should bring it inside if they couldnt bear with the thought of it being stolen. This post was never approved by the community manager, thus it didnt appear on the board. After sending an email asking why, as I felt it was important that the community be aware of the theft, I never received a response.Whomever handles the facebook page spends their time posting grandma-level internet memes. I love how time is dedicated to this (honestly, look up Blu on facebook), in place of say, fixing one of the cardio machines which was in a state of non-use for months. Or responding to emails about general issues.The community meeting about general grievances. Steffanee from the office made a gauche appearance as it was coming to an end. When questioned by one resident regarding the recently imposed restricted hours for the pool area, gym, etc. she proudly proclaimed that the management could rescind amenities whenever they pleased. I wonder if thats something theyll add to their print brochure / marketing materials. When I brought up the fact that my bike was stolen, she responded with a snarky well did you email the office?.What would I recommend? Hired security guard, safety cameras. Increased dialogue from the on-site representatives, and actual prompt responses from those to the issues of the tenants. Also a renewed focus on the needs of the community. Does it need poorly painted hallway floors & a vending machine by the pool, or rather working grills that are cleaned and more thought towards the nightmare parking conundrum.Admitting to a shortcoming and presenting a solution is a better approach than pretending it doesnt exist.We ended up moving not very far, but now pay a much better price without the Blu headaches.
