I absolutely love adam and his work, he is super professional and crazy talented. Ive seen him 3 times now and I havent been disappointed any time. The shop itself is super cozy and clean, and Toni is an absolute blast who is just as excited as you to get your tattoo. I always recommend them to everyone I know (I dont have a picture of my custom piece from him yet but it is b o m b)

My son was turning 18 and wanted a tattoo. As an adult who has never had one, I wanted to support his “adult decision” and be informed. We had a consultation with a super sweet artist who took time to explain the process and show us his own and teach us about how they age and change with your skin over time ie. stretch/fade/discolor etc. I was amazed at our second visit as well with the patience, time, and attention to details. This experience made Trevor’s 18th birthday wishes come true.

I rarely leave google reviews but just have to take a moment for this very special little shop. Its rare you find professionals who are willing to take the time and have a conversation with you as a person first and not a customer. Both Toni and Adam were absolutely phenomenal in listening to size changes, requests, etc, regarding my tattoos (I got three done!). The energy in this shop is fantastic! The shop itself is clean, sterile, and fresh. I am also very happy with the quality of my tattoos and the price point I paid. I actually booked my next tattoo as I was so impressed with this shop! I highly recommend this wonderful shop for anyone looking to get a piece, big or small!

My daughter and I had been planning on getting a tattoo together in honor of our lab, Ella, and successfully completing her masters degree. So visiting my son, in Fort Collins, we made a spur of the moment decision to get a tattoo. We were so impressed by the friendliness of the employees working there. Fritz took such care, even thought our tattoos were simple and small. The time he took to ensure the cleanliness of his station was amazing! We so appreciated this, particularly post covid. My daughter and I highly recommend getting tattoos here! If we come back we will definitely revisit. Thank you Fritz for taking such good care of us.

We started off the day being greeted by Tony, she had an amazing energy and was very kind and supportive of the tattoo ideas I had. I came in as a walk in and was able to get in same day so that was amazing. Adam ended up doing my tattoos and was very quick and clean with his work, would definitely recommend. Overall a great experience and I will be back for more :)

I called to see if they had any same day appointments available, and Toni was so kind on the phone and fit me in within the next two hours. When I arrived, Toni was so personable and friendly. She really helped me with finding the correct size, font, and spacing of my tattoo. A lot of tattoo places don’t make you feel as welcome as Small Mountain Tattoo does. They checked my temperature at the front desk and asked a set of health questions. Antonio “T-dog”, did my tattoo, he was beyond amazing as well. Super friendly, precise, and had a great attention to detail. I cannot recommend this place enough. Seriously, if you need any kind of tattoo this is the place to go!! It exceeded all my expectations and I will definitely be coming back in the future!!

Actually it was for my daughter. They were amazingly clean, not at all what I expected for a tattoo place. First one was a great experience, very helpful, a bit pricey I thought. But I watched them clean off the chair before my daughter went to get her ears pierced. So good experience.

I decided to get a tattoo super last minute just because I’m visiting Colorado, I called and spoke with Tony and from there it was just a great experience all around! Tony is so sweet and so quick and gives you all the info you need to know. Adam did my tattoo, also super nice and informative and gives you all the info before the tattoo starts and gives great aftercare instructions. His line work and shading are so amazing. 10/10 recommend

Incredible! From cradle to grave this place embodies quality and professionalism.I came across Adam’s portfolio online and was impressed, so I made an appointment for a consultation. I needed a cover up and had a pretty loose idea on what I wanted. Adam took that idea and created an incredibly beautiful piece of art, beyond what I could’ve dreamed of. The final tattoo was top notch—I can’t stop staring at the beautiful detail and am already getting compliments on the gorgeous design and quality. Inspired me to start planning the rest of my leg ;)His assistant Toni was also super helpful about managing the logistics piece and made the entire process hassle free. She’s also a ton of fun and brings great energy to the shop.Highly recommend this place.

They’re profesional and fun, making for an overall great experience. The tats I got turned out incredible as well. Their receptionist Tony was super friendly and was very helpful with any questions I had, along with awesome conversation. Fritz is an awesome artist and human being! He got the idea of my tattoo and drew it up exactly how I imagined it. He is very professional and goes above and beyond to protect his clients (especially with this pandemic going on). I will definitely be going to him again when I need another tattoo. Also I didnt have to wait 2 years to get in with him which is awesome because of the work he did I totally wouldve waited!

So so so happy with how our tattoos turned out!!! We called in last minute for an appointment for three of us and they were sure to squeeze us in while taking their time to perfect our designs and make sure everything was clean. This is the second time I’ve been tattooed by Adam, first time was at a different shop. This most recent tattoo was actually a rework of a slightly shaded piece I got a year ago somewhere else and wasn’t quite happy with it. Adam did a phenomenal job and was able to give me another gorgeously done tattoo, exactly what I had in mind, maybe even better. The shop is small, excellent vibes and Tony at the front desk is a sweetheart. I know I’ll be getting pieces done by Adam in the future, and I look forward to coming back to this shop.

Stopped in here on vacation for a walk in for me and my fiancée, left with some fantastic pieces. tons of great options in the flash books (seriously check out the flashes), very clean, really well decorated. Adam was our artist, and worked very hard to customize the designs we picked and executed beautiful pieces that my fiancée and i are proud to wear.ive been to a lot of shops and have lots of tattoos, but small mountain has a hidden gem that sets them apart from the rest: Toni! what an absolute firecracker of a woman! from the second she picked up the phone, her attitude and enthusiasm immediately made me feel at ease and excited. she created an unbelievably welcoming environment, even bought me some starbucks lol. she gave excellent, honest advice to some first timers who were there at the same time. some places clearly care more about the sale than the client, but i could not have felt more at home thanks to Toni. i was having such a nice time just chatting with her i was completely distracted from the pain (which was minimal with Adam anyways). I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to tattoos and i would absolutely recommend small mountain, and will be returning my next visit to foco if only to stop in and say hi to Toni. come prepared to spend, but the quality and care speaks for itself. 10/10

I have plenty of tattoos. This was the first one on my left calve. Was suppose to represent my company logo. The girl that answers the phone was very nice and welcoming. But I don’t think this is a 5 star tattoo shop. This is the only tattoo I’ve gotten, I have dozens, that has healed like this. Not to mention, I have my entire right calve done and it never hurt one bit. Just this little diamond felt like he was digging through my leg. I went and saw my boy when I got back into Houston and he even said it would scar. Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend unless maybe they only use that guy for walk ins. No idea. All I know is that’s it’s been three weeks and even with lotion there’s still a scab all the way over it.

Got my first tattoo with Fritz when I was in Colorado. During the consultation, he was really kind and honest and made me feel comfortable. He designed out exactly what I wanted. He was very professional and kind during the session, putting all my nerves at ease. The line work of my tattoo is awesome and he was very steady! Couldn’t say better things about him or the establishment. Definitely would go back.

Fritz Schroeder is easily the most versatile, precise, and spot on artist I’ve had! On my tattoo it was perfect, clean shading and lines, their shop was immaculate, and his practices very respectable. Would highly recommend!!

Needless to say, after discovering Small Mountain Tattoo last night, my brother and I decided that this is the only tattoo shop we will ever be going back to for future ink. I am so surprised they dont have a two-year wait list. seriously! But I can see it heading in that direction quickly, so I would recommend hopping on board now. Spotlessly Clean. Absolutely fabulous experience start to finish. My daughters and I did similarly-themed tattoos with Jordan and everything was perfect. It is now 6 weeks later, and we all have gorgeous tattoos that healed beautifully under his expert advice. Love, love, love them! Drew is awesome! I came in for a shoulder piece about a month ago. I was very nervous because I have a previous tattoo on my chest and I wanted it to all look like one cohesive piece. What he drew up for me was gorgeous, he had no issues working with what I already had. The tattoo healed with no problems and the colors were very bright and beautiful. He was very light handed, professional and sanitary. I will definitely be going back when I want more and highly recommend him if you want a fabulous piece of art!

I have been all around town today talking with different shops about my tattoo. Small Mountain Tattoo has by far been the best experience for me and im only in the beginning steps. Cory was so awesome and energetic during our consultation and he was even doing a tattoo! He offered to draw me up something without asking for a ridiculous deposit! The first thing i noticed when i walked in was that the shop was very clean and well put together. next thing i noticed was the gallery style set up. The art on the walls were made by the artist them selfs so i could tell they loved what they did and took pride in there work. The location is also great and really easy to find. I defiantly recommend coming tot his shop.
