They have really poor service and the broadband is inconsistent in downtown Loveland. It took me forever to be able to log in and do a review. I might be better with dial up service from 1990.

Jennifer was fantastic in the customer service department wow what a great attitude! David came out the next to install while he was out here it became obvious that he knew what he was talking about and was highly educated in the technical aspect of line of sight internet. Have nothing but good things to say about FRII

I’m not surprised FRII can’t find my account. LOL! When I left, It was comical bc the rep said the person who handled my account wasn’t working that day, I would be required to call back. LOL!

The service, when working, is adequate. However it goes through multiple outages from hours up to a day at a time each month with very little explanation as to why.Since we have all come to rely on using the Internet during the pandemic to work from home, availability and stability are necessary in a provider. You won’t find it here. If you need the Internet for more than Netflix, you should look elsewhere. As it is, I have had to drive to my place of work (60miles round trip) on weekends to use the Internet, a service which I am paying for, but not receiving at home. The tech staff is friendly, but probably due to the amount of experience they have with frustrated customers. Unfortunately, the answers provided by staff are usually that it is not FRII’s fault but another company which they rely upon for running their system. My apartment complex does not give me a choice in provider, that is the only reason I am still a customer.

My internet has been on and off for 5 days! I called to get an update and was informed I would be “kept in the loop”.. haven’t heard anything, and internet is not functioning properly. I have a feeling they didn’t do anything over the weekend to fix it, as there was no change, and they don’t understand people work from home! Worst internet provider.

They dont stand behind their customers and dont honor original contracts. They add overage fees when the contract said unlimited and expect you to pay them. But not to mention when I called to cancel after being with them for 10 years they didnt and still are trying to charge us for a service that was supposed to be disconnected a month ago. I advise everyone thinking about this company to be aware. And never agree to anything. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Employees are nice. But frustrating when the internet stops working minimum once a day with 10-40minutes of wait time until it reconnects. With stay-at-home order, some days I would have up to 10 internet disconnection/outage over the span of 12 hours and some days just 1-2 outages.Since you ask, I live in one of the apartment complexes you provide your service to. One of the old town/mason st complexes. I’m sure you’re very aware of the past issues there. The most frustrating thing was not being able to change my provider. Seems like you guys have been responding “we don’t see your nam under our service etc etc” to other comments as well. I’m assuming they’re (or were) at similar situation as me.

As with many of the reviews I can only speak for my own experiences with FRII and the quality of service provided. On multiple occasions the internet has gone out for more than 12 hours to which their response was oh Im sorry can you not check your emails? Condescendingly I might add. To which I must respond, no.... I cannot, check my email nor anything else my employment requires for that matter, as the internet is down. The only beacon of light in this dark wifi-less void was Jennifer with their technical support team. Though she could not give an estimate of time when the internet would be back nor could she say more than they are working on it, she had to have answered 100s of calls at least, regarding this issue and still managed to keep a smile through the whole conversation. Personally Im glad to be moving away from using their services since they dont seem to be able to fix anything same day if not same week. Its a shame really, they used to be so much better 3+ years ago.

Half the time the service doesnt even work. And they still charge you when they have consecutive days of 12 hour outages. And look at their webpage, I know beginner web design students that can make a more user friendly page.

Yikes. Looking at past reviews, it looks like FRII may have had a rough patch. They have either changed how they do business as an ISP or I havent experienced any of the stuff others have talked about. Our household was on (insert crappy DSL service provider here) with very poor internet connectivity. We thought we were stuck with piss poor service from the DSL competitor, but thankfully we found FRII had their WiFRII option. We also tried the wireless competitor in the area, and its service was also pretty poor. The wireless competitors connection was laggy, slow, and often dropped signal. We signed up for FRII to give them a go. The connection has been the smoothest internet we have ever had since moving to Colorado. My wife and I are gamers, I also have a home server that depends on having a stable internet connection. FRII has provided a rock solid performing connection for us. We used to run speed tests all the time on competitor connections because the poor connection was always on the front of our minds. I cant remember the last time I ran a speed test with WiFRII because it has always been stable and solid so I dont even think about it anymore. It has gone down a few times, once when I accidentally unplugged the dish power. Our experience during outages have been a phone call or email from FRII letting us know that the connection went down. Yep, THEY CALLED US when the connection went down. Who does that anymore? ITS GREAT!Their technician, Eric, has come out and provided additional dish options and mounts when the wind was so strong it ended up bending the mount a few years back. We are on the fringe area of reception, so I dont think we can upgrade the speed any higher, otherwise I would.Edit: I noticed some reviews were recent. I can only speak on my experience using their ISP services, WiFRII.

Had a business colocating at frii and we went out of business... talked to everyone at frii and worked out a cancellation to not be charged anymore. But almost 1 year later Im getting calls from a debt collector saying I owe them 12 thousand dollars.... please heed this warning and never use this service, they dont seem to care about their customers...

So sorry to see this ISP slip away like it has. Ive been a customer since 1999, and Im leaving. Went through a horrible server update in June, and now get so much spam in my various e-mails that I cant tolerate the workload anymore. Its a shame. They were top-notch until two months ago. They were one of the last, great independent ISPs. Cant recommend them to anyone. What a shame.

Do NOT sign a contract with this internet service provider until they change their end of service terms. We had been clients since 2008 - seven years!. We notified them in April of our intent to end service and removed our servers from their site in May. They continued to charge us an additional three months because their agreement renews itself on an annual basis for an additional 12 months! Who does that? We all accept a one or two year contract, and then expect it to go month to month, not an additional year. We were not provided services, therefore should not have incurred further costs, yet they continued to charge our credit card using different merchant accounts! BEWARE!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH FRII!!!
