My wife says this is the best thing I have ever done for myself.I was referred to StraightLine Fitness Studio by my acupuncturist. I had seen her for recurring back issues. She suggested there might be something structural going on. I had three weeks of Rossiter therapy and then started Functional Fitness. I have worked with all of the Personal Trainers now and they are all great. Functional Fitness is a great way to build the kind of strength that prevents injury.
Ive visited the StraightLine Fitness Studio on numerous occasions and the Rossiter treatments I received are no less than magical for an ailing body. Issues with my traps that couldnt be touched by massage and chiropractic treatments melted away after only a couple visits. In addition to the treatments, the education provided by Shelley and Keith gave me the confidence that I was in the hands of true professionals who are passionate about what they do as well as the tools to really step up my self-care regimen. The team at StraightLine is awesome! Ive been a rossiter client for about 3 years and fitness for the past year. As someone fairly active but struggling with back and shoulder pain, Kaitlyn was able to identify the weak muscles and imbalances that were contributing to these issues. She has worked very hard to customize a routine and adjust as Ive progressed. The combination of fitness and rossiter has allowed me to stay active and really elevate my training in other areas.
When I first started at Straightline, Kaitlyn helped me move through an old injury with a combination of Rossiter and functional fitness. Now I practice functional fitness to give me a strong foundation for whatever else I choose to do! I have tried MANY types of exercise, but I think functional fitness will be my forever exercise.
Amanda is an amazing Rossiter Coach! She knows exactly how to reduce pain and store balance in the body. Her approach is kind, safe and welcoming for all people. I highly recommend booking a session with Amanda if you have chronic pain, acute pain or simply want to have the healthiest most vibrant body possible!
RESULTS!!! this is the most supportive, results-oriented fitness environment I have ever been in. I had no idea how my body was fighting against itself. Not only do I feel and look the way that I was hoping, I came away with incredible knowledge about how my body works. I cannot say enough good things about Shelly . She is an incredible woman to know and to train with.
Im new to the Rossiter System and have had 3 sessions; once with Kaitlyn, once with Keith, and once with Shelly. I was experiencing tremendous discomfort in my hip/low back and stiffness/pain in my neck. After my first visit I was finally able to enjoy a night of deep, restorative sleep. With each subsequent visit my pain level improved. This was critical for me as I was facing a very long car ride trip. Im grateful to all three of these talented practitioners and looking forward to continuing to work together. Im hopeful we can improve the shape Im in and give me the tools I need to reduce/eliminate episodes of excruciating pain.
Straightline is top notch! When I moved to Fort Collins I really wanted find a trainer who was familiar with a functional fitness approach. I found that Keith and Shelly met my needs perfectly. I met with Keith for individualized coaching sessions. I was impressed with the amount of work we could accomplish in a 30 minute session. I highly recommend this studio.
Well, I am amazed at how much better my foot feels after 6 Rossiter sessions and 1 one-on-one rolling session! I had been suffering from autoimmune pain in one foot for 3 months that made walking often painful. I am not completely fixed yet, but feel good enough to try some hiking again, and will continue with further sessions and doing my homework.
I have arthritis in my hips that sometimes makes walking painful. I have had Rossiter sessions with both Keith and Amanda, and they both have given me stretches to do on my own. After about 5 Rossiter sessions with Keith and Amanda I dont have any pain when walking, even when walking fast. I am very pleased.
I have seen Shelly several times now and feel that Rossiter stretching is a form of healing that really helps. I have tried many different modalities since a major illness that is a life long thing left me in pain and disabled. This is a health care treatment that actually works. Shelley clearly knows what she is doing and really wants to help people get out of pain. Is this a miracle? Almost!!!
I started going to Straightline for Rossiter stretching which has done wonders for my now 71 year old body. But the real long term benefits come from the functional fitness training I’ve been participating in for several years. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. My 3 large dogs are thrilled that I have the strength, balance and energy to take them for long walks.
Keith is my favorite trainer to go to and refer patients to (Im a chiropractor). His level of knowledge and ability to tailor to the needs of any fitness level are excellent. Truly cares and helps you meet your goals.
I was suffering from chronic low back pain and decided to try this weird sounding treatment--rossiter. I have experienced relief on several different levels, beginning with the very first session. While the treatment itself can be...challenging... the results are fantastic and Shelly has been wonderful to work with. I look forward to continuing my healing journey!
I get pretty beat up training jiu jitsu and have tried many stretching techniques to loosen up my tight hips and shoulders. Nothing has been more effective than Rossiter with Amanda. I strongly recommend it to anyone dealing with chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Its been nearly 7 years since I started working with Keith and Shelly. My body was in pain and I just overall felt lousy. The change in my health from the day I walked in to today is profound.I began receiving Rossiter to help alleviate some serious hip issues I had for many years. The relief was great! Rossiter continues to help me positively manage the common aches and pains due to 30 years at a desk job and counting. Im sure many of you can relate! The addition of foam rolling and Yamuna is like the icing on the cake for keeping my body pain free! And the great part is you can do so much of it at home with the amazing training they provide.Most of all, I love the small family feel of the studio. Keith and Shelly, and their entire staff, are amazing people who genuinely care about their clients, and they inspire and uplift everyone who walks in their door.I began training with Keith about six months after I started Rossiter and he has made it easy to set attainable goals and develop positive habits for myself. I started taking baby steps to better health and it worked! Today, I rarely miss my workouts, I feel strong and I am nearly 20 pounds lighter. And the workouts are only 30 minutes!I could go on, but If you want to make lasting changes in your health, you seriously need to come in and see Keith and Shelly. Just saying.... :)
I can not give a stronger recommendation for the trainers at Straightline Fitness! I started out going there for Rossiter in hopes of relieving back pain. The relief that I was able to obtain was incredible but Shelly recommended some fitness sessions to strengthen my core since I was continuing to have issues with my back. I have mainly worked with Shelly--both for Rossiter and fitness and she excels in both and has been a huge help! Worked with Keith once for fitness and was impressed with his reading of my body and helping me in correcting my form. Have also had Kaitlyn help me with both Rossiter and fitness and again her skills and knowledge were first rate. Went to Amanda for Rossiter a number of times as well and was impressed with the knowledge and relief from pain I received from her as well. In short, the staff as Straightline is a very good crew of people who have worked to get me pain free and stronger.
Keith and Shelly are masters at what they do. I trained with Keith for 1 month and I learned so much about functional fitness. He challenged my body and mind, but made sure I felt confident with each step. My family member has made amazing progress doing Rossiter with Shelly. If you dont know what that is, ask them for a demonstration. You will not be disappointed!
I started working with Keith because I wanted to head off the typical physical deterioration that can happen as we age. Keiths program is perfect because it incorporates mobility, flexibility and strength into each workout. Keith is very skilled at tailoring the sessions to zero in on individual problems each person may have and strengthen any weak areas in the body. Keith is a great coach--encouraging and challenging without pushing you too hard. Plus, the neck pain that has plagued me for years has disappeared! I highly recommend Straightline Fitness!
The Yamuna body rolling is the best thing Ive ever done to relieve tight and sore muscles, as well as back pain. Shelly and Kaitlyn are both excellent instructors that guide you through the process. Cant recommend this more highly
I have been going to Straightline for 2 and 1/2 years and have never felt healthier. I use to have lower back problems but now that I have been getting training I rarely have a problem. The atmosphere is great and the specialized workouts help focus on individual needs . The personnel are helpful and truly care about your fitness/health.
I went in yesterday and was checked out by my chiro to see what damage was done from my car accident on Tuesday. My body is sore all over and my chiro said that whip-lash is the diagnosis. My neck/shoulders, mid/lower back, and left knee is in pain. Good news so far is that my back hasnt flared up like it usually would of if I hadnt been working with you to get my back strengthened! :) I firmly believe all of the work that you have been helping me with since July has helped my body cope with this accident so much better as compared to the past. A comparison for you: I was in an accident in 2003 and my back flared up badly, I missed several days of work, and I had many months of physical therapy until I was back to normal. Right now I am functional for the most part, but of course I need to take caution to what I do not to hurt myself anymore.I had to share this info. with you, because I know if I hadnt been working with you I would of ended up being like I was back in 2003--no fun! A BIG THANK YOU!!! You are my Super Shelly!!! :) I am so-so blessed to have you helping me with my back/neck/shoulders!!! :)
I love working with the staff at Straighline. They are all very kind, knowledgable, and professional. I highly recommend the Rossiter sessions followed by the fitness portion of the studio.

I have been seeing Keith at Straightline Fitness for about a year now. I originally went in for some back pain and worked with Keith on the Rossiter side for awhile. Once I got moving better, we started looking at some of the strength training and fitness aspects. I originally wasnt that excited about doing that because I belong to a gym (even though I dont utilize it for strength training) and any time I have ever got a trainer in front of me, they try to give me the same workout they give themselves. Overload the pace and ratchet up the intensity to a level that makes me believe they are just trying to be a hard core fitness instructor. Keith started me at the right level and pace for me. I was getting a great workout, it was just so different from what I had ever experienced. THAT is a true professional. Over the next few months, I saw my strength and stability grow quickly. I was actually liking to work out and I felt they were truly excited for me to be in better health. Keith and Shelly go to great lengths to make Straightline Fitness feel like a healthy place. They offer Foam Rolling courses and other things I have never heard of like Yamuna Body Rolling. They bring in other instructors and business owners without jealousy to teach what they arent specialists in. All of this has empowered me to realize that I am capable of being in great health without having to be hardcore. If I ever want to be hardcore, I am sure Keith can show me that stuff too. The bottom line is that these are exactly the type of small business that our community needs to support because by supporting them, you are making your life better. Thank you Shelly and Keith!
I love StraightLine! Its a smaller, studio-format gym, but its impeccably clean and has everything I need.Keith also gave me a free personal training session and workout plan as part of my membership. I feel like he really cares about me and my health goals—I can email or talk to him anytime if I need a new exercise or have a concern.I also love the emphasis on using your body weight and small tools (like kettlebells and sandbells) rather than tons of machines. I get a much better (and quicker!) workout than ever before. Its amazing, and Keith really, really knows his stuff. Plus, hes also an expert at rossiter!
