We had Billy come to our Airbnb to cook a dinner for our party of 7. Although we were booking fairly late Billy was very responsive and decided on the menu quickly. We gave him some rough guidelines for the meal and he knocked it out of the park! The dishes were super tasty, unique (but not too out there) and localized to the location (which we asked for). Fantastic meal which included a variety of local flavours and dishes that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Billy took care of everything for us and it was a very easy experience.

An incredible 5 days camping, hiking and enjoying the company of wonderful people in the Utah desert. The C&C team is amazing – hard to describe them and the experience in any other way. If it isnt enough to be surrounded by a beautiful desert landscape, multi-colored mountains, clean air, sunsets that change the hot dry air into cool evenings and moon rises that will make you believe you are on another planet – well than you have C&C, a five star (and I am not over rating this in any way) culinary and service experience in the middle of the desert miles and miles away from civilization.Mini yurts that are made up like hotel rooms with carpets, cots, beautifully soft down and wool bed coverings. Every day when we came back from our hikes our yurts we cleaned, beds made and looked like we were entering them for the first time. Little sparkling LEDs spread around the tent to add to the ambiance. I can tell you, after the long days hiking, the hot showers and the amazing meals ... I slept like a baby!Hot showers! Yes, hot showers in the middle of the desert. Enough said.Five star meals at every sitting! If there is one criticism it would be they need to add more exercise to work off those amazing meals :) When we would come back from our hikes the crew wold already be in the process of preparing our dinners. After hot showers and a nice cocktail or glass of wine around the camp fire we would be called to the dining tent. Yes, they have a dining tent! The meals were broken up into four courses and paired with amazing wines. Billy is a professional chef, trained at some of the best restaurants our country has to offer. You will not be disappointed.Lastly, and arguably most importantly, are the crew. Billy brought an amazing team of people to make our experience so wonderful. They worked almost constantly preparing meals, getting gear ready, refilling water supplies, etc and when they had a break they sat down and enjoyed talking with us and sharing their experiences on these adventures.I hope you, whoever you are, have the opportunity to experience one of these adventures with Billy and his team. You will not regret it.

Chef Billy and his partner Erin were fantastic for our one day experience at the Grand Canyon. Billy planned a nice bike tour for our family of 4 and was very knowledgeable about everything. We also did a short hike down the south Rim. He planned a delicious lunch as well. In the evening he planned a delicious dinner in a pop up tent in the forest. Amazing setting and overall a very memorable experience. In addition, Billy was kind enough to mail a necklace my daughter had left out there to our home. Thanks for everything!

As a consumate professional and expert in the Northern Arizona area, Billy prepared outstanding courses that took every nook and cranny of his knowlege and poured it into each lucious and impeccable bite. Just to give you an idea.... this guy serves his meals with salt that he harvested HIMSELF from a VOLCANO in iceland! Beyond knowledge is the personable nature he brings to the event. Chef billy served us exotic dishes like caviar on a cream puff, baked oysters with andouille sausage, custom paloma bar and manhattans delicately shaved “foie gras” ... but wait... there was more! Including seabass cerviche with apples! His skills as a chef suprised and delighted us all weekend.... but he also got know each one of us during the event. Dont hesitate! Hire Canyons and Chefs for the experience of a lifetime with someone who will also become a close friend! HIGHLY recommended!

We hired Billy with Canyon and Chefs to cater our elopement wedding reception dinner in Oak Canyon. We had rented an Airbnb cabin for the weekend and Billy prepared a special dinner for us (11 people). Hiring Canyon and Chefs allowed us to relax and enjoy our family time together without having to worry ourselves about the food. From our first conversation with Billy he was very friendly and personable. He allowed us to create our own menus based off our own food preferences along with accommodating food allergies. When Billy told us he can cook anything we wanted, he meant it but needed some help and guidance with this process and Billy was gracious enough to show us other menus he prepared to give us an outline of how the menu would work. Billy helped us plan the menu, shopped for the food, prepared the meal, served and cleaned up before he and his assistant departed. They were very professional and the food was so delicious!! We especially appreciated when Billy would describe the meal and how each course was prepared or where the ingredients came from. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend or hire Billy and his team again! Thank you Billy for helping to make our initiate wedding a memorable experience!

Billy created an AMAZING experience for our familys Sedona vacation!! Everything from working with me to pre-plan dinners that our entire family would enjoy (including 2 teens), to leaving us little extras to snack on after he left. Each dinner he made at the house was an exquisite dining experience. It was truly 5 star chef quality even though he was just making it for a single family. Each course had beautiful presentation and the taste was out of this world. Plus it was all cleaned up afterwards! Billy and his team also did a day hike with our family. We went to a beautiful location and he even adjusted the difficulty based on our various capabilities and comfort levels. Then he cooked the most delicious pork belly Ive ever had on the side of a canyon! It was an incredible experience and one of the true highlights of the trip that we continue to talk to our friends about since coming home. I would HIGHLY recommend Billy and his team for both your hiking and private chef experiences. We cant wait to go back and will definitely be looking forward to including Chef Billy and his team on our future trips!

Friendly chef with a good menu but unfortunately the food was average. Came highly recommended so maybe it was just an off-night but our group was generally unimpressed. The ceviche was so chewy you couldn’t swallow it and there was a last minute switch from a whole red snapper to local trout which was fishy and undercooked. Would’ve preferred steak if we weren’t going to get the fish we expected.

Chef Billy is a pro! He created a personalized menu based on our suggestions and really hit it out of the park. His mole is AMAZING! We were so happy to have leftovers! His knowledge of Southwest flavors and ingredients are impressive. Would love to have him cater our next event!

Utilized Canyons and Chefs for an incredible luxury backpacking trek into the Grand Canyon along the Escalante route for my sisters 40th birthday. Guides provided top notch service from geological knowledge to delicious gourmet meals! Cant wait to book them again for another unforgettable backcountry adventure.

Hiring Billy for my wifes 30th birthday retreat was probably the best decision I made for the trip. We were a group of 10 and we used Canyons and Chefs private chef services for 6 meals over 4 days. Chef Billy Woods was always on time, flexible when we werent on time as a group, polite, conversational, funny, and just an all-around great addition to the trip. More importantly, the food was phenomenal. Many of us said this is the best ______ Ive ever had multiple times. Whether it was the pork belly lo mein, scallop gnocchi, any of his home-made ice creams, Chefs omelette madness, or the burger sliders and mac & cheese we had upon arrival, it was definitely some of the best food Ive ever had. You cant beat Billys quality, price point, or the convenience of hiring a private chef for large group gatherings. Id recommend him to anyone I know and we hope to travel back to the Flagstaff, AZ area to see him again sometime soon.

Billy created a wonderful celebratory dinner for our family. The menu he suggested was perfect for everyones taste preferences. Perfectly prepared. Different courses well timed. And a special birthday candle on a delicious chocolate lava cake.Made the evening intimate and memorable.
