Jessica Webb was so efficient and helpful. She was so kind to help by me with my application and payment. Sh was very good about getting me the information that I needed. She is a real asset to your company.
I loved living at Wellington Place! Great staff and wonderful neighbors. I lived on both the apartment side and the townhouse side and both were great! The area is well kept and maintenance is prompt to take care of urgent needs. I would recommend this apartment community in Fishers and would totally live there again if I moved back to Indiana!
We are new resident here at Wellington place and I have personally never had a better experience with an apartment complexes’ management. Danielle is BY FAR one of the most enthusiastic, caring, and genuine personnel this company has to offer! She was a major part of the reason we chose this location! She answered all of our questions quickly, helped us make sure everything was set up, and made us feel very welcomed! Thanks Danielle!
Danielle Cox served my family and I with kindness, patience and with a great attitude!! Ask for her! Reminded me of southern hospitality! ;)
The tour and staff was so Excellent! She answered all our questions Danielle is very knowledgeable and prfessional. The apartment was beautiful and spacious! Left feeling Excited due to Daniellss enthusiasm!
My favorite place to stay! The location is just perfect! There maintenance is so amazing there. The only reason we moved was because they didnt have a dog park. Other than that the office staff is very nice as well. We miss you guys. Thanks for all that you do!!!!!!
Jessica was AMAZING!!!!! I felt like I was talking to someone who cared and wanted me to find what I’m looking for!!! I honestly can’t say enough good things except - go talk to Jessica!!!
Worse place to liveThey rude in the office and put notices all the timeYou can breath on your own placeThey also put me on a place that was no fix for me to move and now that I leaving the charging me for everything
Thank you Danielle! Excellent!
I have now been at Wellington for 5 months. I always wait to do an apartment review. The biggest reason I decided to move here is because it felt comfortable and the office employees are the best! I have no complaints what’s so ever. I currently have a 1 bed 1 bath with an extra office area. Very big apartment nice size ceiling and updated appliances. I have had no issues getting in touch with the people at the office if needed. I get all my packages, Amazon coulddo better and just leave the packages at the locker room. The grounds are kept up twice a week and I have a beautiful view! I also always get my parking spot lol, not a lot of visitors. Love it here, close to the highway and all major stores!
Ive lived here for over a year and let me tell you I love this place. Before I moved here I was in correspondence with the main office for three months trying to coordinate everything prior to moving back from overseas. They were more than helpful and accommodating. Every time I requested something they were willing to assist.Work orders are done very quickly, any assistance I may need with my apartment they are willing. The place is kept clean which is very important and when it snows they do a great job maintaining the property. The maintenance team is on top of it!More importantly, the staff that works are super sweet! Very professional, they always have time for a chat, and personable.Due to my job, I move a lot and have lived in many apartment complexes across the states. By far this is the best experience Ive ever had with living and staff.
Nice people, nice property
We have lived at Wellington Place for 3 months and absolutely love it. The office and maintanence staff are great. The apartments are spacious, bright and sunny, and quiet. The grounds are well maintained. My only concern is that I requested to have the overgrown bushes in front of my patio cut back. They were partially cut back, very uneven and with a lot of dead shrubbery showing. Very unsightly to say the least. Regardless, I would recommend Wellington Place to anyone looking for an apartment home as it really does feel like home here.
You will likely move out with some sort of balance owed, since their carpet contractor seems to tell them every carpet has heavy wear and tear. Also they will raise the rent on you every year, not even in a subtle way, just an egregious additional $50 per year, due to the market. In spite of that, Wellington Place is a fine place to live. Just expect to spend a lot of money.
I have currently lived here for a little over 3 years and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I also lived here when I was younger (probably 14 years ago or so) and they were nice then, but they are even nicer now with the upgrades they have done to the complex.I looked around at a few other apts before deciding on Wellington Place and they honestly didnt compare. It was actually a very easy decision. Great location, close to any store you can think of and easy access to I-69. I like how the apt complex is laid out (doesnt seem cramped when youre driving through like some complexes) and how the complex is always clean and well maintained. My apt itself is very nice, spacious and everything works as it should with no issues. Big fan of the 9 foot ceilings since Im 62. I always feel safe in the complex and in my apt. The maintenance guys are awesome and get things done in a very timely manner and the front office girls are a blast to talk to and hang out with. I like how personable they are and that they know me by name and dont treat me like Im just another person. Big shout out to Candice, Caty and last but not least Danielle! :) Ill definitely be renewing my lease for another year when time comes. Keep rocking it guys!
Great apartments, you can turn the fan on in the bathroom without having the light on which is an absolute game changer. My only problem is that today they had a cookout, served great hot dogs on my buddy’s grill, but no beers. Pretty disappointing as I’ve never been to a cookout with no beer. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.
I have been here for 2 years and the experience has been amazing. The office staff all know me by name and are always kind and courteous. Maintenance is quick and efficient. I love the fact that the office will text me when I have packages waiting which is going above and beyond. The grounds are well kept and if there are any issues they will tend to them quickly. The halls in the apartment are clean and smell amazing. My time here has been great and the people make it even better.
The grounds are mature and well cared for. Apartment are large, spacious and bright. I lived there for 5 years then was moved to AZ. When I returned to Indy, I moved back to Wellington place. The staff are the absolute best, they bend over backwards for you and are friendly and cautious. This is the place you want to live!!!
I love Wellington Place and I absolutely love living here. I have not had one bad experience living here and I have lived here going on 15 months. I feel so safe and it’s very quiet here! The hallways smell amazing and they are also locked. The office staff is amazing they know me and my dog by our first names. Plus they have fresh cookies every day what’s not to love about that!! Danielle, Candice and Caty are the best and I feel like they all go over and beyond for me any time I need anything! They text me when I have packages or if i need to update something and I’m a very busy person so I appreciate it. The maintenance men are great too and show up very quick and do a great job! I could go on and on about how amazing this place is truly! So if your looking for a great place to live this is your place!!
The staff at Wellington are AMAZING! They address issues immediately, if any at all. Casey is a part of the maintenance team and always goes the extra mile to make sure things are fixed correctly, efficiently and never leaves a mess. I have resided here almost 4 years and will miss everyone and all of the fun activities!
I lived here year ago and loved their front office, Maintenance was very quick in response to all problems that I had. They definitely communicate well.
I lived here for almost five years and can honestly say I came and left with zero complaints or grievances. What has been mentioned by other reviews regarding the grounds is absolutely true. They are maintained so well and absolutely beautiful, I can honestly say I was unable to find a comparison when I did move from the area. Maintenance was always very prompt, often coming the next day to make and needed adjustments or repairs. The office staff were never anything but helpful, kind, and friendly a single time I went in. The pool was always clean as well as the area around the pool. I 100% would recommend this property to those considering moving in.
Its a shame we did not find this place sooner!! We have now lived at Wellington place for about about a year and a half and we really like it here. The staff is one of the best around the whole city. They are friendly, funny and most of all real down to earth. The community is great. Neighbors are friendly and quite which i like. If you are looking for a great place with multiple floor plans and townhouse options with a nice workout area and business center this is the place for you!P.S. They have fresh cookies daily.
Ive lived in several different apartments over the last decade, and this is one of the better ones Ive run across, hence the 5 stars. Had good luck here. Its in a good location, close to grocery stores, etc, super easy access to I-69.I see kids playing in the yard or on their bikes in the parking lot in the afternoon, and parents and kids waiting for the bus in the mornings, and older married couples walking around in the evenings, so its pretty safe place imo. The office staff is pretty cool, and are easy to get along with. Havent had any significant maintenance issues (knock on wood), which is amazing. Maintenance does come in a couple times a year, preventative work. Probably helps. In winter the maintenance staff is good about getting all the roads and parking lots cleaned up and salted. Apartment complex is kept pretty clean overall. Renewed my lease recently, so hopefully things continue to go well.
We used to love this Apartment Complex a lot because of the staff but now its terrible! Maintenance issues will take DAYS before they will actually pay attention to it! You never KNOW when they will plan to come and fix the issue! A job that should only take 5-10 minutes they CANNOT even fix! Its very unacceptable! They expect tenants to pay on time but they dont fix what needs to be fix on time!!!! Stay away from this place!!!! Find you a better place!!!
Honestly, the best staff, both office and maintenance. They provide such an effective, warm, and personalized level of service, making it a wonderful place to live. Also, the pet policy is probably the best of any neighborhood in Fishers. And the staff truly does love dogs! They know mine by name—Kermit loves them too!
I have absolutely LOVED living at Wellington Place. Before I even moved in, the office staff was PHENOMENAL! They kept me well informed of fees that I would be charged, when I needed to come in to sign things, and the procedures for moving in/contacting maintenance/etc. Since I have lived there (moved in Dec. 2017), I have not had a single issue. Maintenance has always resolved problems quickly, the leasing office has always been so nice in emails, phone calls, and when I stop in, and the property is well kept. They cleared snow right away, they filled potholes quickly and they have kept up with lawn care. The leasing office also hosts fun things often (usually once a month or every other month). You can tell that the office staff at Wellington Place really cares for their tenants. I also love the apartment itself. It is a great size for me and the layout is perfect. I looked at a lot of apartments in the Fishers/Carmel area, and from the moment I stepped into the leasing office for a tour of the apartment until now, I know that I made the right decision picking Wellington Place!
The maintenance staff is on top of every work order. Always happy never have a issueThe office staff is amazing there not one thing negative
We lived here for 5 years, in a few different units (upgraded due to needing more room or wanting to be on the second floor), and it was always amazing! Maintenance was always quick and super helpful, even the one time I had to call at 3 am. EVERYONE in the office was always welcoming, warm, and willing to answer any questions we might have had. The community was quiet and peaceful - it was almost like driving into a different world once you turned in. The only reason we left was because my family outgrew what they offered. Every time I find out someone is looking for an apartment in the area I recommend Wellington Place, and I will continue to recommend Wellington Place for a long time to come. If youre looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to live with good amenities and a staff that will take care of all of your needs, this is the place to look!
Never have any troubles with neighbors or staff members. Maintenance is great and always come in a timely manner. This is my second time living here, and I only left the first time because my roommate wanted to move closer to his girlfriend. We ended up moving back, because we missed Wellington.
Wellington Place has been amazing and they have the best staff and customer service I have ever experienced with apartments. We were moving from out of state and Caty as well as Candice went over and beyond with helping to make our move and transition as easy for us as possible. When we arrived we were warmly greeted with a bag filled with things welcoming us to the area and when we walked into our new home we had a welcome card signed from all of the staff. The apartment was very clean and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Wellington to anyone in search of a new home!
I lived at Wellington Place for three years and never had any issues with neighbors or staff. In the three years living there, I had to call maintenance twice to fix an issue, and both times they were there in a very timely fashion. Staff is super friendly and easy to work with! Best overall renting experience by far.
Great apartment complex, horrible staff/employees. Me and my mom were homeless and her job offered to pay the first months rent at Wellington so we could start fresh. We got the apartment, and my moms job didnt go through with the hardship loan like they had promised. We had the money to make up for the check, but instead of letting my mother explain that her (previous) job had lied to her, they gave her the rent money back and made us leave. We had to sleep in our truck for months. My mom has since left her old job and got one better, where the managers are nice and respectful, and dont lie. I wish we were able to sit down and talk with the staff at Wellington and fully explain what the problem was, Id be glad to change my review if so. Because the apartment complex itself is beautiful, I have friends who still live there that I spend time with often. And no imI not blaming the entire situation on you guys, her previous job is to blame for agreeing to give her a hardship loan. But my mom had made enough money within the small time we were at Wellington, that she herself couldve made up for the lie her job told her. But instead we had to leave
Apartments are pretty nice and maintainance requests are done in a timely manner. My main concern and reason for 3/5 stars is for the lack of communication that the leasing staff has. They NEVER respond to me. It’s next to impossible to go into the actual office if you work a full time job. They open after I am already at work and close before I arrive home. Therefore my main form of communication possible with them is calling and emailing. They have decided to just not respond to most of my emails, I have to follow up more than once. They also never answer the phone. I have called so many times in a row and get no answer. I understand that the leasing office staff have things they need to get done, but I don’t see why an email can’t be responded to within 24 hours. Also, we were told when we moved in a year ago, that one of the two tennis courts would be turned into a dog park, but that hasn’t happened. Will that be happening???
We found these apartments whilst trying to relocate from Australia. The level of communication from Danielle was excellent and we were so impressed we moved in, on the day of arrival in Indiana! Everything from inspecting apartments, moving in and our requests are met with personalised service and a huge smile. The quality and level of service we have received surpasses all of our expectations. The apartments are spacious, amenities include tennis, volleyball, pool, playground and open grounds which are all are well maintained. No request is too small and is met by prompt and efficient service from the office and maintenance teams. They work above and beyond to foster a community rather than just a place to live. Residents are treated like family here by the professional yet warm staff from office (Angie, Danielle, Melanie, Candice and Caty) and maintenance (thanks guys!) who help with everything from lifting furniture to attending to maintenance issues. I would highly recommend living here to anyone who wants to live in an amazing community where it is a joy to come home to every day.
When we first moved in, we absolutely loved it. The next year they tried to raise our rent 100$! Told us when we moved in, it was a move in special (we were never told about a move in special) we have had SEVERAL issues with ants and spiders. Our new carpet was starting to pull up, so they replaced that, and then again, it started pulling up. We have tried for 2 years to get this fixed. They just now finally said they would replace it. They have 2 pools and do NOT monitor the kids that come in. They are almost always under 16, unsupervised and rough house to where my children cant enjoy the pool. My kids have been knocked over, hit with a football (all in the pool) I have called and they never come out and do anything. They dont care. As much as we pay (almost 200 more than we moved in 4 years ago) it is no longer enjoyable. The maintenance however is always friendly and fixes what we need fixed. That is about the only perk. I would not recommend living here and I will not be renewing my lease!
Love the floor plans, the office staff is the most friendly I have ever encountered. They are so kind and courteous!! The fridge, freezer, and dishwasher are on the smaller side... but the apartments are quiet and clean and pet friendly! :) Overall a fantastic place to live!
I have lived here for almost a year and I really love it. Most places that you go to rent with go out of their way to gain your business and then after you sign, they dont care about you as a tenant. This team continues to treat me and support me the same now as they did the day I came in to sign my lease. Their attention to detail to ensure that the living environment is inviting, clean, and fun is very apparent. This staff love their jobs and treat their tenants excellent and I love living here! If you are single or whether you have a family and or a pet.... this place is for you. I love that I cant hear my neighbors and the walls are not thin. When you put in a service request, they are handled asap and done in a very friendly way. This team makes you feel like you are living in luxury style apartments at a reasonable and competitive cost. Did I mention how much I love living here?
Do not rent here, unless you want to be charged for carpet when you leave. We Lived here for 2 years and it was fine. Make sure you read item 39 in your lease contract before you leave. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU! Rent is pricey, you get what you pay for and they will take more when you leave. Nice people there at the office, crooked management though.
Wellington Place is a great place to live. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The rent is based on location in my opinion. I think it is over priced considering the amount of pets you have to tolerate. Some pet owners do not clean up after their pets. There is a total of five dogs in my building. Some of the pet owners do not follow leash laws and when you are taking a walk the dogs run up to you and bark. I have a dog in my building that barks all day and late at night . I recommend that the staff considers having buildings that dont allow pets for residents that do not care for pets. I do not own pets and should not have to tolerate them disturbing my peace all times of the day and night. It is 9:30 pm and as I am writing this review the dog in my building is continuously barking because the owner is gone over 12 hours a day 7 days a week.
When I came to Indiana 2nd time to study my MBA, my friend recommended Wellington Place as a nice place for live especially for a foreign students.I remember Danielle, she answered my emails to Wellington places and welcome us (my family and I) first time, and she work hardly with us to guid and advice us for everything, inside Wellington Place and outside! I believe she is truly being an asset the organization!I have been lived there 3 years, the stuff, epically Danielle, were more than friendly & helpful! I love the community, if I will back to Fishers or indianapolis again.. no way to choose another place!Wellington place and Danielle some of a lot that I can’t forget in Indiana and US.
My daughter and her family lived at Wellington Place Apartments for 4 years and were quite pleased with EVERYTHING: from the promptness and professionalism of the maintenance crew, to the helpful office staff, to the very nice apartment layout, to the beautiful grounds. They would probably still be there except for a job change. I would highly recommend this complex.Toni
The staff is awesome, especially Candice. The apartment quality is unbeatable for the price and in a great neighborhood. You can’t go wrong here.
Full disclosure: I copy/pasted the review I left on another website. This is the nicest apartment community I have lived in. My husband and I relocated to Fishers from the South Bend/Mishawaka area in August. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The office staff and maintenance staff are very friendly. There is ample parking. Great on-site amenities. The location is located close to all the things a person needs. This place is also extremely pet-friendly. There are dog-waste stations throughout the property. Maintenance issues are handled promptly. That is a first for us. Our previous complex up north took months to fix a roofing issue that was causing water to pour through the window frame in our living room. Here, we started having issues with the water heater. Maintenance was here within 48 hours of our request to assess the problem. Next day they put in a new water heater. The management likes to foster a sense of community as well. There is always something going on at the clubhouse. There are game nights, holiday events, pet photo contests, etc. There are only two complaints that I have. One is common for apartments and that is the poor quality windows. Thermal-backed curtains are a must. The second is one that other reviewers have also mentioned and that is the trash disposal situation. This is a fairly large complex. Instead of Dumpsters, they opted for trash compactors. There are only 2 of these. It is quite insufficient. It also makes getting rid of any larger items a bit more difficult as there is nowhere on-site to do so. The other issue with only having compactors is we cannot recycle. Overall, I highly recommend this complex. We are quite happy with our choice.Edit: The temperatures are creeping up. It got up to 79 in our apartment yesterday because the air conditioning is not working properly. We have been informed that they will not touch the air conditioning units until it is 80 degrees outside. So, our options are to roast in our own juices or setup fans in open windows (which we currently have done and it is 75 in here at 1pm) which allows all of those lovely spring allergens into our home. My husband and I both have seasonal allergies. While this is certainly a first-world problem, we pay way too much in rent to not be able to be comfortable in our home. It is for this reason I am downgrading their rating.
These apartments are old and run down. The roads are crumbling, the geese are a huge problem with goose feces everywhere and the mechanicals for things like the garages are just worn out. We rented for 2 years and had to have the garage door repaired 4 times. Now as we wait for out our lease, our garage door has been broken beyond repair for 4 weeks. With as much communication and negotiation with the office, you would hope for much better service. As for the apartments, the walls are paper thin...and we have neighbors above us where you can hear this woman as she changes location and room walking around above us. All of our drains are slow presently but it doesnt appear the landlord wants to do anything. The appliances are very dated and we have have had a stove that has burned out the same burner 3 times in 2 years. It seems you would consider this a fire hazard. Along those same lines, this apartment has 3 different light switches that are intermittent at best. These are high priced apartments and in a location where you expect better. I am sure all apartments have their down side. But as we are moving into a house, I would advise any potential renter to do a very meticulous walk through before signing on the bottom line.
My husband put in a maintenance request for a ceiling fan to be put up in our apartment. Casey was the person who helped us. He has helped us a couple other times as well. He is very courteous and came to help us very quickly after the request was put in. He does a great job and is always happy to help and in a good mood.
I have lived here for 3 years and have loved it! The staff is amazing, they are very nice and polite. The office has fresh cookies everyday and the grounds are well maintained. The maintenance staff is always prompt, professional, polite, and respectful. There are also plenty of amenties close by, to include groceries, gas, restaurants, a theater, medical/dental facilities, and easy acces to highway 69. I highly, highly recommend this place! 👍
I would like to start off by saying, I am happy that I chose Wellington Place Apartments.... myself and children. We are truly happy here. I have checked out many places before coming to Wellington Apts and some people seem rude, but when I came here, Katie,Danielle, Candace and Melodie were so professional. They answer all my questions. I knew Wellington was the right place for my family. I love the staff. They are amazing, kind and, generous. If maintenance is need they respond fast. the area is very nice!!I wouldnt ask for a better off personel . I recommend them to a lot of people. If youre looking for professionalism, spacious apartments, and a clean safe area, Wellington is the place. Please check them out. Youll be happy you Did!!!!:)
Visited a friends apartment and was so impressed with the facility, the staff, and how at home it felt. If i didnt live in TN, Id be here.
I was sent a bill 4 months after moving out for $949.00 dollars. The bill was for a “biosweep odor eliminator”, “kitchen cleaning in preparation for odor treatment”, and “carpet replacement”. I took over the lease for a family of a culture that cooks with curry. So the place did have a curry smell that I was able to mostly rid the place of using oils and cleaning. The apartments claimed it was so strong that they had to replace carpets and do these special cleanings thus charging me near 1000! The catch: that Family lived in another apartment at Wellington place for a year and switched apartments and were NEVER charged such things for the first apartment??? I will update as this is handled. I have lived in numerous apartments over my years traveling and have never ever come across something so ridiculous. I had my issues with ants; this awful rotten egg smell that they had to come repeatedly pour cleaner down a drain in the laundry room; and water bills that were sent to collection agencies without the apartment ever notifying me that i owed——-but always thought I’d leave a good review as the staff were amazing and wonderful band the community was nice overall. But this really is not ok. I have a lawyer looking into it. I would stay clear of this place unless you’d like to be screwed over.
Are experience getting started with Wellington has been nothing short of enjoyable. Candice made us feel welcomed, answered all of our questions and even loaded our 4 year old up with her favorite treats!
During winter, it is so hard to stay inside. The insulation in walls are so old/deteriorated that even with heater you will not stay warm inside, resulting in high electricity bills and poor health. Staff will be friendlier till the time you occupied the apartment. After that you will be stuck with a closing bill equivalent to your one month rent. They may provide you with some moving offers, which they will take back plus some additional amount, once you vacate your home.
I was sent a bill of $824.400 dollars with in 3 days of moving out. The bill was for a “biosweep odor eliminator”, “kitchen cleaning in preparation for odor treatment”, and “carpet replacement”.When asked about the proof of the Replacements and damages they Claimed that i have agreed on all the conditions in the lease documentation that i have signed before moving into the apartment.Be careful Guys ...I will upload the email conversations which they never replied back with the damage proofs.
STAY CLEAR!!!!!!Everyone please be aware and read the negative comments all previous tenants took time to write. Ironically they are all very similar in context (friendly staff when signing your life away via their lease), when a tenant moves out it is a GUARANTEE you WILL owe a balance in some fashion for something they feel needs money paid for. Obviously this property manager is concerned more about her “bonus” for money she collects rather than the tenant experience. You will LOSE money living here thru your deposit (which you will NEVER get back), outrageous monthly rent, and then an unbelievable balance due when you leave (based on uncontrollables like carpet for example). Normal wear and tear should factor in however not here. This stuff can’t be made up folks, there are way too many similar reviews and statements declaring the same facts.FIND A DIFFERENT COMMUNITY this one will be a mistake!!!!!
Outdated and poorly run property. Inside and out. Way overpriced for the relative competition in Fishers. Floor boards are loose and squeak loudly...units are not prepped well at all prior to move in. If you point something out that needs to be fixed before you move in...it takes months and months afterwards if at all to get done. Even after paint they still smell like cigarette smoke and dog P&S. Very old property and not willing to update or fix things that should be. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
The place isnt bad, nice pool and fitness center, and they come fix stuff when reported. Just stay away from 9003, The cannabis fumes that come out of that garage are enough to knock you over......
I HAVE LIVED AT BOTH PROPERTIES OWNED BY HILLS PROPERTY FOR AROUND 7 YEARS. THEIR STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY THE MAINT. STAFF FOR THE AMOUNT OF UNITS THEY HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF, THEY DO A PRETTY GOOD JOB. THEY KEEP THE PROPERTY LOOKING GREAT YEAR AROUND. THE ONLY ISSUES I THINK THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH LIGHTING THROUGH OUT THE PROPERTY. YOU SEE A LOT OF LIGHTS BUT THEY DO NOT PUT OUT ENOUGH LIGHT TO COVER A AREA. ITS HARD TO SEE DRIVING THRU THE COMPLEX AT NIGHT. ALSO THE APARTMENTS ARE A PRETTY OUT DATED BUT ARE VERY CLEAN WHEN YOU MOVE IN. AND AS FOR SECURITY IS VERY SAFE. I SEE SENIORS HERE WHICH I AM ONE OF THEM AND THEY ALL FEEL SAFE. VISITORS HAVE TO BUZZ YOUR APT. TO GET IN. I FORGOT ONE MORE THING THE ROADS ARE IN NEED OF A LOT OF REPAVING
I have lived at this complex for nearly 3 years now.The good: Maintenance is fantastic. Ive had a few issues over the years (AC broke twice, fridge dripping water, that sort of thing) and every issue but one has been cleared up in days. The only exception was a clogged bathtub that for some reason took a couple of /weeks/ to get cleared up. The grounds are well-maintained and clean. The neighborhood is quiet despite all the kids living in it (more on that in a bit) and Ive never once felt unsafe here (granted, Im a big dude so my experience is going to differ). They have garages, which is a weird rarity in this area for some reason. Their pet policy is much more accepting than other places Ive looked at. The office staff is always friendly and responsive. Even the smallest 1-bedroom has washer/dryer hookups. The location is great, right next to the IKEA and Galaxy 14 theater. The bad: Lets be honest, the apartments are old. Theyre in decent shape, but they dont even have any CAT-5 internet hookups, instead using screw-in cable hookups or phone line connections. For a while the building Im in (and likely others, based on what I saw) had an ongoing issue with the fire alarms going off for no reason. The appliances are also old (my fridge is tiny and the stoves burners are all tilted no matter how much futzting with them I do) and the apartments dont even come with microwaves. Because of the area, though, you will be paying through the nose. The price wasnt a big deal before the IKEA and Top Golf got put in, but now that theyre here the price keeps going up (this is why I will not be renewing my lease: I have empty units in my building alone and the price keeps going up). There are kids EVERYWHERE and they dont always look before running across the street. Related to the kids, since the complex is right next to a school theres a lot of school buses in the morning so if youre like me and head to work at about that time youll need to be aware of that.Overall, I enjoyed my time here and I wish they werent raising the price to unreasonable levels (seriously, you can find decent two bedrooms elsewhere in Indy for cheaper than Im paying for my one bedroom). If youre a family in need of a decent place in a good area and a house is out of the question, you could certainly do worse.
Well, I stayed in Wellington Place about 16 years ago, so my review is a bit outdated. It was the best decision I made because the Lantern Road school is so close. And my son really loved the school and the teachers a lot. The apartment was really fantastic back then and all the appliances were new and clean. I cannot say enough good things about the fun time I had with my family. Wellington Place brings back a lot of good, loving memories of family life. I used to play with my kids on the grass lawn. We used to shop at Marsh and Meijer back then. We used to eat at some of the best restaurants in town which were all conveniently located near the apartment. My kids especially loved UNO pizza. It was fabulous. And I must not forget to mention the Hamilton East Public Library. Not only did the kids spend many many hours reading there, but we could also borrow movies for free and watch them on the VCR. The movie collection at the library was nothing short of spectacular. Though my kids are grown up now, my wife and I can never forget the absolutely fantastic time we spent there! Not a week passes when we have not remembered our life in Fishers. It was so good back then! I realize things may have changed since then, and my review may or may not be entirely relevant. But writing the review has been a pleasant trip down memory lane. Traffic back then was not a problem. I used to work at the Roche office, just minutes away from home by car. What more could I have asked for? And we could even walk to Marsh and Walmart. Thanks a ton to the staff back then, wherever they may be now! They were some of the friendliest and most helpful people I have met. Wellington Place brings back sweet memories!
Grounds well kept. Prompt maintenance responses. Friendly staff
These are hardly high priced. Pretty fantastic deal for the location, schools, etc. I havent had any trouble here, but I always pay my bills too... the only thing I dont like about this place is trash logistics.
Very unprofessional, ignorant, complacent and lazy.
Good things first:1. Near to one of the best elementary schools in Indiana2. Near to Walmart, Marsh, Mc Donalds, Gas, whole lot of other day to day facilities3. Good office staff. Nice ladies, very knowledgeable and they do their best to get you checked in to the apartment.4. Very clean pools(There are 2 :) )5. Enough storage space inside the house6. Good floor plans.7. Tennis courts, sand volleyball, gym(24 hrs)Bad things next1. Not at all kid friendly. The kids swings and pre-historic, slides are cracking, they dont even keep the restrooms open, and most importantly its in the remotest corner of the apartment. For the most time the pool is closed even on a sunny day. So if you have kids especially boys, NOT YOUR PLACE.2. No Privacy. Patio faces the parking. If you have stuff that you put in your patio, like kids bikes,or shoes or anything then dont choose this apartment, because they peep in to your patio every now and then without prior notice(which according to me comes under breach of privacy). This is to force you to rent out then garages for 75$ a month3. 6 month lock in period with 2 months notice with 1.5 month rent as fine(Ridiculous). So once you sign, youre in a jail for 9.5 months.4. Not well ventilated. If its cold or hot, you will die for oxygen and sunlight.inside the house is dark and depressing unless you decide to keep your lights on all day to server Duke energy company better :)5. Dog poop everywhere.Guess what, you cant let your kids play outside in the grass.6. Broken roads, poorly maintained.(They have agreed to fix it. Once its done Ill update this review)7. Takes 90 days to fix maintenance issues as per their policy. They have taken care of it all in the several page agreement. Technically they can do whatever they say in the policy. Please find another placeI have moved in only a month ago.. Known is a drop..Unknown is an ocean :)
They will never give back your application fee even if you call them to cancel the agreement, I don’t like it at all.
