Kai is my girl! I literally drive an hour+ each way in order to go see her, all the way from the North Fulton! I probably pass 72 other lash extension places and 100 other wax places just to get to her. But… I wont go anywhere else. I get compliments all the time on the way my lashes look and I am asked on a daily basis about where I go to get them done. Kai is so crazy flexible when it comes to scheduling, she will squeeze me in whenever I need her to, and she has even stayed late or opened up early to accommodate my work schedule. Ive been going to her for years, and I have no plans to change. My extensions last about three weeks and I get my waxing done at the same time. This is such an amazing woman owned business in the Atlanta area, has a great overall model, has a very clean shop, and ensures all of her customers are happy with their services. 10 out of 10 recommend her to anybody.

Khaija is great. She does a wonderful job and tries to work with you for appointmets. I get my eyelash done but she does more than just eyelash. If you want good work for a good price wax spot is the place to go.

This place is pure genius. I annually get a dull Brazilian wax done here and if youre looking for a place to erase all of the fear and anxiety of waxing then you should definitely go here! Ive been going since she started doing at home waxes, and to watch it grow into the flourishing company it is in such a short amount of time is a testimony to the hard work and dedication she has to each of her clients. She is very informative with her craft and if there is any nervousness, she will lead you through the process step by step. If you go once youll soon see why you will only go here for any future services. The atmosphere alone will make you feel at home and she does everything to make sure youre as comfortable as possible! So excited to learn that she also added v-steams to her services full of herbs that she hand picks and specially mixes for your own specific needs and I cant wait for my next appointment! The waxing was quick and less painful than one would think and I can say its been almost a month and still no new growth nor in grown hair or irritation. Looking at the website and reviews I have been so eager to try out The Wax Spot but unfortunately I have called and reached out to them on three separate occasions during the business hours that are listed and reached a voicemail each time. In the voicemail it says that I can text so I undesirably tried that as well and have received limited replies. The business hours on the voicemail do not match the website and due to their lack of communication they unfortunately do not seem to want the additiona business. I was looking for a new place to regularly go for all my wax and spa needs, but I guess it won’t be here :(

This is a long review but totally worth the read. If you’re looking at this business, these are things you’ll want to know.I originally found The Wax Spot and Wellness on Groupon. In my search to find someone to do a full body wax for my wedding, I really did some research. (That is something you really don’t want jacked up!!) I checked out the website for this business and was really impressed by the online booking and prices.I really didn’t want to go to a franchise or spa because waxing is something you have to do repeatedly and honestly, I was trying to limit the amount of people that needed to see my genitals. In franchises or spas you run the risk of getting different staff members/ Estheticians.On my first visit I met Kai. She brought me back to the waxing room and I found out she’s the owner of the business and she does everything herself (yay! Only one person to see my junk). This was my first waxing experience below the belt and I was super nervous, but Kai’s demeanor really put me at ease. She wasn’t awkward and really made my vagina being exposed not that big of a deal. I’m not the thinnest person in the world so to feel comfortable in front of a stranger was refreshing. I also had my armpits, legs, and eyebrows waxed. This is probably the least amount of pain I’ve experienced getting the rest of me waxed.Let’s talk about the eyebrows— I’ve NEVER had anyone kill the brow game like this before. They look amazing! Which is hard to do because when I was 13 the extra thin brow fad was at its peak and now I’m regretting that decision everyday... (thank you Kai!)Beside the waxing I’ve also had Kai do my lashes! I trusted her to make me look fantastic for my wedding and she REALLY delivered. It made my photos pop.
