Love this gym. I really appreciate that there are two sets of weights and generally two sets of most equipment. Very clean facility. Seems like they have built a great community here.

As far as 24 hour gyms go, it is one. However once your membership agreement is up, going up to the counter and requesting to cancel your membership won’t work. They tell you that you need to use the address on the back of your member badge and MAIL THEM A LETTER REQUESTING TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP. Then it’s cancelled 30 days AFTER the postmarked date. You read that correctly. Snail mail, to milk another monthly fee out of you. Crooks. Also they only use bank acct. and routing numbers to pay for your membership, no cards.

I have cancelled my member in writing and sent back the member cards, 3 months later Ultimate Fitness has debited my account another membership fee. They did this once before when my account was supposed to be frozen and they wouldnt give back the money. This is really bad business. The staff is nice, but watch your money!!!

Like others have said, the cancellation process is very difficult and does not make sense. They require you to mail in a 30 day written notice with your gym access cards. If I mail in the access cards then how can I use the gym for the last 30 days that I am getting charged for? It is outright wrong to charge someone for a service that you are not providing. I would recommend that you stay away at all cost and find a gym that actually cares about the customers!

It is almost impossible to be a member at more than one place to tailor what fits your needs. I was looking for a gym that offered a variety of classes under one roof and it looks like I may have found it! The class schedule looks like it will be fun and I am excited to try all the classes offered.

Clean and well maintained gym with top notch equipment, free weights and machines.

This gym is amazing! Yes, it does have it’s busy times. But, what gym doesn’t? All members are happy to work in with you as you switch sets/machines! There is also a class for EVERYONE! Classes from yoga, strength training, cycle, barre and so many more! The instructions LOVE their job and motivate you the entire time! The staff/owner are very nice and welcoming, they also keep equipment/restrooms very clean and are happy to hear any recommendations you may have. The child care is also very clean, safe and the staff are all very accommodating to your child’s needs!There is also an option to try the gym for a week before joining. Go check them out!

Never smells pleasant and is always hot even though I’m not doing anything or when it’s not busy. Almost all the treadmills suck because they’re old and have never been replaced. Needs updating.

While the facilities may be great, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I went to the location to talk to someone about cancelling my membership. And was told I had to mail in my membership key, with a request to cancel membership letter, to the address on the key, but would still be billed for next month too. That alone makes little sense, as how would I be able to get in to the gym for the extra month id be billed for? So, whatever, did all that. I was fine with the extra billing, I just wanted my membership cancelled. I thought that would be the end of it all. But, a month later I was billed again. Called to find out why and was given the run around of someone will call you etc. This month... billed again. Absolutely ridiculous. Join at your own risk.

I am a member of this gym. I called this morning and ask the lady how do I open the do to the cycle room because I like riding the cycle bike as part of my workout everytime I come the door is looked. The lady said the room door is never lock she said it in a very rude way. Through part of my workout I go to open the door it is locked. I stopped coming for 2 weeks because the toilets was broke and they lie there is never no staff here on the weekend and this place is unprofessional. I have only been a member a couple of months. If I could give this place a -zero I would there is nothing worse then not being able to finish your workout cause a staff member lies and does not do there job I have pictures of the bathroom and the video of the door being locked. If you need staff on the weekends go to another gym cause you will get unprofessional help here or none at all.

You take for granted a “good” gym until you move away. This is by far the best gym ever. The instructors are fantastic and the variety of classes are unbeatable! I miss this gym!!!

One of my new favorite places! My toddler LOVES the daycare and teachers here! This makes my workout so much more enjoyable knowing hes having fun. The classes are excellent, no matter what kind of shape you are in! Great atmosphere all around…highly recommend!

Great place to work out. Enough room where your not on top of each other. No crazy meat heads either lol. Staff is very nice and Im looking forward to trying all the classes they offer.

Very clean facility all around with friendly and helpful staff. The childcare is excellent and very affordable with morning and afternoon hours. Whats even better is that the classes are included in the membership!

***UPDATE*** It appears that they have replaced the flooring in the locker area and scrubbed the filth from the rest of the perimeter. It is better than before, but not 5-star clean. Perhaps they saw this review, or others complained. If youre reading this, UF, please scrub the nastiness from the walls behind the urinal. Thanks!Ive been a member for many years. Its been a good, clean gym for most of the time Ive been a member. But after taking several months off due to an injury, I recently returned and was struck by how dirty the mens locker room had become. There is a dusty, dirty filth around the floor perimeter. It needs a deep cleaning scrub. I brought this to the attention of a staff member 2 weeks ago. The filth remains.

As I frequent many gyms in my fitness journey, for various reasons... I would DEFINITELY recommend Ultimate Fitness, in Fayetteville. The Staff there is super friendly, as well as the environment. I never have to wait for a machine as the machine ratio is spot-on.

Ive been a member here for a couple of months and have come to love the facility. This is a truly judgment free zone, the staff and other members are super friendly and helpful and the equipment is up to date and efficient. You wont regret joining, they have everything to tend to anybodys needs!

A great gym with good equipment & friendly emlpoyees

I’ve been a member here for over a year and I’d definitely say this is the best gym in Fayetteville. I’d give them 4 stars but the gym is a little small for the price and it stays pretty packed expect for small windows throughout the day because people from Fayette, Henry, and Clayton county work out here. It’s by far the nicest 24 hour gym I’ve ever been to though. Most of the staff members are pretty rude but they keep the gym clean so that’s really all that matters.

Ultimate Fitness is by far the cleanest, friendliest, and most accessible gym in the Fayette County area. Its prime location is in the heart of Fayetteville. It is also one of the only 24-hours gyms left in the area! They also have a great childcare program and fully loaded Group Fitness class schedule.

Great local gym, the best gym in Fayetteville if you ask me. Ive been a member here for almost 10 years and I really enjoy the atmosphere, equipment, and people!

I am amazed that this fitness center is still in business. My husband has been working out at the facility for several years. We have wanted to cancel the membership for a couple of months. It is always a different answer when you ask an employee, how to cancel. Finally, after speaking with a couple of different employees, mailing a letter and waiting the 30 days, we are DONE with Ultimate Fitness!!!!!Be smart, do the month to month at the new Fitness Facility down the road! It is cheaper monthly and you can freeze it at any time! Great facility and kind workers! Call Results Fitness (next to Broadway Diner)!

Ultimate Fitness has been the best gym! The members are so happy and it is family oriented. I would recommend this gym to anyone in the surrounding area.

Nice, clean gym with excellent equipment, trainers, tanning bed, massages, healthy food choices as well as classes for everyone! Best around hands down!

Stay Away! Beware! Their business practices are horrible! False advertisement for their child care and gym offering! TAMMY ( The Mgr ) is very rude and awful towards customers! Told us we had to many kids ( we have 4 two of which are 8 & 10 years old... She also turned off the lights while my kids were in the child care room and proceeds to talk trash about us IN FRONT OF MY KIDS! I think they forgot my 10 year old has ears and a mouth! Gym is outdated crowded and small... We will be canceling our membership and going elsewhere! Horrible place!

Don’t bring your kids.I recently signed a contract and I am beginning to regret the decision. The facilities are ok for the size of the building although to you can expect to wait for certain pieces of equipment during peak hours. I have also had experienced treadmill belts slipping multiple times and bathrooms out of order.My major concern is the lack of consistency when it comes to childcare. I have only brought my kids twice, but I will not do so again. Multiple times I have seen mothers with their children ready to work out turned away because the childcare facilities have refused to take their children. Management cites club rules that I am yet to find written or posted anywhere in the gym or my contract. Just recently I watched as a long term (5+ years) gym member was chastised by a gym manager in full view of the entire gym for bringing her children as she has done previously with no problem. To say she was embarrassed would be an understatement. When she approached the owner of the gym about the manager’s behavior and the lack of consistency, she was met with little more than a shoulder shrug.This gym is ok if you’re single or don’t want to bring your kids, but other than that save your money and spend it with another business that will actually appreciate it. I would cancel my contract but of course, the process is convoluted and tedious and essentially designed to be impossible.Buyer beware indeed.

Its a nice gym but like most have stated in their reviews..is that the cancellation process is a Hassel, I cancelled my membership and was still being charged so I had to cancel my credit card..later I saw the bill on my credit report.

I love ultimate fitness, I was a member a couple of years ago and stopped going. Recently joined again and love absolutely love the atmosphere.

Ive been coming here for a while, never too crowded. Clean and has pretty much everything. Sauna is a plus!

I have been working out at the Ultimate Fayetteville location for 2 1/2 years. I have really been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. The staff works around the clock wiping down the equipment which reduces the opportunity for staff to grow. That is a problem at some gyms.Derek AndersonFayetteville, GA

Tami is the absolute best .....warm and friendly atmosphere!!! If you are Nervous about working out in front of others this is the place to be!

Smaller than the big brand gyms but plenty of room and equipment for all my weight training needs.

If you pre pay for a year, you get 15 months and no difference in the cost of going to a budget gym. The equipment and such are great.

24/7 Fair prices, a lot of equipment

They have weights. You move them. Plus classes and a friendly set of faces. Dont mind us muscle bound freaks, just say hi!

The owner of this establishment is unpleasant and unwelcoming. Customer service is not good. Spend your money elsewhere.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for months, and I keep getting charged. Every time I call, they give me excuses as to why they cannot refund my money, and then tell me that I will not be charged again.

Very friendly staff, tons of equipment, very clean and lots of class options and trainers available!
