I absolutely love visiting Golden Corral at the buffet or taking the buffet to go we have always had a great experience. They have a great selection of food to choose from and we really enjoy that we can come and pick what we want to eat for dinner versus being limited to a small amount of choices. My absolutely favorite meal from here is the steak from the grill rice and gravy and steamed cabbage mixed with turnip greens you guys should really try it sometime.

Only giving the extra star because most of the food was good. Mac and cheese had no seasoning whatsoever. Fried chicken was also under seasoned. Took a long time for the waitress to get us our drinks to the table but after that she was attentive (more than likely a management problem). They no longer offer military discount. About 90% of staffs and customers had their masks under their noses or chin but we were pretty much told not to come back because we didnt have masks which they charge $1 a piece for. Even though the hostess didnt say anything about it. It costs too much to be disrespected and eat underseasoned food. Would rather just eat the $40 we spent.

That restaurant is bigger than other golden corals. It even has a big smokehouse or grill area. The food was great.

I do not recommend this place, I wanted to eat shrimp or another food different from the one I have at home. what I can find there is the same as I can cook at home. It is not worth leaving my money here. Not recommended

The food was hot and tasty as far as buffets go. It had a nice selection so we both found something we liked. The price was decent. We would go back if we find ourselves in a bind for time and wanted a quick meal without waiting for it to be cooked. Since we normally stay away from fast food places this was a great alternative. (There are Covid precautions in place here so we felt comfortable being here.)

My wife and I eat here often. We love the food and the service. The workers are very nice and helpful.

I literally waited 12 minutes before I even got a waitress to bring me a drink. She tells me they had her working in the back. A waitress works the front, kitchen staff works the back. This is a product of poor managing skills. Ive been in management for over 20 years

I went in with really low expectations - this was my first Golden Corral visit. I was delightfully surprised! We went for dinner on a Saturday- no lines plenty of tables. I think it was unusually quiet, though. We appreciated the big tables for our big family - 6 altogether.I was impressed with the good food. I had low expectations - this being a buffet. Everything was very tasty. The steak alone is reason enough to go again. A steak dinner for 15$ - great! But everything I ate was pretty good. No complaints. Only it was a little overwhelming, the size and choices. I think Ill do better next time, having taken it all in.Our waitress, Anna, deserves a shout out - she was literally the best buffet waitress ever, prompt, constantly bringing more water, not bothered by the kids, (and i wouldnt blame her if she was!) and she didnt appear stressed when the dinner rush did start, and it was full. Shes a credit to the restaurant and should be a manager, or something!All in all, very good. Well go again.

My family of 40 was pleased as we were able to accommodate everyone for a repast after the funeral services of my Uncle. The staff was awesome and there was something for everyones liking.

The food wasn’t bad! Our waitress was a sweet heart and checked on us often! I kept being harassed by one of their workers/cooks! He kept walking by me saying little innuendos that made me uncomfortable! Besides that it was a nice restaurant, the restrooms were clean!

Ever so often you have to brave the turbulence and fly to the south. Im here at a Golden Corral in Fayetteville, NC. Whole catfish, real Chicken n dumplings, collard greens, black eye peas, corn bread. I could go on, but you get the picture. This is not your California Golden Corral. More selections, friendlier service and the Sweet Tea is Great.

The food is good and hot. Our waitress Simsuk, I apologize in advance if, her name is spelled incorrectly. She is very nice and attentive. Our drinks were never empty and our table was clear.They were very busy today so, I didnt get alot of pictures. We will be back.

This restaurant has the worst manager. They dont care if workers get fired. They have already fired several in the past threatening them to leave. The chef started talking like a waiter and went to the customers table. How embarrassing it must of been for the waitress/waiter. They use to get a lot of tips but now they are losing it because customers are getting angry at the managers attitude and bossing around the front cashier.

My family and I came into this restaurant and the food was good . The customer service was very good . This place very clean, family oriented and just lovely. We will be coming again.

Ordered through a delivery app, but it wasnt quite right. So i took it back and the manager got up from eating his salad and made me a whole new plate, no questions asked!!! So, Thank you, Robert, at the Skibo Rd. location in Fayetteville NC, I really appreciate the service and willingness to make sure i was pleased!!!

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I am a fan of Golden Corral and it is visited in FL. GA .NY and TX this place is bad and doesnt represent it at all. very bad food and little variety the employees are rude especially the grill guy who questions you if you ask for a little more

Great Buffet! Friendly service. Fresh food. No waiting in line or go back to your vehicle and wait till called like Olive Garden.

What social distancing???Jammed pack Sunday dinner. No distancing with the place at near capacity.Our waitress did insist on sanitizing our table before we sat down...kudos to her.They handed out plate silverware and a glove going to the serving line.NOBODY care to distance themselves from anyone in line.At least majority did wear a mask and most seem to have them on correctly...most. Were no mask patrol, thats managements job, which they did(DIDNT DO) poorly.With over 10,000 cases and over 100+ death in county, nobody seem to care, including Golden Corral and the management in Fayetteville location.We will NOT be going back there again, we DO NOT recommended it to anyone for safetys sake in this pandemic.

Long story short while in the middle of a pandemic, you can go to Golden Corral on Skibo Rd, and be served with one hand by an employee while they scroll their phone in their other hand.Manager could have cared less.Are you trying to give me Covid-19???I should have been offered a refund or a gift card or something. It’s disgusting. I don’t expect perfection, but some simple procedures to ensure we are serving food safely would be nice. Very disappointed. Food was underwhelming as well. Very ghetto. Don’t recommend.

They did make safety a first priority but the food was not good at all. First and last time. And the waitress didn’t seat anyone we pretty much found a table and sat down after they tried to sit six people in a booth and two people at a table . A lot of the food was not available . Our waitress doing a good job with the tables she had other than that it was a bad experience

Staff could be a little more friendly and pay attention to detail. The food is good for the price but most of the staff seemed irritated by us customers, especially the steak station. There were some very friendly wait staff at the tables. The buffet line was poorly labeled (see pics) and seemed to run out of things quickly with a wait to be restocked. Still for what you pay, its a decent steak dinner. If youre not there for that, then maybe somewhere else would be a better choice price wise. The younger guy at the steak section was friendly and helpful but the older gentleman just looked like he hated every minute behind the counter.

I ask for steak, look at the pictures what I got, dry nasty meat covered with barbecue sauce so you cant see well and the restaurant server told me # well the beauty of Buffet is that you can get something else # I pay for the food so Im expecting get what I like. I think the cook and the restaurant serve should look for another job if they dont know about customer service!!!

Excellent food and very accommodating. They are very military friendly and their catered food stayed hot for quite some time due to how they packaged it. I couldnt have asked for better catered food for our soldiers!

The food is ok. The vegetables are from a can. This place is always crowded. I wish that people would have more control over their children in a packed environment and not let them play over the food. The variety of the food is a nice selection.

Ive been to this location a few times already. And trust me, I was a bit weary especially with covid, but they are making sure to give their customers the best care. All the staff have gloves on at all times. They have their masks on. And they take care of you. Making sure your drink is filled, your plates are gone. And the food is exactly what you expect it to be. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go to this location.

Love their rolls! The buffet selection never really changes much even from lunch and or dinner. Military discount is also a plus

We are currently in a pandemic, most restaurants have a capacity limit and they do not.. on the weekends it is packed to capacity... families are waiting in chairs and they continue to keep allowing people to come in. some people are not wearing masks and kids under the age of 10 are not being supervised..

Gates food & very hot and juicy liked a lot, will go back.

I wouldve given it 5 stars, however having to wait for someone to come and give you silverware and gloves. The gloves should be hanging up at the buffet and you should be told at the register where to go to get these things.

Man at the register at around 7pm today was rude! (Older black male with glasses) I️ asked Him a simple question that I️ didnt See on the signs and he responded as if it bothered him so much. Then I️ asked Him the question again because he didn’t answer it, and he responded “it’s up there” and shook his head and rolled his eyes. Next while I️ was Getting food I️ saw A food worker blow his nose with gloves on. I️ watched Him and he saw me watching him but he did not wash his hands or change his gloves but continued to work. I️ give The three stars because of the food and our waiter Jamie who was very pleasant.

Food was very good today

First time here. Had to try the Hibachi Grill and it was amazing. Nice char on the meats and the bountiful amount of fresh vegetables and add ins to make unique plates.The rest of the buffet was fresh and with a lot of variety. Staff was very nice and attentive to my party. Restrooms were up to par and at a 8/10 cleanliness.I would definitely recommend this location.

Golden Corral has gone down hill so bad....the one thing I dont like is people letting there kids go up and serve themselves without supervision kids running all around..... I understand that it is a family restaurant but watch over your kids....

Food is great but they need to change the hours on the phone because they are completely wrong. Really annoying when they open an hour and a half later than the hours on there phone message states.

Tried going during the month of November to get the free Veterans day meal that was advertised to all Active Duty and all Veterans foe the entire month of November to recieve either one free meal card good till May or One free meal for that visit in November. They absolutely refused to provide it saying they were only provided a select few cards and only on veterans day itself. This is not what was advertised. This is a blatant example of illegal false advertising.

Omg I am here eating in disbelief how the lady that is passing out plates is acting to me and my daughter. The lady that brung our drinks was wonderful.

Was not allowed in because I did not have a face mask and refused to buy a 5 cent mask for $1. Others inside, including employees walking around without one. Never will go back. Drive to Jacksonville, they dont charge for a facemask.

Great places especially for family of 4+

All of the food was good and easily accessible the staff was efficiant and friendly. The only thing I noticed was major crowding and the lack of social distancing.

Did not feel like this restaurant had practiced safe 6 feet spacing with seating, and quite a lot of people not wearing masks while up grabbing food. Food was good, just does not feel very safe and does not seem like they are worried about their safety or guests safety.

Me and my sunshine had dinner here earlier this week... Our waitress Ms. Paula was so amazing... Super friendly Always smiling and had no problem doing her job! She asked me if I drink coffee... I told her I liked cold coffee... She hooked me up with the best Ms. Paula special ever! Better then Starbucks!!!! 💯 It was an amazing cold coffee!!! The food was great... We loved the fryed butterfly shrimp... So much to choose from... The bar was clean and neat! Thank you for the wonderful customer service maam! We appreciate you! ♥️

It had been a long time since I had eaten at Golden Corral because I just simply wasnt a fan and always felt bad afterward..My sweetheart wanted a buffet and we ended up at GC.. It was seriously so good we almost went back the next night for dinner! I was impressed with the options on the bar and even more impressed with the quality of everything we had!We will definitely go back!!

Many of the food items were cold. My husband and I got a variety of items, which we often do, in order to share and sample different things. Most items were cold. The staff preparing the food were rude. We have been to several Golden Corrals throughout different states and we simply were not satisfied with the quality here.

Always, wanted to eat at Golden Corral and now, all of us feel like over stuffed turkeys. Good food...

The absolute worst Golden Corral experience of my life. Everything was either overcooked been sitting forever or just outright nasty. Ive been a chef in many different types of restaurants. When I complained about the food including the sweet tea absolutely nothing was done I was giving a dirty look and they moved on so we just paid $40 for two of us to go in there look at a plate and go well it might taste good if we add pepper and hot sauce. But unfortunately you couldnt mask the nasty taste of the hash browns the running mashed potatoes horribly cooked and Miss cut steak not to mention data $18 a plate you think there be more of a selection than chicken. Almost two-thirds of the protein that I saw there was chicken. I definitely wont be back and I have no idea for the life of me why a corporate franchise such as this cant follow the standards laid out for many years

Went here for breakfast. The staff was friendly and professional. Service was very good. The food was good, especially liked the omelet station, where you can create your own personalized omelet. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The price for breakfast and lunch isnt bad dinner prices seem a bit high.

This place is in a very convenient location, parking can be a little bit of a hassle. Its a big pricey, but most of the time the food is quite good. Their rolls are amazing. They actually have a large selection as well as fresh meats being cooked right in front of you. It can be pretty crowded and take a bit to get drink refills. The staff is usually nice and on the ball about taking used plates away. They do need to come up with a system for when they are so busy they cant seat anyone. One time we went on a busy night, before looking for a table we grabbed our plates of food...and there were no open tables. We had to stand for about 5 minutes before a table opened up for us.

It is becoming such a disappointment when you get there and items are not available. Got their today and no eggs, so couldnt have my eggs, hash browns, sausage and then get my lunch. I have been there when you had no eggs, baked potato, beans, sausage, bacon, and even some desserts. I have even had to wait 10 minutes to get some ice cream (not exaggerating), or waiting for someone to give me a plate, silverware etc. This is bad planning with the food supply. It is not good when you are expecting one thing and it is not available because you could not do your food planning spot on.

Good service and food was fresh when I went. Have it 4 stars only for unorganized process on to go service
