This was our second visit to Sammios but at a different location. The lunch special prices are great and the food is awesome. I had the lasagna with bread and a side salad. My husband had the sausage sandwich. All their breads are handmade and so are the salad dressings, red sauces and alfredo sauce. The staff is super friendly.

Very convenient and the staff was really courteous. My order was just as I ordered it when they said I would be done. Great place to din in or take out.

Always excellent food. Love the pizza, calzones, salad, spaghetti. Little pricey but you can usually get enough for 1 meals with one plate.

I changed my review simply because I have had money issues at this location. I ask to speak to a manager and both times a young adult came out. I have no idea whats going on or if they are scamming people but you cant play with peoples money ... Or tip yourself.

Never have I experienced such service at a dining establishment. I was embarrassed that I had brought my friends and family here. If I could give a ZERO star rating I would.Made a reservation for the back room for friends and family after my mothers funeral. The room fee was $300.00 which I had no issue with until we got there. The air conditioning was not working in the private room and they had a small portable unit sitting in a closet. It was uncomfortable to say the least. It took 30 minutes to get someone to take our drink order (20 guests) and they did not have water on the tables when we arrived nor with in the 30 minute wait for our drink order to be taken. We ask 1 of the servers for a glass of water so a guest could take their medication and he mumbled that we just needed to wait. Another 20 minutes to get our food order taken. Only 1 choice of salad dressing as they said they were out of everything else. 1 of the table ends collapsed and spilled drinks all over 2 guest, 1 of which was in a wheelchair. When we asked for something to clean it up, no one returned so we got paper towels ourselves. Asked for salt and pepper for our salads, It came after we were eating our entrees. Several people asked for refills of drinks numerous times and never received them. The rest of the restaurant was not busy with only 4 tables of other patrons with 3 servers. The servers we rude, slow, ignored requests and most of the food was barely warm. We asked to speak with a manager and we were told that the young man was the acting manager. We said we would contact the booking manager at a later time.Sammios was my Mothers favorite Italian restaurant and thought this would be a great place to celebrate her life. DEFINITELY A WRONG MOVE.

Had the Fried Zucchini and the Eggplant Parmesan last night. The Fried Zucchini was good but the eggplant was pretty salty. I couldnt even eat the parts that werent drenched in tomato sauce but the spaghetti portion was still good. My husband really enjoyed his Manicotti and we had a really nice and conversational server. I dont remember his name only that he used to work at Chilis. He made the night for us.

The food is great; however, if youre looking for smiles and friendly service, this is not the place. Its a package deal for me. I have to really space out my visits and prepare myself for the consistent poor service.

Our family loves to eat here. We are trying new dishes since we fell in love withe spaghetti (baked, with beef strips, meatballs or just meat sauce).My son loves the grilled shrimp and I tried the Baked Ziti absolutely awesome!!

The food was nice although it took over half an hour for it arrive and then they never told us. My mom was significantly more upset about this than I was however. It was more of an inconvenience.

Food was fine, but the service was poor. We had to get our own silver ware from another table she only came around once to refill our drinks putting up chairs while we were eating then you expect us to pay your tip the amount it made us???? Ridiculous.... not to mention they threw both of our leftovers in a togo box.... We wont come back to this location.

I love Sammios on Raeford Rd. The atmosphere is family friendly, the service is outstanding, and the food is delicious. You cant go wrong by coming here. The staff is absolutely awesome, I cant say enough about this place!

As good as or better than any chain Italian restaurant. Dont let the older building fool you. The food and service is very good and very friendly. Great family atmosphere. It took a little time to get our food because the pizzas were made fresh, but it was worth the wait. Compared to other places in the area, you got more food for your money. Definitely recommend.

Always love eating here, Sabrina is the best by far and makes us feel like family. I purchased to go food this time and was disappointed in the lack of sauce they are putting on their Ziti. I do purchase extra, but even that cant help crunchy dry noodles that get over baked. We will return and hope they check their cook or take others advise. I am not the only one that complained. They just need a steady manager that CARES!

Not what I was expecting at all. There was little to no one in the restaurant and the food was mediocre. The bathroom needed tending to and I was overall unimpressed. Atleast the waitstaff was polite.

Ordered eggplant parmigiana, the eggplant was so thin could not taste or see it, pasta was close to cold. Meal was a wast of money

Been eating here all of my life, great food, all of the bad reviews are not recent which tells me we have been doing better. Also majority of these reviews are lies.

The quality of this service and their food has declined over the years. The restaurant seemed to be run by kids every time Im there. If you have an issue or are dissatisfied with your food and you call to tell them the way they choose to deal with it is to put you on hold and not comeback to the phone. I ordered lasagna to go with a few extra pepperoni. Big mistake because instead of getting lasagna, I recieved a pan full of old dried up pepperoni and a little lasagna.

They were super busy and probably low staffed but the food was excellent and Daniel did a great job as our server. Will definitely be back.

12 of us at a table ordered 12 different delicious dinners. The staff was attentive and pleasant. While others were pleased with their sodas or alcoholic beverages, I was raving about Sammios coffee. Delicious! All of it!!!

Restaurants clean. Secret friendly and attentive. Baked tomato feta app and spaghetti combo were delicious. Zucchini fritters tastes good, but beating feel off; need to adjust his its breaded proud to going to ensure it doesnt fall apart. Lasagna was OK, but can use improvement as it lacked flavor. Chicken marsala needs a little of improvement; chicken was burned, would have cooked better if pounded flat then sauteed rather than left impounded and grilled; would have been better to use a poultry gravy with poultry, rather than a heavy brown gravy they is better suited for beef and others similar red meats. Sangria was OK, but would have been better with brandy or rum instead of vodka.

Fish average, food average, wait staff average, atmosphere average, prices above average. Not even hush puppies with fried flounder and baked potato.

The food here was amazing and everyone’s else’s food looked amazing as well. Im so happy I had a great experience here as it was boyfriends birthday and he just got back from 3 weeks on the field. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices and amazing service😁

The poor staff had a reservation for 30 and a total of three staff members FOR THE WHOLE RESTAURANT the food wasnt bad, but they were so inadequate and it was not their fault.

The order said it would be at my house at 5:05, then doesn’t show up till 5:35. Then my Order was not the right items. Don’t spend TIME or MONEY with this one .. the manager didn’t even care when you call the restaurant.. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN.

Oh my goodness, I am obsessed with their spaghetti! I look forward to Wednesdays, thats when they have their spaghetti special.Call in your order, drive to the restaurant, call again to let them know that you are there, and they bring your order out to your car.Excellent food, great prices, fabulous service, what more could you ask for??

I will start with a caveat to my review...I was with a large, demanding party for a graduation celebration. While the servers were on top of most everything, we had a few hiccups. Having to ask a waitress (or different waitresses as the case may be) to bring out the cake we left earlier at least 3 times. But again, we were a large party on a very busy night!I appreciated the attention and quick service, but the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the Sams beef strips which Ive ordered elsewhere (under a different name everywhere) and was disappointed in the flavor. There was 3 small, thin pieces of steak on the very large dish that was overcooked. There was far more cheese than sauce or steak but overall, not a horrible meal.The beer was cold, but I was charged 2 different prices for the same size, draft beer. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, my new bill was minus the lesser amount and I was charged (apparently correctly) for the 2 beers. $1 more was the difference in price. (Guess it doesnt serve to be honest...stuck me with a higher bill!)Overall, the atmosphere was well suited for the occasion and we never felt rushed to get the party out. I was grateful for a sizable party room that kept us from the noise of the crowd in the restaurant. Im glad to know there is somewhere in Fayetteville that offers larger dining areas for groups.

I dont like pasta my wife loves pasta got a chance to taste her lasagna and spaghetti from previous it is too sweet to eat.

They never put enough sauce on the spaghetti. And then its $1.99 for extra sauce. Im done with them. I shouldnt have to beg for spaghetti sauce on my spaghetti. Sammios has lost a devote customer.

Curb side pickup was a first and they made it simple. Pull into a slot when u arrive call them and let them know what slot your in(1-6) and they being your food. SIMPLE......

I love sammios I love their food but this experience left me upset. We have been there an hour or almost an hour when our waiter began to give us the check and proceed to kinda make us leave when we werent done with our meal. I eat slow Im sorry but my friend whos never been there before has a health condition to where she cant eat fast at all. Im not coming back to this location but Ill go to a different one sorry.

The food was good, the server was not. She was inattentive to our needs. There was literally 10 people in the restaurant and she took too long in bringing anything that we asked for. She threw our straws on the table instead of handing them to us.

Best Italian did I have had in Fayetteville

So I did curbside pickup tonight.I got the spaghetti combo which comes with one meat ball, pepperoni, green peppers,sausage, mushrooms, onion I believe is on there but anyways .I asked for extra sauce which was just meat sauce but I wanted all the veggies also that comes with spaghetti combo.The price is like $14.00 something then I ot a side salad and extra sauce total was $21.00 dollars. So all I wanted was some extra parmesean packets of cheese for this big plate of spaghetti I only get 2 packs .Soni call back inside whole sitting outside and explain $$$$$ is no issue if I have to pay for extra packets of parmesean fine .So the manager just gives them to me.I then explained with the extra sauce thought it would have the veggies and stuff in.it like the spaghetti combo .Ok so basically the manager wanted to take my extra sauce that I had already in car take it back to the kitchen to add the veggies noooooooo especially during a pandemic like thats nasty. I said no bring me a new one. So waiting patiently he brings the sauce and veggies back out .I had to pay like $7.00 and some change for the extra toppings the veggies that was in the spaghetti combo.So basically I almost paid $30.00 for one plate and some veggies and sauce lol like I said $$ is not the issue .When you call a establishment things definitely need to be explained just like the stress the packs of parmesean and its only a certain amount you can get, then stress the fact to your employees if they want extra sauce with this particular spaghetti combo .Explain to your customer how it want have the extra veggies and meatball and stuff in there. Like it would be better on the employees and the customer and all this stuff .Like these restaurants need to get it together seriously and dont ever try to take stuff from someone out of there car during a pandemic to put take back into the kitchen thats a big one .Especially guess what I was driving what I call my covid car which I do work with those type patients. Please.....Will I ever go back maybe in the future but next time please dont stress on the little things .

The alfredo was entirely to salty. When the manager was told that he proceeded to tell me that in the past 9 years he has never herd that. I know for a fact ghat he has. Its written in another review. So he lied. I took my $60 and dome change food back and let him keep every penny including the almost $20 tip I gave him. What an arrogant man. Im very disappointed.

Had a family dinner before the virus hit. Atmosphere is dated; small banquet room dreary. We had 1 waiter for @ 20 folks; nice guy but had no help - drinks and bread never refilled. No one asked how our food was or if we needed anything. I had linguini with clam sauce-- I did have a nice amount of clams but linguine and sauce was mediocre. My mothers spaghetti was dry and choked-- both dishes not worth taking home as left overs. Thank goodness I wasnt paying or I would have said something. Heard Hope Mills site is better. I live in Raleigh -- certainly not worth the drive! Save your money !

We use to love Sammio’s in Hope Mills and would give it a 5 star before. But lately the food does not taste the same. Maybe the menu or cooks changed but I liked it the way it was before. Plus our waitress was sick and never should have been at work. We did not hardly eat our food and so we wasted $100. It is usually packed but last night it looked slow for a Saturday night. Not sure if we will go back.

I ordered Marcella chicken, it was served with NO noodles. It is one of my favorite dishes. I have eaten this dish at probably 30 or more restaurants all over this country & have never been served this dish without noodles. In addition, the sauce was very thin. Everywhere else, the sauce is thickened & creamy, not thin & watery. Taste was good, but very poor presentation. Very disappointed.

They are the slowest on to-go orders, its rather annoying. If they could pick up the pace it would be great.

Unfortunately, the alfredo sauce was bland and watery. The meat sauce with the spaghetti and meat balls tasted as if it came from out of a bag or can. Some of the dishes are frozen and prepped in a microwave. Not fresh. Definitely not Italian cuisine. I should have just made my own pasta and sauce at home.

Nice, quiet place for lunch or dinner. Can accommodate small meetings like ours comfortably. Their food portions are outrageous! We ate 3 meals off our leftovers. Their food is great, as close to authentic as I would know. Family friendly. Its a really good place to eat, peeps. Check it out.

This is an excellent privately owned Italian restaurant. Their takeout is fast and hot. The servers are always pleasant. It’s in a great location and you will not be disappointed.

Service was terrible. Had to ask waitress to wipe table. She came back to take our order but still had not wiped table. She called a male bus boy over to wipe table. We ordered she brought our salads, with no bread. We asked for bread. She said they usually bought it out with entree. But she brought it it wasnt done. Tasted doughy. We asked for more done bread. She bought it. We were the only customers in the place beside one other gentlemen. Who appeared to be a regular.

A delightful place to eat. The service was outstanding thanks to Rachael, our waitress. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent.

Best restaurant in Hope Mills. We no longer live in town, but when I visit, I ALWAYS make a point to eat at Sammios. I have never had a bad meal...the smothered chicken is excellent!
