HVAC repairs is like auto repair. Some mechanics want to replace your whole engine when all you need is an oil change. After my AC froze, Ray ran his diagnostics and came back with “change your air filters”. Hard to find someone you can trust but I found one in Ray’s. .

My AC quit working on a day that the temps were nearing 100 degrees!! They had someone at my house within 2 hours!! I have a home warranty and I had initially called them. They couldn’t get anyone to my home for 2 weeks!!! The gentleman from Ray’s was very kind and professional! He explained everything thoroughly. Ray’s Heating and Air has gained a customer for life!

I had problems with my old unit. found them on Google. gave them a try. they kept my unit going for years, until it DIED..😂 But had them put in a NEW unit because of the great work they done before. gave me lots of options to choose from. they showed up on Time. an had my old unit out an NEW one installed in bout 8hrs. Im 101% HAPPY HAPPY with all the work. an they clean up after the work. looks like they was NEVER here. I will be recommending them to ANYONE that ask. I honestly enjoyed the experience with this company. They called me several times to let me know about when the technician was coming and when he was on his way. And the technician was very helpful and insightful about our issue! Highly recommend.

Never again. I had them out in December when we had a few hot days because the coils on my AC unit were icing up. The technician checked the charge and said it was fine but that the filters and external unit needed to be cleaned. This was done as directed and until recently I had no reason to run the AC. When I did run it the same thing happened and the coils were icing up badly. I called them back to tell them that the problem had not been solved and the AC was doing the same thing it was doing when they were called out to fix it the first time. They wanted to charge me another service call to come out when the service call I had paid for the first time had not properly diagnosed or fixed the problem. I hung up and called a different company. When the new company came out they found the refrigerant to be 5 pounds low. Guess you should hire technicians that know what they are doing. Too bad I can not get my money back because your technician did not properly diagnose or fix the issue!!

Ray’s Heating and A/C is my go to!! 2yrs ago my A/C went out on a hot summer night (Friday or Saturday). American Home Shield scheduled a company to come out but I had to wait until Monday or Tuesday. Therefore, I looked up companies and went down the list and called every company, surprisingly no one could come out prior to Monday. When I got to Ray’s Heating and A/C, he said he could come out the next morning. Ray is very professional, he makes every attempt to come earlier than your scheduled appointment, his work is top notch and you can’t beat his prices!! The technicians were very professional and punctual. They found the problem and fixed it. And, they even returned (no charge) when something wasnt quite right with our repair. They returned asap to fix the issue. Im very please with their work and professionalism as well as their reasonable prices. Called Rays after my AC went out thus morning at 1:00am (July 15, 2016). They responded promptly after I left a voicemail on their machine.Representative was courteous and I was able to get a same day repair. Ray’s quoted me one price which I agreed to. While waiting on my invoice I received a call saying the tech took “undid” the repair and left the property. I then got a call from Ray, stating that I needed to pay now so he could send the tech back our. The price went from $422 to $595!! I was coerced into purchasing a maintenance plan to save myself money. Since I was trying to enjoy vacation and help get the AC working from 400 miles away, I finally said whatever. When I got home, o found another company to do the same job for $350. That included their maintenance plan for two more check ups within the year! Thanks, Vinson Heating and Air!

I have had a nightmare of an experience with 2 previous companies (one sent by American Home Shield....the worse warranty company), both took my money and I remained with the same Freon leak. Having experienced that, I did not trust any HVAC Co. I asked around and was given Rays Heating/AC...which has turned out to be the very BEST, reasonable and honest company that I have dealt with. Its only been two weeks, and because I moved out of my home, I havent used the units, but I feel good that they were installed as they should be. Also, Mr Ray was the best, he stood with me every step of the way, with an excellent attitude, very nice and professional.....thank you! For many companies you will just be a number, and given a big invoice. I would not hesitate to call Rays Heating/AC in the future!!

I chose this company based on reviews. However, when the technician arrived to me and began his work, I quickly realized I made a big mistake. If a customer asks a question and the reply is, To be honest I dont know, I just started. Thats a big sign of you may have called the wrong company for the job.
