I visited the Baileys Crossroads location at approximately 2pm on June 19. I was ready to purchase a few large balloon bouquets for an event next week. The two staff persons were sitting on the balloon counter extremely occupied by whatever was entertaining them on their phones. I asked a few questions and they answered me with a mumble without looking up from their phone. I asked for clarification and received the same answer. They had no interest in helping me with my order. I dropped all the items I planned to purchase on the counter and left. Thankfully Party City is nearby and the customer service I received was excellent. I know where Ill take my business in the future, and it will not be Party Depot.

The guy (manager) is rude and doesnt quite comprehend what customer service is. Do yourself a favor and go to Party City up the street just to avoid dealing with him. Not to mention the entire time he was blowing up my balloons HE WASNT WEARING A MASK. And to the young lady that works with him, Im sorry you have to be around him. I saw how rude and belittling he was towards you. Target across the street is actively hiring. You deserve better. 💯

Do not purchase from here if you need to return anything.Receipt says you have 60 days to return with tons of exceptions. I purchased gold charger plates that you put plates on top of for decoration for my friend’s event, come to find out she had enough already to use.I tried to return them, but b/c they are “serve ware” I could not return them. The manager claimed I could have served food on them and bought it back....you don’t serve food on charger plates. They are for decoration.Manager is rude. Go to party city down the street!

I bought a bouquet of L.O.L millar balloons. The largest one (girl LOL) deflated within 24 hours to where it was almost touching the floor. This balloon should last 3 months. I called and spoke to the manager, Manny, and sent him photos with my receipt. Unfortunately the party started at 9am when I purchased the balloons at 4:15pm the day prior - Millar balloons should last - well it did not and he said I woul dhave to bring everything back to get a refund. My receipt photo was not sufficient. He deflated our birthday celebration and I had a 3 year old crying. Not good. Do not use this location. Simple service became a nightmare.

I called Party Depot cooperate office and still haven’t received a call back for being harassed and followed in the store by the manager name Art. I posted this matter on social media and 10 people said the same thing about Mr. Art. I’m not understanding why he’s still employed there. I will be calling my friend at channel 4 news and protest outside this location if something isn’t done.

I had a terrible customer service experience due to lack of sympathy and racial behaviors. I believe my money is as good as anyone else’s money. I work in customer service and this is definitely the worst representation of what “customer service” means.I am entitled to having my opinions and not just accept to what the rep of that Store wants me to buy. There was an elderly guy there had the worst attitude ever. I felt like never coming back again. I’ve been to that store over ten times before. After the service I got form this elderly rep, I will for sure not be back again.Nonetheless spend over one penny or over one hundred dollars at that store.

What a horrible place. Doesn’t listen to COVID-19. Asked for help from a worker and he had his mask off and was so rude to answer our question. A little boy was running around putting his mouth on all of the little party horns and placing them back in little area he was grabbing them from. Super messy and the store has a weird smell. Definitely won’t be returning after the rude experience we’ve had today.

When checking out I was told to put my cart awayI wasn’t asked politely but told to do so. There are no sanitation provisions in the entire store. This is the second time I’ve gone to this store and been treated rudely. I won’t be going back.

Should have read the reviews before I drive all the way here from DC. I called at 8:07 pm and asked what time they closed. Young lady who answers says 9 arrive at the store at 8:26 and they closed.What a waste of gas and effort. Also sign on door says 9.

Poor customer service. Cashier and whoever the other employee was arguing with us over a price. All of the products were on the wrong price. Cashier was like you will find this or that at Target.

Employees don’t know anything, gave us wrong information about their return policy then we wasted our money to do nothing. Really rude guy /employee/ gave us bad attitude, dont go there

Go to Party City. It’s basically walking distance from this location. This place won’t accept returns for defective products. Not even a $6 product brought back 2 days later with a receipt and original packaging. There are many other options for party supplies with respectful customer service. Don’t get screwed.

Came here for the first time a couple days ago and bought bags of balloons I realized two days later that one of the bags I picked up was the wrong color. I wanted black and accidentally took the midnight blue. The balloons bag was not opened and and was still in the party depot bag. I went to the register to ASK if I could simply switch the color. He (older guy) looked at the bag and says “go grab them” I come back with the same bag/quantity just different color balloons and he asks me for a receipt, I tell him I don’t have it, I simply want a different color. He’s like well I can’t do that if you don’t have the receipt. I ask, “even if the bag is closed and I’m simply switching color” (politely) he says well you could have bought them anywhere... I show him the party depot bag. He grabs the midnight blue balloons and tosses them on the ground and walks away and tells me to “go”. All I can say is RUDEEE! I definitely won’t be going back and I recommend you don’t either! I read the reviews before typing this because I didn’t want to leave a bad review after one bad experience but it seems this man (older guy that works there) is always rude.

I came around 8:20 and on a Friday night. That is the end of the world for young employees. They have a good selection, but seemed to be out of stock (or just didnt want to look...closing time ya know).

Had a decent selection which earned it two stars. However, otherwise not impressed. The older gentleman working there in the beginning was kind but then when we declined help as we walked the store, he gained an attitude and was snippy when we later had questions. Additionally, he was rude to the other employees. The women working there were kind as we checked out. Wont be back, just not worth it when Party City is two mins down the road.

They have pretty much everything you would expect them to have, it just takes forever to find any of it. There is seemingly no method to how the store is set up, and only numbers on the isles - no description of what is in it.

Overall good party store. They dont really have a website. The store is a good size and they carry a lot of different items. I found two of the 3 things I was looking for. I found a good substitute for the third thing. Staff are usually pretty nice.

I was in the store for the first time about 2 weeks ago. The store was clean and the woman who checked us out was very happy and spoke to my two young children. I had a great experience. I did not meet the manager so I cannot comment on the management part of the store.The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was hard to find where things were located - no signs above the rows.

The females here are great... but the Male (older guy) ... who closed tonight... had an attitude - probably prejudice. I came in 8 mins before the store closed at 9:00 to buy some balloons. After he looked me up and down. He had the demeanor as if I owed him something... he huffed and puffed as I paid him. I don’t think I’ll buy from them anymore.

Recently I went to return a few items I didnt ended up using for my daughters Birthday. The older guy doing the refund was extremely rude and unfriendly. His attitude was terrible and acted as if it was inconvenient for him to do a refund. If hes going to behave so miserably he should consider a factory job so he doesnt have to deal with people. I hope he wasnt the manager because this location is going to loose a lot of business.

Amazing it has everything went there for my babys first birthday and found beautiful decoration and gold and teal plates very elegant the only down point is the vareity of cake toppers werent enough. Employees there were very helpful and cheerful they answer your questions no matter how simple they are with a grand smile

Liars and cheats. I spoke with the Manager, Bill, who quoted me a very competitive price for balloon inflation, and told they had themed goods for my kids party. In the store, I was charged double for the balloon inflation and was unable to find any relevant theme items. Waste of time. Go to Party City instead.

Poor customer service. I was told a price to inflate the balloons I brought into the store by one person and when I got to the register I was told a different price. I was also lied to about any balloons purchased in the store being inflated for free. The people inflating the balloons did not handle my balloons with care. I will not be returning to this store.

I went to Party Depot tonight, I will never return. There were several things that made my rating 1 star. Firstly when I asked the sales person where some birthday items were she just looked at me like I was crazy. Then when I went to check out the same girl rang up my items. After I paid I looked at my receipt and realized she charged me for an item I didnt even buy! Well the manager was up front so I brought it to his attention, he just rolled his eyes. So I said thank god I checked my receipt before I left and his response was Hah ya right for $4. As if I should have been OK with them ripping me off for something I didnt even purchase. Dont shop here..just go to party city right up the street. This place doesnt care about its customers and they dont have any real customer service.

I would give it an 0 star rating for the respect I got in the store. Me and two other friends went here to buy her many things for her birthday party. Her party was in 2 hours and we brought 50$ with us. we were checking some part favors then I decided to put ONE scarf on and an hat! The manager that didnt even wear any work cloths on told us we being disrespectful and very rude. He also said that we werent putting stuff back when we were not only cleaning up after up ourselves and leaving it cleaner than we found it but no we got kicked out. Most of the aisles had dust all over it and everything was in the incorrect place. We are young for an grown adult to call us things we didnt do was traumatizing. SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO TO PARTY CITY WHICH IS A FEW MINUTES AWAY INSTEAD OF GOING TO ITS KNOCK OFF VERSION!

Buyer beware. They dont honor prices marked if they are wrong. I was in the store last week to buy a couple tablecloths that were on a hanger with like tablecloths and the price was clearly marked 1.79. When the price came up as 2.99, I notified the clerk, who dutifully got the manager. Even after showing the mismarked peg to the manager which still has more of the same tablecloth on it, he simply removed the price and said they wouldnt honor. I will not shop at at a place that wont honor their prices as marked.

Extremely disappointed. They have a big choice of products, but pls do not rely on their services. Wanted to make a birthday surprise for my son when he wakes up, but the party ballons were empty in the morning, lasting no more than 8 hours. Maybe I should have told them to inflate more the ballons, but I expect these people to know better than me as they work in this industry. Next time will look to other stores
