It was nice but busy, its the place where James meets Maria for lunch and to pay his Consumer Cellular bill that he has in my name. Just being honest. The place was nice for them I suppose.

Honestly the only nail salon I will go too, even after I moved. Patient, sweet, honest staff, (even the few gentlemen) the only down side is the asking of other stuff like gel instead of regular, but thats at every salon. Even then they are not pushy or rude. Love the nail happy hour 100% worth it.

I was having such a great day today..ate some Thai food, went shopping, and thought that I should get my nails done. Well it was great at first, until it was time to pay. I always get the same color CAJUN SHRIMP Which is a regular nail polish. I told the other nail tech if they had that color and to give it to the person is will be doing my nails. When it came to me paying the rude lady with her bootleg fendi pants tells me that my sister and I have to pay an extra $5 for this nail color because it’s a shiny color… UMM IT WAS NOT my mani from 2 weeks ago was more shiny than that nail color. The best part was us getting our toes done and no one telling us that we are going to get extra charged and having a crazy lady yelling at us and throwing a dollar at my sister calling us cheap and saying $5 isn’t anything… okay honey. I don’t recommend this place unless you like getting charged extra and getting verbally assaulted And thanks for discriminating pregnant ladies

Luxe is my favorite salon in the NoVA area. I am exceptionally hard on my nails, even with gel, I regularly end up chipping my polish in under a week. Luxe is the only place I’ve ever been where my polish has regularly lasted 2+ weeks with no chips. Tiffany is my favorite technician, and their online booking system makes it so easy to schedule directly with your favorite tech.

Got my nails done here! I got SNS by Vivi. She was awesome. I highly recommend this place. The staffs are so friendly and nice and really care about their customers.

My friend and I had a great time and the 2 ladies that helped us were really friendly and FANTASTIC. The salon was clean, they checked our temperatures, and took great care of us. I’m only leaving a 4 star review Because went during their “happy hour” but basic mani/pedis weren’t included and they don’t have a LARGE collection of colors (I brought my own so it didn’t bother me, but if I didn’t I prob would’ve just got white).

I have been coming to Luxe for about a year and I love it. I will never go anywhere else. All of the women here have done my nails and they all do amazing work. They have a very large SNS color selection and take their time to get the shape and thickness perfect every time. The SNS never lifts, chips, or peels like at other places. I highly recommend!

I’ve come here many times and am actually a bit picky. I am always very happy with my service and how great my nails look when I leave. Highly recommend!!

Vivi is absolutely amazing. I got acrylic nails put on somewhere else and was really unhappy. She spent a lot of time to re shape the nails and even helped me pick the best color to match my skin. For the first time ever, I made a follow up appointment for a fill because I knew I would be back!

I came in for a last minute appointment and was booked quickly and without issue despite it being a busy day. Chloe paid close attention to my wants (coffin nail with dip powder and accent nail), and I am in love with them. I highly recommend seeing her as she has a keen eye for detail and will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your nails. She was very polite and friendly too! Theyre gorgeous, feel durable, and I got compliments almost immediately walking out the salon. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Please beware. I had a pedicure done this weekend here and while the salon seems aesthetically nice and my tech was polite, I was cut fairly moderately during my appointment. She put alcohol on it and stopped the bleeding and I didn’t think too much of it because accidents happen. However that night I was in pain and by morning had developed signs of infection. I’ve called and left polite messages with no response. I had to see a doctor for antibiotics today so this is not an overreaction. I believe at the very least they could Return my call to check on me. Judging by the reviews I can see refunds are not given (suspicious) so I’ll have to report them to my bank to reverse the charge. I hate leaving bad reviews but no one deserves to PAY for an infection :( Go elsewhere and be careful!

Vivi is just THE BEST!!!I just moved to VA from out of state a few months ago and I was having a hard time finding a reliable technician and I am so lucky now!!! She will make sure you leave looking at your best, and feeling happy. I highly recommend the salon and her without hesitation!! The space is also beautiful and spotless every single time!!!

Average service and average ambiance. They do give you a water bottle and sweet sesame crackers which is a cut above the usual nail salons.The second time I tried to go there, I arrived at 10:05 but they had not opened yet and there was no staff around.The place is new which makes it great but I am not optimistic about how well it will age.

Lina/Lena treated me so well today. My nails came out fantastic, she made my feet feel brand new and I love how well and thoroughly she got my cuticles. The place was clean and pleasant and I had a wonderful time. 100% recommended

Not a great pedicure. The technician seemed in a hurry. I had to ask her to do a couple things that were basic stuff (like cleaning under the nail & removing dead skin that was previously a blister). The polish was sloppy and not smooth nor was it thoroughly removed from the skin around my nails. There are a couple nails missing polish in spots. Also, there is a sign at the register that says there are no refunds on services which makes me think that a lot of people must be asking for a refund?

Been here since it just opened and always have April to do my gel manicure. She is meticulous and extremely friendly, so are the other ladies in there as well. I love that every tools they use are sterilized and they also have linear for each client when they do pedicure. I definitely recommend this place. They will never let you down.

Out of all the nail salons in the area this one definitely stands out the most. Walking into luxe I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean clean, professional & affordable it was. Everything is white & clean looking. None of the technicians were really exchanging conversation, which for a nail salon I found unusual but so nice. My technician really took her time on my gel manicure, even though I was the last appointment of the day. During the pedicure they provided a snack & cute bottle of water. My favorite part was getting my feet scrubbed than having orange slices rubbed all over my feet & legs. The orange slice was such a nice touch & really made for a relaxing & memorable experience. The best part was the gel manicure & a regular pedicure was only $70. Highly recommended this place!!!

I needed a shop to repair a nail, and a polish change. I found Luxe Lounge via Google and based on reviews decided to try it while on lunch break. Upon 1st glance, the ambiance is calm, not too loud,the decor is absolutely beautiful and non traditional like other nail salons. Even the way the polish is displayed looks great abs not too crowded. The set up is great for the area, they are very pricey though and it was unexpected. However, it was worth it. Vivi talks to you, unlike many nail techs, she teaches you about nail care and even allows you to check if you like the color on your nail before she completes it to ensure that you like it. My nails ended up thin which felt like they were natural and they were not heavy at all, not did they have that thick hump that some places do. The shape was perfect and she took precautions to ensure that they looked like what she would request if the tables were turned. Vivi is more than a nail tech... And she takes what she does very seriously, its her passion and it shows.

The welcome was a little lackluster, but they were stretched pretty thin with staff for the number of people there. I got my natural nails shaped up and a gel mani. They came out beautifully. Their weekday happy hour special made it worth it. I also liked the clean, modern interior and very obviously sanitized and packaged tools. Id definitely go back. I just wish I had gotten my persons name - she is the one with purple hair. Efficient and very good at what she does.

Showed up at 2 with Vivi for my scheduled appointment. She wasn’t here. I was told she was at the other salon. No bother to call me and tell me. They told me to come back at 3. It’s 3:30 and finally getting my toes done. For an owner as Vivi you would think she would call the people if something came up. No regard for people time.

This was an awful experience. I got a manicure with full set. There was no manicure. She literally just out the tips on and I was done. This was so terrible. And way over priced. My nails didnt even last. I got Gel. Also the lady was telling at me and told me I was wrong when I asked for a certain shape. She ended up cutting the nail wrong and had to redo three of them. That was not my fault. And she kept saying well I didnt know thats what you meant. Thats not my fault. Absolute worst experience Ive ever had. Been looking for a new nail place since Ive moved. Do not recommend here.

I need to share how much I love this place. The place is very bright and welcoming inside. Rose did my nails and shes amazing that she pays attention to details. They do offer cookies and water. The other staff were extremely nice too. I noticed that they barely talk to each other in their language during work like most others nail salon usually do. I was really impressed by that. Worst customer service I have experienced at a nail salon. I walked in and requested a take off of acrylic and then new set of pink & white. The nail tech proceeds to first try to convince to change to sns (more $ for her) then she proceeds to give me 3 different prices for a new acrylic set after looking at the salon price sheet for awhile first...I explain to her that I came in based on the reviews I saw online and the prices listed on the website, to which she says, oh, well, I take off the bad reviews and the prices aren’t up to date on our website... wow... 😳 First time in my life, that I got up and walked out before she did anything. It was terrible...and then I notice on the way out that they have a sign that reads no refunds on service which tells me they have had a lot of complaints. I advise you save yourself the stress and go to Mint instead. Luxe does not offer the level of customer service expected for Mosaic.

Vivi is the queen! I won’t go to anyone else to get my nails done. Not only is she super talented and thorough, but she’s also wonderfully quick! I get SNS manicures from her and they always last at least 3 weeks. I also get stiletto tips on my nails and she always gets the tips just right and the nails are never too thick. If you’re looking for the nails of your dreams- Vivi is your gal!!

I used to go to mint all the time because it was the only decent place around here or so I thought, they always did a poor job. my nails would pop off every time, I always had cuts around my cuticles. Luxe is a really good place they know what they’re doing. Plus it’s cheaper and worth every penny.

Little pricey but you can book online and they are generally on schedule and do good work

I have never been disappointed coming here. The workmanship and customer service is outstanding. I made a mistake and visited another salon for a SNS because they were close to home and they were $10 less - HUGE mistake. Never again will I do that. CeCe is awesome but I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the technicians. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed

Vivi did an amazing job on my nails! I tried the SNS (powder dip polish) based on her recommendation, and the finished look is much more natural than a full acrylic set. She also ensured I was satisfied with the results as she worked. Highly recommend!

Got a gel manicure that started chipping on multiple nails the next day. By the third day a whole nail peeled off and then the same nail broke the day after. I went to get it redone and asked for an extension on the broken nail to make up for the lost length. They told me it would be $5 for the nail extension and I said fine by me. The extension was much shorter than the rest of my natural nails, but I was like whatever. At the end of the service, they told me the total was $45 for the gel and extension, which didn’t seem fair because it was supposed to be a redo service for gel nails that chipped within a week. My friend and I tried to explain this to them and they chalked the whole thing up to a miscommunication on our end and said that since I got the entire thing redone and in a different color that it was considered a full service (which I had no idea). She said she would charge $25 instead, explained that she needed to charge for at least part of the service because it was considered a full service and not just a touch up for the chipped nails, I said okay fine. Then she said it was $35 and charged my card $35. The whole thing was sheisty AF, do not recommend, never going back

The salon itself is super cute inside and always very peaceful. Vivi is an awesome nail tech and will ask you questions about how you want your nails done and will always check with you to make sure you like them. Love it here!

Very good service just a little pricy. But I guess its worth it cause they are so courteous, serving every client fresh bottled water and these amazing cracker/cookies. They do a nice nail service and they are very friendly.

I have been to this salon twice and both times were alright experiences. The first, I believe the owner of the salon was doing my nails and she kept getting up in the middle of the service and doing other things and made me feel rushed. The second time, I waited a pretty long time and almost left and thats when I was seated. They lack attention to customer service.

With these prices I expect my manicure to last at least a week.. never had last more than 5 days top.. Give it 2 stars just because their girls are great.

The massage for the spa pedicure was great! However, my nails chipped after 3 days... for $50, I would have expected them to last a minimum of 2 weeks. Very disappointed.

I was searching for an alternative to gel nails as I wanted to avoid the UV exposure and heard about SNS or dip polish. I found that Luxe Nail in the Mosaic District offered this service. I made an appointment and received the best polished nails of my life!!! I will never go back to gel nor will I go to any other shop to have my nails done - seriously my nails have never looked or been so healthy.

I only had an hour to get a mani/pedi. I went in at 10:55 and was out by 11:55! This is a clean nail shop and they got me out of there so fast without sacrificing QUALITY! I will definitely be making this my new shop. Tiffany was my tech and she was so warm and took great care of me😊

ViVi is the BEST nail technicians ever! I have been her client for a very long time and would recommend if you want great service to come to her. She does amazing work, great customer service and relaxing environment.

Salon is clean and free of over-adorned aesthetic. Modern and well suited to the manicurists here. Theyre polite and do well. My favorite is Vivi. She once offered to fix my nail on my gel manicure when I mentioned that Id smudged it somehow just after leaving the previous time. When I took her up on her offer the next month after chipping a side right off my index finger, she took me in as walk-in and fixed it free of charge. Shes gracious, professional and does good work. Ill follow her wherever she goes.

The worst experience! After one day of having a gel manicure done it all started coming off. I had to make time to go back to get them redone and they pushed me to get my eyebrows done. The WORST. I have a cut on my eye lid from the poor waxing. Stay away from this place. They dont belong in the Mosaic!

I went last week for the first time. Rose did a fabulous job.

So I came to this salon with my sister trying to surprise her for her bday and I looked up this place and saw it had a 4 star I was like okay they must be good but I was wrong! This was the worst! They rushed the whole time and they couldn’t even make the designs we wanted. My sister got a snowflake and it ended up looking nothing like a snowflake. A 5 year old would’ve done better! And the price was way to high. I won’t be coming back NEVER!!!!

Nails look cute, but she cut my fingers in 3 different places, gave me powder when I asked for regular.

I LOVE this salon, CeCe is the best. I went into the shop 25 mins before closing time and she took her time and made sure my nails were perfect! Even though I was her last customer she treated me like I was her first.

I spent time overseas and well the moral of the story is your language is not secret, honestly the work was good but the way they talked about myself and the other ladies in there was horrible to say the least. I will never go back because the staff should never talk bad even if it’s in your own language because again it’s not a secret language and some of us know the language. Poor display of real customer service .

I rarely have time to get my nails done so when I do I am always excited for a little pampering. Sadly, my experience here wasn’t a good one. The nail technician I had was sloppy and half hearted at every step of the manicure and pedicure. In addition to the pitiful massage, she didn’t do good job filing my nails and as a result they looked lopsided. I left feeling annoyed at the nail tech and annoyed at myself for paying/tipping ahead of time- before seeing the finished product. I don’t recommend this nail salon and will try somewhere else next time.

The first time I came here was to get my mani fixed since I went to another salon and they totally messed it up. Since they did such a great job the first time I decided to go back and give sns a try. I’ve had sns in the past and it will last me about 2-3 weeks. Getting sns done here, it’ll last a month and I probably could go longer if my nails didn’t grow so fast! I highly recommend coming here for sns. I’ve had Rose and Stephanie multiple times and both do a great job. Another thing to note this salon does not have that gross chemical nail polish scent lingering. It’s clean and stylish.

I drive all the way from old town Alexandria to have vivi do my nails here. Her sns manicure lasts 3 weeks at the least. She’s fabulous - make an appointment. This salon is exceptionally clean and perfect if you want to get your nails done before dinner or a movie in merrifield. There’s always easy free parking as well. I highly recommend!

I love this place! I used to be an avid gel-manicuree until I was introduced to SNS about a year ago. Unfortunately I had a hard time finding local salons that had a robust SNS color selection. This place has a lot! I think many salons are realizing the popularity of SNS and are stocking up on their selection, but when it comes to SNS, TECHNIQUE MATTERS! If not applied correctly there can be crinkles, your nails can be super thick and hard to do anything, or they tend to crack or chip earlier. I tried so many salons and only found one good technician, but that salon was far away. And then, magically, I found Vivi! My nails last a whole 4 weeks and don’t even chip before I need to go get them done because they’ve grown out. When Vivi was off one day I saw another technician (don’t remember her name), and she was equally as fantastic!Also, this salon is spacious. I don’t feel claustrophobic as I do when going into other tiny crammed salons. Super bonus, they give you a free bottle of water and a free pack of these super delicious crackers every time you go! Prices are very comparable for the area too.
