Not recommended to rent thru rental zone or Airport equipment rental. Make a rental appointment and discussed pick up and hours. Well they changed hours and sent me the wrong pick up location. The don’t know what location to have customers pick up stuff at. Then they close and blame me for trying to pick up late in a Friday afternoon. Try do discuss issue and he says it was my problem.

This place is ok, but their heavy equipment is old and worn out and poorly maintained. There does not seem to be much accountability when the equipment breaks down or does not perform. This has happened to myself and other friends who have rented here in the past. Ive had much better experiences with Independent Rental.

Helpful. I did spend a lot of time on hold when I called, but once it was my turn to be helped was giving great attention and service. They had the equipment I needed, and helped remedy a problem I caused to the equipment without extra charge. I will be renting here for my next job!

Get equipment rates in writing - was underquoted over the phone. Also be aware that a daily rental only means 8 hours on the equipment meter, regardless of when they deliver or pick up. Equipment was supposed to be delivered on Sat by noon - showed up at 4pm. Had contractor waiting but was still able to get work done. On the plus side - equipment was fairly new and in excellent shape.

While I dont know much about prices for rental equipment and whats a good deal vs a great deal, I do recognize stellar customer service. In fact, I dont even shop around for equipment rental anymore, since I know The Rental Zone has great customer service. Its. Busy place, but the front counter clerk was fast, helpful and knew exactly what I was talking about even if I didnt have the right question in mind. I know I will go back the next time I need equipment.

Very bad rental agency. We made a reservation for a trailer 10 days out. We called to confirm 3 days ahead of the scheduled rental day, and again the day before. Both times we were assured that all was good. We had other equipment rented and paid for as well as hired help to do the job. When we arrived to get said trailer they had rented it the day before to someone else and they hadnt returned it. Rental Zone left us without the promised equipment to complete the job and thousands of dollars was wasted on labor and additional equipment. Dont bother with reservations and only use this company if you like to loose money and get jerked around. This company is a total failure on all fronts.

Be Warned - Equipment rented broke down part way through shift. Upon return was charged for the full day! Rental Zone Management only focused on legal rental contract terms - NOT working with customers and doing what is right. Independent Rental on S. Cushman St. is a much better option.

Reading reviews I see a lot of 1 star responses... Im a general contractor. Summers are busy, they always treat me right and if something breaks or happens to equipment they correct it promptly. They get my repeated service over and over. In actually about to go rent a skid steer today... I know the machine will be maintenanced I know it will have less then 1500 hours on it. Ill be in and out of store in 15 minutes....

This place is awful, their equipment is not taken care of, the customer service is awful, and they will blame you for their poor equipment. We had to get two different machines and both broke down almost instantly. They insisted WE broke them, and did not think we deserved any sort of discount. They did not care that it was a 50 mile trip there and back for us, that we had to make TWICE.

Needing to rent stuff always is a hassle but all my experiences with these folks have been good. Id rather rent from airport rentals/rental zone than from home depot.

Call ahead. The hours of operation listed on their website are not accurate. I havent rented from them yet, so no comment on customer service or quality of equipment.
