Very poor service. They seem really focused on chatting than focusing on customer service. I had to remind them to check other things before they did..Im not sure the right oil was even used. At the end of it all, I was giving the wrong receipts after I saw the guy looked at the receipts for like 10 sec. I dont drive a Honda but a Chevy. Please pay attention guys!

Damian was very helpful. It took forever waiting in line in my vehicle. About 1 1/2 hours waiting. Oil change took 20 minutes. You stay in your car.

Good service but if the line is more than 2 cars deep plan on at least an hour wait.

Fast, dont have to get out of car. Wish the car cam bottom view was higher resolution, though. Its so low quality its almost just like a picture every few seconds. They make sure the top view is crystal clear video, should do the same with the bottom view

30 minute wait at 4pm but the crew kept the long line moving. Great service! Nice to see a female working in a male dominated field.

My experience here was great! Dameon was amazing! And so we’re his other coworkers, usually when I get my oil changed ( at other locations ) it’s a very boring experience, this location had me laughing and smiling on the way out!

Service was acceptable but they failed to secure my oil drain cover plate causing it to break off.

The tech showed me the oil on the dipstick and dripped 2 drops of oil on my door. The tech looked down acknowledging the drips and did nothing about it. Not a big deal, but still..

Very friendly staff but that means nothing when they spill a gross amount of oil in the engine bay and make zero effort to clean it up. End result is my wife and kids in a car that is profusely smoking.Edit: while cleaning all the oil out of the engine bay I found the oil cap was not even screwed on!! Just perched on top sitting there. Unbelievable.

I went to do an oil change on my 2014 elantra, and they did not place the protective plastic on the engine correctly, it came off and everything was damaged, I think the technicians need much more training

Expensive no receipt slow service.

Worst experience ever! Will no longer be bringing my cars to this location. Terrible service, they slammed my vehicles hood so hard that it broke shut and no longer opened and they refused to fix it claiming “it wouldn’t open before I got an oil change” ? Then how would I have got it changed without opening the hood? The manager continued to make things worse as he dented the vehicles hood and covered it in oil that his hands were covered in. It was only a couple months that I got a fresh paint job.

Staffs gives you a warm welcome and are friendly. Service is super fast.

Ive only went to this location twice and both times it was very slow experience. There was nothing Instant about it. Wait time estimates were way off. Previously, my estimated wait time was 11 minutes, actual time was over an hour - had i not been blocked in by cars waiting behind me, I would have left after 40 minutes. With that said, the staff were friendly and seemed knowledgeable... just really slow both times I went. Ill be going to other oil change locations / businesses in the future.

I can tell that this place would be a great location to go to during normal times although the wait was over an hour long. The staff were efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. But only one technician was wearing his mask properly and I overheard them tell another customer he could even take it off. I’m not sure what valvoline’s policies are but this made me uncomfortable so just an FYI if this would bother someone else.

Pretty sad when you go into a place of business that advertises being able to do the oil changes on vehicles but when you get there they try to up-sell you to a synthetic motor oil that youre not going to be able to keep in the engine for more than 5,000 miles anyways but at $200 and oil change thats a little ridiculous oh and the other the other reason they didnt try to give me that this synthetic if thats all they carry for my vehicle no I dont have a brand new vehicle Ive got an 09 F-250 they dont carry 1540 they dont carry 10 w30 they dont carry 5w 30 Ben has a diesel rating so I will never ever go back to rapid oil change again

Excellent place to bring your truck. I had my oil changed and battery replaced. The manager and team worked extremely hard to get the battery out and the new battery in my older Colorado. Changed light bulb and I am ready to tackle the SNOW.

Very rude came at 6:30 but would not help me were very lazy and said because its close to 7:00 they cannot take me they say they close at 7:00 so they should take customers at that time very frustrating

There are closer valvoline instant oil change locations near me but I prefer this one. These guys are always fast, knowledgeable and honest. Its hard to find people you can trust. Great guys.

I wanted a full synthetic oil change the cost was over $90 for 4 1/2 quarts of oil. On the high side its 5 dollars for a quart of oil at a Napa or whatever. My Calculation would be $22.50 for 4 1/2 quarts of oil throw in a 10 dollar oil filter and a 5 dollar disposal fee and your total is $37.50 so they charge you roughly $60 more just to change your oil. What a rip off in my opinion!!I found out Walmart dose it for $44 dollars.

Its usually pretty busy to get in at any instant oil change facility. I came early in the morning on a Saturday and got right in. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Speedy service and took care of everything I needed. Great customer service.

Had to get my 1st ever European Synthetic Oil change. My go to location had just use earlier the last oil filter for my Mini but they called around and found the location that could And did my change! Valvoline kept my Junky Judy going till her last days and they will continue to be the spot I go to for my new Shiny.

The Manager. Sean (3/2/20) was awesome. I have a 2013 Ford Escapee that had an Interstate battery that needed to be replaced. Had been trying to so for months with no success because of the removal process. Sean did not turn me away. He had a young crew working with him who he was teaching at the same time. Explained everything that he was doing and did not give up. I was desperate not only because Valoline stopped selling Interstate but because I had to get a jump from another Valvoline to get there. Sean also has a great sense of humor and can defuse a situation quickly. Yes I was observing. Thank you Sean and Crew

I love my car. Im a 40s something guy who considers himself a shade tree mechanic and an automobile enthusiast. I used to do most of the maintenance on my own vehicles, and changing fluids and filters are not particularly challenging for me.That being said, I am rather particular about what happens to my vehicle. Due to current physical limitations, I decided to get services done elsewhere. My first thought was to go to the dealership as they have trained factory technicians, but decided last minute against this as all I really wanted was an oil change and cabin filter replacement.Going to Valvoline just sort of happened, as I had no particular service center in mind. I literally just drove around and saw them and decided that this will do.Professionals worked on my car, and I use the word as intended and not one I just throw around. It is the little details, the small things that the average person would not notice, that make the impact.From initial greeting to the actual maintenance to departure, every step and process was done with a desire to do it well. At no point did I feel that steps were skipped, and was I paying attention.Couple the above with the feel of the place, the attitude of the employees and manager (who worked on my car and had a complete understanding of what he was doing), I have to say I actually had a decent experience.I will definitely be returning for future services as well as recommending to my friends and family.Five stars fully deserved.

Came in after another location messed up my vechile.. Staff was concerned about my frustration about another location.. he took a picture of the issue for me and sent it to me. Unfortunately since that location wasnt the one that messed up my vechile he said I would have to go back to the Fridley location for them to fix the issue... needless to say the Fridley location refused to fix it and said just by coincidence that this happened... Nothing against the Brooklyn park location but i will never go to them for an oil change again or for anything for that matter. And if i did it would be the Brooklyn Park location and never ever the Fridley.

Lord, those guys are fun! Wouldnt normally think getting an oil change would be fun, but it is here!

I always visit this location they have a great service for my car & good customer servicebut today I experience something different, unprofessional way of customer service The guy who did my car when he start charging me, I pulled my card out early before the charge process complete by accident, and he got mad right away, and through Card Reader far of his hands, and yell at me here we go we have to do it again he has no Bashan at all, this happen in 3:43 pm January /10/2021 .

Love valvoline. The price has gone up over the years, but I would gladly pay however much for the speedy, polite, and honest service. I go here for all fluids. Finding a trustworthy place to work on your car can be very hard. Look no further, this is that spot. Try to find coupons online to make the experience even that much better! Highly recommend.

Long wait time, but great service.

I called in a complaint today about Valvoline after pulling off on the side of the road once I heard a grinding noise under my car. Upon inspection (On the side of the road) it was obvious the undercarriage of my car was not properly fastened and was grinding in the road. I also found a wrench That matched the screw that was not properly fastened. so I thought I had good reason to be upset with that last place that would have touched that part of my car (Valvoline). I went to the location that I thought made the mistake. When I got there and showed them the wrench I found they politely informed me that they did not use that brand and that they would have never touched that specific screw/part of the undercarriage. They were nice enough to bring me under the car and educated/show me what had happened (and that it wasn’t their mistake). I started off quite frustrated, but then realize it was the original owner of the car who made a mistake that only came to surface (not so conveniently) after an oil change. Thanks Valvoline for great customer service and being so willing to explain a difficult and frustrating situation. 5/5.

Great crew, I kept them there for an extra 1/2 hour past close and they had no complaints.

Shawn is awful. I used to come regularly for oil changes here and the last 2 times were awful due to a worker named Shawn. He is loud and rude. Today I went for an oil change and he directly me to drive forward, I was trying ro turn my wheel and because he is so loud and demanding I ended up driving in between the ramp where there is a net. This is not my first bad experience with this guy. Even when I pulled up I was dreading my oil change. I hope no one else has to deal with this passive aggressive worker.I will no longer come for oil changes here and will let others know how unprofessional and lack of quality this place is.

The service here is always very quick. If you just need an oil change and to get in and out quick this is definitely the place. The staff has always been very helpful. They are knowledgeable in what they do. They are also friendly and chatty which I definitely appreciate a lot. Its nice to be able to just sit in your car while the work gets done. Definitely a plus in my book. There is always a coupon for this place so make sure to check online. The prices are fair. Its in a great location just off University off 694. Sometimes if there is a line of cars its great to drive thru one of the near by restaurant real quick. But if youre looking to avoid waiting in a line that shouldnt be a problem since they have times when they are slow and youre the only on there. I love that I dont need to make an appointment like a lot of other places. Just pull up to the doors and drive your car in. I already mentioned coupons buy another perk to keep coming back is that after so many visits you can get a free oil change. That deal pops up once in awhile as well. Ive never had a problem and will continue to bring my car here.

The app said there was a 0 minute wait. I went there to fine 6 cars ahead of me. I checked the app again and it still claimed a 0 minute wait. I then proceeded to Jiffy Lube for a much better experience.

Worst Valvoline I have ever been to, the wait has literally been an hour and they have gotten one car done. They tell us to back up and go back and fourth between the 2 bay doors. Trash service at its finest!Update: 6 months later I decided to come here again and see if there is any difference and have now been waiting an hour and still have a 2 cars in front of me, extremely slow. They are averaging about 35 40 minutes a person

Staff here is always helpful and friendly. I like that they talk through what theyre doing and just give you the facts about how your vehicle is doing, without and kind of trickery or manipulation. Good people and good service; I keep going back.

Changed my tire pressure lower than what I wanted it at without notice. Wish they would have told me or asked prior. Otherwise, about a 20 minute wait. Usually just wait in the car or walk around. Not really a waiting area in building. Paying for convenience.

I went to two different Valvoline Instant Oil Change stations and neither of them had a grease gun to grease my zerk fittings. What kind of a place that does Lube oil and filter jobs not have a grease gun?

First time at a valvoline. Friendly, knowledgeable people. Fast, seemed honest! As they were checking filters, found that my cabin filter was disgusting!!! While all others were new. Thanks sooooo much!!! Because me and my child were coughing a lot in our car lately. Not knowing why. So glad I went in here today!!! Will for sure return!

Only 2 technician working on 2 cara at the same time

I thought the oil change went fine, I was charged 100 dollars which I thought was a little to high, but didnt think to much of it. When I got home I checked the invoice. The invoice stated 92.92, which was not the 100 i paid. Additionally i was charged $25 for a replacement air filter which I watched them take out of my car, look at it and put it right back. No replacement was made. Nor was i told or asked about a replacement air filter. Finally I looked at my air filter and I saw that the screws for my air filter were stripped. Very annoying to remove now. First time at this location, waited a long minute, Definitely NOT returning. 1/8/2019

Fast and efficient. Thats why I go to Valvoline in the first place. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient, and not pushy. If you say no to something, they move on to the next thing with a smile. Ive been to a few Valvolines in my time and Id rate those at maybe 2 stars. This one gets 5 for customer service, quality of work, and ease of experience. Ive never waited more than 10 minutes and never been in there for more than a half hour. I recommend this place if you are looking for a quick pit stop.

Good Customer Service

This is the only (non dealership) place I get my oil changed. Absolutely phenomenal service. Theyre friendly, theyre fast and it genuinely seems like the guys are having a good time. Also, the manager showed me how to change my air filter (basically my glove compartment) so I can do it myself. Love this local.

This is the only location I come to because at one point the customer service was awesome although this Fridley location is not the closest nor most convenient . But after today I will never come here again. It seems after Leo left so did the customer service .
