My mom and I started coming here a few months ago after being disappointed by our previous salon over and over again. I was looking for a nail tech who could perfect the shape I was asking for. Previously, everywhere I went my nails were square/boxy/unflattering. But I love Perfection! Peter does my nails and my mom’s nails, he’s so quick but doesn’t make you feel like he is in rush. In and out, great prices. I love it here. For context, I asked Peter to replicate a design I liked (but with paint instead of gemstones). He nailed it!! This was exactly what I wanted. I recommend to everyone looking for a new, affordable salon.

I heard mixed reviews before going here for the first time yesterday (06/08/2021). I had a specific design in mind (I wanted cow pattern), and knew what colors I wanted. I am VERY picky about my nails as far as polish and shape goes. I dont like lumpy gel polish or sloppy shape. I had my nails done by Kathy, who listened to everything I asked for. She gave me the perfect coffin shape and didnt make my nails too thick at all, every nail is the same shape and length. The only issue I had was that their prices are not listed so the nail tech names their own price. I had an acrylic full set with gel polish and designs and the price was very low, but Ive read reviews of people who received much less than me but were charged way more than I was. So just be careful or ask ahead of time how much the service will cost. (I have a cut on my finger in the pictures that I got before the appointment- not related!)

100% I would recommend Perfection Nails!! I went there to have my first ever set of tips done. My nail tech Peter was so nice to me and gave me exactly what I wanted! Go and you wont be disappointed.

Uv nails were nice gel pedicure was ok no massage. Waxed half legs the they left hair the price board said 20 for lower leg she changed me 30 design on nail said 5 they charged 15. Won’t return

The place is nice and everything but the lady that did my pedi barely worked on it, I left with nice toe nails but the rest of my feet were like no one touched them… I think is important for them to understand that some feet need more work to b done ! She asked too many times if I wanted gel to charge more 🙄

Went here on a recommendation from a friend and Andy didnt disappoint at all! He was beyond gentle and made sure not to over buff my nails like most techs do. My nails came out absolutely perfect and he was super efficient and neat.

Very disappointing! I came in here on 5/3/21 at 10 am first customer for the first time for a gel manicure and I left beyond unsatisfied . I had polished all over my hands and the gel polish was thick looking and bubbly. The older lady that did my manicure just kept on saying “ ok “ every time I would tell her nicely they look too thick before drying and afterwards she kept on ignoring what I was saying and laughing to another man that had walked in . I asked her to clean my cuticles and she seemed annoyed. I left unhappy and will never go back to this salon again.

I left this place in tears and was completely disappointed. I have polish all over my hands and the skin around my nails is peeling. I went here because i have seen michael’s work on social media. Unfortunately he was unable to see me and this other lady (who was completely uninterested in listening to me and what i wanted) did my nails. Ugly is an understatement when it comes to describing her work. I will not be coming back and i urge others not to waste your money here !

I went today for the second time this week... couple days ago i called hours ahead of time to make an appointment to get acrylics done. i showed up on time and gave them my name. they had me waiting an hour while letting other girls walk in and get theirs done before me. i was so confused because they hadnt made appointments, and i went up to the people working multiple times to tell them and they just told me to hold on and keep waiting. after an hour i just got up and left and they yelled at me to not leave... but waiting an hour just to sit in the chair? i felt really disrespected. today i came again because i thought id give them another chance. same thing happened. i even called and they took my name and then when i hung up they called back and asked if i could come sooner, so i did. still when i got here they had me waiting 45 mins while other girls walked in and got helped before me. idk why this happened, but i just feel rlly disrespected and disappointed and honestly just sad that i wasted my time and was ignored. wont be coming back here ever. think im gonna cry now

Love my nails!!! They are affordable, would highly recommend coming here. They are very good and very on top of keeping the place clean.

So i came here one monday early in the morning for a regular gel mani which i needed because my real nail lady wasnt available. First and foremost, the nail tech did not wash her tools, i was more upset at myself that i let her use them on me. The color was perfect in which i ordered for myself to take it to my nail lady. Ladies just make sure you see them clenaing the tools they will use on you. It wasnt a good job overall tbh.

I have been going here for years and despite the fact that I never asked for much, I was always taken in late, treated with disrespect, and was rough handled. I tried to give the gentleman Andy the benefit of the doubt because I’m hopeful people can change their energy and attitude towards you if you are warm towards them and don’t react (and I understand this as a mental health professional). I noticed that he had his favorite clients and telling by his Instagram posts, he would customize designs and nails for these clients. When I would try to show him a design I liked, he would rush through it and/or not put as much detail or thought into it. This last visit to no surprise I was insulted, told that I was too tense although I am used to him cutting into my skin with the utensils and I explained to him that it’s due to his negligence. He also tried to convince me that a darker color would look nicer and then smirked saying “oh you like that,” mind you this wasn’t the first time I was questioned for a service I asked for. Whenever I leave here there is residue stuck to my skin that takes days to wash it off. They also do not put any oils on your cuticles, push them back or try to maintain your nails as any good nail salon does. I forgot to mention that I have also been told to not come in a few times over Instagram direct messenger as he took my messages as attitude when multiple times all I did is tell him he wasn’t mindful of my schedule (taking me in late) but then If I was late by five minutes he would become upset and aggressive with me. I also witnessed a client getting upset in person one time I was in the salon and her concerns were similar to mine (rudeness, mockery, patronizing, etc.). I am glad to see the bad reviews because I have tried to be patient, but I will no longer be coming back and I advise you don’t either. A nail salon is meant to be a relaxing and therapeutic experience.

Im so glad I found this nail salon! Little to no wait as long as you call ahead and make an appointment. I told the gentleman what I wanted and my nails came out perfect. Im a customer for life!Edit: I stopped going to this nail salon. They take your patronage for granted. I went to the same guy consistently for months. After a while he wouldn’t be careful and was sloppy.. rushing to get to the next person even though I made an appointment. I’d specifically ask for a matte finish and he’d do shiny. I asked for pointy, he’d round my nails. You can find a more friendly and caring nail place.

Worst place I ever been to in my life for a Gel Pedicure. The older lady did a Horrible job. She cut up my cuticles on three toes and made me bleed. The gel work was so amateur and done poorly. I would never come back to this place ever again. First and last time.

This is my favorite nail salon hands down. I go to an older lady who goes by Sally, but when she’s not there so far everyone has done a great job. The stylists are very accommodating and help you out when you really don’t know what you want. But if you walk in with an idea, they’ve got you covered. Best gel manicure in the area.

Yesterday was my first time coming here and i loved it. If you come here, book an appointment with Michael. Normally at other nail salons I would have to say can you make it skinnier or fix the shape, with Michael all I had to tell him was what length I wanted because he already knew what to do. He knows what he is doing and he cares about his clients. You wont regret going there!

Great when there isn’t a wait

My sister and I just got regular gel acrylics no design or anything and the total somehow came down to $88! Its overpriced honestly not worth it.

I usually come here and get my acrylics done with one of the guys, never the women... But this time I came in for a gel manicure since I have been trying to get my nails to breath a little. When I told the man I needed a gel mani, he pointed me to one of the girls and I already knew I was in trouble but I decided to give her a chance since I am a cosmetologist and I know how it feels to be doubted. It took almost 15 minutes to get regular gel polish off (when it normally only takes a good 5 with the machine. While removing the gel, both parties (one of the men and the woman) were looking at my nails and laughing for who knows what reason. The man continued to talk to me and tell me that my nails were too long for a gel manicure and they would break and instead of recommending something else, he took me from the woman’s chair and was basically forcing me to get the manicure. I decided to switch to a full set because i was going to pay the same price either way.. After he moved me to yet another station, he began to talk to another employees about me wanting to get tips instead of gel (as if it were a problem). The woman who did my nails left glue and acrylic stuck to my skin. She kept hurting me with the machine, painfully stuck her nails under mine to get the massive amounts of acrylic out, and at the end of the service, no lotion was applied and yet i still had acrylic and nail glue all over my fingers. Never have I received bad service. EVER.

I don’t recommend this place because i have been here 3 times and they always seem to choose the people they know over new customers. I’m always waiting 30minutes and more. I noticed that others just walk in and they are already being taken care off. I tried calling ahead it doesn’t help at all. So don’t waste your time coming to this place .

Not the place I would go to a second time!

The last three times I visited this place have been absolutely ridiculous. The latest, I scheduled a 4:30 PM appointment for this afternoon and I waited for over an hour and still was not taken. I spoke to two different people and told them I had a 4:30 appointment yet other people with later appointments were still taken prior to me. The other two times were bad manicure (one acrylic manicure and and one gel manicure) I’m talking painting over cuticles, cuticles cut too deep, and just sloppy work. Can’t believe I tried to come back so many times. I’m so done with this place, please don’t make the mistake of going here. I feel bad because some of the technicians are really nice but the overall quality of service outweighs that.

TERRIBLE. If I could give zero starts I would. Called ahead of time yesterday to book a 5:30 appointment and person on the phone was ready to hang up without even getting my name yet so I knew it wasn’t about to be professional. I come in for 5:30 along with FIVE other people they booked for the same time. Long story short ended up waiting 45 minutes. I got up and told one of the ladies who just so happened to walk up to the front to place something on the counter. EXTREMELY RUDE had nothing to say when I told her I had been waiting for almost an hour at this point. SERVICE SUCKS they don’t pay anyone any mind if they are busy and it seems they don’t even have a lot of staff. I will be returning to my regular salon and told many other people I know NEVER to come here. Im glad there are several horrible ratings as this is what the unorganized and UNPROFESSIONAL staff here deserves!!! Please do not waste your time.

Pedicures are goodBut refills especially for long nails are atrocious the fill was bumpy I had to ask to file and half my nail was polished a very sloppy job. If you like pointed nails this shop is for you. I asked to keep my natural shape which is square they filed the sides and just squared the top of my nails. Thank goodness my nails grow quickly

Everyone is super rude, i didn’t like my nail color asked them to change it, didn’t mind paying for it until the guy is sitting here being rude about it. I showed them a picture of what i wanted came out completely different, i didn’t like it at all so there shouldn’t be any reason not to change it . Guy told me it was my fault coming at me when though I’m paying extra for changing colors . It’s disgusting how disrespectful they are. Never going back and do not recommend.

Michael only cares about his clients and everyone else is forgotten. Came in today to get a pedicure and waited for a half hour and wouldve been more if I had not just walked out. A thank you for your patience wouldve been fine as they do get busy. However, I was turned a blind eye once mikes clientel walk in.

Went to do a regular French around 30 minutes before closing and they got mad i came late but they did not do it right. They put a pink on my nails and not the light clear pink and they made the line so thick. I got really mad so i am going back to see if they will fix it cause it’s really embarrassing

The workers here are absolutely rude and vile. You would be lucky if you manage to get one of the guys that are always booked and the women don’t help either. Extremely rude and complain if you ask for certain styling or color change and then have to nerve to charge you extra all the time. They mock you and are constantly speaking down during the time of your appointment. And charge $10 to take off nails which is completely ridiculous especially when they don’t put a clear coat or buff them properly. Do not waste your hard earned money definitely not worth the rude experience. If I could give no stars I would!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is HORRIBLE. I used to love going here when I booked appointments two weeks in advanced with the guys there. Sometimes even completely reading ands ignoring my dms. Even then they gave me many problems such as mocking me, judging me etc. They treat you with complete disrespect. The wait is RIDICULOUS.(over an hour) they only care about top clients with appointments. Last time I went I was forced to go to one of the new guys. I was in a rush because I had plans afterwards. This guy took over 2 hours! Just to do a full set. My nails were burning underneath. I couldnt take it so a week later I go to a different nail salon to take off my full set I just paid for. MY NAIL WAS BLACK AND INFECTED. This place is filthy to the point where my nail got infected and had to take time to heal. I am highly disappointed in their service and I will NEVER go back.

Very busy. They do a great job on acrylics, not so clean

This was my first time getting acrylics and the lady who I got my nails done by did a bad job. When putting the tips on I told her that one was slightly off but she didn’t listen and it came out slanted and wrong. I felt like she rushed my nails even though it wasn’t busy. Overall, she did a terrible job for such a simple nail set and she wasn’t that polite as well.

This place has gone down hill. Only Michael knows what he’s doing but he’s always booked. Try another place in the area. Theyre many nail salons on the broadway strip.

Went in to fix one nail, usually takes 5 minutes in other places but here i sat there for an hour! For one nail and when I asked how much longer i was told 15 when that time passed and they took about 10 people that came in after in i walked out and no one care . Terrible customer service. I’ve tried numerous of times on a weekly basis to contact Mr Michael from this place because supposedly you can’t call the place and make an appt so I reached out via Instagram, and of course every time his response is I’m booked see any staff!! Like what??? I wanted to make an appt with You i don’t know what his or anyone’s problem is but I guess they don’t want business. Additionally, in the past I’ve sent an ATTORNEY there that I knew and she came to me and said ughh that place is a disgrace so moral of the story SAVE YOURSELF DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!PS...... check out how many one star ratings there are.... smh

I called to make sure there was no wait and they told me there wasnt, when I showed up 2 minutes later there was about 10 people ahead of me. They then told me they could start my pedicure in 5 minutes, sat me in a pedicure chair, and didnt take me until an hour later.

Great variety of colors but unlike the place I usually visit there was no massage or lotion applied to my hands. Its the little things...

I have never been so embarrassed and hurt in my life I come here regularly today I went in and I was in a bit of a rush so I asked if they would be able to do a pedi and mani within an hour which obviously would mean theyre doing both at the same time. the gentlemen at the far right who I spoke to said sure go ahead and start the pedicure. as the ladies reached completion of my pedicure I asked them who was going to do my nails since time was running so short I could just do a polish change neither really spoke English so asked them to find someone who could all I got back was laughing and head nodding and they continued I spoke a little louder to address the other workers and then the gentleman I initially spoke to came over I asked him who would do my hands since no one had come over he said we cant do the manicure at the pedicure station to which I responded then why would you say you could finish me in an hour no response all he said was we cant so come back later I looked down as he was walking away and the lady proceeded to put the wrong color on I asked him could you tell her its wrong he kept walking and sat down ignoring me and I again tried to communicate and tell her the color was incorrect I repeated it over and over asked the man to come translate he continued to ignore me after I raised my voice at this point the gentleman I initially spoke to came back over and said and I quote Im not being racist but if you dont want to pay we wont finish and you can leave youre causing a lot of problems we wont finish just leave since you have to be somewhere go I was frustrated at this point and that was a hard blow for me to be racially profiled in such a manner especially when Im a regular customer and have never had any issue the lady somehow figured out what I was trying to say and got me the right color I told them ok Ill just finish it myself and in trying to keep my composure because at this point my blood was boiling I began to cry the ladies felt bad and finished up the pedicure I paid and left a generous tip I later returned to address the man as he was smoking outside and told him blatantly that while he may think that because Im black and had an issue with services being provided that I was just trying to get out of paying the way he addressed me and embarrassed me was unnecessary and disgusting all he had to say was we cant do that in that amount of time and I wouldve come back later simple and instead I was attacked he said nothing more than Im sorry and while I appreciate his acknowledgement that he was wrong I feel wounded as an Afro Latina woman with some stereotypical Hispanic/Europeanesque features I havent personally dealt with too much by way of blatant racist attacks/profiling ignorance and quiet racism of course this is America but rarely have I had to deal with full blown in your face I think this because of the color of your skin racism and I didnt think that I would experience that in a place I regularly frequent and pay well over $100 per visit since I like all the bells and whistles I am hurt and feel very shaken and sad that because I appear to be African American you would ignore me until I get loud and then proceed to not listen to what Im saying only how loud I sound disregarding how many times I asked quietly and was ignored I never cursed or became Irate i simply tried to be heard in a silent room where my voice was apparently still not loud enough to be heard I tried to communicate with people who speak a language I do not as my grandmother did when she arrived here 50 years ago its unfortunate that this would be the result for the European looking women in the room at the time instead of staring next time just take it upon yourself to reiterate what a person of color is trying to say because more often than not your voices and the words coming out of your mouth are heard while ours are ignored and twisted to be used against us..their quality has always been suberb in my experience their interpersonal skills and customer service however clearly need work

Got my nails done there for a simple refill from one lady who’s all the way in the back and I had a hair stuck to one of nails I asked kindly if she can get it out and she gave me an attitude and treated me in disgust I would only go here if you book with Michael.
