I went to get gel nails done with a specific design, and I understand that I cannot expect to get exactly what I see in the picture, but what I received was just unacceptable. The design was incomparable and the gel polish itself was lumpy and poorly done. When I showed the nail tech what I wanted to get, she said she would be able to do it, but what I got was just ridiculous and of horrible quality. Not once did she try to fix her mistakes in the entire process, it was just a one stroke and done. She seemed to be in a rush the whole time. In the process of getting the design, I realized how bad they were coming out and so I asked her to remove the design, and she snapped at me saying I am asking for too much and that I am being difficult. I was polite and nice my entire time there, and I still paid and tipped well even though I did not like the quality of the polish at all. On top of the poor design, I left realizing there was a hair stuck in my nails. The service was of poor quality, unprofessional in behavior and just saddening overall as this was my first time getting my nails done in almost two years since before the beginning of the pandemic. I do not recommend this place. On top of the poor polish, I was not serviced at my time of appointment and had to wait over 30 minutes before I was helped in any way.

It was obvious that the nail supplies were not clean. When I asked to soak off my old gel manicure, the nail tech first tried to pick it off with a fake acrylic nail….when I asked to instead soak off he gave me attitude from then on. He also wiped my hands with acetone to get the excess nail polish off from soaking my nails. I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse manicure experience.

The lady who took care of me was too busy worrying about other clients instead of giving me her full undivided attention. My pedicure was literally less than 10 minutes. And the gel manicure maybe a little longer. Just trying to get it over with to take the next person. I was told I shouldve waited for Sonny. All well. Too late.

Sonny did a great job on my short acrylic set. He was very patient with me since I took a while to decide and also kept getting phone calls. The one off thing is that I did not get a hand massage or a back rub. I usually do in NY. Maybe NJ doesnt do that.

My nails looked okay at first, but within a week all of my nails fell off! much of my natural nail came off, and my fingers hurt a lot. I don’t recommend this place. go spend your money elsewhere.

So my wife went over their for the first and last time the other day. They were scrapping my wife feet and cut her so bad she need to have the bottom of her toe glued back together. I understand that accidents happen but they never apologized or offered a gesture to make it right, she would have been happy with sorry. Not a place that cares about its customers.

I tried to make an appt with emma based on someone recommendation online. when i called, at first she told me she wasnt available. Then she told me she just doesnt like taking new clients because some people dont she up. However, she agreed to see me for an appt. Already, I was offended by her words on the phone. When i showed up on time, Emma had a client and looked like she just started the manicure. She asked me to wait 20 minutes. This was very unprofessional and I told her I would rather not as i came on time and left. Id rather spend my money elsewhere and find a nail tech with a more customer friendly outlook.

After coming to this salon for years, I am disgusted by the lack of customer service! I went to get a refill, they charged me $65 and not even a week later my nails started breaking, I went to get them fixed, Tally told me to come the next day, ok NP. i went the next day only for them to tell me I had to pay to have a new set done, when I JUST GOT A REFILL NOT EVEN A WEEK AGO! N they refused to fix my nails! The material they use is awful n causes the nails to break.. I am so disappointed that after paying $65 n 4 days later my nails break n they refused to do anything to make it right! Not even fix it! I wont recommend anyone come here! Theyre customer service is the WORSE!

I traveled all the way from the city to do my nails with emma, because i was 3 minutes late she told me that she couldn’t sit around and wait for me. Which is understandable I guess?? but there is a correct and respectful way to speak to a Customer. This is not the first time it happens. She is one of the rudest human beings I have ever met. She has is not professional at all. Although her work quality is amazing her attitude suck. It is unfortunate but today will be my last time going there.

I was taken without an appointment within 10 minutes after walking in. Everyone was polite and friendly. Emma did my nails and she gave me exactly what I asked for, my nails look great! I had a pedicure also, by a different person, she was gentle and she paid attention to detail. I miss the prolonged massages I seem to be able to get elsewhere, but considering this price was lower than everywhere else, I have no complaints.

First time here, I had high expectations and they were met....I love my nails. 💅My lady was super nice and very friendly, she is the one with the flower tattoo on her left forearm. The whole place was just very well kept and very friendly. And very affordable prices!!! Definitely will come back here again.🙂

My go to! I already loved the place due to the clean and comfortable setting but went in yesterday with a time limit and had to get my toes and nails done... Let me just say Ken is amazing😍.. I told him a time I had to leave and he went above and beyond..Definitely recommend but please keep in mind this was early Friday before busy hrs. They do their best all the time and my suggestion is make your appts if you are going during their common busy hrs.

I’ve frequent this place because of Tally since they opened. The last few appointments have had me looking for a new nail place. Once my nails were not only shaped incorrectly, they were entirely too thin and was breaking off by the next day. Next visit I was to visit Tally. She had a 3:00pm appointment. After sitting for almost two hours, after her 3pm appointment and two other customers I’m now getting seen. By someone other than who I SPECIFICALLY request for my nails. Again, they were poorly shaped and I was late for work due to another unsatisfied nail job.

I called just 10 minutes ago to make 2 appointments. One with Taly and one with Emma. However, I was told that Emma didn’t want an appointment with me, she’s busy. I asked if she was busy for the entire week and the woman over the phone said yes. She didn’t even know who I was. That was so shocking and rude. There were no questions about my name in particular or if I’d visited before, mind you. My daughter called back to cancel because this was her recommendation. She was also surprised that when she mentioned how she didn’t like how her mother was being talked to, the man said “okay” and confirmed which dates. That was all. Honestly, nail salons come a dime a dozen. There are too many out there to settle for bad attitudes when you’re a paying customer. Just as a reminder to the owner and/or employees reading, your customers put food on your table, the rent for your shop, and the supplies for your establishment. I’d rather go back to paying $80+ for gel extensions. They never disappoint and know their customers’ worth. Never going back here. Readers can contact me for recommendations to other salons.

I took my friend to this place for the first time and this women named Emma did her nails. The experience was horrible. It was my friend’s second time getting acrylics and she obviously had some questions about it but Emma was being extremely rude to her, acting like she was stupid because she was asking simple questions about the nails she wanted to get. She kept giving me and my friend attitude about simple things, she didn’t have patience for anyone or anything. She also did my friend’s nails in a rush and she was talking to other workers on a loud pitch while she was doing her work which was extremely disrespectful and rude. We didn’t pay $50 just to get that service and we’re extremely unhappy about this experience. When I told her that she was being rude to her costumers which is TOTALLY not okay, she almost yelled at me in front of everyone else and didn’t even let me finish my sentence. I don’t really know about other workers but this Emma lady needs to get her things together and learn that she is not doing what she is doing for free. People pay them up to $60 and this is what we get? Even if you go to this nail salon, ask for someone else, not Emma.

THE WORST manicure/pedicure I have every endured..I am 44 yrs old and I go for mani/pedi every 2 weeks..We just moved to the area a month ago..the nail salon I just started visiting was super busy so I tried this place..all my cuticles are red and irriitated..The girl started cutting my cuticle before j soaked my toes and I had to say something to her..Then she started on my hands and cuticles without soaking my hands..Then the employee working next to us and my techstarted talking poorly about a customer that just made an appt..I cant stress how unprofessional they are here. And I truly believe the girl working on my nails was Not licensed...

Unlike the chain of nail places up and down Broadway, Luxury Nails is VERY clean, large selection of colors, you are greated as soon as you walk in the door with smiles, they do a great job everytime and truly care that you are more than satisfied. I love the way they remember your name and help you pick out colors if needed. I personally ask for Sunny and love the way his wife waxes. If you want a great nail experience, i highly recommend going here.

I was like hold on excuse me u just told me to wait and I will b serviced and she told me I can leave and a guy stood behind me forcing me out the door .I would not recommend BLACK FEMALES TO GO TO THIS SALON! The worst nail salon w the worst employees, this lady named emma did my nails and she couldnt be more rude. It was my 2nd time getting acrylics and was kinda unsure ab what i wanted so i had do ask some questions to not end up w something i wouldnt like. But she didnt properly answer my questions and did shout at me instead. Also she wouldnt for a second shut her mouth and stop loudly talking to other workers. She was also very careless ab my nails, did them ugly asl. I was sooooo annoyed, I DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. go get ur nails done here if u wanna get yelled at and have the worst looking nails ever. Pedicures here are great--the polish they use is long lasting and very affordable and clean.Manicure experience is a different story however. My nail tech Taly commented on how grown out my nails were and actually showed another client and laughed. Its my time & money, and she needs to refrain from the rude commentary and just do her job. Ive gotten two sets done with her and both were mediocre. She is condescending and has serious attitude issues. Never going back. Id rather drive 20 mins to go see my old nail tech who was so much more professional and skilled.

Terrible the man at front charged 10$ for one broken nail!!! wasnt even long! he said its an extra 5$ because its long, never been charged for 10. And he was getting an attitude when i was asking why one nail is 10 dollars to fix.
