There are some 30 manicurists there and its really worthwhile to come up with a recommendation for a specific someone and ask him to do some nails for you. Im really not happy. The manicurist who did it to me injured the skin around the nail. And if you want nail decorations, you can bring a picture from the internet and the designer manicurist And charge a fee accordingly.

Sexy Nail Spa is my new fave!After having to leave the salon next door (Perfection Nail Salon) for EXTREMELY unprofessional behavior (DO NOT GET A PEDICURE THERE!!!), the technicians at the Sexy Nail Spa took great care of me !!The spa was VERY clean, they technicians were VERY kind and accommodating despite having walked in within an hour of them closing for a full set and gel pedicure.They are a breath of fresh air! 10/10

This was my first time going to Sexy Nail Spa. I’d been looking for a new place to get my UV gel so I figured why not give them a try. There’s a lot of nail salons on Broadway but I read some good reviews about this place. I called before as it was late in the day. They took me at 7:30pm which was really nice. Emily was my technician and she is amazing. Very nice attitude and accommodated all of my requests. Enjoyed it and will be back again!!

This place is absolutely awful. I thought it was just the person I had so I tried to go back again. I brought my sister and my friend, and they had an awful experience as well. Both ended up getting yelled at. Don’t go here. Both times the nail techs had attitudes and it was so busy I ended up being there for 3 whole hours.

Just recently started going here after my best friend referred me. This most recent trip I made was probably my 3rd time visiting for service. The lady who I had the time prior unfortunately wasn’t available when I went and needed a quick refill and gel polish. I’m not picky so I ended up going with a guy who was available. Not sure how long the guy had been doing nails but I hadn’t even made it home when I realized he hadn’t even painted the side of my nails right where the nail meets by your skin, on at least 3 of my fingers. I live far and it was already a hike going there and getting back home.Then the lady also another person who just happened to be available, I asked her to file my nails a certain way for my pedicure and she did the opposite. Not to mention there was paint all over my skin. 😩I was just a bit disappointed especially paying $70 plus dollars for service. Probably my own fault for not checking before I left the salon. Just a word of advice, book your appointment with the person you like who does your nails in advance so you won’t have that issue.

Kathy does my nails and does a great job with designs as well. My only issue is the nails start lifting quicker than other places I have been to.

They are very inconsistent with services and prices, the owner is very rude. They pretend to take your temperature and dont even look at the thermometer. Also they use the same implements on everyone, especially for pedicure is so disgusting when you see them pick up some implements that they used on someone before you and you can clearly see they are dirty and they want to use it on you. I had them just paint my toe nails only because I was in a hurry and i already paid and needed my nails to look ok for an event otherwise i would have not gottenthem done at all. I am definitely looking for a new place and never going back there again.

My nails are ok they could be more neat, but I needed it in a rush, I would give my nails a 4 but my pedicure was rushed which I didnt appreciate especially since I only do my feet every six weeks. I wouldve appreciated a longer pedicure than 10 min but again I understand they were busy and I didnt have an appointment

Disgusting. My nail tech used a USED cuticle cutter on me that was still dirty from previous clients and wiped it off with her shirt and proceeded to use it on me. Nail shape came out horrible and uneven. She wasn’t even paying full attention to my nails she was watching a YouTube video and she would literally stop doing my nails to pay attention to what was going on in the video. Felt so rushed. Terrible service. Zero stars

I get my nails done by Yahaira, shes super professional, speaks Spanish and does her job well.

Worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. I came in on a Saturday and got a regular manicure and pedicure. My cuticles look awful and my nail polish is bubbly on my toes and finger nails. I couldn’t afford to spend and additional hour in the salon so I came on Sunday for a correction. When I came in I told the woman I needed someone to repaint my nails because it was evident they had done a horrible job the previous day. I waited for an hour until I asked how much longer I had to wait. Than I waited an additional 15 minutes to finally have someone repaint my nails. In the meantime Ihad to wait for a technician barate me asking me why I didn’t come earlier. I’m sorry but I can’t plan my weekend around a technicians schedule to repaint my nails.

I’m very happy with my nails, I can’t find one flaw. The wait time was also very short for my nails and pedicure.

They were extremely unprofessional. My sister went there and she asked the guy on shift today to fix her nails and he was rushing her and NOBODY was in there. She offered to pay extra and he still said no. I called today and asked for the manager and he said she comes in tomorrow so Ill be calling again then. So ridiculous how rude he was to her.

This place is okay at best. Its very typical in that its more of a nail factory where you go in get served and its like whos next. It served its purpose for a quick mani and in the event i need to do so again will do because of location and parking available. The older lady that handled my nails did a good job but she was distracted by every pen drop of other conversation that took place.They have a large color selection and many people to assist but judging by the wait area you cant tell. I would imagine those who choose to wait are doing so for a particular person. It smells of all the acrylic and acetone in the world as they dont do many natural nails from what I see.I would in a jam and in need of something quick return, but if in the mood for a more spa like quality experience ...no

If I could put no stars or half I would. No effort done by a man working their went with my wife to get her nails and I usually get my nails done from Eden Nails in woodland park and their great. So I figured let’s go here since it’s closer to where we live and no effort just got a simple pedicure and it started their I tried to keep my mouth shut and then manicure started never in my life half I not soaked my nails before getting them done. And he didn’t even trim them or go underneath the nail nothing disgusting job told them to just take it all off.

Walked in for a pedicure and gel color change.... I was rushed in and rushed out. There was no pedicure, they just painted my toe nails and the gel color change still shows the black from my previous color which I asked to change... I questioned their price and instead of taking a second to look up at the work they repeated their price. Ill stick to my normal spot that does provide quality work, takes their time and treats clients with professional.

I went in for a refill when the nail technician told me to choose a color and sit at his table I sat down and said hello and I notice he had an attitude I ignored It until he was trying to tell me what to do instead of listening to what I wanted which was a refill . He wanted for me to get a New set I told him I had no time . The nail technician was very rude and disrespectful and started talking his language I told him I came for a refill not a full set he started giving me a nasty look And continue talking his language I told him listen where in America talk English. The customer are who keep you in business I’m not here to do this for free you have to do what I want not what you want the man sitting by the cashier yelled and he immediately shut up I told him if I have to pay extra I have no problem doing that he said you don’t like then leave. I told him how un professional he was and walked away and sat in the front next to the cashier another nail technician (women) came towards me and told me to go by her booth and did my nails this was the worst experience ever I wouldn’t recommend this place

They do nails well, however their customer service is aweful. They get very upset if your not at a fast pace or havent selected your nail color. One of the workers cut my cuticle too deep and I was bleeding. He never said sorry, however became extremely upset because it set him back from his pace. They are more interested in getting lots of customers making money then quality service. Smiles really go a long way...

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went there today to get a pedicure and the service was terrible. One of the techs told me to sit in the massage chair to get my pedicure. I waited 25 mins in the chair. Mind u the tech told me sit in the chair with no water to soak my feet. Then I felt everything was rush job when they started working on my toes. I wont be back. Clean place but terrible service.

I was seeing MIMI for about a year now and all of a sudden I get a response from her stating that she doesnt want to do your nails nomore with no reason given at all after II asked politely. I find that to be very unfair and unprofessional! At least tell me why! I wasted alot of money there and always tipped well even when my nails didnt came out how I wanted them. But honestly it shows the type of person you are because the last time I was there I was in tears and in a hurry because I had an emergency. Its just sad honestly how she turned out to be with me after all the people Ive sent to her but its okay because I found the best nail ever! 😁He is awesome, respectful, honest and knows how to slay your nails just the way you want them!

Terrible service! If I could rate this place no stars a would because one star is too much for the service I was provided! I waited an hour for them to put a design on my nail. They were very rude and unprofessional. Never again will I step foot into this nail salon. Nail technicians are supposed to be people oriented and that’s not the service I experienced whatsoever. I would understand if the nail salon was packed but there were about 7/8 clients when I arrived and there were even some workers refusing to do the design I desired. Would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

These places are just becoming more and more painful to patronize. No one speaks English, or rather understands it, but they pretend to. This place is clean, well lit, large, and busy. As usual, I had to come home and shape and polish my own nails. I would go back because the fill in was good. Ive been shaping and polishing my own nails for a hundred years!EDIT: Just discovered a few of my tips were not actually glued to my free edge so theres a gap and my nail hangs below the tip.This place sucks.

Dont go to this place. First of all the guy who did my nails was so grumpy and unwelcoming. When I picked a color from the color palette and he started to apply it, the color was not the same and when I told him he told me what can I do for you? Just pick a different color. Also when he was trying to push the cuticle he gave me a wound and it started to bleed. When I told him he just replied thats its okay!!!!!!I wouldnt recommend this place at all. I will never go back there as it was a bad experience!I forgot to mention that the place smells so bad, so much chemicals so if you have any respiratory problems dont go there!!!!!

If I could give no stars I would, horrible horrible service very very rude. First I use to go to Kevin my nails was uneven than Bouli he kept giving me attitude and smacking my hands. Than I went to David my nail was uneven and broke in 2 days than I went to Be next to the window for a filling he said he would charge me 5 dollars extra for the length which was not even long so I questioned him about charging me 5 dollars just for a filling after he took off my nail polish he got an attitude and walked off and left my nail unpolished unfilled and messed up. Just because I questioned him about 5 dollars. David than came to me and said he would do my nails but my appointment was not with him I was there for my appointment with Be since 6 30 waited on him because he had other people than took me at 7 30pm. I had bad experience with his service before that’s why I didn’t go get my nails done by David. Be took off my polish drilled off my design and walked off and left the nail salon just because I questioned him about 5 dollars extra for a filling just for length. I understand if it was a full set but it was a filling. I asked how short will he cut it etc. David also said Be left because he was mad & left to go pick up his kids @ 8pm. They are very rude. They showed me no respect and talk to me like I was nobody. I would not recommend anyone to go here due to horrible service and disrespect. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I have been going to Sexy Nails for a few years, but I will never go back after today. I got my nails done on Friday and that day I had to go back because my nails we’re not painted well. Then only 4 days later my nail polish comes off on two fingers, when I go back the manager was very rude and say that I have to pay to get my nails done again, I dont think that was the best way to handle it because I paid once for polished nails and the product that was put on my nails was obviously not good that it came off right away. I simply asked for the nail polish to be removed because I didn’t want to come back to the salon again if the nail polish start coming off, and I wanted my nails repainted only clear. The manager was trying to charge me 15$ so I refused to pay and ended up just taking the nail polish off completely, the manager treated fine before when he was taking my money, but when I was upset he was rude and I did not leave happy.

This experience has been the most insulting and disrespectful experience Ive ever had! I have been a faithful customer here with the same girl Jenna, faithfully coming every 2 weeks and tipping remotely well, recently I booked an appointment with her at 5:30pm as she sat me down and was working with me another lady came in for her at 6:15pm, I noticed she began to get anxious and try to rush my nails. I felt uncomfortable but I understood because more customers means more money. However I booked an appointment which clearly was not respected since she doubled booked. Throughout my simple line design I noticed she made one hand design thicker than the other i asked for it to be fixed and she replied with an attitude and rudely began to remove the design, as she did that she began speaking in Vietnamese to her coworkers and they began to stare at me, as if it wasnt uncomfortable enough already. But it gets worse she stopped working on me and sat the other customer she began hopping back and forth instead of finishing with me and then moving on. I didnt feel relaxed or pleased at all which IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF A SALON. I went home and contemplated on a new nail salon. The next morning the baby blue color i got had weird blackish grey stains on them which was really odd. I figure maybe I touched something and washed my hands about 20x but nothing worked ! My nails were just done the night before there should be no reason why they looked that beat up within 24hr! They looked like that because they were rushed and she didnt concentrate on one customer at a time. I went back the next day to get them fixed because nobody wants to pay 35 for a damn manicure and walk around with patchy stained looking nails. When I returned for the work to be redone I was asked if I wanted the same baby blue color and I replied no since I had such a bad experience with the color I asked for a darker blue, as I was getting ready to leave. I get stop by another employee asking me why I didnt pay and I replied I didnt come in for a new manicure i came in to get a bad job fixed. They began again to speak in Vietnamese and told me I had to pay because I switched the color, no one informed me before I sat down nor when I called to complain about this i replied why would I redo my nails with the same color I had horrible experience with. When Jenna decided to chime into the discussion she stated you got a new color you have to pay. I replied to her that this was never explained to me. To be honest I wouldnt have minded paying but what hindered me from doing so was the horrendous customer service and disgusting treatment I received. I was reluctant to paying because the job should have been done right the first time if she had focused on one customer at a time. But heres where it gets insulting.... she shood me away with her hand gesture as if I was a dog and told me to go. This is unacceptable dont WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! You will be rushed; your appointments will not be respected, and the customer service is distasteful

WARNING: They pass the same used tools from one customer to the next. I was there last night and the guy who did my pedicure acted like I didnt notice that he used the same tools for the girl next to me. He never left his chair, he just moved to the next chair and started working on her feet. I shouldve warned her. I honestly was worried all night that I might have caught some skin disease from this place since he mustve used dirty tools on me. AVOID this place at all costs.I will be reporting this place to the State. On top of that disgusting experience, my pedicure was horrible, sloppy and rushed. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This place is horrible. Literally went today and only had a ten minute pedicure. I have been here 3 times and each time is worse, will never be back. I couldn’t believe it she got so lazy she didn’t even clip my cuticles on half of one foot. They were really packed but it’s not excuse to the poor service. I had to clean up my toes once I got home because it was so messy. The guy that did my nails also had an attitude. Really did not like my experience here and wouldn’t recommend.

Massage chairs are the only good thing about this place. I used to go every 2weeks for mani and pedi. But there so called clean tools gave three of my fingers and one of my big toes fungi.. Now I am back to doing my own nails at home.

Been going there for about 2 years but will never go back. They used to be pretty good but horrible now. Sloppy, rush job, not friendly, attitudes, not professional, and gel doesnt last a week.When you pick out your gel color & tell them the number, its not the same color at all. Then they get mad if they have to remove it. They will get same number for non gel pedicure & again not the same.

Went there and guy did my nails flat and not how nails should look. 2 nails broke off a week after so I went back to get it fixed. I had a wound from my nail breaking and he was very rough and put glue right in it and caused me a lot of pain. Then he painted my two nails the WRONG COLOR.

I have been going to sexy nails spa for about 6 years. Once I discovered Bally, she is the only person I go to for my manicure. She used to take her time to ensure the nails health but since she has grown popular, she rushes sometimes. My favorite pedicure lady is Lee, she does not speak much English but she does any amazing job. She takes care of your feet, she does not pay attention to the others who are rushing, she paces herself to make sure it is done right. The salon has gone down over the years as popularity grew, but despite that, it is still a decent salon if you need something quick done. However be warned, some people are veryyyy rude...

Ive been a customer for many years. I think at some point, there comes a time when you have to just walk away when things are not working out. At this point, following my conversation today with my nail technician, that was enough for me to walk way. Ive put up with enough poor attitudes, mistreatment, and a lack of adequate service. Never did I think I would have to create a negative review regarding this business. But enough is enough. Earlier today I called to schedule an appointment with my nail tech because my manicure didnt last as long as it usually does. She began to tell me how busy she was and that I should call back later.....okay. I called back around 9p to schedule an appointment (again). However, yet again she told me that she is busy in the morning so she gave me a time in the afternoon on the next day. Im guessing that she assumed that I meant that I would only like to fix a few nails, however that was not what was discussed. I then told her that I need to redo my nails because they are all chipped and etc. That was when I got the attitude she then told me that she was busy right now and bye. I was shocked! As I hung up, I began to call back. The phone was not picked up as immediately as they typically do. When I got an answer I was handed off to the nail technician. I didnt want to speak to her so I hung up. I was only calling back to cancel the appointment. After hanging up I have been researching salons that are truly what they say they provide, a SPA service. I am so done wasting my money in businesses that do not value me as a customer and my funds. I work very hard to earn my money and I refuse to be treated as though I am getting services for free from any business. Id rather spend a fortune somewhere else and be valued and have a sense of peace during my service. This is it for me after 15+ years. A person can take but so much. Enough is enough. Please be advised, this is my personal experience, become a patron at your own risk.**Update: After months of searching for an amazing salon where I can experience a SPA service treatment, I finally found one. Very nice salon in Montclair, very quiet, technicians are kind and very respectful. I’ve been going there for quite some time now and I am beyond pleased. Worth every penny I spend in there. I have absolutely no regrets for choosing not to return to Sexy Nails Spa. Go where you are appreciated!

I went there today and they took long to even give me and my relative a chair to sit in to get our toes done then when they do the guy rushes everything and messes up 4 toes all smudged about more then 5 coats i will never go here again and then they wanted me to pay a full pedicure for bad work and he didn’t even finish both feet.
