I always have the most pleasant experience every single time I go! I am a regular customer and change my nails quite often, but it’s easy to do with such affordable prizes and such talented nail techs. Larry is AMAZING! If I’m not sure what type of look I want, he comes up with one on his own and I am always pleased. My current set was his original idea. Everyone on staff is so friendly and professional. LOVE THIS PLACE!

This review is for Tip and Toe located on St. Joe, apparently under the same company as Lovely Nails. Went into Tip and Toe asking how long the wait was for a pedicure. They seemed a bit busy so I told the man that I could come back later if needed. He said it would be a short wait and told me to sit down. 45 minutes later I still had not been served even though clients who came after me were taken quickly. One woman beside me told me she had been there well over an hour and still the nail techs were taking clients that came in way after her. I am a busy person and do not like to wait when I could be doing productive things so I stood up and told the man that Id be back later. This was after a woman came in for a pedicure 30 minutes after me was immediately taken back. She did not have an appointment. The man became a bit irritated that I wanted to leave and kept saying You can wait. You are next. I no longer even wanted a pedicure from this business. Do not plan to go back. Ill stick with Creative Nail Spa on South Green River. They are busier, but very professional.

I couldnt leave fast enough. I decided not to do my nails after my pedicure. My feet felt the exactly the same as before. When I pay for a pedicure I expect my feet to look better. I took my 5 yr old on her birthday. We thought it would be fun but they ignored her and could care less it was her birthday. They were rude to her and she is so sweet and very well behaved. She didnt enjoy it at all and was scared of the workers. DONT TAKE KIDS THERE!! We will stick with our normal place.

My regular salon was closed today, so I decided to give Lovely Nails a try. I was immediately waited on by Joleen, who was very helpful and professional. The environment was fun and upbeat. I get dip nails, and today I chose a bright pink with sparkles. They look amazing and will definitely be my go to if my salon is closed again!

Tony, Bob, Lisa, and Michael are all amazing nail techs! Tony is so creative with designs, my nails have never looked so good. I get compliments on them every day. When you work in music, image is an important part of the whole act and they make sure I always am on point.

I was in and out in 20 mins Lots of dark polish left on my nails after requesting they be clear after the fill. Tech seemed irritated that I refused gel polish even after explaining that I dont put my hands in uv light. Very dissapointed after multiple trips to this salon.

The man who did my nails was rude. Didnt ask anything about shape or length, doesnt even match. He didnt let the nails dry so there are bubbles of wet paint coming off.

Got it set of nails put on by a gentleman there. His workstation was dirty. The tools he used he got out of a drawer and they should’ve been soaking or sanitized at least but I noticed the clippers having nail dust on them already. When he finished my nails they were not evenly filed and they were so thick. A week later I went to a different place and had a brand new set put on. The professional he went to who put my second set on said that lovely nails did a horrible job on my nail and there was a lot of lifting and my nail beds were bruised

Ahhh Tony is the best nail tech I have ever went to, been going their since 2006. No one can do the job as well as Tony, Bob comes in second on nails.

Went and got my nails done Tuesday morning, last night (wednesday..THE NEXT DAY) my nail snapped!!!I paid $40 for this set with airbrush and gel polish!If I could give ZERO stars I WOULD!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!

She ripped my skin when she was buffing my nails. Didn’t cut it but ripped it!! Very poor service!!

It was my first time going here on 5/12/2020. The workers are nice but the day after I got them done I realized how thin the guy(Tony) did them because I barley hit my nail and it broke. The more I went about my day the more I could tell how flimsy they were. I took one nail and attempted to bend it, and to my surpise it bent with ease and just broke off. I continued to do this to all of them and they all EASILY broke off. I will definitely not be back! I recommend you all stop being so stingy with supplies and do your customers nail correctly!

Have been in many times and they did a great job. The past two times I went in the same guy did my nails and made my nails on my right hand look awful. They never match my left hand and are always much shorter than I ask for and almost all of them are slanted and not straight across at the end like they should be. He rushes through them even when not busy and makes it not worth the money. I will not be going back.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. MY NAILS DIDNT HAVE THE CORRECT SHAPE. AS SOON AS I ENTERED I HAD TO WASH MY HANDS!!! CAUCASIAN LADY ENTERED RIGHT AFTER, AND WASNT TOLD TO WASH HER HANDS. MY NAIL TECH DIDNT SAY 2 WORDS. TWICE NOW AND THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!

The experience sucked. It was $30 for just a full set, and I could have went somewhere else for way cheaper. Not only that but the person got lots of things underneath my nails and cut them way shorter than I asked. I gave this 1 star. Could have been a lot better

Called ahead to see if they had openings available and they told me yes and to come right then. I got there in 5 minutes. Had to wait 30 for a spot. I asked if they had opal and the man said yeah. When it came to my turn they replied with them not have it, so while I chose a new color he instead took another client while I continued to wait another 20 minutes. A different man began working on my nails and left midway through to take his break. I then had to wait for the first worker to get finished to have mine done. The man was extremely rude to me and I blew it off to try and not make it awkward. I told him I liked my nails and he replied with “You are lucky I took you, no one else wanted too”. Worst experience I have ever had. Stating that I work in customer service so know how to be polite, and was also considered a regular. I was there for over 2 hours and was late to work. My friend also recently went and saw Other girls wearing sweatpants and they treated them differently because the clothes they were wearing. Highly dissapointed and won’t be coming back

Amazing place if you get the right tech. Bob is amazing and I’d recommend him over anything. He takes his time and is sure to be gentle. Most of the time I just tell him to go ahead, I trust his judgment.

Been to lovely nails many times, and it use to be my favorite place. Until I went in there the last two times and the lady was absolutely rude. She did awful on my nails I told her I didn’t like the color, but she told me it’s too late to change it. They weren’t even and they were shorter than I told her. Also the thumb nail was on crooked and I told her to change it, but she told me it looked fine. They try to get you in and out there and I hate that. Then she charged me 30 dollars for just a fill in. I then gave her a 1 dollar tip because she did so bad on them. She laughed and said if you’d just gonna give me a dollar I don’t want it. She was very rude and I won’t be going back.

Very disappointed with this place. I went in asking for a specific nail technician and they passed me off to someone else for the second time even though I requested that specific one and made an appointment. The man who did my nails didnt greet me or anything. I stated that I had been there the time before for my full set and all my nails were falling off from the bottom up. He looked at me and began doing my nails and noticed how fragile they were. He did my fill in fixing 3 nails and taking off another one totaling 4 in all, when finished asked me to pay him $35.00. I asked why? A fill in is only 15. Plus my broken nails shouldnt have been as much. I also got gel nails which cost me $10.00 extra. He charged me $10.00 for broken nails that were not done currently. I got a full set the time before by this business and it was there lack of expertise to cause my nails to fall off. I didnt break them on my own will or damage them. The manager took two dollars off. I paid and the man put my change on the counter walked off and took care of another customer. The manager looked my nails over and sent me on my way didnt say a word to me. The nail technician I had was rude and didnt satisfy my needs. I will NEVER BE BACK!!!! Worst service ever. Heres a tip. Get a better attitude. Without your customers you have no occupation. Treat them kind.

I’ve had two bad experiences with this place. Worst place ever to get nails done. Tried to charge me 20.00 to repaint my nails that another shop already did. I just wanted them painted. They are rude and unprofessional. Especially the women. The manager just sits there and lets the minions handle everything. He didn’t even speak up, they are about money not customer satisfaction! & this lady soaked her nails in the acetone and then the nail technician poured the acetone back in the container for the next customer to use. They are disgusting! I won’t ever be back two chances are enough.

Very happy with the service I received. The salon is very clean and the technicians are very nice. The technicians are quiet if you dont feel chatty, but very very friendly if you do actually feel like talking. I got my nails done by one of the gentlemen, and he actually turned my finger to check the appearance against the other hand. He rotated my fingers several times to make shape and length edits. Ive been a lot of places that arent that thorough in checking their work. I am pleased!

I waited three and a half hours to get a fill. They never apologized and she hurt me numerous times. My friend asked for a design on her nail and they laughed and didn’t attempt to do it and sent her on her way. The nails they put on me are the powder dip and they grinder my nails down so far that it attached to my actual nail and ripped my skin off, leaving raw flesh. Not to mention it fell off a week after getting them.

Always leave with great, long lasting nails! A return from me is for sure!!

Any other nail place I go to I always end up spending up to $50 and dont understand where the extra cost comes from. I always spend a flat $25 for a full set even with designs at Lovely Nails. The workers are all so nice and will talk to you while they do your nails so you dont sit there awkwardly the whole time. I always love the outcome. Would never go anywhere else for nails.

Ive had more than one bad experience there. I stopped going for awhile but decided to give them another chance about a month ago. Ive spent about 150 there in the last2 months and after today I cant go back. My fill in does not really look like i just got a fill in. Some of the people working there are good but not all. If someone needs more practice they would practice on fake hands, i shouldnt have to pay while someone is trying to get better. I paid them and didnt say anything but that was the last straw.

They arent that great anymore will not go back. I have been there lots of times. It used to be great but the last couple of times have been bad work. Its like they want to hurry up and get out. And they dont care about your nails. I know Im done with them. I dont know who is in charge but they need to talk to there employees about there service. DONE

I went in and asked for a gel manicure and to get my acrylics off. the man just ripped my acrylics off. very painful. the man went very fast when painting my nails and got nail polish all over the sides of my fingers.

I would give ZERO STARS if I could!I never got the guys name that did my nails but he was very nice at first but then as he was using the electric nail file on my nails he CUT my finger with it, I was bleeding!! And then once it finally came time to do the color, anytime I accidentally hit my nail and messed it up trying to put it in the gel dryer, he would shake his head and then proceed to fix it. Not very polite or professional if you ask meAnd also he was VERY SLOW. The guy next to him who did a girls FULL set was DONE 15 minutes before this guy got done with my FILL IN!!!!Ill never go back unless its to complain to a manager

I went here as a last resort, and regret every dollar. The person was practicing on me, and when the owner came to check on them, it confirmed my suspicion. Nails filed crooked, and too deep into my own nail. The owner had to try and correct the mistakes. Painful and frustrating experience. My nails started lifting after 4 days. I Will NOT return.

Worst nail salon i’ve been too lady didn’t know how to do designs and was extremely rude. also my nail broke the same day i got them done!

I was charged 30 for toe nail painting with 3 nails that had a dog paw design which one was not centered. I was charged 35 for my finger nails which was not even a fill in. Basically cleaned the cutical area took off polish and added polish with 2 paw prints that bubbled. Nails were filed a bit but had wavy tips.

I would give this place zero stars if I could, 100% worst nail salon in evansville. The man I had went so fast and cut in to my skin at least 5 times and made my left ring finger bleed. He was texting, not paying attention, and doing a horrible job the entire time. My nails hurt and look awful, on top of that he asked if I wanted coffin shape and I said sure, then when I was paying decided to tell me coffin shape was $10 extra. I will never be back to this salon again and will be sure to tell everyone not to go here.

They are not sanitizing their utensils between customers. You are taking a huge chance at contracting Hepatitis, HIV, or a fungal infection that eats your nailbeds.

I went there one time and the man that did my nails, jerked my fingers around very roughly, my nails where 1/8th of an inch in thickness. I asked him to slightly trim the length of my nails and he cut 3/4 an inch off them. They are way too short now. He had an attitude like I was bothering him by being there. When I went to the place to dry my nails he brought my purse, it tipped over a little bit and then he kicked it. My nails are absolutely awful. I let them know I was displeased and one man said he would fix them but I had to work so he said come in when you can. I call a few days later and the girl that answers says no they wont do anything.

Cut my finger, done powder dip and they use a light, that you use with gel..never had done like it before....dont think I be going back...
