Last week I received a Signature Gel Manicure and a 90 minute massage from Retreat Spa and Salon- after my experience I would NOT come back.To begin with, the 90 minute massage I received was only 70 minutes. This was something I was willing to over look until I received my manicure.The manicurist quickly clipped my nails, filed them, used cuticle oil, and clipped the cuticles without soaking first. This took all of 4 minutes - literally...She then proceeded to put the gel nail polish on and it required SEVEN coats for her to get my very short nails covered.According to the description, this was supposed to be a relaxing 45 minute manicure that included hand and arm massage all for $40. When I asked the woman at reception (owner/manager) about not receiving what was described, her only response was to tell me what I owed. By Tuesday, the polish was already peeling off in full chunks.My husband and I have been using this facility for massages over the past 10 years and have recommended them to everyone I know, including family members and coworkers. I will NEVER go back due to the way I was treated and will be finding a new massage place to bring my business to.Save your money, go to a nail salon where I guarantee the quality and service will be much better.

Amanda gave me a fabulous facial! She is friendly and sweet but above that she is enormously skilled. It was a great experience and i will return! Note: men are welcome even if they have a beard (I asked).

My very first time getting a wax and the young lady who did not mention her name. Not only that she did not make me feel comfortable. She kept asking worse pain ever, don’t feel good and tell whoever told you to do this they lied. Like who says that to someone who’s trying to get a wax ? Never again i felt as if she was trying to make it hurt on purpose.

I’m using my husband’s google account to leave this review. I have been here several times for massages and facials and they are ALWAYS awesome. Well today I had a massage, facial, and mani/pedi. The facial and massage were yet again amazing. The mani/pedi however was not good. The woman was super nice, but she had to redo my mani multiple times for it to still not look good in the end. I got home and within the first few hours, three of my gel painted fingernails had already pulled off.. very disappointing. I loved her bed side manner, but the manicure itself looked bad. If you’re going to go, I highly recommend a facial or massage, but avoid the mani/pedis!

The staff is friendly and the salon is nice, but the gel manicure I got was something less than to be desired. I needed an polish change horribly, and my usual place wasn’t able to get me in, so I decided to give Retreat a try. The manicurist was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. She took care in getting the old gel off and did a good job in shaping and cleaning my nails. That’s where it ends. The new gel went on like normal, and I left the salon. No more than 3 hours later, the gel polish on my thumb nail on my right nail lifted up. I attempted to fix it by applying a coat of clear extreme wear over it. Good right? Nope. This is Friday night, Saturday morning the tips of all my nails on my right hand look like a paint job that has been on a little too long, chipped and worn off. So now I take a shower and my left hand starts to lift. The only good thing about the polish is it comes off so easily, there is absolutely no damage to my nail bed itself. It’s like it has never been there. Funny, I have never had a gel polish come off or lift the first day or the subsequent week. The polish that was taken off to begin with was on for 3 weeks.I really do wish I had a better experience here.

Retreat is where you need to be if you are looking for a great massage, facial or pedi in a relaxing environment. I highly recommend them, you wont regret going!

Went in for a maternity massage and left very dissatisfied. The therapist talked the entire time and would often stop massaging during a tangent. She complained about how tired she was and how shes done so many massages that day. When I flipped to my back she was haphazardly rubbing knots in my shoulders. I told her it hurt and if I could have her instead do my lower back again. She said no, that it would be too hard to get me back on the maternity pillow (which is a pathetic excuse). When the session was over I noticed it was 7 minutes before my hour was up and the massage didnt start until almost 15 past the appointment time (going to room, undressing, laying on table and her coming back into the room). Not what I wanted from what was supposed to be a pain relieving maternity massage.

Amazing place to get luxury pedicures! The spa is very clean, and everyone is super friendly. They did an awesome job on my husband and me--will definitely return!

I have been here several times and have always been treated very respectfully by the front desk staff. I have only ever gone for massages, but my husband and I will not go anywhere else. We both get massages from Meredith, as she has magic hands. Highly recommend massages here.

The spa was clean and nicely decorated in calm colors. The waiting room had plush chairs, and we were only waiting for a few minutes since we arrived early. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had pedicures and the specialists were meticulous with the polish and cheerful.

I am EXTREMELY picky. This was my first time at the salon and Im always nervous. DENA did absolutely amazing with me. My hair is exactly how I wanted it. If you want someone who takes there time and actually listens to your hair then I highly recommend dena. She paid attention to every detail in my hair and it looks amazing! Prices very reasonable and the salon is very cute!

Ive had many services at the Retreat and I have always been pleased with the quality and the knowledge and professionalism of the staff. The spa side is very beautiful and the atmosphere is exactly what you want when you are having a little pampering. I love my hair stylist, Wendi. She won me over the first time she cut my hair by being very friendly, taking a good amount time to discuss what I wanted, and giving me a great cut. I have noticed that sometimes on busy days the salon side looks a little unorganized and messy. (Hair on the floor, messy stations, etc.) I have also observed parents bringing their children to the salon side. I wish the salon didnt allow this because there isnt really room for extra people back there who arent receiving services so the kiddos end up wandering around getting underfoot.

From the moment you walk in Retreat you feel welcomed by the front desk staff. Lindsey Toelle does an amazing job cutting and styling hair as well as does great pedicures. Dayna Flanagan does a fantastic job and Meredith Brisson makes you feel 100% comfortable during a massage. The atmosphere in both the spa and salon side is perfect in all ways. The staff is very respectful and welcoming. Highly recommend Retreat Spa and Salon.

This place over charge my sister for her hair and didnt even get what she desire. They were in front of us when they discussed about putting more color on her hair and they said theyre going to charge her $5 only because she made a mistake and thats why we came back so she can fix it. But after they did her hair we were both shocked when the lady said its gonna be $50. If we know that its gonna be that much we wouldnt have to come back. Btw, she got a balayage done and the hair came out like a partial highlights and charge her $160 for that. I definitely dont recommend this place. Theres other good salon out there that can give you what you desire and not over charging you for something you didnt get.

I had a terrible experience and will never go back to this place. The front desk people are so dam rude that they dont care about their clients. I felt like if they are so rude to customer I wonder how they are even treating their employees. The put the blame on me for them not communicating and recording correctly in their system. Apart from that the lady was talking at the top of her voice while others are staring at us. Service is ok. Over all my impression on this place is terrible and will never return back. If you are going for relaxing and taking a break from your hectic life..this is NOT the place to go as you will feel miserable afterwards. Thats how I felt. There are other places in the area who are more welcoming and does much better service. Go explore them.
