My daughter recently experienced significant issues caused by a shoddy service she received at another garage. The folks at McCrae Subaru diagnosed her problems and worked with her every step of the way in getting her car back on the road. They were also able to perform a few extra unrelated repairs at no cost to her. She is 900 miles away from her mom and I (dad) so it was difficult for us to provide much help. Ken Gordon stepped in and really took her under his wings and made all of the difference for her. We cant say enough good things about the entire organization. They truly care about their customers and prove it daily.

We love this place. JP was a great salesman. He was helpful with all our questions and he was not pushy in any way. They have several arcade games for kids (and adults). Their new and used selection is great for Humboldt County. Treat drive a Subaru today.

This is my first Subaru. The only reason I considered a Subaru is because a friend spoke highly of all Subarus. I ended up test driving my Forester twice and Charlie, the car salesman, was so nice and accommodating. Once I made the decision to buy, everything ran smoothly. I would definitely buy from them again! I have recommended them to everyone who has commented on my new Forester.

Everyone was very courteous and they took all Covid precautions of wearing masks and putting covers on both my drivers seat and steering wheel while they worked on my Subaru. They told me how long the work would take and called me within that time-frame that it was done. When I arrived to get my Subaru, someone quickly went over everything they did along with the results of the safety inspection. They also vacuumed inside my vehicle! Thank you McCrea Subaru for a wonderful experience and lowering my anxiety about doing these services during a pandemic.

I made an appointment to have an oil service and any other needs for an18k mile check up. I was delayed in returning to the area, contacted the dealer explained my situation and the appointment postponed for one day. I was notified by text that my appointment was a go, scheduled and affirmed the time. Upon arrival at the service location, the usual check in process started and about 1/2 way through another representative came to the counter and told me they could not service the vehicle because I had flown.Regardless, the information was known and could have been discussed thoroughly over the phone and providing their rationale to cancel my appointment. Instead, I spent travel time and arrangements to leave my car for the service, only to arrive and be told they couldnt service the vehicle. Poor service communication. Would it have been prudent to tell me this over the phone when discussing the situation the day prior to the appointment.. To me it is appalling that organizations do not have any regard for consumers. I really would have been understanding if they had told me the day before or prior to arrival. This behavior is not acceptable.

AWESOME SERVICE. Not only was the buying process really simple and easy but they were kind enough to stay late so that I could buy my 2019 Crosstrek after work. I just recently called to get my first service called and the customer service over the phone was excellent. Im glad I decided to do my business with these guys.

The guys who work at McCrea Subaru have fun so much so that i want to retire and go hang out there, drink coffee every day and mix it up. Their work is supreme. They listen, they get your car for you if its raining, they remember your name. Sheesh, its the best service I receive anywhere, in any business. The workmanship is consistently beyond my expectations, the cost is always a little less than the estimate and i never feel they make up things to meet service quotas. Heck, these guys dont have to. People line up to bring their vehicles in there. Sometimes theyll just fix things when you drive in thinking youre there to schedule an appointment for a repair. Okay, Ill shut up now in saying, fives just not enough stars for this crew. Theyre more like a 10! Thank you, guys, you truly are the best

I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. Went in there just looking around and ended up walking out with a 2019 brand new Subaru Crosstrek with a very good interest rate and a very good price. The staff only worked with me for a few hours, but they went above and beyond. Would recommend them to anyone!

Not only do I love driving my new 2018 Crosstrek, both in town and on road trips, but the service department is pretty awesome as well. Ive been in other dealerships where I have felt like a second class citizen because I am a woman. Not here! The guys were great, helpful, had a nice sense of humor, and did an excellent job of servicing my car. It was only in for an oil change, but they performed a whole series of checks on it - which a) nicely surprised me, and b) made me feel even safer driving the car. Double thumbs up for McCrea Subaru Service Department!!

Beware! I bought a broken car that had been glued together instead of fixed from this lot! I barley drove the car for 5 months before the glue finally heated up and starting coming off the part it was meant to “fix” This problem could have blown up my engine if left the way it was. I talked to the manager Matt at the service center and he tried to charge me for the part and labor to fix it! I told him the nice people down the road offered to fix it for less then he told me and the best he could come up with is match the other guys price. Never going here again would not recommend this place to anyone they are just in it for the money. They don’t care about the customer. rip me off on a car that’s broken then try to gouge more money out of me to fix the broken car they sold me! I left and went to J&L automotive and they did a great job fixing it!

I purchased a new Subaru from McCrea toward the end of 2015 and have so far had a couple services performed on the vehicle. Great staff all things considered. The service department is timely and contacts you when they should. The sales staff isnt pushy and take all of your wants/needs into consideration when youre searching for a car. I highly recommend stopping in and seeing what the folks at McCrea can do for you if youre in the market for a new or pre-owned/used vehicle.

Went with my mom to look at a new Subaru. She fell in love with her new Impreza. The salesman Scott and Dave were very helpful and patient. They filled the car up with gas and washed it. Than took the time to set up Bluetooth on the phone and show my mom the features of the car.She is very happy with her purchase and will be buying more cars from them in the future.

We bought a vehicle that was in a total loss collision shortly after. We had full coverage insurance and purchased additional gap coverage from McCrea for this exact possibility. I was hospitalized in an unrelated event around this time. My wife and I were completely consumed by my month long stay in the hospital and a long recovery at home. We did not get to really investigate how our car claim was going since we had no indication that there was a problem, we were consumed by the extent of my recent injuries, and we have 2 other vehicles. When we eventually realized that there hadnt been any communication regarding our gap insurance, we contacted McCrea to inquire about it. The representatives that we spoke to gave us little information and made it difficult for us to complete our claim during a time of chaos in our lives. This resulted in a problem with our gap insurance and financial misfortune that I am still unclear about. The experience with our salesman seemed to be all about making the sale and I do not feel that we received adequate assistance after the sale, or even information and clear understanding of how our insurance would work. My wifes credit has been irreperably damaged and I do not believe that it was through any fault of her own.

Stay away from this dealership - especially if your looking for a Subaru. I went in with an asking offer (and open to negotiations) and instead got a very, very unreasonable offer (compared to other dealerships) and a sales manager/floor person that was just a d*ck (Ken Gordon Im talking about you). They must be still riding high on the returns from the cash for clunkers program as I cant see them making many sales with the level of sales professionalism shown.

The broken keyfob they handed my girlfriend after she signed the paperwork was the first of a long series of hassles with the car she was sold by McCrea Nissan. Four years later, weve had to tackle two major repairs, one, a broken rack and pinion, and two, a cylinder completely misfiring. On a car that is under 60K miles, thats either a shabby manufacturing, terrible luck or the fact that it was an abused rental car.They said it was a single owner, a nice little old lady who treated her car good. Anyway, stay away, if you possibly can in the tiny car world of Eureka.

Edit: I am amending my review because of a recent encounter with their shop. I needed a seat repair and their shop went out of their way to help me get it fixed and to have Subaru cover the cost. A big shout out to Ken, Thank you!Old review: This business has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Ive been trying unsuccessfully for a month to get them to fix my airbags after I was sent a recall notice from Subaru of America. Too bad they arent worried about the safety of my family. Corporate wasnt much help either though. Ive called them regarding the matter twice to no avail. If youre considering buying a Subaru, I would reconsider.
