I had a 90 minute massage today with Libby. From the moment you walk in, everyone is welcoming and kind. Libby is so sweet, attentive and it was absolutely the best massage I’ve ever had! I walked out of there feeling so much better! I made sure to schedule my next massage before I left. 100% recommend.

I had the extreme pleasure of visiting this salon and from start to finish, the experience was first-rate.Katie Adair was my 10-star stylist. My hair is VERY thick, has a curly layer underneath and a straight layer on top.I explained to Katie that I wanted an easy-care, wavy, wash and go haircut. A tall order, yes, but after listening to me, studying my hair (I had washed, conditioned, air-dried and slept on the night before.) and viewing a picture that I brought with me, she worked her skillful magic.I could not be happier with the haircut, her personable nature and I have another appointment with her booked for October.I am looking forward to working with you again, Katie!

I scheduled 6 services for 3 of our employees for our employee health and wellness day. It didn’t seem like they were used to accommodating three guests of the same party at once but they did an excellent job. All of our services were amazing (3 massages 3 nail services) with the exception of one pedicure that seemed a little rushed which is understandable due to party size. 100% recommend, we’ll be back!

I love my haircut. I think in fact it is one of the best I have ever received. If this were just about my stylist I would give 5 stars whole heartedly. The problem is the salon which is already very high priced in increase their prices . Their explanation? They wish to pay their front door staff 14 an hour rather than the close to minimum wage they were paying. them When haircuts start at $60dollars and color at $200 there is no reason that they had to raise prices just to do the right thing.

Gervais does not disappoint! In all my years of services, all the practitioners I have seen have been highly trained, innovative, and professional. Gervais has handled COVID restrictions gracefully, putting the safety of staff and customers first. Also, it is obvious that Gervais values inclusion; the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I have never had a massage or a facial before and I loved it! Everyone was polite, professional, and very helpful. I loved it so much I will most definitely will be back! Jane did a great job on my short haircut. Shes friendly, professional, patient and attentive. My favorite part was the shampoo which was literally the most relaxing shampoo ever.

Our spa pedicure with gels that was supposed to last a hour and 15 minutes was completed in 35 minutes. We did not get neck warmers, water nor did I get the regular foot/leg massage. My daughters service was started before mine and yet we were finished at the same time. Absolutely NOT worth the $160 I paid. I’m guessing the supervisor would not even look me in the eye or speak to when we paid and left. If I could give less than one star I would.

My massage with Zach was relaxing and also released tension in back and shoulder. I was in quite a bit of pain and my massage with Zach has made me feel much better. The shower after the massage was refreshing and peaceful.

My facial today was the first experience/service I have had at Gervais and it was amazing! They welcomed me right when I walked in the door, the atmosphere was very inviting and all the staff were very helpful and nice. The space was clean and well stocked if you wanted to purchase any of their products. The lady who did my facial was sweet, informative and made me feel as though she was catering the experience to meet my skins needs as best as she could. I will definitely be back!

Gervais cancelled my appointment a week before my wedding. My hair stylist had an emergency come up (not her fault) but Gervais did not try and get me in with another hairstylist. After I explained my situation all they did was put me on a cancelation list. Gervais does not care about their clients. I had been going there for 3 or 4 years with the same stylist. This is a huge disappointment. If you’re getting married don’t rely on Gervais.

As soon as I walk in the door, I know I am going to be treated well! From a welcoming cup of tea, to the service I am there for to walking out of there feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day! You really can’t go wrong at Gervais!

Best massage I have ever had. Do I need to say more? I will... My husband and I went for our 1 year anniversary and they truly know what they are doing. I left feeling taller, with much less stiffness to my neck. Wonderful experience. I also got a haircut for the first time in a year and a half and my stylist was so nice and patient with me. I really appreciated it.

I saw McKinzie for a cut. She was very professional and listened to my concerns. It’s been over a year since my last cut and I left feeling refreshed and light weight. The products she used smelled amazing and did not leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy. The front desk staff were very polite and greeted me promptly. I highly recommend McKinzie and will definitely be back!

Zak is an incredible massage therapist--highly skilled, precise, and effective. The atmosphere is peaceful and spa like and the staff are professional and friendly. I love this place!

Gervais remains the top spa in Eugene. It has been refreshing and rejuvenating to return to the spa after this year of Covid. Both my daughter and myself have received facials in the last two weeks and the experience was unparalleled. We were greeted warmly and we both felt extremely safe. We are both vaccinated as were the talented ladies who worked on us, which increased our ease and eliminated anxiety. The experience was so relaxing with the comfortable room, relaxing facial and wonderful massage. I’m each experience the spa person took time to speak with us about our concerns and cares and put us completely at ease. My daughter said she practically fell asleep from the deep relaxation she experienced. I cannot praise Gervais enough for their 5 star exceptional service. Already we cannot wait to return!!

Ruby did an amazing lash tint/lift! She was personable, fun and professional. And my eyelashes turned out awesome! She explained the whole process and made sure I was doing ok during it then she provided excellent aftercare instructions. Definitely recommend!

During a recent visit to my hometown of Springfield, I visited the salon three times in as many weeks for three different services. The technical quality of the services I received was excellent! However, the culture of at the spa was unprofessional. During my three visits I witnessed a confrontational service provider, multiple violations of basic hygiene, and repeated scheduling issues that had nothing to do with me. (In one instance, my appointment was cancelled *after* I had already been checked in for my appointment at the salon.) I understand that emergencies happen but in my previous experience with Aveda, salon leadership has stepped in to take over in such cases. The staff repeatedly apologized for all of this. But repeated apologies for repeated problems is not a solution. It’s certainly not what I expect from an Aveda salon. I am a loyal Aveda client for 10+ years in the Midwest and East Coast. I tip generously. I have never experienced anything remotely like this. My overall impression is that Gervais has become a place that does not value professionalism, consistency, and allows its staff to cut corners on safety and hygiene. My local family members have recently stopped patronizing Aveda. I know now why. I will absolutely not be returning here in the future, especially when there are other options in town.

Since moving to Eugene 5 years ago, Ive seen a multitude of disappointing stylists in town that didn’t listen to my needs and just did the bare minimum...and then about a year ago all of that changed when a friend recommended I see Bianca at Gervais. I’ve seen Bianca a few times since then and have grown to love her because the woman just gets me - she hears me, she sees me, she collaborates with me, and takes the time to ensure I look just as good as I feel when I leave her chair. My locks are changing from brown to grey and she has invested a great deal of time and energy into experimenting with different ideas and blending colors to find a look that I love. She’s not just good at hair and scalp massages, she is an incredible human being with a hilarious sense of humor that is rare and refreshing. I’m so happy to have finally found my match. 100% recommend

My only (barely) complaint would be that the entrance, with covid protocols in place, was a little confusing as to where I was supposed to be checking in/out, keeping space, etc. 5/5 though :)

I had my hair done by Meghan, and I also loved it. My hair used to be long (around halfway down my back), I had a bad habit of pulling at it, and I hadn’t gotten a haircut for quite a while so it was pretty damaged. She knew exactly what to do, and while my hair is fairly short now, it looks amazing and purposeful. I also received the botanical treatment (highly recommend), which was very soothing and my hair feels amazingly soft and smooth afterwards. Overall this experience was incredible and perfect for my first time having my hair done professionally. Thank you so much!

I sent them a photo of me an hour after I got out of there that’s a poor quality cut for $50 and I will let anybody look at it the left side is longer than the right side in front and back I was in straighten my own here to make it easy because I know my hair is long and thick she took 2 inches off not one and I will show anybody the picture they want to see I will never go back there again. My bangs are not textured to lay flat and neither is the back of my hair and I have this choppy look

I had a full weave for 2cdifferent tones which I still dont see after 2 washes. I paid alot of money that looks like 1 color on my head. The price quoted became way over the quote. Plus she forgot to finish the trim in front.

I love to visit Gervais as a special treat for an indulgent skin or hair treatment- I also love to stock up on excellent quality products from time to time- they last a long time! The last time I bought product there was a gel facial cleanser and a hair texture tonic- that was in February and it is now November and I still have some left! I love the care they put into the customer experience. I highly recommend for any season!

I had the best experience with Bianca, right off the bat she was so comfortable to work with, so professional and just has good energy. She was very careful about making sure she knew exactly what I wanted and making sure I was happy with the final cut. It was a work in progress, bringing out waves and dimension in otherwise flat hair. Once she was sure we had the same vision she had fun with it and obviously takes a lot of pride in her work. No judgement about my total lack of experience with my own hair, I cut my own hair for years. I even brought in my hair products to ask for her advice and she was so helpful with showing me what might work better to get the results I want with the products I already have. Happy to find my hairdresser, worth every penny!
