I had an appointment today via online booking at 11am. They called 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment and cancelled, saying they where fully booked. How is that possible when I had an appointment set for a previously empty spot. There where two stylus’ on site and with them knowing a booked appointment was coming in, wouldn’t that be first priority? Walk-ins should’ve been told to wait or to come back later, no?

I basically got ripped off to have my hair turned into a yellow mullet lol.

Had a time set to get my hair done and they never show up. Very unhappy

I am so impressed with my haircut. Im not sure what the ladys name was but she did a fantastic job.

My hairstylist is AMAZING. I told her I wanted it evened out after my hair was cut by a child and colored lighter due to gray hair and she helped me get a cut and color that was just perfection. The color is so spot on that it looks like it belongs on me more than my natural hair color and the cut was so perfect that one of my coworkers commented that it sits so perfectly on my head that it almost looks like a wig. The cut works with both my hair straightened and makes my curls look fantastic when I let my hair go curly. 10 out of 10 recommend.

The people who work here are rude. I grew weary of them and found another salon. Having said that, they do cut hair very well. Ill give them that.

Got the worst haircut of my life. Uneven, looked like one of my kids cut my hair. Will be visiting a real barber tomorrow to fix this mess.

Great experience with Cheyenne! Great price, reasonable time spent in chair, great experience overall.I have curly hair(3b/3c), and Cheyenne gave me the best cut I’ve ever received. I have a lot of damage from chemical straightening, and she was able to trim a lot, while still leaving a length and style I was happy with, and help me develop a grow out a trim schedule I’m comfortable with. She’s also given me great advice on products to use, and methods to look into to get my hair to be healthier and behave better. Will definitely go back!

$24 for a hair cut I didnt like.

Im happy enough with my haircut, but i doubt Ill patron this place ever again. I get the impression that the person or people in charge are intentionally deceptive, in regards to pricing. Since im the sort of person who votes with my dollar, and I dont like my intelligence insulted, I cant support this place.The workers are nice enough. And they seem to want to please you with a job well done. One hairstylist was chatty, the other, quiet. All fine by me.The advertising and pricing is absolutely false. According to their website, an express cut costs $12.97. Once you enter the establishment, it costs $14.97. A cut & shampoo is advertised online as $15.97. Instead its $17.97.According to their website, the difference between an express cut and a cut & shampoo is that with the express cut, your hair is wet with a spray bottle of water, instead of being washed. In actuality, an express cut means cutting only the perimeter of your hairline -- not your entire head of hair. If you have bangs, they are cut, and the ends of your hairline are cut, only. With a proper express cut, scissors will not touch any hairs within 3 or 4 inches of the center of the crown of your head. But! With false advertising at its best, this is never mentioned. Instead, if you request an express cut, your stylist will ask you what you want done with your hair. If you specify wanting all of your hairs cut, the stylist will do as you say.When youre done having all your hairs cut, Surprise!! you didnt get an express cut after all. Your $12.97 haircut coasts $17.97! This is the part where you get to look like a fool, if you only brought enough money to pay for the haircut at its advertised price.

I take my boys to SmartStyle for all their cuts. Tonight, an angry, moody pregnant woman greeted us with a very negative attitude. I tried to ignore it and match her anger with kindness, Ive been pregnant and employed full-time before, I get it can be tiring. She just got more and more rude and irritated. She was rude to my husband when she asked if the kids had been there before and he explained that they have, just not that particular store, saying uh ok so then no, youve never been here. She had my oldest son in the chair, ready to go and told him, in a barky voice, to sit back and straight. I told her we changed our minds and told her she was rude to us from the get-go. She said okay! Have a good night! Facetious and rude. Her name was Brittany. Brittany, we all have bad days, most women have all worked pregnant. Theres no reason to spread your negative vibes to customers, especially those being nice and respectful and paying for your service, just because youre in a mood. I will not be returning to SmartStyle. I dont think its a good idea for you to be around people, children especially, with scissors.

Have had new management since October 2017. We have a friendly staff, great prices too. Always amazing sales on product!

Worst hair cut my grandson has ever gotten. His hair is not only uneven but the back where his cow lick is was shaved off and now his hair stands straight up and wont lay down in back. When I returned to the salon to complain was not given the management name was not told who the stylist was and was pretty much brushed off. Will never return here . Am going to call corporate to complain . I wasnt asking for my money back or even for them to try and fix it. I just wanted the manager to know she has a very untrained stylist .

Okay price, decent staff(sometimes a little quiet when talking, depending on who you get), good cut

Joy is a wonderful stylist and I drive from Portland for her trro cut my hair. She is very talented and works hard to please the customer!

The chick didnt even let me look in the mirror to monitor what she was doing. Now here i am with the worst bangs in existance and hair thats like 4 inches shorter than i wanted. Thanks for being the worst.

I am highly dissatisfied with my experice with the stylist Nobi at the west 11th location.I asked for a simple hair cut with no add-ons such as washing, conditioning, or styling.After the stylist finished with my hair she asked if I would like a blow dye. Not thing that this would cost any extra. I after we were finished, I went to pay. She charged me an aditional $7 for blow dying my hair.Needless to say this is not a stylist I would go back too or recommend to anyone. Horrible customer service Nobi.Please note that I am unable to post the with out at least one star, when in truth I give this experiencd 0 stars.
